Covered my dogs expenses
Pets best covered my dogs brain tumor surgery and radiation, over 15k worth of treatment. You do wait a little while, 2-3 weeks, while they process the claim and have to pay up front, but that’s expected. Nothing but positive things to say. There are certain things they don’t cover and you have to meet your deductible before they begin to cover expenses, but again these are listed in the documents when you sign up. As far as the app goes, using the website is better, but the app is convenient at times. Highly recommend Pets Best based off my experience with the company. Healthcare in general and knowing what is covered and what isn’t covered and what documents to submit for claims processing can be frustrating and time consuming, but I don’t necessarily believe this is pets best fault. I would advise you keep all your receipts and after visit summaries in digital form and properly store them for easy retrieval.

So, I’m a long-time pet owner and have had several pet insurance companies. I like to try different ones based on coverage and reviews, and PetsBest came up as well-reviewed and a good match for the young cats we were adopting. The first well-kitty claim went well (settled quickly, though payment was slow), then the second claim everything fell apart. PetsBest took the entire 30 days to settle a simple conjunctivitis claim and then another 10 days to pay the claim. I realize these time parameters are allowed according to the policy, but it’s the same with all other policies and I’ve never experienced such lags with claims handling and payments. I’m already established now with PB, so I’ll hang in there, but I probably would go back to Embrace Insurance if I have the opportunity in the future. Regarding the App, I don’t know what’s up with the UI, but it only works about 10% of the time. It only give the “page loading” bouncing dots when I try to access claims or any of my account information. I tried to make a payment today and the option isn’t even available. I’m rocking the newest iPhone (updated with the current iOS) so it’s not a hardware issue. The App needs serious work, and paired with the shaky claims experience (so far), I’d tell folks to keep looking for a different company.

Useless—app almost never actually works
I hate this app. My vet emails me receipts, so it should be a simple matter of saving the receipt and uploading it to the app on my phone. However, probably at least 85% of the time when I try to open this app, it doesn’t work. Either it won’t open at all, meaning it just spins at the home page and won’t even show me my pets, or the submit claim function simply does not work. I can locate the pdf file on my phone and hit upload and the app just shows the spinning “waiting” icon forever without ever actually uploading it. I am so frustrated and tired of having to move to my laptop to file claims (or having to sign in to the actual website using my phone—why bother with the app?). My phone OS and the app are always up to date, and I’ve had the same problem for months. This is literally the most useless app I’ve ever had. The insurance is fine, I guess, but be prepared to spend a fortune on increased premiums if you ever file an emergency claim. One of my cats just had a hospital stay that cost $5k. The company reimbursed me for the full 80%, but they just nearly doubled my total premiums for three cats. DOUBLED. For one 2-day hospital stay for an urgent condition. Just be aware that that’s a thing they’ll do if you ever end up using the emergency illness/injury coverage.

Wish the app was as good as the coverage
The insurance is great- it’s not cheap, but neither is human insurance, and you have to pay up front and get reimbursed a couple months later (as I’ve never encountered a vet willing to wait to be paid directly by the insurer later) but, for what it is, it’s great. Then there’s the app. First “app” is a generous description. It’s more of a rebranded browser window showing you the website, complete with exhortations to try the app instead. Currently when I try to view a claim, while craning my neck because the app is locked in portrait mode and I use an ipad in a keyboard case that holds it in landscape, I’m taken to the login screen but then the login never processes, it just hangs on “logging in”. On my phone at least I can view it the right way up, but the login still doesn’t work. The only way I can actually access my account online is to use the website in my system browser. Honestly the app doesn’t even deserve the second star as it’s completely unusable, but I do like the company that much and remember past versions of the app that actually worked, so hopefully they’ll go back to that soon.

