Deceptively Fun
You download this game and think to yourself “Ah yes, another town building game that I’ll get bored of in a few hours. Cool, cool. At least I know what I’m getting into.” You sit down to play it, and - like many - realize it’s not as straightforward and simple as most other town building games, which is actually one of the greatest pros of this game. Instead of advancing to having to wait FOREVER with just a few hours of game play, the wait times are kept low because of the limitation of space. You’ll have to create workers and save up money to buy expansions to let your town grow. In the meantime, you can get coins and other special items through clever ‘mini-games’, such as finding hearts in your houses or getting coins from special trees. It’s great if you just want a few minutes to kill, or need something to keep you occupied for hours on end. The game is great, and honestly one of the first games of its kind that I haven’t downloaded after a day or two of playing. On top of that, the pixel art is freaking beautiful! Compliments to the artist(s) because everything looks gorgeous! Can’t wait to see how big my town can grow and how many jobs I can uncover!

Only fun at first
I’ve played this game for years, and I’ve now hit a wall. While there are plenty of jobs left to create, and I continue to be surprised by the humor, cleverness, and fun building designs in this game, there is a major flaw in later gameplay. The land usage and land expansions are laughably expensive for the money you are making, where it will cost 50+ million for a land expansion (with a discount from a high spirit level!) and be making about 1 million a day. This would mean that it would take you 50 days or more to save up for a small land expansion. Then, if you manage to actually save this up, you barely get any new land. The reason this is so problematic is because land is what allows you to play the game at all. Once you are out of land, you can’t make new jobs or splice new people, because either the job requires land, or you need more housing. If you do manage to save up and expand, you only get about 2 days of actual gameplay before the land is out again (because many jobs require a great deal of land, as does the real estate). I’m very close to deleting the game at this point, just because it is useless and boring at this later stage. It’s a bummer and something I wish they would fix, because I otherwise love the game!

Amazing Game
First of all I never play mobile games and this is the first review I have wrote for one purely because I feel like this game deserves it. I’ve seen bad free mobile games. Some full of adds or gross amounts of in app purchases. Obviously they have to make money somehow but it seems ridiculous at times. When I downloaded this game it blew me away. First of all, you can progress very easily without spending a penny. Obviously if you want the game to go faster you can spend money but it isn’t really necessary. None of the wait times in the game are to bad. I haven’t had any over about 10 minutes in the couple hours I’ve played it. So you can easily put it down wait 5 minutes and have 20 minutes worth of things to do when you get back. The adds are here but they aren’t forced and are used only to speed up wait times. The gameplay of this game seems confusing at first but you learn very quickly. The gameplay is a fun and a refreshing change from the normal city builder games. Overall this game deserves 5 stars and if you are looking for a free game to spend some time on and get immediately hooked, I would without a doubt recommend this game.

Love the game so here is some suggestions
1st off I love this game so much, i normally never review but this time I am because I really do love this game oh so much!!! 2nd these suggestions are not for bugs or I think something is wrong I just want to help improve the game even more so more people will see how amazing it is and it being even more awesome than it is!!! Suggestions: 1: Organize the genetics a bit better because it is a bit confusing and time consuming going through them all then all over again on another side 2: Add some bonus mini games to earn some money or I can’t remember what they are called but the rare money 3: also If you add some quests/objectives to earn some more things Because sometimes it feels filling up a work space is not worth it 4: I think the cost for revealing genetics is too expensive but perhaps if you added more ways to get more money ( Other suggestions ) it would be A lot better 5: I can’t remember what I was going to put here so oh well Thank you for reading and hope you take what I said into consideration and people who are looking to see if this is a good game I definitely recommend it!!

Latest update is money grab
Prior to the latest patch, this was a great game. They have been working through the same updates that they had on the prior iOS versions which also means that they’ve been fixing bugs in the same order. The game has an innovative gameplay and plenty of humor. Unfortunately, the latest update massively reduces the effectiveness of a particular investment that players make into Spirit. Spirit reduces the cost and time it takes for buildings to be built and speeds up how quickly clones arrive. You get spirit by using your premium currency to build Decor, which also uses up your limited land space that is available. Update 1.3 both increases the amount of Spirit required to get the same effect. These increases further scale as you go up in levels, requiring more and more spending of premium currency to get the same Spirit effects. To give you a sense, I used to need 56 Spirit to get a 50% effect, and now I need 156. If I used premium currency both to expand my land and build more Decor to get back to the 50% effect, in dollar value, that would cost $6 to do. Pixel People is a great game, but I’m disappointed by this change. I would have been more supportive if Pixel People asked for money upfront or even for donations. But changing mechanics just to increase profits doesn’t sit well with me.

