Passed my PMP thanks to this app!
I used the premium version of Pocket Prep for a month as one of my main study tools for the PMP exam and it was so helpful. I passed with AT/AT/AT!! I did over 800 of the practice questions and 2 of the mock exams. The app is so easy to use and the 10 question quick quiz is so incredibly convenient. I chose this over the other question bank tools because those were all web based and I liked the idea of being able to get a few minutes of studying in wherever I was if I had some down time. This app combined with some training videos and reading really helped with my preparation for the exam. I really liked how there was information to explain each correct answer, and many of them also contained a reference to the original information source. I felt confident taking the exam and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!!

ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt
App is good for getting a wide variety of questions in order to know everything in the Body of Knowledge. However, similar to the ASQ Study Guide, there are some questions where the answers are wrong. There have been multiple times where their reasonings for an answer have been incorrect and the correct answer (word-for-word) can be found in ASQ Handbook. Aside from some incorrect answers when reviewing, it is a pretty solid app. Edit: In addition to this, it makes perfect sense why their “refund policy” requires you to also do good on THEIR quizzes. Funny enough their answers are incorrect so good luck getting that appropriate score to get a refund if you don’t past your test. Edit 2: I did submit some questions to support. They seemed concerned about getting the questions properly reviewed and fixed, so hopefully that can be done. With a little bit more updating, I do believe this app can be excellent resource for passing certification exams. Will be using for PMP as well.

I passed the exam!!!
I had been studying for the SPHR exam with the BenchPrep materials that I bought through HRCI for months. I also purchased the unlimited practice tests through HRCI, which ended up being 30 questions and a total rip off. When I got down to the final days I felt like I wasn’t ready. I bought the premium subscription and went through 900 of the questions. I started off scoring in the mid 60s and was averaging 78% after working on this app. I liked that i could customize the quizzes to work on my weakest areas. I took my exam last Friday and I passed on the first try. My performance in each of the 5 subject areas on the test was very close to my performance on this app. I wish had found this app sooner it would have saved me a lot of stress.

Great App, Slight Typos
PocketPrep (PMP, Professional) has been a staple in my studying habits for my PMP exam. Hands down, it is indeed the best iOS studying app available for the PMP. Their recent update to their platform overall was hard to initially accept, but after working in it, it’s way cleaner and more intuitive! My favorite feature is seeing where each topic (PMBOK chapter) ranks from strongest to weakest. I especially like the ability to create a quiz that allows me to pick certain subjects, questions I’ve not answered yet, flagged questions, or even just questions I’ve gotten wrong. Minus one star because I’ve had to tweet PocketPrep several times regarding the accuracy of their questions or answers. Pedagogically, these issues aren’t huge, it’s just the PMP exam plays on words heavily and by misrepresenting certain acronyms or having typographical errors, this inflames test anxiety like mine!

App helped me prepare greatly
I scheduled my CSP exam in April for July and I used this app primarily to study. I did use other resources to study but this app was perfect. The daily question has me logging in every day even if I didn’t have a lot of time to study just to get a question in. The question bank has 1000 questions that covered most everything I needed to know for the test and the questions themselves helped me prep for the wording on the actual test and how questions are set up. Quizzes are customizable so you can change up depending on what you want to focus on or how much time you have. I sat for my CSP this morning and I passed! I felt much more prepared than I did on previous exams that I used other methods to study for.

Great for PMP
This app is great, because the questions are really challenging. I found them more challenging than the actual questions on the PMP exam, which was helpful. I completed all 1600 questions, until I achieved an 80% with the three-month membership and passed all three sections of the exam with “Above Target.” With that said, I also supplemented with trainings and other resources over the past year. I don’t know if this app alone would allow you to pass, because a lot of the PMP questions can be answered with an understanding of the mindset you should have, which isn’t necessarily communicated with this app. But this app certainly helped me prepare and pass the PMP exam.

Highly recommend
Pocket Prep was exactly what I needed to study for my PHR. With a hectic summer work schedule turning chaotic, having this app at my finger tips at anytime was a life saver. I didn't use any other resources (not sure if that's the best route to take for anyone else) but I aced my PHR yesterday. Scored high in all areas, even my weakest subject score was on the high end of scores. I'm definitely going to sign up again when studying for my SHRM certification. I tested earlier this year and didn't pass that one but hadn't known about Pocket Prep. Now that I know PP exists, I'm planning to try again. I think the results will be different the second time around.