I am writing this review in complete shock of what just happened. My dog had a catastrophic sudden illness where his immune system attacked his red blood cells. I sat in the vet’s office in agony of whether or not to trust this insurance and commit to over $5,000 in treatment. I woke up this morning to a small Christmas miracle - a $4,249 reimbursement!!!! I only had the insurance since February of this year, I had only taken him to the vet three times in the 8 years I had him. I was sure they were going to find a million excuses of why not to pay, including a complete lack of medical records. However, I didn’t have a single problem. I almost never write reviews and I’m still hesitant to trust that this company will always be this reliable due to the fact they won’t affirm anything about payments for services before hand. But wow! I’m so thankful this holiday season for Pet’s Best!!!!

I must be the exception.
We just renewed our policy with PetsBest. Our first year was problem free. We have the total package, illness, accident, and wellness. Our illness claims were processed in a timely manner. The wellness claims take a little longer. Ours took about a month, but they came through. So far, their customer service has been great. We’ve had no problems, and anyone we have spoken to was professional and knowledgeable, and took care of things. I didn’t give it 5 stars because of the long hold time to speak to someone, probably because of the Covid thing, and because of the longer claim processing time for wellness issues, but overall we are satisfied with PetsBest. If you do have to file a claim, it’s worth the extra effort it takes to get the documentation from your vet, needed to process your claim. If you have what you need, there are no snags. I found it was easier to ask ahead of time what they needed from me before I sent in the claim. Hope this helps someone.

Excellent Animal Care Takers!
Our Susie was very ill a few years ago. Pets Best was with us the entire journey. After nearly a month of hospitalizations, very expensive vet bills, Susie pulled through just fine. Pets Best lived up to their promise, so much so it gave us the monetary peace of mind to tell the vets…save her life! I’m writing this review because our Susie is sick again, but not related. Chronic diarrhea for 2 days, took her to local vet for evaluation. We’re sure she’ll be fine, but because of the security of Pets Best, we did not hesitate to take her in. We see how Susie fares over the next few days, and test results come back, regardless of outcome, we know Pets Best will treat us fairly👍

Great service, bad app
After researching lots of pet insurance companies, I wound up choosing pets best and it has definitely saved me, well me financially, and my dog literally! If you own a dog breed that you know is prone to certain health issues it is definitely worth it to get up to 90% reimbursement, but I would even get it at a lower reimbursement rate for less problematic breeds. I’ve been a customer for a couple years now and can say that I’m satisfied, although some of the larger claims take much longer to process than the time frame that’s given and the app definitely needs some work. It had some bugs before where it would randomly log me out, but now I’m unable to even log back in even though I can use the mobile website just fine. Update: it’s been months and I can no longer use the app. It won’t let me log on even though I have no problem logging in online.

Website terrible
Frustrated with Pets Best website. It will not let me download and open documents half the time. While it it does seem to work better on my IPad my IPhone not so much . If you arrow back or click on a different tab you get kicked off and have to sign in again. Often times I click on a tab and it appears to be locked up so I arrow back you know what happens then. I pay for the Wellness Plan for both dogs. Submitted 2 claims for teeth cleaning and they came back I do not have that benefit to which aI have been billed for over two years time. On hold with customer service over 30 minutes and get some guy who has no clue. He tells me with this issue he will have to get another agents advice. On hold again. Repeats questions I have already been asked. I hang up in frustration. If I leave Pets Best and go to another then any pre-existing issues will not be covered so I am stuck while every year at renewal prices go way up. Reviews looked great when I first made a choice but I have buyers remorse big time.

Feeling punished for preventative care
First year with a puppy, paid for best wellness ontop of best benifit plan which is a scam. Got my female dog spayed, as one does when one doesn’t want to wind up with a litter, and despite having a plan that includes coverage for prescriptions, only $150 was covered out of the $850 total expenses through the vet. I didn’t think I needed to seek out the spay truck that goes to low income areas to support those communities since I have the means to pay for pet insurance but apparently I should’ve taken that resource from someone else who needed it because I didn’t know that this company wouldn’t include the various elements such as bloodwork and post op medication necessary for a spay in their “spay” coverage. I’ll be changing policies when the year is up and my holidays are ruined thanks to this unexpected expense! Yay! I guess an emergency c section due to puppies would’ve been fully covered…but not the preventative surgery to avoid that? Doesn’t make sense.