Favorite City-Building App of All Time
Pixel People is by far the best building app I've played. With cute graphics, lots of interesting buildings, and clear leveling/upgrading. The system of the game is also amazing. Not only are ads optional and used to speed up building and splicing times, the game never forces you to fall back on this (as long as you're patient). The currency (both utopium and regular in-game cash) are excellently distributed and handled, even giving you a way to convert utopium into your regular cash. Expanding gets harder the longer you play as the price goes up, but that's great! Every game should have some aspect increasing in difficulty and, for this game, it's expanding cost and splice times. None of which hinders my experience/enjoyment. Now, let's talk about what inspired me to make this review. In the most recent patch, they fixed a lot. Some stuff which might've hindered your gameplay. And, to make up for this, the dev team included a 50 utopium package. Unlike 90% of mobile games, Pixel People's dev team cares. If you enjoy building cities and designing city plans, then this game is for 100% for you!

Great game, a few suggestion.
The game is great! I love how quickly things work, and how smooth it is. You aren’t waiting around to do anything, as there is always something to click whether you are restarting your cash production or tapping the houses. I also enjoy that ads aren’t shoved down your throat, and I’m more than happy to watch a few 30 second ads to knock of 6 hours of wait time on a build. However I do wish that some mechanics were a little different. The genetic screen can be little bit of a hassle when I’m searching for a specific one to create or filling a position. I also don’t like the way creating 2x2 waterways works. I’d like to make lakes, except they always have a tiny island in the middle. It’s not that big of a deal, but it does ruin the aesthetics that could possibly be built in this game, and that’s why I love so much about these types of city builder games. There just aren’t enough aesthetics to the game at the moment. I would really love to see fields of wheat that I could put around my farms, or giant spanning meadows to fill in the spaces in between my little towns.

This Game is Definitely worth Your Time
I can’t say enough good things about this game. It’s engaging, the art and design is gorgeous, and compared to other “real time” building games of its ilk it doesn’t have an insane time curve, where you start and everything takes five minutes and then when you get farther it takes days. Everything has a set time it takes to build that doesn’t change no matter how many of them you buy, and it’s fairly quick and keeps you coming back more and more. The one thing I would ask for is the option to take everything off the map and be able to place things where you want them in order to design your city a little bit easier, sort of like Clash of Clans base editor if you need an example. Other than that, this Game is a nearly flawless experience that I cannot recommend enough.

Overall great fun, but one big problem
I’ve had this app for about 8 months now and I’m still really enjoying it. The wait times do get longer for adding more land the further in you get, but it doesn’t bother me as much as I thought it would. And they’re very fair with giving you enough of the premium currency to keep you engaged with the game if you’re willing to put the work in for it. My only big problem is with the missions. They require animals to complete, sometimes from a certain category and sometimes a specific animal is needed. Sometimes I’ll want to save a specific animal for a mission, but I’ll be trying to complete multiple missions and one mission will be asking for that one animal I need for another mission even though I have other animals that can fill the same roll. I wish there were a way to choose the animal you want for each mission instead of the game choosing for you and forcing you to use it. Even just adding a way to shuffle them would be super helpful. I hope you guys add something like this in a future update, because that’d save me so much trouble.

Amazing game, Frustrating bugs
This is one of the best, most well-executed mobile games I’ve played. There are so many tiny, thoughtful details that made me think, “these developers really care and know how to craft a great game.” However, I’ve recently run across a bug that has halted all progress and enjoyment of the game. I wanted to replace some of my older residences with more efficient ones, so I began moving people to the hotel, deleting the old buildings, creating new ones, and moving them back out of the hotel. Everything appeared to work great until I exited the game and returned to find that the new building (and its inhabitants) was missing, as well as the utopium and money I paid for it. So I rebuilt the residence and as soon as it was completed, I opened it and found that it was full of the people I thought I’d lost (although now I’d paid twice for it). The first time it happened, I figured it might just have been a one-time occurrence. But now I’ve lost three Shiny Towers the same way and I’m sadly throwing in the towel because I can’t seem to create any new buildings that persist between sessions.

