PFFCU Mobile Banking

I was tagged into this bank maybe 12 years ago when my stepfather who recently just passed a month ago was a fireman for the city of Philadelphia I was always grateful he was able to get me my mother and my siblings into this bank back then because it is been very beneficial and helpful and helps me save what little I always could have being so independent all through my 20s and even at times when I had little to no funds my bank accounts were never closed. I really appreciate the security measures that your bank takes however? A month after the Covid started and my son was born I accidentally signed my signature a little too much down on the check for the mobile check deposit and it was bounced I would’ve appreciated a phone call before hand because like I said it was hard because I had little to no money being a single mom I wasn’t working because of Covid and it was slightly embarrassing asking the person who gifted the check to me and my son for his birth to have another check sent again because of that issue. Other than that I am always very pleased with this bank I just wish the customer support was open a little bit later if it couldn’t be 24 hours

In the beginning when we first down loaded the app it worked very well. Then it logged us out after about a month in a half. First we called they (PFFCU) could not help us so they suggested that we go into one of there branches and we did, so once we got there they started that they could see that we have a mobile account. After awhile went by of them trying to help us we were told that we would have to call the 1-800 number again. Back a forth we went! Back to another brand. Still no help we have no way of seeing our transition through out our account and they have not helped us!!! They only get one star from me because of the lack of professionalism.

The app is friendly but it hard to add the service where you can transfer between several accounts. Plus I don’t like that you have to go in the branch for fees. You should be able to do it over the phone as well because they do the same verification that the credit union do inside. But overall I love my credit union and the services they provide and allow the community to have a chance to have a bank account for all people. That’s the real diversity and it allow more to banker to understand the true life and service to banking compared to those commercial bank that rips you off.

The app has improved greatly to include the features of the website. It’s easier to navigate balances and set up transfers. It is still, however, disappointing at successfully capturing checks for remote deposit. Even before they tried to implement a strict enforcement on how checks could be endorsed it, it was impossible. Then with the requirements, deposits were somewhat more successful so that I had a stamp made. Now that no lingers works. Through all of this I wonder why I don’t have this problem with at other banks and credit unions. What is wrong with this developer? It’s the feature I want the app for the most, especially with covid restrictions and hours, bad usps service, and never actually trusting an ATM. Figure it out guys. Thanks.

It’s not as seamless as the PNC app but it’s fairly easy to do things on it. The problem is trying to understand HOW to use it at first. A lot of bank apps are intuitive, this one not so much. You cannot just pay your credit card amount from the app. You have to log into the Credit Card website from the app to do it if you are paying from an account that isn’t part of PFFCU. If you are paying off a loan and you bank with another institution, in order to make your payment, you have to set up outside transfers every time you want to pay your bill. But once I set it up automatically, it goes through no problem. All in all is pretty good once you get used to the options.

I love the app except for a few things: if I buy something it doesn’t always take it right off the balance so when I check what I have it makes me believe I have a certain amount so I’ll buy something and next thing I know, I’m in the negative. 2nd thing is this app does not send me text notifications like I have set to show me my balance and transactions. Every time I buy something I should get notified and shown how much and then the actual balance left in the account. Other then that I love it’s simplicity of the app and how easy it it to transfer money between checking and savings. The app is 100% worth having regardless of the 2 issues I have.

In essence, each time they ascertain an update it’s only for the better. Like the improvement made with regard to payment of credit card. Only have to utilize one screen instead of bouncing to another. Keep making excellent updates, impressed with the new. In addition they could add other features such as letting users know what they spent each month, being able to transfer money via voice to other accounts or individuals and being able to lock your card for other reasons then just a card being lost.

out of every bank i’ve ever used, PFFCU is by far the best one. you never have to wait in line, you always get a real person answering the phone, they always respond to every message within 24 hrs, it truly is one great financial institution. is their app the most high tech and advanced? no. but i appreciate them always updating and improving what they have. i agree with others that they should include the credit card options within the app but i think they will get there eventually. the app is easy enough for my teenager to use himself as he learns to take care of his own bank account and that speaks volumes. he uses it daily to check his balance and keep track of purchases he made and likes using it.

I live in FL and use app exclusively. Even with updates it is generally a positive update in a feature versus something you cannot figure out until you use it two or three times. But I have been with PFFCU originally in the mid-80s and then back in 2005 when I moved back to Florida. So I am partial to the entire credit union. I find this is just one more way to make it a little bit easier for me to access my account, set up bill pay, make on line mobile deposis. all the little stuff. Since 1;003 miles to the nearest PFFCU branch it helps.