Waste of money DONT DO IT
Listen everyone - make sure you wait the 14 day waiting period after your policy starts BEFORE you take your dogs to the vet. They didn’t cover $3,000 in medical expenses because it didn’t meet their 14 day waiting period even though my dog was deathly Ill. They clearly don’t actually care about the health of your dogs. Please wait 14 days before you take your dogs to any vet and tell the vet the symptoms happened right at that 14th day, they can’t prove you wrong and your bills will be covered this way. I got screwed because I went to the vet about a week too early and now have to be punished for taking my dog to the vet TOO SOON. I canceled my policies for both of my dogs. Why pay $80 a month when they won’t cover anything. I suggest going with banfield or getting a care credit card and planning for the expenses yourself. They are a waste of money and don’t care. What a dumb loop hole that can easily be worked around.

Canceled. Don’t waste you’re money
I’ve had a policy for two years contributing almost $1500 for a well maintained indoor cat. Of the two years of coverage only two regular maintenance checkups were covered totaling roughly $90 (by reimbursement). Three of three dental/health services recommended as “essential” by my vet were not covered - and not covered by most any company, at exorbitant cost which I’d have had to shell for first anyway if they had been. And then only receiving a portion back. Save your money, work out an arrangement with your vet and pay out of pocket. The slow and clunky app and website are also difficult to navigate. And while you can initiate a policy relatively quickly cancelation is totally different, waiting on hold for half an hour. Not to mention a sneaky undisclosed $17 premium hike I wouldn’t have seen if I wasn’t looking.

Company and coverage are great, app is not
I’ve had Pets Best coverage for my rescue dog since 2018. In the past year he’s had multiple medical problems including ministrokes, pancreatitis, and osteoarthritis. Several hospitalizations, MRI, numerous treatments, and medications… they covered it all. I’ve been more than happy and thankful for Pets Best. There’s no way I’d have ever been able to afford all of these expenses. The app though leaves a lot to be desired. It used to work fine. But now when I try to sign on, the little wheel just spins infinitely, and I’m not able to access anything. I’m now having to go to the webpage in order to do anything. Minor inconvenience, but it was much easier when the app actually worked.

Amazing pet insurance
When I adopted a dog- my mother recommended pets best insurance and so I signed up that same day. Never thought my dog would later be diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy, need double TPLO surgery and now bladder surgery. I wouldn’t have been able to afford all of these surgeries and treatments if it weren’t for Pets Best insurance. Filing claims is an easy process and customer service is helpful. Reimbursements take 3-4 weeks give or take. The new updated app glitches A LOT and I am constantly uninstalling and reinstalling just to be able to use it -but that’s the only bummer. I highly recommend Pets Best!!!

App, policy, and claims service
Be aware that if you are trying to upgrade your policy and they decide it needs to be rewritten, any illnesses that they have covered while your pet is on this policy will now be deemed pre existing and will not be covered. I was trying to upgrade to cover exam fees as well, but that would make all current illnesses that were treated on this company's policy that they previously covered now pre existing, and would not cover anything. Claims take very very long to process, asking the vet for information that they already received from previous claims. They advertise the app but it doesn't work at all. When trying to view a claim it brings you to the website to log in again…and that just spins on the login screen. Anything else you try to access it makes you log in though the browser…whats the point of the app?

Life saver.
Petsbest has literally been a life saver since I enrolled my puppy when I first got him. He’s over two now but it still comes in handy for those unexpected expenses. Can’t recommend enough! (DEVELOPERS LOOK HERE) My only critique is for the app. When filling out a new claim, you come to a page that asks if you have any additional information to help with the claim. The input for this section is WAY too small and doesn’t easily accommodate details, even though there’s an entire page. Ideally the input would be some kind of text box that would more easily allow users to add multiple lines for context without having to scroll within a tiny input.