An excellent twist on the free-to-play genre
This has been a great game so far- picked up the game for a plane ride and was surprised to say that I was able to enjoy playing this without the need for buying any additional credits for cash like most other free-to-play games. In fact, when the randomized event came which offered a generous amount of credits for 1.99. I readily took that offer up because I enjoyed the game so much. (I normally will never pay for in game digital currency) The addition of the "doodle God" like mix and match cloning system was a great move, kept the game interesting for much longer. I am around halfway through the game, and the addictibeness of the gameplay has subsided as the opportunities to skip build times has slipped down. I am hopeful new features can be added in the late game to spice things up a bit. Some points of the game that could be improved: no rotation of buildings, the hearts system seems pointless/annoying, and there is no way to construct a bridge over water (that I've found so far).

Well paced in beginning, but you quickly hit a wall
After discovering 200 jobs (roughly half the clones possible) I’ve hit a wall. I used to have fun discovering new jobs and buildings daily, but now I have to choose between grinding for days or paying real $$$ to unlock anything new. I’ve completely unlocked and maxed out everything possible I can that’s free. It’s been fun! But I have to delete the game now. To unlock anything new I have been grinding and saving up in game currency for 3 days at a time. Then repeat. I’ve come to the point where I realize that it will only get harder from here as the next clone mission just cause more and more to complete. It will never be easier or take less time unless I spend real money. Yet, the price for buying just a little bit of in game cash is too high. I’ve thought about spending a little money often, but what’s the point? It’d take hundreds of dollars to unlock the rest of the clones. I loved playing this game so much, but I’ve hit a wall and it’s over.

Game is great but...
The game is very addicting and fun but I have a few complaints and suggestions. There should be a way that I don't accidentally exceed the land limit. This would disallow me to place roads, which usually wouldn't cost land or expansion. When are the school of magic spells going to get stronger? I'd really like to be able to rotate my buildings in all directions. Here's a suggestion, maybe there can be an in-game online trading service with animal genes. We could bet utopium, chroma, coins, or lesser rare animals. This would make it a little easier to complete missions. I would try hard to get tier 1 animals but instead I would recieve tier 2 animals. Final suggestion, should we be able to pin things we want to buy with chroma before it refreshes (maybe with a cost to pin). That's all I really had to say. I really enjoy your game. Been playing it for years and love it to bits. ALSO THE AUDIO LEVELS ARE WAY TOO LOUD MY EARS HIRT EACH TIME I ACCIDENTALLY OPEN IT WITH HEADPHONES CONNECTED.

Addicting, but frustrating
I can't even explain why this game is so addicting, but it just is. However there are a few things that go unexplained and I have no idea what they are for, like what is chroma?? What is the purpose of collecting animals?? What are the different seasons for?? I just find this game so addicting that it starts to get frustrating when I can only open the game for a couple of minutes at a time until I can no longer do anything. The cost of land increases drastically without ever changing how much land you get from each upgrade, the time it takes to make a clone, to splice them, and to build buildings gets so high that it starts to get boring. If there was a minute wait on everything, I'd never stop playing this game... Which is probably why they increase the wait time. But more than likely they just do it to give people a reason to spend real money on the game. That's fair, considering the lack of forced ads.

Classic
Really glad to see this game back on the App Store, it’s a fun and interesting combo of town builder and clicker. The job combining system is especially cool and I haven’t seen any other games that do it the same way. In case the developer reads these, I wanted to mention a minor bug - sometimes a translucent image of a building will remain after it had been moved/deleted, and nothing seems to get rid of it. I’ve only had it happen with Rocky Mansions so far. If you place another building in the same spot, they are superimposed on each other. These residences can also get the hearts over them, even though they aren’t real, so you can’t interact with it. I’ve had it happen twice. Not a serious problem, just a little annoying. Anyway this game rules, I hope a sequel or at least some new jobs for this one are in the works!

