Great game except need more ways to get tokens

This is a fantastic and challenging game BUT, it needs a way to get more tokens so, we can play more games!!! As a rule, will not let you get enough tokens to play more than one game per day which is very frustrating. As a general rule, it will allow you to watch 5 ads at 5 tokens each for a total of 25. Sometimes it will do a few more and sometimes a few less(GRRR)... it does not give enough to play much at all... I did notice on Christmas and on New Year’s Day that I was able to watch ads for a long time and amass a lot of tokens which were greatly appreciated and I have been enjoying playing the extra games as a result, so, thank you!!! Please do it more often, please!!!

Interesting way to play crossword

I have been a fan since their last series. The pictures that are provided as clues are gorgeous and full of hints. They are very detailed so I’ve learned to look closely. Different subjects for every puzzle. This series has a British slant to the words which I find interesting because I am not a Brit but I’m learning from the terms. I’ve actually had to Google “what is the British term for...”. And I’ve learned from it. All in all a great game.

It’s a great game, but...

You have to watch videos to get tickets since you’re ticket limit is 10 and at the point I’m at you need 20+ tickets to play a level. Which is fine, except there’s a 50% chance that after you watch the video the screen will go black, so you have to close the app. But when you reopen it, you didn’t get the tickets and you can’t watch another video (you can only watch two videos at a time, and a lot of the time if it happens the first time, it’ll happen the second time as well). I’m so bummed whenever it happens because I love playing this game and I can’t play any levels with only 10 tickets.

Still waiting!!!

I LOVE this game and played it every day however I’ve been unable to enjoy it now for more than 6 mo as I’ve completed ALL levels! I keep checking to see if there’s any updates with levels and there hasn’t been for along time which is really disappointing! Especially since I’ve been known to purchase clues quite often. So I’m spending money as well! Wish I knew when the next set of levels would be released so I’ll know when to upgrade! I would rate this as a 5 but I’m consistently running out of levels!

Carol's Review of Crossword

The pictures give an added meaning to the play. Seeing the pictures makes you think of one particular word, only to work through the steps and find you were so wrong! This is a fun way to spend some down time. It is expensive for me because I will go on a three hour binge and my coins fly out the door.

Come on, more games please!!!!!

I love this game but now there are no more puzzles to play. What the heck. It says to update for more games but I did and nothing happened. I’ve never had a game that ran out of puzzles at game 38??? I’d give it at least 4 stars because I do like the game except that you don’t get a lot of chances to get more tokens which you need to play. Unless of course you want to spend a fortune to buy them, which I won’t! Guess I will delete it if more games don’t show up soon.

Picture puzzles

Interesting crossword picture puzzle game. Some pictures are interesting to say the least - they make no sense to me. But I have learned some new words and their definitions from this game. Look forward to playing every day. But I can't seem to keep enough tokens to play as much as I want. Still enjoying your game every day. I really like the addition of the puzzles “topic” at the end of each puzzle.

Picture perfect puzzle

I cannot get the game to load any puzzles & although I have internet/WiFi where ever I go - I can only play the daily puzzle when I away from my home - the daily puzzle will not play when I’m inside my house and as I said I have the internet - love the game but it won’t play

Pretty Cool Crossword

This is a different take on your regular crossword puzzle. It's pretty fun, but some of the words are. It ones that are regularly used in America. Wondering if maybe the developer is British? Anyway, don't use too many of your coins on hints or you'll soon be without any! Enjoy playing enough to visit every day to at least play the picture of the day puzzle.

Love the game

Love the unique playing style. Often run out of enough tokens but that’s ok, just start playing again the next day. I wish I could get the most recent version but for 2 weeks now I click on the get update and then open but do not get the game

Love the changing pictures

Much more fun than the one picture crossword plus you have to guess the categories at the end. Each picture per line is good variety which makes it more enjoyable than other crossword puzzles. It is one of my favorites. Thanks!

Love It Now

I stopped playing this for a while and recently went back to it and I am loving it more. I can't put my iPad down to stop playing! Also it's so easy to get 50 coins FREE from just watching a video. I HIGHLY recommend this game if you are into puzzles and word puzzle games!

Need new puzzles

I love this game but I finished all the puzzles a long time ago. It’s been close to a year since there has been any new tables. If new puzzles were constantly being available then I would give this a 5 star.

Finished the game

Will there be anymore puzzles added. I have reached the end and am hoping for more. Great game. Getting tokens to play is a little rough. 5 tokens for watching an ad so I can play a game requiring 30-40 or more tokens. 😞. Patiently waiting…

Good for older people

They say that working the brain is a good thing. Picture Perfect Crossword provides letters to the puzzle and trying to unscramble them is just what the brain needs. It also reacquaints us with the names of things we have perhaps forgotten. It is also addictive........very!

Great game

I like this game because it’s fun to play. Watching videos to get tokens can be cumbersome, but it pays off. I will usually leave my device from the ad is playing and play on another device. I hope they make the game smoother in the future (make the letters less mechanical.

Enjoyable

It’s not bad and not terribly hard. Some of the pictures are a little goofy and don’t really match up to what they are trying to get across, but you have the power of the internet in your hands. It’s a nice game to play when you have a few minutes of down time or before going to bed.

Great game

This is so different from other crossword puzzles and it can be quite challenging even when there's a picture. Trying to figure some of these really takes work. Thanks to the team who came up with this one.

Warning!

