This app is one of the best apps I’ve used for making friends but some changes should be made to the app about certain things like age,country,gems. We should be able to get gems like every six hours or something shorter than 24 hours and I think we should be able to change our age and we should be able to select the states we want to meet people from it would just improve the app so much more and really make it the best of the best and when making new friends there should be a thing saying they accepted u witch there already is but it disappears and then I forget who I texted already and who I didn’t do if you guys would make these changes it would be amazing thank you

This app is an absolute disaster. After spending weeks using it, I was banned without warning or reason, and I’m not alone—many users are experiencing the same issue. There’s no customer support to speak of; I reached out multiple times and received no response, no explanation, and no chance to appeal the ban. It’s as if they pick random users to ban for no reason at all, and you’re left in the dark with no recourse. The moderation system is beyond broken. It seems completely automated or handled by people who have no interest in fairness or accountability. There’s no transparency in their processes, no clear guidelines, and the worst part is, this app treats loyal users with zero respect. You could be following the rules perfectly, and one day, you’re simply locked out with no explanation. I’ve seen many people reporting similar experiences on forums and reviews—this app is causing mass frustration. The developers clearly have no idea how to properly manage their platform, and Apple needs to seriously investigate this. It’s a shady and untrustworthy app that should not be allowed to stay on the App Store. Until they address these serious issues, I would advise anyone to stay far away from this app. It’s a complete waste of time and a huge source of frustration. Don’t fall into the trap, and Apple should take swift action to protect its users from this mess

I feel the need to write about a constant issue that keeps occurring in this app. It has been a common theme for people to say racist, sexual, harmful, and offensive comments especially in the Lofi Bar chat room specifically. These comments have made myself and so many other users feel extremely uncomfortable. I have been consistently targeted by multiple male users on the app for the color of my skin, sexual orientation, and more. If you really wish for your app to be safe for those of all communities, ages, etc.., there needs to be more strict guidelines and regulations that users must follow. I feel that your team has done a lousy job of taking care of these problems and on top of that, allowing people to be harassed on a daily basis. There is no action whatsoever that has been taken against any users that I have reported and blocked, which aggravates me. I demand respect for myself and other members striving to connect with others and that will not happen unless you create a more stern platform that is fun, but also respectful of everyone’s differences. Please don’t disregard this review, take it into consideration because due to this huge issue, you lost a user.

The app is great so far and I think it has some wonderful features but I’d suggest a few things. You should add something to where you can watch an add to get 20 gems or so instead of having to wait a whole 24 hours to start swiping again. I’ve also seen that many people are unable to change their age when needed. Like if they made their account and had a birthday, they have to put it in their bio instead. You should also add something to where you can filter out wether you’re looking for a relationship or not so you don’t have to keep filtering through people who do. I know it’s a friend making app but teens occasionally use it for dating. It’d also be nice if we could narrow down location by state if we wanted to but only as an option incase someone didn’t want that information out there. Otherwise I believe the app is great and these are just some personal suggestions I think you should consider.

(Doubt it’ll make a difference but since you’ve ignored every other attempt by me to figure this out, and I can see you actively respond to others on here, I’ve reported this app to Apple.) Opened a profile the other day, uploaded a single profile pic (of just my face), added some really basic, vanilla profile stuff (a couple interests, said I’d flesh it out if I kept using the app), and was almost immediately banned even though I did absolutely nothing more than what I just said. Hadn’t even looked at a single other profile. Hadn’t interacted with anyone. I got a notification from the app so I went to check it and was told that I’d been banned for ‘inappropriate conduct’. I contacted support by email (like it said to) and have sent 2 emails now, both of which have been ignored. Updating this just to say it’s been 13 days now and I’ve still not received any response at all about this. Bang up support, Purp. Another update. It’s been 3 and a half months and I’m still banned, still zero response from support. No option to try and make a new account.

This app was a HUGE disappointment. I read so many good reviews and had big expectations… but I was so wrong. I created my account and started using the app. After some hours I matched with a few people but never even got the chance to message them cause my account was reset literally before my very eyes. I was taken back to those screens where you have to register your name, age, etc… I was so confused and frustrated! Still, I did it again and started using it again. Of course the matches I had before were gone. After a while, the same thing happened again!! My account was rest before my eyes. I deleted the app out of frustration. Today I decided to give it a try one more time. I downloaded the app, opened it, and I got the message: Your account has been disabled for inappropriate content!!!! How’s that even possible!?? I never even got to talk to anyone there. I had only two unremarkable pictures, no nudity, no obscenity, no rudeness, nothing at all!! What’s wrong with this app??? It’s ridiculous!