love the game but SO MANY GLITCHES
I’ve been playing this game for a few months, occasionally encountering a minor glitch. However for some reason my game is totally bugged now. At both the animal shelter and the utopium mine, the timers count down like normal but when they reach 0, they restart instead of allowing me to mine for utopium or adopt an animal. Additionally, two days ago I harvested the maximum amount of utopium from my trees and waited for the timer to reset so I could start again. However, when the timer reached 0, my trees still say 25/25. It has been two days and I still cannot get utopium from them because it thinks I have already gotten the max for some reason. So, at this point, the only way for me to get utopium is through expanding, which is obviously ridiculously expensive, making the game essentially unplayable as I need utopium to complete missions and get more genes. Also WHY would the max spirit for my town be 645 when I only have 450 land????? Makes no sense. Please fix these issues!

Need new update
I’ve been playing this game off and on for years! It is fun and complex. It definitely takes a lot of time and patience if you can’t spend real money on it but it’s worth the wait. I also love all of the puns and play on words. It is very clever. However, it looks like it has been a couple of years since the game was last updated… I would love to see some new decor, terrain, pathways. It would be nice to have just plain sand or dirt terrain. Hiking trails or walking paths would be super cool. There is also decor that I once had many years ago that I still have not figured out what happened to it - things like plazas 1,2, and 3… they are not available in my decor shop but I can’t find anything online as to why or how to get them. I only see that they are listed as basic decor so it seems like they should be there. Maybe they don’t exist anymore? Idk.

Fun until a point
I really like this game - it’s simple, fun, and you won’t find another game like it in the App Store. The artwork is beautiful and it’s fun discovering new professions. However, the further you go in the game the less you’re able to play. You have to buy land in order to progress in the game and you use that land to place houses and job sites. You only get 10 land tiles every time you expand and the cost of expanding increases at an absolutely ridiculous rate. It takes days to earn enough gold to expand and then you use up all of that land so quickly. So you really only get 1 fun day of gameplay. This game isn’t exciting enough to make me want to wait days or even weeks at a time in between “real” gameplay. It’s disappointing because I like this game otherwise, but I think the balance is really off. I wish they’d fix the cost of expanding but I doubt they will. If they did I’d absolutely keep playing.

Reduce cost of expansions, please!
This game is SO FUN - in the beginning. It has a gorgeous, addicting interface and quick gameplay. I loved it! It didn’t take too much time to save up coins to level up and get more land for expansion. But all of that changes once you advance in the game. It has taken me three days to gain enough coins to advance from level 9 to level 10. That’s three days of me opening the app just to tap on blue lightning bolts. I can’t do anything else because I’m out of land. Nothing. Zip. Nada. And once I do save up 2.5 million coins to level up? I get 10 measly pieces of land, and then have to start the whole process over again. But the next time it will probably take me 5 days to get the amount of coins needed. To the developers - please reduce the amount of coins needed to level up and consider increasing the amount of land given. You have an imaginative, fresh game that has huge potential. I *want* to keep playing, but I’m losing interest fast.

Great concept, but notably buggy.
I paid $1.99 to get some utopium and coins to get things rolling. The game ran pretty well in its early stages but, as of late, it has been crashing quite frequently. Even more concerning, I have been moving residents into the hotel to delete old houses and build new houses with higher occupancy to save land. The game will take my coins and utopium, build the house, increase my occupied land, but states I cannot move residents into work positions because there is purportedly not enough space. I decided to close the game out and reload it, and the numbers remained the same in terms of coins, utopium, and land, but now the buildings were missing (and in one instance, a residential building I had removed some time ago had appeared in its old place). I’m pretty frustrated having spent money on this game and now having lost a considerable amount of utopium while simply trying to optimize my use of land. There are a lot of aspects of this game I enjoy, but I’m left feeling disappointed overall as a result of these issues.

Outstanding Game
I had pixel people on my phone back when it was released, and it was a great game. Recently, I discovered the game was back up and running and I almost jumped out of my seat. The game is almost the exact same, with a few little differences here and there. I mostly agree with all the changes, but I am mad about a few. I got the arcade and I tried to go and get a free spin at it, and they don’t allow it anymore. This really depressed me because I was hoping to go there and spin to unlock the glass house, and since there’s no spinning at the arcade, there is no chance at me getting the glass house. I don’t know if the glass house can be unlocked any other way, and so I wish that they could have kept the arcades features. Overall, the game is still great and I enjoy having it back on my phone again.