This game has an excessive amount of ads. I am willing to deal with the ads, but the constant glitch of the game bringing me to the App Store automatically is extremely frustrating. When this happens all I can do is close the app out entirely and reopen and even then sometimes it doesn’t help. The game is entertaining. The category phrase can be a little ridiculous at times. The picture of the week is a good addition.

Just the right challenge

At first I thought this was going to be too easy, but it is really challenging. The fact that I am American and many of the terms are British makes it more difficult, but it is also teaching me some things.

I'm not going to keep paying to play this game

I really like this and I have been playing some every day for the last week. As with others you earn coins for hints but here's the bad part. You also have to have tokens to play each puzzle. You earn a few here and there but I have now reached the point where it will not let me play any more unless I buy tokens. Nope, not going to happen. I just deleted the game.

So much fun!

I really enjoy this game. It helps to keep your mind fresh. I like how it has made me so aware of many things. I’ve gain more knowledge of many things. I love this game. Waiting for more puzzles. Thanks for making the puzzles workable, it’s enjoyable.

So far.....much fun

I'm only 5 days into this game but am enjoying it so far. I'm learning new words. Had to wait for new puzzles, but they are here now😊I must really enjoy this game because once again I needed to wait a month for new puzzles....but I came back when they were available

Last Update Awful

Love this game BUT the last update was awful. Now the game won’t open - it tries but just shuts down - if the developer is reading this - please fix this - can’t play the game - I’ve tried twelve times this morning. I’m running iOS 15.0.2 and this game currently has trouble with this OS. 😟

Fun but low tokens

A lot of fun but annoying that you can only accumulate up to 10 tokens over time compared to the number of tokens needed for each game. Can only play once maybe twice a day without buying tokens or watching videos.

Fun game!

I'm having a blast playing this! I love crosswords and this is unique with the pictures. Some are quite difficult so it can be challenging. Wish they would update more often. With new update, though, they don't give you a "free" puzzle when you first open it.

Fun but not enough!

I love this game! My only problem is I finished chapter 38 months ago and am still waiting for more. I’ve looked for updates and new games but I haven’t found any. Please hurry and develop more!

Same as Oneclue Crossword

I used to play one clue crossword but solved all of them. Somehow there was a link to this puzzle. It is essentially the same game. You have to watch a lot of ads to play for free but it’s a good way to pass the time. Very addicting.

Interesting pictures

A fun way to do crossword puzzles. The pictures are fun and sometimes challenging with a learning factor too. There are times I want to learn more about some pictures and research them.

Great Puzzle Game

It’s just challenging enough to not be frustrating. I enjoy playing. Only downside is it’s pretty much impossible not to pay for tokens. Would definitely download again!

Update!!

When will you be doing another update?? At this point, the only thing I can do, is the Picture of the Week. Love the game, but plan to delete the app if I’ve reached the end of your development.

Great word game

I love word games and this is both easy yet challenging on different levels. So fun to play. I just wish you needed less tokens to move to the next level. A lot of fun! Offer more tokens and coins for free!

Fun game

Still waiting on version update 2.6. The last time we received new chapters was over a month ago, that was chapters 35 and 36. It’s a great game to play and challenging, so it would be nice to have the new chapters to play the game. I’ve sent multiple emails and nobody wants to respond.

I'm enjoying it very much. Lots of fun Had an issue with the game not loading but it's okay now. Still enjoy the game Sometimes game won’t open and I have to delete it and restart it Love the game

Like game, don't like limited tokens

Despite the game using a few words that I've never heard of (cultural differences due to European developers?) I enjoy this game. I am reaching a point where I won't get to play as much because the token price of new games will exceed what I can earn. That is unfortunate. 😞

Can’t stop playing

This game makes you think, which is great for me since I’m a senior citizen. I can spend hours on the puzzles and not even realize how much time has gone by. I recommend this game 100%.

picture perfect crossword

Love this game, just wish that there was more of it that is free. It can be challenging by times, but if you stop and think about the picture, most of them can be solved without hints. If you would try it you just might get hooked.

Best picture crossword game

Addictive! Be prepared to have all your time taken from you.. you can never stop at just one puzzle. Daily puzzles are always fun!!

Enjoy it but needs a fix

Enjoy the game. But sometimes it freezes up after an ad and you lose the tokens and coins you are supposed to get!!

I have done all 20 chapters and waiting for more. Was there more puzzles added on May 17th cause if so I never received the update. Love this game but have been waiting a long time for more puzzles.

Pic words

I love this twist on crosswords. The pictures really help but the limit on the tokens needs to go up. I am on levels that u need at least 21 tokens to do your daily but I don’t have the tokens

Love this game

The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because I’ve finished all the levels. I was hoping they would make more as now the only options are to replay puzzles and complete the word of the day.

Yikes! Addictive.

I can't stop playing this game. The pictures are challenging enough to keep me guessing. Every day I'm ready to see what new challenge awaits me. I love that new updates are quickly posted. I enjoy the new challenge of figuring out the categories.

This game makes me think. If I don’t an answer I can get out and look it up. It definitely helps me improve my spelling skills and I learn something I didn’t know every time I play.

Really like it!

This game is super addictive and challenging the higher you get in each level. It also allows the player to earn free coins and tickets/double coins and tickets fairly easy which makes for fairly easy game play!

Alternative to regular crossword puzzles

I love all types of word games. This one combines words and pictures to provide a bit more challenge. It has made me stretch my vocabulary as these are not normal crosswords. Nice change.
