I updated my app that I’ve been using for years and now it stays on the welcome screen “you’re on your way to saving!” And doesn’t move. Obviously the most recent comments all say this I would like to know when it will be fixed.
They lure you with the promise of saving a few bucks and I mean that literally. If you book a hotel make sure that it’s the one you want and it’s on the days you want, because you’re NOT getting your money back and they can’t change the reservation in ANY way. Then when you call they tell you to call someone else and they tell you to call someone else and so you get the picture. So I’ve learned a $300 lesson. I paid $300 for a room that I did not stay in and saved $8 and some change booking. I work hard for my money and for some reason it’s legal to trap hard working people into these scams just because they wanted to save a “few dollars” and they don’t care. Never will I ever use this again. I feel as though I was robbed in front of a crowd. From here on out I’ll pay full price with the option to change on my own terms.
The app itself lacks basic functionality. You can browse discounts but then when you click on anything it will bring you to the browser to continue. The app and website is plagued with technical issues that will not allow you to purchase anything anyway. Customer service basically just reads off a script and is not any help whatsoever. When I was having errors trying to purchase tickets for a theme park, customer service suggested I go buy my tickets elsewhere not on the site. So even customer support knows this app and website is trash. Would give 0 stars if I could.
I’ve always love using PerkSpot because it gives me all kinds of deals and discounts. Now that it has an app it’s great for buying things asap if you think about it on the go. Plus it also features the weekly or best deals for you that makes it easier not to miss something good!
When searching by categories, no matter which one it is, the app keeps giving me the same products over and over again, shoving MacFee security software down my throat. They must get some kind of kickback. The products and discounts are the kind you’d find in pestering ads, they’re also low tier and basically stuff nobody really wants. I’m about to delete the app, I can get the same discounts through simple web searches minus the bad user experience that comes with this nonsense.
Great to be able to access my employee discounts on an app when I’m not logged into my work email. Makes it easier to remember to check for a discount before buying something.
Using the PerkSpot app is honestly second nature at this point before buying anything. It’s always worth checking out before a purchase because you never know how much you can save.
Wow, what an awesome app. My employer has signed up with PerkSpot recently and typically I rely on the web page to get my discounts however, now I have the APP! The app is so easy and seamless to use that I can now get all my discounts on the go! Incredible!
Tried getting in and the only thing I see is the blank page “ you’re on your way to saving” frozen. Edit: customer service were quick to respond back and help with the technological issue.
I just downloaded this app because my employers emailed saying this is another alternative to the website but whenever I kept clicking anything to take me to their website to browse or shop, PerkSpot keeps asking me to sign in then takes me back to the same PerkSpot website I can easily use on the browsers… There’s no point for this app if it takes me back to the browser PerkSpot on the app and signing in..
What is the point of making the app take you to the website to sign to complete transactions after you’ve already signed in on the app? Keep all functionality on the app. I can just use the website without wasting space on my phone with this pointless app. Thanks
Had it for less than 3 months and it stopped working. Getting the “you're on your way to saving” email. Disappointed because this has been a problem for over a year and it continues to be a problem.
After logging into PerkSpot, it will stay on the page you’re on your way to savings and that’s it. Nothing else no savings no categories nothing. On the browser it works just fine, but not on the app.
I was excited about this app to get discounts through my employer. However, after downloading it was stuck on the first page a “ a thousand great ways to save “ or something like that. Super bummed it didn’t work.
Every time I open the app it says “ you’re on your way to savings.” “ thousands of exclusive deals are waiting.” On the screen and that’s it! I deleted the app and re-download it, and it still does the same thing
App has not worked for several months now. Welcome screen is stuck on “You’re on your way to saving!” No response from developers. Deleting off my phone.