So Addicting!
When I first started playing, it was a little slow. I had to just wait to get coins in order to build more residences, which took a while since I wasn’t earning a lot of money. However, then the game started to escalate very quickly. I was making so many combinations and had so many job positions that were waiting to be built. I was constantly building residences and splicing. I do have a few suggestions though. First, when trying to recreate jobs that you already have, I wish you were able to just click one button for that job, without having to know the combination. Second, when painting residences, I wish there was an easier way than just clicking through so many options. I want some of my building to be either the same color palette or the same exact look, but I can never seem to do that. Overall, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this game.

Love this game but...
Love the game. Played it years ago, went back to play and when I did, it was removed from the App Store and then eventually came back. Confused why some features are missing? Trading animals feature is gone, which makes it significantly hard to get animals you need for missions. I think it would be beneficial to change how the random animals thing works. It’s really hard to complete missions when you need a dragon and spend all day popping hearts for chickens. The only real downside to the game in my opinion is the fact that animals are hard to obtain. Also, claw game feature is gone and apparently you used to be able to put clones in the altar to move them around for housing? Would love some insight on this. Overall very satisfied, very difficult not to spend money when you just want to do as much as you can at once. Very addicting

Super fun! BUT has room for more
So, I’m just going to tell you what I think could be improved instead of all that blah blah blah your game is great (it is) part at the beginning 1. You could have alien attacks. Defending your place could give you about 10,000 coins or 3 utopium or something. Failing could take away 1,000 coins 2. At the houses, if they (houses) are full with people, then they have a chance of randomly spawning a baby. The baby can randomly find things like 50 to 100 coins and (very rarely) 1 utopium. They can also boost spirit by a random amount. 3.So, in the shop, you can exchange utopium for coins. Maybe you can also give coins for utopium 4. That’s all if you respond or update this way I will know you read this a send more. Also if you respond how do I know what you say because I can never find my review thing anyways bye

I enjoy playing but...
I love playing, it has a creative style and mechanics I’ve never seen before but I have some smaller issues. There needs to be some way to turn off the sound effects. I’m personally really sensitive to sound and entering back in to hear ten different effects playing over each other at max volume hurts. It also is slightly annoying when I’m going through things like the stadium to hear the same sound effect again and again when I’m just trying to see what jobs are needed. My only other complaint is that there needs to be an easier way to splice for something I already have. I know I need a firefighter but I have to dig through the menus to find what’s needed to make it then dig through the splice menus to find those jobs to splice. It’s kinda tedious. Other than that I absolutely adore playing this game and highly recommend it!

A lot of fun!
I’m having a lot of fun playing this app. But I have a couple things I think could easily improve the gameplay and experience. First of all it’s really annoying to purchase multiple roadways and I think we should be able to buy multiple at once and place them down. I would also like a social aspect where we can add friends maybe from Facebook or just from the game where we can see each other‘s town. It is also hard to know whether we need multiple of a type of person and if you accidentally allocate a worker to the wrong area it’s hard to find that same worker again to put them in a different place. it is also hard to know if you need multiples of a certain person. But besides these bugs and features I’m having a lot of fun!

Love it
I love this game. This is the second time I’ve downloaded this game and it’s just as fun as I remember last time. After playing for a couple days, I also remembered why I deleted it the first time. The longer you play, the longer the timers are. I went from about 3 minutes to get a new citizen to splice up to 12. Of course you can take an hour off with an ad, or pay U to speed it up. This is typical of any tycoon game these days. I spend so long waiting for the next thing to do, I end up just closing the app and doing something else until I get to the point where I play it so little, I just delete it like I did before. I like playing this game but I don’t wanna spend real money or constantly watch ads just to play it. Maybe add more things to do in the game as well? Mini games to help pass the time? Lower the timers in general? I’ll probably end up deleting the game soon as it’s gotten kind of boring.