I love this app to death but honestly i’m pretty disappointed with the communication level of the developers. I got my account disabled with no context recently (I think I may know why, but it’s the fact that they didn’t even bother to tell me and instead just jumped straight to disabling my account that is bothering me), and tried to contact the support multiple times to try and sort this out. I have found so many lifelong friends on this app and it does genuinely bring me joy, but now I can’t do that anymore because the developers won’t bother to listen to my attempt to get back on the app. It almost feels like they are intentionally ignoring me and honestly it’s starting to upset me. The worst part is that after reading other reviews, I am sure I am not the only one this is happened to. I still really want to be on the app but why bother if I have to reset my entire phone with a new account to do so?

they will let you link to your social media accounts that let users post images of them at the pool but they won’t let you post images of you swimming at a pool. this is especially disheartening if one of your main hobbies is swimming and you are an avid swimmer. I have selfies of me in a one peace swimming suit (think of the suits olympic swimmers wear) with all my bits covered up and for some reason that is flagged as suggestive. but you can link your Instagram and Snapchat where on Instagram people can link their only fans and on Snapchat you can sell suggestive content. No other sport has these problems of their uniforms getting flagged as suggestive. If you are an avid swimmer id avoid this app as well until these appsstart recognizing swimming as a valid sport and even when people aren’t participating in swimming as a sport there is nothing suggestive about someone being in a one piece swimming suit or any swimming suit for that matter at the beach.

it’s got a bit of scammers though so stay on guard. if you see a message that simply says “you got iMessage” in it, block them. it’s possible they’re trying to blackmail you. they’ll ask for a selfie, put it in a collage of inappropriate photos. (pretending it’s you.) then, they’ll threaten to post the picture everywhere, which isn’t possible, but it can still scare some people. they can’t do anything. they’ll threaten, asking for money. do NOT pay them. they won’t be posting the pictures anywhere anyway. that’s how it goes for most of these types of apps. sorry for rambling, just be careful. examine their grammar, and their spelling.

Unless you’re insanely attractive and look like a super model nobody is going to friend request you. I have to watch watch a million ads for coins and boosters if I want friend requests and nobody should have to do that and I’ve proven this multiple times by going days and even weeks without even opening the app and I don’t get a single legitimate request from a genuine person who isn’t a bot or scammer. I should be able to make an account put my phone down for a few hours and have plenty of friend requests without spending a single penny or watching a single ad or using a single booster I should get loads of friend requests instead of being hidden from 90 percent of using the app no matter what I look like and I know the developers do this on purpose because they want to fill they’re pockets instead of making their app better. yubo, and wizz both have this problem so be different and stop wasting peoples time and money.

I got this app last summer and overall it was a really great app, got so many matches and made so many friends but as time went on i stopped using the app. I recently came back to it and was astonished by the changes they made. I like the idea of adding lofi songs but what made me lose all interest in the app was when i saw that i have to pay for the premium subscription in order to add a picture. This was never the case, and I understand y’all need to make money but this is definitely the first time i encountered anything like this; it’s surreal. One of the reasons why i didn’t completely delete this app during my absence was because purp wasn’t like any other app that required you to pay a certain amount of money to use the features, but after logging on i can see that it definitely is and it saddens me that it became a money hungry app.

I downloaded this app a long time ago and honestly won’t be redownloading. This app isn’t strict enough and people get to say what they want. There are a lot of racist people on here. And just straight up weird people. So many people getting bullied on the chat room. And no one does anything they either laugh or do nothing at all. I feel if someone is saying extremely concerning stuff then they should straight up be banned. Where are the moderators for these chat rooms?. I literally didn’t feel comfortable even saying hey without someone saying some weird stuff. People literally have debates and fights in the chat room and like I said, some even say really racist stuff like “no colored people talk to me”. Overall the rest of the app is good but the chat room is just highly concerning and people are getting to comfortable just saying what they want on there.

