PLS Mobile

I really would like for this banking to work with any other money app for transactions like zelle, cash app and also be able to connect to Apple Pay hopefully in the near future. Another thing is getting charged for taking out money at pls locations I don’t understand why we would still get charged for taking out our own money when we are already paying a monthly fee and still pay extra fee when pulling out money at atms or some online shopping Other than that The card works great

So I added money to my PLS card and I need to make a payment for a shed. Unfortunately, the shed people are telling me that they’re going to charge me extra money to use a credit card/debit card. Since there are other cash apps that have the ability to have a routing number, etc., is it possible to do this with PLS as well? PLS really saved my business after my purse was stolen and they were able to cash a check for me because I was already in their system whereas Chase Bank wouldn’t cash the check even though I had an account with them and they had seen me hundreds and hundreds of times. I appreciate the way that PLS is able to keep their customers moving financially. I wish I understood the fee structure better so that I could account for that reduction in my money.

The app is really easy to manage and take account of any transactions pretty quickly, The staff at the stores are amazing too , always end up with Herman a customer service representative from a pls store on 51st and Indian school rd Phx Az. Always great support, quick and easy to talk to and gets things done fast. Always asks if i need anything else and is very friendly!

I have no issues with the app. It’s been great at what it does. I do have a couple of suggestions that I feel would make it better. Number one would be to update the pay dates for the direct express more often so that people who use direct express can know when they’re money is coming in. Also maybe make it to where you can move money to and from another banking institution. Otherwise this PLS app is efficient.

I was advised at a PLS location. to have a Western Union transfer loaded to an Xpectations card, because this way I would not need to pay in order to have the money deposited in my bank account. The card did not work at my bank and the only solution the store manager gave me was to be charged 1% of the toral amount in order to be able to get my money. This is unacceptable for no one should pay to receive a Western Union transfer. The sender already paid to send the money. I left a voice mail and I sent an email to PLS and got no response! My advice: Don’t use this service

PLS is a great outlet for people like myself without a credit card or cards and or a bank account. The app allows its users to keep track of their money. My biggest complaint with the app is that their is no (easy) way I can find to move money from the PLS “Expectations Card” to another card or account. I’m pretty sure there used to be an option on the app or website for moving money. Besides that, this is a very good app to have. Especially, if you often use your card for online shopping.

I really love this app it’s a secure way to save your money aside from your bank account it’s very secure the customer service staff is always available should you need them and it gives you the ability to freeze your account when not being used to protect your funds in case you lose your card or it gets stolen. I give 2 thumbs up

I like the idea of conveniently looking at my card balance, card usage history, making card changes like account info,transfer,Freeze card etc. BUT the app barely works. It says all the time “Error Retrieving cards” so you have to continuously refreshing the screen until the correct screen comes up. Then once your in , it’s no problem. It’s just getting to the actual card on the app . When you try to call the customer service they’ll say “we don’t control the app”

So I used my routing and account numbers to transfer my money from MY WALLET TO MY EXPECTATION CARD AND MY MONDAY MORNING my money was available. I also called after I had sent it and the representative said THEY DO NIT SUPPORT THAT FEATURE! Welp she didn’t know what she was talking about because they do so they hv a customer for life. I heard they’ll be cards with chips on coming soon.

With credit rating all shot to pieces the PLS service allows meself to remain a player to online $ transactions $ #relief Amazing to think of millions of electronic zeros and ones traveling from New York to California and back again literally at the snap of the fingers. Totally cool what an iPhone, a computer, and a corporation or two can accomplish. Cheers.

Becuase I would love it to be able to send money to other people and transfer money to my cash app or chime account and cannot do anything at all with it not even pay my online PayPal bills at all either so I don’t like it at all .. also charges for every transaction you make $1 it’s not a very good card at all you can only transfer from pls card to pls card. Which makes no sence so not very happy at all

So the basic functions of the ap are simple and work mostly my issue is that after getting a new device and phone number I was unable to use the account. I called and they couldn’t help me get in to account and told me the only way was to create a new account with a new email address. I’ve used the same email address for a long time and only have one. While not a huge deal to create a new email it just seems stupid that I had to at all. Looking for a new prepaid card because of it. Customer service was a joke also

I like the app, love the service I receive whenever I’m in the store. My only concern is the app advertising that the store has notary services when it doesn’t. I have always known for PLS to have one available and this is inconvenient. Please take down this part of the app as it may save the company time having to answer a call for users to check.

I just received my card I’m using the app and it works just great . One feature I love is you have an actual bank statement and by pushing a button you can freeze or unfreeze your card . So far it’s a great mobile banking also what’s great you can load up to $2500 a day at any pls 24/7 locations 🤟🏾🤟🏾🤟🏾👌🏾

I had a hard time with it at first the app itself, but after a while, I was able to get into it and use it. I like it a lot. It doesn't take me three hours to figure out how much money I have in the back because it's been a busy week and everybody's sick and blah blah blah I like it.

I love the app because your able to check your funds right away and don’t have to call and wait for to go through the automated prompt to hear your balance. Very nice have it just a click away

It was just what i needed (Something that will make it better would be the fingerprint password on the app would make everything faster) but its a good app its better than calling and taking 10 minutes to check your balance.