Fun game but what the heck
This is a really fun game, there’s always something to do to move things along. I have an issue with the missions though, and can’t find help for it anywhere... It’s difficult enough to get specific animals for missions, but I’m working on the mission “brute force” which requires a wild animal and a blue whale. I have only one blue whale in my inventory, but I have tons of wild animals that are freed up. Well, the blue whale is stuck in the wild spot and the blue whale spot is empty.... there’s no way for me to move the animals around and I tried deleting the pod and rebuilding it. It’s frustrating to have no way to decide where the animals go, feeling like the game wants to screw me over and makes it that much more difficult to finish missions. If I could move the animals around, that would make me so much happier

Fun & fast glitch repair
I was having trouble after a few days, where I could not place houses anymore, but I wrote a review and it was quickly fixed. It’s very simplistic and easy to play. I play it while listening to audio books, as it’s one of the few apps that does not cut off your sound when you open the app. The only problem I have with it is how there doesn’t seem to be a tech support button to report glitches. It would be so much easier to just tap a report bug button, and send a bug report about something like how the university building’s end piece covers up buildings in-front of it, which it should not do.

Good game but some flaws
great idea for a game but some flaws: 1the amount of animals makes it take forever to progress when there’s that one animal you need so either have less animals or missions can specifically give you a type or tier of animal 2it’s a pain to have to manually activate all your buildings every time you log on so maybe a mission or something you unlock that allows you to click one button to activate all of your buildings would be nice 3bring back all the cool powers that certain buildings had before the game went dead, they made it more exciting to discover new things rather than every new building now not really altering the game much 4the decorations especially shoreline don’t really work well with many designs so either create more decor or allow buildings to be rotated (ik they can be reflected but that often isn’t enough)

Almost Perfect
Utopium income never grows but the cost of things that require it and the uses of it do. At around 190 land most of this game becomes waiting on trees to refresh. The concept is so fresh though, I just wish it didn’t feel like the developers were so hungry for my money. Would much rather prefer a mandatory 3 dollar pay wall than the choice of micro transactions or a cap of 40 mins of play time a day. Also there’s so many more jobs out there but they choose to focus on themes and animals like come on bruh. Bounty hunter, bomb squad, navigator, Madison man, bellhop, there so many more but new jobs come in like one every couple months *They literally removed the effects of the telephone company and arcade which were two supplemental ways to get more premium as you level up. No reason to get rid of these effects other than greediness

Fav Sim Game- Can't Save, Though
This is one of my fav sim games. It's got different components to it (splicing genes, arranging buildings, harvesting from trees) so there's always something to do for whatever mood I'm in. The graphics are adorable. The game mechanics are easy to grasp and all build on each other simply enough. There's nothing too confusing. There's even a way to get the premium currency for free a little at a time without ads, but I recommend hoarding it. The only downside is that this can't be linked to any social media account or to Game Center, so the game is stuck to one device. I've got a beautiful game on my iPad, but I'll be sad to see it go. I'm not sure I'll play this again if I have to get a new iPad after so many hours lost. That said, the game is fun and always happy, so 4/5.

Slow grind unless you pay real money
I’ve always enjoyed world building type games and I actually really like the concept and art style of this game. I really like the gene splicing and trying to create every type of worker the game has. And also that you completely move around and reorganize your town at any time Is a huge plus. But to the reason I give this three stars. After a few days of playing it the waiting game for buildings to be built and especially for your money to generate high enough to expand so you can keep making new people gets to be way too long and tedious. Unless your willing to fork out real money this game gets really boring really fast because there’s nothing to do but check on your town a few times a day and wait. If the waiting and grinding weren’t sooooo long I’d definitely give this game a higher rating.

It’s a really great game but there’s one problem
So I’ve been playing this game a few weeks and I’ve enjoyed it a lot but there’s is one thing. Call me impatient but I’m pretty sure almost anyone can relate, I wanna upgrade or expand so I can get more clones to create more job Er people with jobs. But the amount of money to spend to be able to do that now takes like 2 or 3 days which I know makes me seem impatient but it’s just to long which ruins the fun, which leads me to ask like maybe can you add more space when we expand like instead of 10 space more like 20 30 or maybe even 40 space, or the more times you level up or expand you get more and more space. I just thought that might be a big problem for some people like me so I decided to shout that part out.

