Huge fan of Pic-Time, from the clean design of the app, to the super helpful support, not to mention the great gallery store tools, it has everything I need for my photo business!
I don’t understand how it wasn’t something that made compatible at launched with the phone version. Make it make sense. I was really hoping that last few updates would magically have this fixed but it doesn’t. I use pic time app on my iPad the most since it helps me not bog up my phone when creating instagram posting so having the functionality of not having to remove my iPad and turn it horizontal to use the app properly that would be amazing. I think creating the iPad version to have the ability to see the photographers backend with easier access would also greatly help. I have other ideas too so feel free to DM me on instagram
I always have issues logging in as I have two accounts I often have to switch between. There is no option to download web size vs high res. When downloading from app there is not gauge as to how many photos have already downloaded, how many there are left, if any have even downloaded, and when I go to check my camera roll to see if the download has worked it usually errors out and stops the download completely. So many issues. Pic-Time on my laptop from the web browser? Absolutely perfect. The Pic-Time app? Terrible and even worse since the update.
The app is really buggy. I wish it wasn’t! It gives me an error anytime I want to download photos from galleries in full res that have been up for over a few months. Also keeps making me log in. I reported the error issue to pic time a year or two ago. Still no fix. Reported the log in issue a couple weeks ago. They said delete and re download app. Didn’t fix the issue.
SUPER super hyped on the most recent app update. thank you, pic-time! for taking the time to really hear all the feedback and upgrade/elevate the experience tremendously. i love the new interface, everything feels very user friendly and seamless now. this is a game changer — thank you!
PicTime itself is AMAZING and I am a big fan. However, the app crashes every single time I use it. It’s always just a matter of when/howling before it sill crash. The app also doesn’t always download pictures after you wait forever for it to download and then think it has. Only to see NOPE all the work you have been downloading the past 30 mins. Is no where to be found. This app could be really awesome for on the go, quick downloading/picture sharing, but there’s no way I can depend on it at this point. I would love to be able to hop on download a few pictures and be done, or hope on and show my clients their galleries quickly, or flip through them myself with out knowing it will inevitably crash. Looking forward to these fixes. Thanks!
Had this app for years now and all of a sudden it is not working correctly.. this app is the only one that wont allow my iPad to change the screen orientation… meaning when i open the app connected to my keyboard, it should be in landscape, like it has been since i got the iPad… now it stays in portrait.. i have to turn the ipad in order to use the app.. and yes, it is the only app that is giving me issues.. no other app is doing it. Yes, i turned it on and off. Yes, i deleted the app and redownloaded it. So yes, its the app.
Seriously, how can the web version be great but on the phone/app version of pic-time is completely NOT USABLE!!! I pay for the yearly subscription and I’m furious how horrible this app is. Please make this better!! Make it be able to upload photographs and videos directly from phone to app. Make it even usable for the very basics!!! Nothing works. I’m very disappointed... I wish I could get a refund and use a completely different interface when working with clients.
I have used pic-time for years now and I love them but this app has to be the worst I’ve used. I’ll just get locked into different screens I have no way of getting out of. There is no forward and back button. The interface is odd and it just is all sorts of buggy. I would love to have a good app to use for you guys because I often need to access my account on my phone.
I’ve been a customer for years and I LOVE Pic-Time but I LOATHE the app. Please, please, please update and enhance it. My app with work for awhile then when I click on it moments later it freezes at a blank white screen. I’m constantly having to either restart my phone or uninstall and reinstall the app just to get it to function. I will be glad when I can one day come back and write a better review. Of the app.
App needs to be fully adeptes for mobile. It seems to be a watered down of the website. Can we please get more functionality such as a search bar to easily find galleries, enable copying link when sharing instead of only sharing through outher apps, etc. Also navigation within the app. Seem like when I get into a certain module it's hard to go back unless I close and reopen the app.
As a long time pic time user I’m grateful to have an app. But honestly the issues within the app make it almost not worth it. Soooo many things within the app make it not user friendly. And that’s IFFF you can even get the app to launch. Really hoping some fixes come soon cause it’s getting harder and harder to use it
Pic-time doesn’t offer a mobile view of the website so I figured I’d give the app a shot. I was shocked to sign in and click the menu to see a page that reads “Our photographer interface was designed to be viewed on a Desktop screen, and is not quite mobile-friendly. However, Client Galleries are fully compatible with mobile devices.” There’s practically zero point to install this app.
I want to love the app based on convenience since so many of my clients utilize their iPhones but there’s a lot to be desired. No way to send gallery links easily. Can’t search galleries. App constantly crashes and is not dependable. I hope the tech team takes these reviews into account and gives us photographers a better system.
This app needs all the work. I like the desktop version just fine so far, but this mobile app is about the work I’ve seen. I haven’t been able to make any setting changes. The app can’t decide if you should read it landscape or portrait- even though there is a pop up that says the site was created to be landscape.

This app could be so much better. The mobile component of Pic-Time’s website proves that. If they would fix all the bugs and make the app more powerful, I would happily amend this review. But for the time being, a 2 star review is somewhat generous.