Passed my CMP exam!!!
Paid the $20 for the premium version about a month out from my test date to upgrade to 600 practice questions to continue testing my knowledge. Along with reading the material EIC suggested I took at least one quick 10 quiz daily. I really like how an explanation was given for each answer along with the page number for reference. The formatting of the questions helped me prepare to make sure I read the question CAREFULLY and pick the BEST answer not just the right answer. Also loved being able to test myself on the go! Simply opening the app is so much easier than lugging 50 million flash cards with me everywhere I go. I’d highly recommend!

Convenient way to study for the PMP
App has really useful reminders. Turn on notifications so you get a daily reminder to study and take the question of the day. The 10 question quizzes are easy to take anywhere and everywhere. You can even build you own customized quizzes with your weakest topics. I purchased the $20 version which gives you access to over 800 questions. The only issue with the questions, is that they’re not situational questions like you see in the exam. They’re more knowledge and memorization questions. Even still these knowledge questions will help you answer situational questions on the exam so I highly recommend it.

Solid app, frustrating pricing model
I would much prefer an option to pay for one exam prep in full at a time instead of a subscription - it feels silly to subscribe to prep for one exam unless there’s clearer constant improvement delivery to the materials for that exam. Otherwise, it’s a really great app with some thoughtful study features! This app is making it possible for me to squeeze in a little study time during late night baby feedings, and that means I am so much more likely to study a little bit every day during parental leave. So, while I am annoyed by the pricing, I am still gladly paying

Great App
I have to say that this is a great app, the layout is simple and intuitive and the content is top quality. I used this app to study for and pass PMP, there’s plenty of questions to prepare you for your exam and all the answers come complete with the reference location so you can look it up and review it for yourself. The community scores feature lets you see how you rank against others using the app to study and the weak subject and missed questions modes help you focus on areas that you need improvement in. Overall I loved this app and used it exclusively as my study material for my test prep.

Passed the exam!
I started off using the free version and wish I would have upgraded sooner. The paid features are 100% worth the money. I loved being able to take missed questions quizzes, or tailor a quiz to my problem areas. It’s also nice that you can pick the number of questions for the quizzes; it allowed me to work in study time even if I only had a few minutes. I used David Siler’s course as my foundation but this really helped with getting my brain used to thinking through the test logic. I got my PHR on the first try - highly recommend!!

Passed CAPM with First Try!
Bought the app 29 days before my exam with the intention of just using it for one month and cancel the subscription afterwards. I did at least 20 questions a day. The day before the exam, I did 100 questions to get comfortable doing 150 questions for the actual exam. The questions helped ALOT! It’s like a refresher of the course at a high level. I passed the exam with Above Target for all topics except Intro to PM and Proj Integration which I got Target. Highly recommend using this app to prepare for your exam if you want to pass it the first time!

It’s alright…
I used PocketPrep for my CAPM and I contribute it to the success I had on my exam. However, for the PMP, meh. Often, (the set list of questions mind you) there are no references from where the information was gathered. I understand the PMP includes a plethora of different sources and also experience however at the minimum I’d expect a breakdown of why alternate answers are incorrect. Both the source and the answer comparisons would preferred on ALL not some. This was especially frustrating when there were questions that were vague paired with “right” answers that were are a complete stretch. For $20 a month it’s not worth it for higher level exams.

Ok For PHR Study Help
This is a decent study guide as long as you use it with other material. I’ve found several mistakes that were either outdated or just incorrect. Many misleading statements and irrelevant content as well (lots of SPHR only topics). You can tell the writer of the questions does not have a PHR or fully understand the topics. Overall it’s a lot more interactive than using flash cards but essentially does the same thing WITH an explanation, which is great when you’re questioning the validity of the question. Overall worth it, but make sure to not take the answers as gospel and use other materials. They’re not supposed to be like the real test questions.

Helped me pass my PMP on the first try!
This app was a Godsend, I had been using the free version but before my exam decided to upgrade and pay and it was worth it! The questions were a lot like what was on the exam, the analysis that it runs on the paid version helps point out your weak spots so you can go back and study. I am so glad that I used this app, it’s a lot less expensive than other exam simulations out there and way better than using the free exams out there. It’s so easy to use and I really recommend paying for the app, you won’t regret it.

Passed the test! Loved the features!
I found this app extremely helpful studying (cramming) for the SPHR. I passed my first time. While some of the questions and concepts are more specific on the app vs test, I found it more helpful than the course materials I had purchased and read. The app being so easy to use, immediate explanations, and all the testing options/customize features were all super helpful. I felt this helped more than the virtual course I completed that cost much much more money.