Great game, however...
Game is fun: getting to mix and match different careers to see what you get is nice and creative. Small puns and jokes keep you entertained and it’s a great game for people who love collecting items. However, after reaching level 10 or so, (100 land) the game becomes fairly unbalanced, pushing the user to spend on coins to be able to move along. The coins/minute rate is incredibly slow which forces you to leave the game afk. This would be okay if and you didn’t have to constantly interact with the game by having to energize your buildings. This is so unbalanced. Game devs: why not focus on a monthly subscription or paying for random genes? Target collectibles, not the gameplay itself. You’ll lose players this way as they grow tired of having to stay all the time on the game reenergizing buildings to sloooooooowly get their coins up.

Very fun!
This game is extremely addicting. I absolutely love the concept of splicing clones and is so much fun discovering new clones. This game has some good replay-ability and I can’t to wait play every day. I do have some suggestions though. I think your animals should be able to walk across the town a bit more. Because mine get stuck at the same tree despite me putting more everywhere else. I think decorations shouldn’t take land up, as expanding is already a bit difficult to do the more you progress. I also think you should be able to rotate buildings. There also is this bug where if I am finding a spot to put my new building for a new clone, it crashes, and the building starts wherever I last left it. But still, overall a super fun game and worth getting for sure.

Glad it’s back
I’m glad to see that this game is back but are we not going to be able to pick up where we left off? I had invested quite a bit of time and some money in this game and would like to continue where I left off. I’m having the same problem I see other people having. I deleted a Solar Nexus and added 3 Shiny Towers that have disappeared along with the gold and utopium with them. The land also shows that it’s still taken so I can’t build more without expanding. Before you ask me to connect to iTunes and send you the files...I don’t have a Computer to connect to at this time. Update: the housing problem has been fixed. I just finished finding all 150 jobs...are you releasing more? The old version had a lot more. I enjoy playing the game but if there are no more jobs to discover it gets boring.

Good game
I love this game it is easy and fun. This game is different than other building games because you get to create different professions and choose where they work. The times on building and creating are pretty fast at the beginning but then require a lot of money to expand as you go on. One suggestion I would make for the game makers are to have offline earnings. It maybe half as much as while you’re actually on the game playing but it would help when you get further into the game. I just assumed initially that the cash would continue but realized that it would stop at a point while offline until I went in and clicked everything. Over all good game but just a suggestion to improve in the future.

Love it! But have a few suggestions
I really enjoy the art and everything about this game. It’s a great time waster. But I want more? I love city building games mainly because I like sitting back and watching my city grow. A part of this is watching the civilians walk around, enter buildings, use amenities, and interact with each other. I would love to see the characters use the roads and walk around the city more rather than just around their work place. Another suggestion that I would make is providing small quests from time to time as a way to earn extra money or rewards. Overall, I think the game is great and I will continue to play. Thanks for reading! (:

Almost exactly as I remember it!
The game is missing a few features that were in the original, and there are some positive changes as well. Hopefully the next update will at back some of the functionalities of the special buildings like Farm, Embassy, Arcade etc. Besides that, the game is just as fun as I remember it a few years back. Thanks LambdaMu for bringing the game back and best of luck for the future! One small suggestion: Can there be a new building that lets you change land decor into astroglass decor? It would really help with land constraints. I think it would be best if it costed a lot to upgrade a decor to glass, and it would only be available after like level 20.

Consumer friendly
Honestly a very nice game in the sea of microtransaction garbage. I have experienced 2 bugs though, the one where clone is stuck because I can’t build their building (for me it’s the car designer and the auto shop.) I think it happened when the app crashed on my old iPhone. And the other problem I’ve noticed is if you build multiple versions of a clone the only way to get figure out who the extra one is requires you to look through all your houses and when you delete them sometimes it bugs out the spots in the buildings. I wish you could view where all of the clones by tapping the list at the top.

Some things bother me
I love this game and the fun colorful aspects like the little retirees on roads and the concept of discovering new jobs and buildings but the issue I have is that when building residential zones it’s cheaper to build the smallest one that houses two, for example housing two citizens(one tile) is 5,000 while four citizens(two tiles) is 12,000 and six citizens(five tiles) is 20,000 making it 5,000 dollars more and take up two extra tiles for what should be a cheaper option or able to house more citizens. Also each time I leave the game and come back around a third of my roads disappear and I have to pay o restore them which is rather upsetting, if these issues are fixed the game would be great. Thank you

Amazing Game: One Suggestion
First off, I love this game. I played this way back when it was taken off the Appstore (it broke my heart for about a day). When I came back, I found a better version of the game with slightly more micro transactions (gotta make the money some how). I guess what I’m trying to say is I love this game! I just have one suggestion... What if you made it there was a sandbox mode? Automatically all the professions are found, you have infinite money and gems (forgot what they were called) and every building unlocked? I’ll leave it to you guys. I know that somehow someway you’ll improve the game with or without my suggestion.