Terrible app experience, great insurance.
2 stars for the app only. This app was great before I got a new phone. I loved being able to submit everything from my phone, it was so convenient. Since getting a new phone, I can’t even login. I’ve authorized and not authorized Face ID and notifications, when it gets to the “Continue to app” button, nothing happens. When I click on app support, nothing. The app is effectively useless. The insurance has been great, even communicating when it was taking longer to process a claim. I’ve had heartworm prevention for both of my dogs listed on an illness claim more than once and they take care of both without me having to submit a wellness claim separately. If they could fix this issue with the app, it would be 5 stars.

A good experience so far
I have had a good experience in the first few months I have been a customer. I have an older dog and appreciate that I could get coverage. The wellness addendum is well worth the extra cost as it has covered vaccinations and flea and tick and heartworm medication, plus quite a bit else. I find the customer agents easy to work with. I have never, so far, had a claim that was not paid, except in the beginning when I needed to meet my deductible. I find they provide the best coverage for the most affordable premium of all the other pet insurance companies.

Absolutely legitimate
I saw this ad in June of 2022. I’m 50 years old and have enjoyed companionship with dogs for many years. My Dobie was approx 2 years old and for reasons unknown at the time I elected to buy this insurance. 6 months later my dog had an incident that led to hospitalization and the vets telling me they had treatment that could run as much as $8,000. I said yes for the treatment to save her life, and just hoped my insurance was legit. Long story short it was 100% legit and the policy enabled me to recover much of the costs. 100% recommend this company!

Not worth it
I wish I would have looked at the ratings before signing up for this insurance. It is all pretty abysmal coverage, checkups end up costing close to the same price without insurance and they do not work with you to clearly establish what is covered. We had an accident when my puppy was about 4 months and she is now over a year old and we have not received a penny back on the reimbursement. They have some of the worst communication I’ve seen at any company, they won’t send confirmation that they have received anything and in my experience only send emails after you call 2-4 times asking about it. Would highly recommend a different company, it doesn’t seem like they know what they’re doing and care more about making you feel irrelevant than about you or your pet. Inept is a kind way to describe this company.

42 DAY WAIT ON CLAIMS PROCESS!!!!!!!
UPDATE: as of 9/11 there is a 42 day wait to process claims. They don’t know which date they are on but it’s first come first served but they can’t tell you where you are on the list. Stay away people. Go with a company that CARES about you and your pet needing claim reimbursement so you can continue to care for your pet the best ways possible. These folks do not care. I went with the elite and I started out a good experience but then at his final puppy shots I had already maxed out his benefits which ok but they’ve had my claim since August 17 and still haven’t processed it with zero explanation. Just more “sorry we’re late” emails. Then when I called the reps were rude which didn’t help. I’ve since canceled and they still haven’t processed the claim. I won’t be going with them again.

Go Elsewhere
Have had this insurance for almost a year. Still asking for 12 mo records to investigate my claim even though they have all of them. Then it’s weeks of still waiting on vet to send records Every time!! I have to call vet and bug they to send again. Claim is never updated till it goes to processed. Over an hour to reach them. No communication on their part. App isn’t working good now either. Trouble opening and keeps spinning. Weeks to get simple claims processed. First it was Covid so I thought it would change but no, claims still take forever. Had some claims paid so at least happy for that. Reviews weren’t horrible when I signed up. Now stuck because if I pick a new pet insurance now, everything is a pre existing condition. Find another company.

App freezes constantly
App is and always has been terrible the 2+ years I’ve been a customer. My iOS is up to date. Insurance is decent (both regular illness and wellness), but it would be nicer if my vet would accept it. Reimbursement ranges from a couple weeks (unusual) to over a month. Would be nice if that system was faster. One basic vax given by a vet tech is ~$100, while $70 comes out of my bank account without fail. Should be a more seamless method for caring for our pets. Really irritating to have to do it on my computer. Log in page freezes, as well as uploading claim documents. Every. Single. Time.