There are somethings I wish were easier to excess. Such as searching for particular payments when you want a whole list of them it’s very difficult to access the list of payments that you needed if you needed to check something. Also credit card access to payments doesn’t show on what you spent only the payments extra payments that you post. There should also be a way to access your tax information with without going through a big ordeal simplifying that would help the end of the year like checks.

I use the App all the time and love it for the convenience. The one issue that I have had multiple times ( totally user error but I feel it could be more avoidable). I have my whole families accounts so that I can do transfers but I think choosing which account you are making transfer into should be clearer and confirmable another time before the transfer happens… I can’t say how many times I have transferred to the wrong kid or paid off my sons credit card in error thinking I was transferring to my own vis holding account!

I can say this banking app is without a doubt very reliable for when you’re on the go if you don’t have time to pay your local bank a visit especially when you’re on your way to work and your hard earned money is always guaranteed to be highly protected and secure and it remains at the same balance where you last left it off that way you won’t go into a panic as if someone or something either electronically or in real life tried to steal it so I definitely give PFFCU five stars for this they never disappoint.

This convenient app is easy to use for just about everything Although I live on the West Coast, I’m able to do most of my banking off hours pacific time The ability to remotely deposit checks through my phone is a wonderful feature The major downfall is the surcharge free ATM locater I’ve found this difficult to use, unreliable, and frustrating with the poor use of mapping Since I no longer live in the PHL area, finding surcharge free ATMs in other states is challenging and the app makes this process even more cumbersome Otherwise the app is an excellent tool and I’m glad it’s available

couldn’t be better. anything i need to do is only a click away. it’s always more comfortable to have everything right in front of me and so easy to pay bills security is top notch. but at the same time even if you go somewhere and they decline the charge which doesn’t happen often. let’s say you went to gucci and bought a bag. might decline, and it could be sunday at 8pm you’ll still be connected with someone immediately and get the charge out through. LOVE

We should be able to transfer on this app. Why is this not an options? I would like to see more detailed transactions than what is on the app. Sometimes I don’t have the time to go online and the app makes things easier, even though it doesn’t have all the good features. What happened to finger touch access, that was removed to as well. Please make the app do more! Thank you 👌😁 Ok some of the features are on there now!! I did give a 4 star, but I would love to tell in detail more of transactions and which acct I’m sending money to. Not everyone knows that S4 is checking so forth on.

I don’t understand why a company as big as Visa is having such a problem keeping track of customers’ account activities. I appreciate the security and am very aware of Hackers, but this is a very established company. I just feel that it should be better. I do keep track of my deposits and withdrawals but when I know what my balances are, and it’s telling me less than, then two days later it tells me exactly what I totaled, but can’t get to it if needed is very frustrating. Also this has happened quite frequently lately. I hope this problem will be resolved soon. Thank you for letting me vent.

I have never run into any issues such a freezing which is rare with an App. It is easy to navigate. It has all the necessary features including bill pay, transferring between accounts, mobile check deposits, and transaction history is always up to date. My other banking institution has sometimes taken up to two days to update (even longer over weekends). Most importantly, the App has always been very secure unlike other banking sites.

Hey man this app is good , great bank it’s just slow sometimes and also the ATM in cottman be buggin like c’mon now I get gas and the payment be pending for like a day straight so then i’ll be buying another thing and don’t even know how much i have and then the next day have like 20 or 30 dollars more , i don’t even know but you know what don’t change anything free money is better anyways🙌🏼 y’all won’t see this anyways so idk what else to say.

Convenient app I can transfer money and check balances very easily. The security features also work great. I haven’t experienced too many issues except the occasional lag after login. Also, the balances are sometimes slow to update on the app’s main screen after cash infusions; one time this resulted in quite the scare! A simple fix is going into checking or savings and looking at the logs directly. Highly recommend.

I love this app!!! It has everything I need at my fingertips. It’s safe, fast, easy and every account detail I need is here whenever I need to see it. I don’t know what I would do without it. Full account details in every aspect of my PFFCU account! If I’ve forgotten something ?…just log right back in. I don’t feel like I’m being a nuisance. When I have a question or issue I can’t find a solution for, I phone in to their very helpful attentive call line.

I really like the app. I can check my account, to make sure that the activities on my account are correct, I can transfer money from one account account to the other, but, my favorite, is being able to put a check into my account with simply taking a picture of the front, and, back of the check I want to put into my account. I really enjoy banking by different devices.