Pic-Time is easily the most important tool to run my business. The website is so easy to use and exactly what I need. The app however, is struggling a bit. All I see are example galleries and the overall navigation is very poor. I’m sure you guys are working hard on this and are aware of some of the bugs so I’ll be waiting until you update it. Then I’ll be sure to give 5 stars!
I can’t get past the blank white screen and when I actually can, I get a message stating it’s not really mobile-friendly? What is that?! You have paying subscribers who deserve a functioning mobile option. And some kind of acknowledgement from the developers after all of these complaints would be nice.
I used to love this app and used it all the time, however one day my screen showed an error code saying I lost internet connection, and now it will not move from that page. I tried closing out of it, un-installing and re-installing, but nothing has come out of it. I also waited 2 weeks to re-install it again after several times of uninstalling and it still doesn’t work. I hope this issue gets worked out because I would love to continue to use it.
I was using the phone app for about a month and it was really nice to be able to view my galleries and download them from the app. Now when I open it the only thing I see is sample galleries. It’s completely useless now. Not sure if it needs a glitch update or what but something needs to change.
The will try to sell your photos printing them on products if they dont make enough profit your profile will be deleted. Do your research the are exact same scripts offered trough some other companies that will offer this service really for free. I think this company is just a reseller of that photo gallery. I spend lot of time uploading many photos just to be deleted:-(
As a photographer who pays hundreds of dollars for Pic-time each year, I literally don’t understand why they don’t have a functional mobile version of the photographer interface. Please, we beg of you, address this asap 🙏🏻
Yep the reviews are right - the app is horrible. Pointless and useless for the photographer who needs to do things on the backend of the galleries. Easier to just use safari and go to website. Please do a total update on your app, Pic-time! You’re a great company and this app is not representing you well at all.
Your App And Mobile Website Are So Broken It’s Not Funny
It’s 2021, why is your app and website so horribly bad? Pages don’t size correctly on iPhone (XR) and iPad Pro (2018). I can’t navigate easily and should I try to go into settings such as pricing, I can’t move the page to see print sizes and prices. Get with the times guys, I love Pic-Time but this is infuriating.
I am VERY frustrated. I am creating my galleries and then when I got to preview them all of my photos say hidden even though I definitely didn’t hide them. I didn’t have this issue the first time I made a gallery but now it is doing it and I’ve tried everything. Please someone help I am so upset about this.
I continually have to delete and reinstall this app as I will try to open it and it will just have a white screen until I delete and reinstall. When it works, it is great, but it so rarely does. Please fix it!
I try to open the app, but it immediately closes. There hasn’t been an update to the mobile app in over a year. Please make this app more mobile friendly and easy to use for photographers!
Reasons why this app needs an update: -Selecting images is delayed. -Unable to edit the album name. -Crashes when you press on the menu bar. -Unable to change privacy settings. -Downloading either takes forever or just doesn’t download. -Can’t copy the album link in order to share unless it’s email, Facebook, or What’s App. -Takes forever to load the images while scrolling through the gallery. -Crashes a lot and can’t use the app unless you quit it.
The application is not adapted: there is no way to send a gallery, there is no way to share a link to the gallery, many errors, in fact the application is not suitable for use, it is easier to use it through the browser.
Photographers, don’t waste your time downloading this app. I was hoping for a way to view orders, gallery analytics etc on the go, but this app is absolute garbage. It is basically just the web interface with little mobile optimization. You’re better off just going to the web.
I use Pic Time for my wedding client galleries and it’s a good service, albeit somewhat buggy. This app, however, needs to be pulled off the app store. It's unusable. It will throw up blank windows with no way out other than to quit the app and more. I logged in I saw my business come up AND the name of another photography business not associated with mine at all. Fortunately, I was not able to see the other businesses' work. This app should be an embarrassment to Pic Time and either be replaced or pulled off the market entirely.
For being a main tool for my business, it feels like I get kicked out of the app or it isn’t adapted to mobile, more than it helps me… I think it could be reinvented a little and would be an unbeatable tool for all photographers
Why don’t you make a version of the app where photographers can edit the gallery setup? Or give them an option to share from the app? Also, downloading the photos from a clients perspective is so obnoxious

Unfortunately most the time only 1-2 albums will show up. Most gallery platforms have great apps. I’d love for pic time to work on this. I think I’m this tech era it would be wise as a business to smooth the app out more.
Reading other reviews and from 2 years ago it’s similar to my experience now? ! Get it together pic-time !!! Love the web version but gosh get the app up to par !
This is my favorite gallery website and I wanted an easy way to download my photos on my phone. It shows me all my galleries, but won’t allow me to download them. I am super bummed and wished it worked!
I love using pic-time for desktop, but the app doesn’t work at all. I’m logged in but when I go to my galleries it says “pick your photographer” and has sample galleries not my own :( Don’t have the option to really do anything within the app.
The pc site is great but mobile I don’t see any of the features that the pc version has. It says to upload photos I need to use the pc. What is the point of the app then?
It’s a pain in the butt to download photos. You have to press the download button multiple times before it actually downloads. It’s hard to go back from one gallery to get to all of them. You have to close out of the app first. Just to a name a few of the issues.