App Never Works
The app never works and when I click on App Support it goes to a page that says “Oops there’s an error.” The app used to show my pets and policy information, now it stays blank and loading a wheel. I’ve uninstalled several times and it will work once before it blanks out again. The app has become unusable. As far as Pets Best goes, they’re good but they need improve processing times for claims. They always give a timeframe when a claim is submitted and then take weeks longer than the dates the provide to reimburse. Healthy Paws is fantastic about reimbursing within a few days, but I since I bundled Pets Best with my home and auto insurance I went this route. I just wish their claims process was easier and quicker.

App doesn’t work. They don’t pay for anything
App never keeps me logged in. Then when I have to login, the fields auto populate and won’t allow me to type and it won’t let me access anything. I’ve called in numerous times about this issue and all they say is to delete and reinstall the app. I’ve done that multiple times already. Also, have submitted a claim for allergy medications. Was only a $44 claim. It’s been over a month and I’ve had 0 response other than when I called in to follow up and was told that the $36 medication won’t be covered, but maybe the $8 one will. Not worth the monthly cost if all they do is fight covering anything. I’d rather put money aside on my own and save it towards vet expenses. Will be cancelling.

Satisfied so far
I am satisfied so far with the service I receive from Pet's Beat. Claims are handed quickly and accurately. After the deductible is met claims are sent right to my checking account. Setting up everything is easy in the app. I just take a picture of the invoice and receipt and I'm all set. Having someone to call in case I have questions on whether to take my dog to the vet is an added bonus.

Insurance fine, App horrible
The insurance is comparable to others. I chose it over others based on cost and coverage. But the app is horrible. Nine out of ten times I can’t log in. It just hangs up. The log in only shows up when I choose to view or update a claim, not on the Home Screen. It can easily take 15-20 minutes to finally log in. I’m not sure though because I usually give up after 5 and go back to important things. Access on the web is fine, but that’s not always an option. Fix the app.

Claims?!?!
I usually don’t write reviews for apps, but I’m feeling, more and more every day, that this company is a scam. I have submitted claim(s) for my dog, and it’s been over 3 weeks since I’ve heard anything back. I called customer service on week 2 and they told me “It can take up to 15 days for claims to go through”; meanwhile, I’m on day 21 and my claim status has not ascended a single step. Not only will you have to pay your vet bill without getting reimbursed in a timely manner, but you’ll also have to drain yourself by paying their monthly subscription. I’m definitely not happy with the service I’ve received so far. I’m hoping that things change for the sake of my fur baby… but I guess we will see.

Insurance is 5 stars, App 0 Stars
What a shame for such a good company to have such a clunky app. I cannot even begin to describe how unintuitive it is. It freezes all the time, logs me out almost immediately, won’t load my pets on the home page, the navigation is really confusing to me, and I’m on the computer and apps all day at work. It’s just not a good functioning app. Submitting a claim is almost impossible and takes typically 5-6 tries for me to get lucky it doesn’t freeze and crash. And to top it all off, the times I’ve emailed tech support the reply I get is hilariously snarky and defensive. Uhhhhh… okay! (?) Get down with your bad selves, I guess?

Insurance is great, app is a little wonky
I love the insurance, let me say that first. Everyone I’ve spoken to is so kind and genuine. The coverage is fantastic and I genuinely feel better knowing my dog is covered. The app itself however is pretty outdated. I have to sign in every time I want to see something on my account, once I’m signed in and I want to view something else, I have to sign in again. On a desktop there are no problems, just on the app. Maybe developers could try to work the bugs out on that and it’d be seamless

App no longer allows easy claim submission
Easy claim submission should be a no-brainer… Unless you are an insurance company. When you click submit a claim, it no longer gives you the option to choose which pet. The page is just blank. When you call, they tell you it must be something wrong with your phone or you have not updated the app… Neither of which is the case. Pets Best charges quite a bit of money for slow turnaround on claims, yet they can’t make it easy for claims to be submitted (as they did in the past) so that they can hang onto their money that customers pay them for pet insurance. Run and run fast to another pet insurance company if you can!