Powerful and Handy Study Aid
If you’re in the process of getting your PMP certification, I couldn’t recommend this app enough. It’s so well thought out and very practical. I love that it gathers data on knowledge areas and allows me to target gaps with focused quizzes in that area. Stellar app all around. One small critique—the developers should add a comment or feedback function to each question so users can submit feedback on things like grammar issues, misleading questions/answers, etc.

Some issues but overall a helpful tool
I’m preparing for my PHR and have been using this app for a little over 2 months. Overall it’s a good study tool but I would definitely recommend other tools as well. There are several spelling and grammar errors throughout the questions and at least one question marked my answer wrong but based on the explanation and other study materials it was right! This is a good tool as long as it’s not your only tool! May try to update my review after I take the test in 2 weeks!

Study anywhere!!
I loved using this app! I just took (and passed!) my CA real estate salesperson exam, and I am so grateful I found this app. I was able to study on the go anywhere, anytime which was essential for my busy work schedule. I highly recommend using PocketPrep in addition to other forms of exam prep (diversify!). I don’t recommend just memorizing the questions tho because they will not be identical to the exam. Must learn the vocab so you can dissect the questions, luckily you will learn so much from the answer explanations provided in this app👌👌👌

Passed the SPHR on my first attempt!
I have been wanting to get certified for some time. I’ve been in HR for about 14 years. I honestly didn’t feel confident in getting certified mostly because of having not taken an exam in god knows how long.. and being more specialized in Employee Relations at this point in my career. I only used this app.. I tried the HRCI book, mometrix book and flash cards, but I couldn’t stick to them. The app was what worked for me. Can’t recommend it enough.

Crucial for passing the CMP exam!
This app was CRUCIAL for me in passing the CMP exam. I upgraded to the 600 practice questions level and did at least 2 of the “Quick 10 Questions” exams every day, starting around 3 months prior to my exam date. I loved the explanations for each question, which also provided page numbers to find the material in the reference books. I also really appreciated the encouraging email I received from PocketPrep the day before my exam. If you’re looking to pass the CMP test, download this app - it’ll help immensely!

Great app
I just did the PMP and passed in all domains with above target. This app really helped me. Love the format and the intuitive design. Folks said that the pmp exam questions are more situational, which is true, but this app comes real close to the real exam. I think the better part of this app is also to test your knowledge on key concepts and not just only provide sample questions. The explanations are really valuable to teach yourself as your quiz. Highly recommend. I’d use it almost everyday and did almost all 800 of them (749)!

Great supplemental study material
I took a weeklong boot camp to get ready for the PMP exam. I also read the PMBOK and used this app on a daily basis for about a month to get ready for the PMP exam. This app was a great addition to my training plan. Everyday I took the daily question, 2-3 10 question quizzes, and missed question quizzes. Most questions have a good explanation of the right and wrong answers, also references the original content. Highly recommend as part of a study program.

Quiz is great but how will I learn?
Maybe i misinterpreted the purpose of Pocket Prep. It does Quiz you when is great though 90% of the questions is information I haven’t seen so either I’ve spent the last 2 months studying incorrectly or something is happening. However my biggest issue is I’m being quizzed and I can review what I missed but there is not quiz style of review. There is no game or questions that would help me review the information I did not know. All I’m able to do is continue to quiz. So that means I must study separately and then pay a subscription to just use the quiz bank. Which is not what I was looking for.

“Guaranteed Pass” confirmed!
I used this app for 9 days and successfully passed my CAPM today. No much prior studying, I give my sole reason of success to this app. I put 16 hours into the app from last Wednesday to my exam this morning (Friday) - so only 8 days total - and went into the exam confident. Do not hesitate to pay the subscription and get the full access. Study -> Exam -> Repeat & you can do it as well! Thanks so much to this app! Would give 6/5 starts if possible.

Great app for exam preparation
I used pocket prep for practice questions for the SHRM- CP exam. The questions correlate to material read. I do like that I can create a customized quiz based on competency and there’s an explanation for the correct answer. I wish the question bank was larger so I can practice as many questions as possible. I dislike that I cannot scroll up or down through the answer choices as it inadvertently selects an answer choice that I did not intend to select, which impacts my overall quiz score. This is a minor technicality.

Passed the CAPM!!!
Highly recommend this app. It will not and should not replace studying from the PMBOK, but this app is the perfect study buddy. I only had three weeks to study for this exam and resolved to do a quiz a night and then ramp up the week of the exam. The exam questions were a little harder than these but the format was very similar. I think it’s worth it to get the premium version for the last month of studying before the exam. Good luck!!