This app would be so much better if I will be able to use the scan for my face at all times instead of just two or three days. It’s so annoying, sometimes I don’t have time to type in info, also I’ve tried over an over to receive notifications that I have money an I have to Leo checking until there’s my funds. Please please fix this.

We should be able to get notifications about deposits. Make it seem a bit more modern? I don’t really expect much since this isn’t ran by a major bank, but everyone mobile banks, just suggesting to update that issue!

I have been a customer to the Expectations Card for more than 9 year I had the original orange pls card, and still going strong with my account to which is had been active all these years. I give PLS Expectations Card 5 stars. Keep up the excellent services. HAPPY CUSTOMER!

So far so good ... loving this app hope it stays working good . Barely downloaded and it has all the info I need to know my balance and routing numbers easy access to my account and balance .... Thank u so much hope everything will stay the same thank!!!!

THIS CAN BE AN AWESOME CARD IF SOME features are implemented it such as if more than one person has expectation card we should be able to send money to each others card with the app as well as the app should have face recognition instead of having to sign in with password all the time and also we should be able to link somehow to send money with Zelie chime cash app etc.

Well I’ve had the card for almost a year now n I love it a lot I hope it doesn’t never go away thank you very much pls for always delivering my hard working mono

This app is awesome you can check your balance see statements I wish you could transfer money from this card to another one but it doesn’t allow that feature 🤝

This is hands-down, the worst money app out there! But I guess that it mirrors the company itself. The service in the store is just as bad as it is on the app.! Wait did I say bad I meant it’s the worst service that you could find anywhere that has anything to do with any kind of banking in the history of banking ! The app is garbage the company is garbage and should be put where garbage belongs into a trashcan!!

Love having this card on my side due to I never have the worry about over fee or anything and it’s to load

I told them my money was missing they worked very hard to get my money back

I’ve had this account for nearly 3 years and I get charged 2.00 per transaction but I was told at the inception of my account that if I pay 7.00 monthly I wouldn’t be charged for every transaction but I’ve been charged both the monthly fee EVERY month for 3 years but I’ve paid 2.00 extra on EVERY transaction for the last 3 years.

The card has been good so far and working fine no issues I would recommend

I love the card, it’s easy to use and to buy with but I wish it was able to connect to Apple Pay, Zelle and others to pay with.

Wish that the app featured more options like the website. I have two xpectation cards so I can transfer money from one card to other for saving purposes. The app doesn’t give me the option. I still have to go to the website to do something that should be as simple as wam bam boom( wash my hands). Provide that and I would give it 6 stars!!!!

It’s simple and easy to use and i always see where the money went and what’s there

First my money is taken out of my card, I ask for closure of my card, replacement and refund. They refund the money and say it’ll be in my new card. My new card arrives with no money. With no permission or request they take out my money and claim to be sending a check. The check is never arriving. That’s how PLS stole my money.

Love it as far as you guys letting me know every transaction that’s been made. & the options you guys offer on reporting my card. It would be nice if we get a notification every time we do make a transaction though & I’m also having problems with seeing my account balance.

After so many times of logging in you be will be hit with “your token is expired” and from their you better have remembered your password!! because you will be forced to keep putting it in. 🤦🏾‍♂️it’s very frustrating ..

This app doesn’t give me any updated detailed transactions. I would assume every purchase is recorded and every time I open the app it doesn’t give me any details at all. Also it was I have a card connected to the account that I haven’t used in months. It doesn’t allow me to update my personal contact info. Please work on this issue

It can not enter if you do not have your mobile device registered and if you change your number or mobile device you have to create a new account and when you try to create an account it tells you that it is not possible, it is a crap this application and the card too

I loveeeeeee the option to freeze/unfreeze my card. The absolute BEST feature you guys have come up with thus far !!!!!

This app is ridiculously undependable. It stops working at random and once it is working again you have to make a whole new login for your current cards, if in the system it doesn’t still have your previous account registered while you’re still unable to login

On my now iPhone 15 plus.. Im having to redundantly type my information to login instead of the app remembering my info even with the use of the face unlock redirecting me in.

Pretty good service and good customer service help me with retrieving money someone stole from me I’ve been using pls for about 3 years

I’ve been using this card for a while now it’s been good so far I wish they would make a way to send money easily the way PayPal or cashapp do it would be a great idea put to use hmmm??? It would bring in more customer’s to use the card and app??? For that 2stars!!!

I have not been able to transfer money, every time I try I get an error message. This has been going on for a while now and every time I call they say “we’re working on it” you guys been working on it for months😳

Stop charging a fee for every use! Every time I use the card I’m being charged! I’m Losing money using this card!! I may as well put my money in the bank and at least I can draw interest off of it and actually EARN some money!!

I really like the APP but if it had the option to make payments on other accounts thur the APP like online use to let you do it man it be GREAT.. But it will do for now.

This app signs you out every time you close the app and there’s no way to transfer money from one account to another or even send money to friends and family like you are able to do with other prepaid cards

This app is much easier than the website ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I honestly have no complaints about this app. It just works .