App- Just Okay
This review is purely for the app and not the insurance company itself. The app is a bit annoying to navigate and appears to be a lot of issues. I’m constantly having to log-in just to access a new part of the app. The uploading process for claims was also tedious and slow, with “access denied” sometimes appearing when I log onto the app for the claims portal. It has potential but for now I would recommend using the website directly if you have to file any claims or do anything that requires more than a quick check.

Terrible app
I’ve never left a review on an app so that means it’s extra annoying. When you open the app it will say your signed in but then you go to update a claim and it will sit there spinning and never log you I . You have to completely log out log back in go back to claim section and log back in again. I’m trying to update a claim like they’re asking but in the “why did you take your pet to the vet?” Box the keyboard doesn’t even pop up on the phone for you to type anything. Won’t even let you type it somewhere else and paste it into the box. How are you supposed to fill a form out without the option of the keyboard popping up?

App has really limited functionality
Pet’s Best has been great so far as an insurance provider but the app could use a lot of work. You can’t really do much with the app. You can view claims and coverage details but that’s pretty much it. There is functionality to look at your payment information, but this just takes you to the website in an in-app browser and you have to login a second time which doesn’t make sense. It would be nice if you could have access to all aspects of the account within the app only having to log in once and not inside of an in-app browser.

Love the insurance - hate the app
This review is not a reflection of the pet insurance just the app itself. I almost can never get this app to open or work at all, I always have to submit claims on the website which is frustrating. I love the ease of using an app. I have been very happy with the insurance thus far. I think a lot of the complaints are people not reading or understanding the policy. For example, many people seem upset that the preventative plan didn’t cover ALL of the preventative care when it very clearly tells you the amount it is going to cover for each thing and PetsBest is very upfront about this. It never claimed to cover all preventative care 100%

Great coverage not a great app
This app is extremely frustrating. There are frequent loading errors. I have never been able to connect to the mobile chat feature. It never loads. Which is really, really annoying when the call wait times are unbearably long. It’s easy to submit a claim, but they take so long to process (I understand that) but the progress bar isn’t a really great indicator of where you claim is in the process or how long it will take. The loading errors need to be fixed. The inability to access mobile chat needs to be fixed.

Service great, app terrible
I love pets best. The insurance and service is amazing! The app though? It needs work! Sometimes my pet information doesn’t even load. If you want to look at your account information (billing and what not), you have to log in again on the app to see anything. But when you go to log in it’ll tell you to get the app for an easier way to access this. It makes no sense. It’s like they have the app but it will treat everything as a new website instead of an app. No use in getting the app so I just do everyone on the website now. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Very Good Policy But App Could Use Some Work
Really like this policy—I have both my dogs on it. Turnaround time is about 2 weeks for filing a claim and getting your check in the mail. The only criticism I am having is regarding the app. I am unable to use WhiskerDocs from it and always have to open it up in the Safari browser to get it to work. The error message states: “WhiskerDocs Chat is currently unavailable. Please try again later.” Otherwise the app is very easy to use.

Along with all the normal stuff pets best covers with the wellness package, twice now pets best has paid out major amounts for us for serious illness and injuries. We did get a normal and expected age related slight premium increase after 3 years of coverage. I truly can’t imagine ever not using pets best. We thought we would have to cancel a planned vacation but Pets Best came through quickly and generously. I LOVE PETS BEST INSURANCE.

Easier than expected!
We have had this policy for our dog for about 10 months. When we have submitted a claim, online, it has always been easy and promptly responded to. I was dreading it the first time thinking there would be red tape, lots of questions, etc. But no... upload picture of receipt, click 2 or 3 boxes,,,,done! When I’ve had a question, it has been quickly responded to !