It’s ok as Credit Union apps go but compared to the big banks it seems clunky and not as easy to navigate as the bank giants. Having to switch to a completely different site to look at my credit card rather than it being on the same page as a link is irksome. It’s clear the amount of investment is into online apps and the website is infinitesimal compared to banks. The gold standards as far as app design are TD, BoA, and Chase in my opinion (all with which I have accounts), TD being the most impressive: sleek, visually attractive, and easy to navigate.

The app is easy to use, safe and efficient. Transfer to another of your shares from the share where your balance of funds is located, or check your balances without moving any money. You can also look up past statements, individual checks and much more. You can fo this from your smart phone or computer without leaving the comfort of your home and without calling the bank. I think the PFFCU app is terrific.

I have been using this app for a while now. I’ll say I use it at least once or twice a day to check up on finances i.e transactions. It is reliable and efficient. It is updated from time to time, to keep up with safety and to enhance usability. I see it as an extension of the excellent customer service that I have come to know with the establishment. This bank does not “nickel and dime” you like other banks do, and that is my opinion.

I switched to PFFCU last year from American Heritage. It didn’t take me long to work my way around the app. I use it mostly to check my balance, transfer funds between accounts and make mobile deposits, but have found it very easy to use when I have other things I need to do. The Customer Service section has been very responsive when I’ve had to contact them.

This could be a great app. The operative word being COULD. I only downloaded it for the capability of depositing checks as it’s difficult to get to a branch. I guarantee that 9 times out of 10 I need to attempt this operation at least twice before it accepts the deposit. I’ve tried unsuccessfully to do simple fund transfers. Even loading the accounts on the home page when you first log in can malfunction. I know it will cost more money to get the right people to fix this app and may even increase our costs, but it would bring so much value to customers if this thing was actually reliable!

I have been using the PFFCU banking APP since it was first released, years ago. It is very simple and easy to use, especially the bill pay feature, and being able to easily transfer funds between accounts. Over the years, it has saved me countless hours of writing and mailing checks,along with making trips to the branch office , allowing me to do other things that are fun or productive.

PFFCU is probably the best Credit Union in the country! I became a Police Officer in February, 1982 and have been a member since! This wonderful Credit Union has enabled me to purchase cars, houses, and just get needed money for numerous reasons. I have never encountered an employee who wasn’t eager to assist me. I can’t believe how members get an appreciation bonus in December! I certainly appreciate it, however the excellent service is more than reason enough to stay! Thank-you very much!

This bank is always there for me security is great and I don’t worry about my money in this bank . It’s like having a real Police officer on hand at all times making sure your money is safe ! I have never felt more relaxed at any other bank . I’m always proud to say I bank with “ POLICE & FIRE I also like that when I say it . People say “ It”s hard to get in ..it only means that it’s a good place to bank . It’s a “No nonsense Institution ! I love it .

Ever since this new update, it’s been incredibly buggy & my husband & I never have an accurate amount shown in our bank account. We share accounts & his says one number & mine says another. It’s super difficult to navigate the app & figure out when certain expenses were taken out. Based on our calculations & bills, we should NOT be where we are at & it’s making it practically impossible to manage our money. Please fix the bugs or just go back to the old app. Unfortunately money is literally everything in our lives & to not have an accurate & simple way to manage our accounts is making our lives incredibly difficult.

I enjoy using the online banking mobile app. It’s easy to navigate and has allowed me to save time with having to go into the bank. I wish their was an option to link multiple accounts so that I can see a summary of my account balances through one screen instead of having to log-in to each individual account.

I like the mobile app! It’s convenient & easy! The only problem is I haven’t be able to transfer between accounts on it for some reason but I don’t do it often so it’s not a big deal.. but I love how quick it is & I can quickly access it whenever & if I have to lock my card I can! I’ve done that once and I’m glad I was able to! It was just as easy to unlock it as well!!!

I love having Police and Fire Credit Union as my bank. There are so many convenient locations and I can get a replacement debit card while I wait a couple of minutes. The staff is always respectful and friendly and helpful. I highly recommend you join a credit union soon. I will really need them when I’m buying my next home or car.