Beautiful game!
I’ve been looking for a sandbox/sim/pixel art type game for a while now, and this really hit the spot. The soundtrack and sound effects are beautiful (I really suggest playing with them on). The ambiance of the people of your little city reminds me of the earlier roller coaster tycoon games and the personalized melodies for each building is a really cute detail. This game is interactive enough to make it feel like your own but not to the point where everything needs to be controlled (which can be anxiety provoking). It’s chill, pretty, entertaining, and has a really nice storyline. Can’t wait to see where this game goes with future updates!

Stimulating and creative
Love this game! I appreciate the lack of ads and that the game does not punish you if you don’t play for a while. I like that the game lets you explore multiple ways to achieve new parts. I like that there are various in game currencies that are reasonable to acquire and that they can be spent on a lot of different items in the game. There is always something fun and new to discover or do as you progress. Excited to see what else I will find and build. Overall great game with tons of hidden secrets waiting to be discovered!

Waiting ruins gameplay
I really liked this game at first, but the amount of coins it takes to expand is ruining the game play. I’ve been tapping on and off for several days to get enough coins (56+ million) to expand (for a measly 10 squares of land, which equals out to very little time to actually play, before having to expand again), only to have to start that process again. Also, you can’t really buy more trees and decorations to increase spirit because it takes more land. It has just gotten monotonous. I get that you want to make money by players buying utopium (spelling?), but you literally need to have 40 every time you expand. I keep hoping it will get better, but I will probably end up deleting this game. It is a great game, but this issue needs to be fixed.

Fun until you hit a ridiculous paywall
This game is fun for the first 5-6 hours. And then you hit the paywall, at which point the game becomes increasingly unplayable. Prices for additional land increase exponentially, but most of your buildings stop generating income after 15 minutes. So you either have to log into the game every 15 minutes to make your buildings generate the income necessary to buy land...or you pay real dollars for the premium currency to upgrade your buildings so they genertae income for 10 MINUTES longer. This is basically ridiculous. I’m currently sitting at 2 million in income, but I need 5+ million for the next 10 pieces—10 pieces!—of land so I can progress with the game. I have no intention of loggin in every 15 minutes to tap on all my buildings and “get them to work.” This is another good game ruined by a greedy developer. I am uninstalling.

Animals!
It’s way too difficult to get the animals you need for missions. A zebra is a common one and it took me forever to get one. Now i’m waiting for like 5 rare ones and I can already tell I’m gonna lose interest in this game soon. I’ve spent 10 dollars on in game currency and I can’t even use it because I don’t have the animals to complete the missions!! It’s been 2 weeks of me opening the app, clicking the buildings, filling hearts, then getting another box cat before i end up closing the game out of frustration. I wish i hadn’t spent the money I did on this app. It’s fun but it gets to a certain point where it’s just too difficult to play.

So glad this game has returned!
I remember playing this game a few years ago but being unable to download it after I got a new phone. I searched everywhere to try and find a way to play it again so when I saw it return to the apps store I was SO happy! This is one of the few games that keeps me interested and coming back to it every time I get a chance. If I could make any suggestions I would say that some mini games or events would keep more interest in the game. Once again, I love the game and I’m so excited to watch the development continue :)

Game is enjoyable but slows down around 60 occupatio s
I really enjoyed the game but it slowed down around mid game. My buildings don't make enough to expand and so I'm stuck playing the waiting game. Please add the option to remove unique buildings as some give you 1 c/s vs 6 c/s. Also, it's very easy to misclick when pressing the blue power banner above the buildings and so I end up misclicking the buildings very often. In conclusion, please add the option to remove buildings (maybe for coins?) And to improve where you click. Also, the hearts don't make any sense and it add confusion to the game. Overall it's a great game but if they ironed out the links it would be more enjoyable.