Unsure why 1 Star Reviews?
This company is amazing. If you do what’s asked, they pay back within 15 days. Never had to wait more for reimbursement on my pup. Never had issues with what i submitted. It’s an amazing pet insurance that even allows you to submit paperwork through the vet to pay the vet directly for surgeries. My pup had a tooth accident and removal was $1500. We only paid $150 out of pocket and reimbursement came within 2 weeks. They’re super quick and helpful!

Company is fantastic. App is ok
This company stands by their promises and pays claims quickly. The process is straightforward if you submit receipts electronically. However, the app itself is buggy. I’ve had it installed for several weeks and have needed to delete and reinstall it several times for it to reflect the correct information. I hope they work on the app, but the company is great.

App doesn’t even work
The App cannot independently store login information or even allow you to login to your account by itself, it instead opens your browser and sends you to a login page on the petsbest website which consistently freezes on attempting to login leaving you unable to access any of the apps functions. This has been a problem since installing the app months ago. Additionally, their feature that claims to add your pets insurance card to your digital wallet is broken or at best misrepresented because all it does is give you a poorly aligned pdf file which you’ll need to print out and then cut out. Make sure your features work properly before releasing something with the idea that it’s more convenient and the “best” way to access your information. If you don’t have access to the internet or have a poor signal in the area where you need to provide these documents you’re essentially screwed.

Amazing Insurance Horrible App
My experience with Pets Best has been phenomenal. They’ve covered everything for my dogs renal dysplasia and it’s a lot. 0 questions from them. The app however is terrible. It used to be decent but since recent updates it takes forever to load just a blank page and the claims page also remains blank. I now submit all claims on the website which is easy enough. I just don’t understand what changes they’ve made to the app for it to no longer be useful.

Previously good, now very bad
Insurance premiums have more than doubled over the past 2 years with no value added at all…claims take an eternity to process even after having to pay up front from own pocket. Then even after waiting forever, claims are often denied for ridiculous nitpick reasons which then have to be disputed almost every time…this was not always the case, but has become the norm, & now everything about dealing with a claim is a horrible experience overall. I used to happily recommend Pets Best insurance to any who asked, but now recommend that you look elsewhere for quality coverage.

Great coverage and compassionate customer service
I used pets best for my senior dog from age 10 to when he recently passed away at age 14. They covered everything fairly and were so kind to us when he passed away. Claims were processed faster than human healthcare and coverage was transparent. The dental options are not good, but I think that’s true of all pet insurance. I’d absolutely work with them again.

Very good experience so far!!
PetsBest won’t cover 100% of what you’d end up paying to your vet, when your pet is sick or had a trauma and had to rush in for an emergency or whatever it could be.. but I must say they do a pretty good job covering the majority of your expenditure and I’d recommend PetsBest as their pet insurance if you have to get one for sure.. thank you PetsBest for all support you’ve been, mentally and financially!

new app
New App works great. had to delete app and reinstall for it to work properly but then it worked great. As for the company, ive had no problem with them covering everything so far and we have had a big illness bill and an accident bill. We have had our dog covered from a puppy though and that makes a difference. Read whole policy and make sure it covers things you might expect with your breed.

The app is frustrating
The app is a pain to use. It will say I’m logged in, but when I go to click on another part of the app, like view my claim, it will make me log back in. And typically, it just freezes on the log in page. The website works fine, and the insurance itself is great, but the app has some major bug fixes needed. I have had to file all of my claims using my computer because it takes too long (if it even loads at all) to do it on my phone, which can be inconvenient if I’m not at home with my computer. Again, insurance itself is great. App, not great.

APP REVIEW ONLY
used to love love love this app, made submitting claims and communicating with customer service super easy as well keeping up to date on dogs records but since about April the app takes 15 mins to load. IF it ever does. I have an iPhone 12 Pro, up to date iOS system and work in graphic design, this is NOT operator error. I have been trying to submit a claim via the app over a month and the app has been continually glitching. Otherwise LOVE the insurance company but fix your app PLEASEEEEE. I have been a customer since I got my pup, almost four years in September, ease of use was among the reasons I stayed so long.