Passed my PMP! Love this app!
This was just what I needed to master all of the PMP info I’d studied for months. I needed accessible quizzes and this delivered, I love that you can focus on your weakest subject area and increase or decrease the number of quiz questions. I used this throughout the day when I had a little down time between meetings, talking a walk, waiting in line and right before bed. Honestly I will be using this as a study aid for all of my future exams. Thank you!

Worth the Money
The user interface for this carefully crafted and extremely user friendly. There is such a large bank of questions for many tests that by the time you complete them all you can retake them as if they were brand new. There’s many tools to help you target your approach to improving in weak areas. I will definitely be using this tool as much as possible in all future endeavors.

I passed the PMP exam today!! I used this app as my primary study tool after I had read the PMBOK. I went through all 800 questions before the exam. I really liked the quick 10 feature because I could study in small snippets at anytime. I also liked the explanations after each answer. About two weeks before the exam, I started doing long 100 question quizzes to prepare for the mental exhaustion of having to answer 200 questions on the real exam.

Convenient but not Accurate to Current Test
I bought the app as a supplement to my study material for the CA Real Estate Salesperson exam. Thankfully I didn’t rely solely on this app. While it is very convenient and a good quick refresh tool I do not feel I would have passed had I only been studying through the app. The current test is far more difficult than the questions contained in the app. It needs an update to make it more accurate to the current types of questions and difficulty level of the test being administered.

PHR Exam
Honestly the PHR is nothing like any study guide offered. This app will prepare you for more than you need but it will teach you valuable information for your career in HR. It’s user friendly, has great content and has different modes that make you want to keep studying. For reference I did pass my exam! I have under 2 years of prior experience with a degree in a completely different field so I’ll say it was all apps doing 😉.

Couldn’t have passed without it!
I used the app in the last month to study for the CSCP test. When you answer questions wrong, it explains why the other choices were incorrect, something the APICS software rarely does. The ability to study only flagged questions or ones I got wrong was a huge help in closing the gap on the last few topics I needed to improve on. Would definitely recommend - I just wish I had started with it earlier!

I really liked this app. I love the question of the day feature it gets you rolling to keep studying and also all the stats it keeps gives you an idea where your progress is, sometimes the notification doesn’t go straight to the question of the day, which is a minor glitch but overall I think is a great app.

Good product
This is a great study tool. With the new app, it took some work to get everything migrated over from the old one. Customer service did help to resolve the issue, but it was unnecessarily slow. They often gave short responses in emails and didn’t always answer all questions which were asked. What could have been a quick fix ended up taking nearly a week after back and forth emails. Took one star off as I believe some training in that area could prove helpful.

Customizable, easy to use, accurate
I used this app along with Rita's study guide to pass the PMP on my first try. I used this app nearly every day, answering at least 10 questions a day and reviewing the answers. This app allows you to focus on one knowledge area at a time, weakest areas, be given random questions or all the questions previously answered incorrectly. The question are hard, and the explanations are easy to understand and reference.

Good and bad
It was convenient to be able to study on the go. It was useful more as flash cards to practice vocabulary and show me what sections I was struggling in and needed to reread. It was nice that it explained why the right answer was right and the wrong answers were wrong. The question format was fairly different from the actual CSCP exam and a number of questions have typos. I paid for one month about a month out from my exam. I think it was worth $20 but I think I still would have passed without this.

I used this tool off and on for about a year as preparing for the PHR exam. These questions really helped me to see what areas I needed to focus on. Under the assumption it is accurate..
I will not really know for sure until the exam, but so far it appears that this app is really tied into LEED 4, unlike some earlier versions. By taking 20 to 50 questions at a time you will experience how questions build on previous questions while adding new information. I am not an architect or a developer, so look to other reviews for verification, but this is an excellent app.

Build your own quiz crashes app often
When selecting the build your own quiz option, the app crashes quite often in short intervals,e.g after 2nd question, then 4th question etc., Very good app otherwise and the quality of the questions are very good. I especially like the “practice weakest subject” quiz and the ability to see your progress against the knowledge areas. Not updated for PMP 2021 Version
Update: developer reached out and said they did update for the new exam. I still think there are too many definitions and no situational questions like you would find on the exam. Use this as a starting point, definitely not a final exam prep tool. PMP released a new exam in Jan 2021 but pocket prep does not appear to be updated at all. The new exam has less ITTO definitions and more focus on agile and situational questions. Mostly worthless for new exam. Pocket prep is still mostly all definitions and processes instead of situations.