It’s an overall great and well rounded app. All the important features and options are there. Although it would be better if we had the ability to preconfigure an ATM transaction with ATM/Check card in Apple Wallet and the ATMs had their contactless readers been enabled. Also, the ability to add the option to configure bill denominations for withdrawals and adding $5, $10, $50, and $100 bills to ATMs too or at least at select highest traffic ATM locations

The greatest place to do banking I’ve been banking here for close to fifty years. The first branch was on Castor ave just north of cottman on the east side odd numbers next to what I remember to be a pet store /fist aquarium store. Not far from I think a toys are us. They gave me my first loan for a car I went there with fifteen hundred in cash then got approved for the loan. Didn’t say that I had just left PNC after getting the fifteen hundred lol. The app is very easy to use especially if you lose a card and have to lock your account. I can easily switch between checking and savings and see all of my transactions. You can also instantly transfer funds between members as well. Both of my kids now have accounts here and they have the app too.

Been using the PFFCU app for over a few years now and have not had a complaint when it comes to doing what I want, in depositing mobile checks, transferring to accounts, paying bills, and sending money to other PFFCU accounts. With todays stress, family and fast pace life style the mobile app helps banking conveniently and worry free.

The PFFCU is the best credit union ever I would give them 20 stars. They really support their customers in their financial endeavors. The staff is informative, financially educated and professional. If your looking for a credit union that really cares about their customers, then open a checking/saving account and other investment accounts, you will not be disappointed.

The app has bad reviews and most of them are for the bank itself and not the app... Finally up to date with today’s technology. Love the new look, features and multiple ways to access my accounts. I’m glad that they added all of my accounts onto the home screen instead of having to go online to see them all. The app looks a lot neater to and more organized. Great job. We all have to remember that we’re rating the app and not the bank 😂

I have been a member of PFFCU since 2004. I always get great service there and very happy that they have a coin counting machine. The new app is wonderful and easy to navigate. I also manage my grandchildren’s individual accounts, setting up bimonthly transfers from my account and purchasing CDs when their balances reach a certain point. It’s a shame that the minimum for CDs was raised to $1000 and I wish they could change it back to $500.

The app is ok but it can be better. Since pulling money out at the atm is a long drawn out process, can we get a feature where as though we can start the withdrawal process in app, tap our phone on the atm and the money comes out?! Similar to Bank of America? Because I timed a withdrawal and it’s 53 seconds for the whole process.

This app is very useful for those of us who moved out of the pffcu service area. The mobile deposit makes it possible to deposit checks without going to a bank. The transactions are always listed very quickly which is amazing. The one thing I’ve noticed missing is the website version of online banking will show things like credit card balance and the app will not.

Very easy to use, so much convenient and easy to use. Helps you keep track of your activity and account and when you can’t get to the bank you can use the app. I love it and love the credit union love this credit union and mobile app makes it easier to manage your money. I absolutely love the app helps me manage my account

I think I would have given this app 5 stars maybe a year ago because all I really used it for was to check my balance, transfer checking to savings, and occasionally deposit a check. It worked great but now I can’t depend on it for mobile deposit because sometimes it will accept the check and others will get an error about the endorsement being incorrect. Nah, because it’s the same every time. I reached out to the bank and got a canned reply and zero help. Now, I have an account elsewhere JUST to deposit my checks because I live an hour away from any PFFCU branch. Sadness. I’ve had this PFFCU account since I was a kid, too.

Love this app. Recently just switched to this credit union and so far no complaints! The only thing I wish they would update in this app(so far) is to see scheduled credit card payments through the Credit card website within the app. For some reason, I can’t see the scheduled payments.

I love the app! The biggest issue I have it when I go to make a transfer is that it cuts off half of the amount in the account causing me to go back and forth between the “From” drop down to the amount I want to type in. If there is a way to make the table height bigger and/or wrap the text so we can see all the info that would be great!

Great institution, great services, great app! I truly love this Credit Union. They do not treat me second class because I am a woman. I once belonged to a different credit union that did. So glad I moved to this one. If the numbers add up, they will approve you. I could not be happier. I have tried to tell everyone I know who isn’t already a member to come over. Experience is believing!

I’ve had such great experiences with this bank, can’t ever say I’ve had any negative experiences at any of their branches. I’ve been banking with them for about 20 years now and use several other banks too (not sure why) and I must say when comparing credit unions to credit unions PFFCU wins hands down! Thanks guys & gals keep up the great work!

I’m glad that I’m able to see my account keep an eye on my deposits and my withdrawals. And to make sure nobody’s taking anything out of my account. To be able to deposit a check over the phone is great whether is eight in the morning or 12 o’clock at night. I never had a problem with the app.

This bank is a lifesaver because it takes care of its own, I am a retired police officer and I live in Texas so I am kind of limited in what I am entitled to(like purchase a car). They have carried me every since I joined over 50 plus years, don’t know how I would have made it without them,I appreciate them so much.