Well Purp has been great for the most part. I’ve had it for over a year now and it’s all been so good. Although some things could be better. For example, gems. Why can’t you receive more gems? Another reason why I kinda just stopped trying with the app is because I got some 18+ accounts asking me if I’m “horny” and all that which isn’t safe for minors. I’m 16 now but at the time I was only 14. Now lastly the scammers. I’ve dealt with some accounts pretending that they were teenagers, and they would ask you for pictures of yourself and then start demanding money from you or else they would post fake images of you being exposed for sending nudes to minors. This has got to stop, it’s not safe for minors and if this happens then get the police involved.

Unlike most of the MANY friend finding apps, this one actually lets you talk to people, for free, really. While to swipe right to be able to begin communicating with someone you need gems, you start with 50 (equivalent to 5 swipes) and can get more through watching ads. There is a premium account if you're interested, but otherwise the main functions of this app are FREE! Do not waste your time trying to find other friend finding apps because this is the one.

This app is cool. The global chat is fun and people from literally all over the globe chat there. I wish that the diamonds give u 200 instead of 100 and also swiping should cost 5 diamonds not 10. There’s also this thing where when u scroll down from the global chatting there’s a “coming soon” with cyberpunk music. I don’t understand that at all. There should be a date set letting the user know when it’s coming out. I’ve been using purp for almost 2 months and that’s “coming soon” with the same music never changed. So I don’t know what’s up with that. There r some bots so watch out but 80% r real people. Just be careful of the scammers. It’s clear as day who’s real or not. But overall 7/10 app 👍

I have been using this app for a while now and everything was going good and there was no problems until all of a sudden I open the app decline a couple requests close it and then try to re open it but it said all of my friends list was gone and it wouldn’t let me swipe on profiles anymore. I tried to delete my profile and just make a new one but it wouldn’t even let me delete it. I have genuinely no idea what happened. Another bad thing about that app is how easy it is for people to fake their age. I have had multiple experiences of a grown man pretending to be 14. And another bad thing is how sexual the app has become. It’s like every single person on that app has some form of “freaky” in their bio and it’s disgusting.

I’m not gonna read this app bad because I didn’t really use it so I’m just gonna give it a 3. after taking out all the reviews people say it’s a great except some people’s opinions . but anyways, I need help on how I can login. I tried to login with Apple, but it didn’t work. I feel like you should put more options than just apple . something is up with my Apple ID where it doesn’t let me login with Apple ID which that is a my problem but anyways, I just feel like you should have more options to login because I was never able to experience the app . but other than that that is all i have for you guys i hope you’re guys team can get this situated thank you !

It’s an overall great app. I don’t like the fact you can only put four photos on your profile without paying but I do like that you can block people, report people, and that there’s an age verification camera. Really makes you feel safe you know? It makes me feel like “oh this decreases my chances of being put in dangerous situations,” and I love that but I do still have to watch out cause men and women older then me will request me. I like the fact you can just press the X it won’t tell the person you rejected their friend request lol. Overall a great app, a few bugs really bug me though haha. 👍❤️😋🤔

I had this app first a long time. Many people are actually nice and you can make a lot of friends٫ but what angers me is that this app is barely functional and the devs never fix them. I knew this for a while and I just got used to some of the bugs for example my friends popping back onto the swipe section and search preferences not working. However٫ they released a new update to customize which brought another bug. When I purchased a customization٫ I couldn't equip it or go back to it so I lost 1000 gems. I also encountered another bug that won't let me add more photos after I deleted a few. I got so angry at this app. I'm giving it a 2 star only because the users were nice people.

I got my bio deleted for just saying I was a streamer and that I didn’t want weirdos sending me nasty pics and stuff. Like bro? I don’t want that so why can’t it be in my bio? I also had that I’ve got tattoos and I put my age in my bio n a singer I liked n that’s abt it an my bio got removed. Such a crappy app honestly, yet people are allowed to have “I smoke weed everyday and send me pics 🤪” like whatever. They took my bio away and said that my bio shouldn’t contain “suggestive content, discrimination, and illegal/violet content” like what… ? I never had any suggestive, discriminating or illegal/violent crap in bio. I’m like the most innocent person on there. I don’t want creeps or nasty weirdos popping up and trying to text me. Fix ur stupid app and get better mods if ur gonna go after the wrong people.

I have ran into my fair share of scammers. there are people on there who only want to talk to you to get a green card to come to america and then just the pain old weird people. I will say that the app updates all the time for (in my opinion) dumb reasons. the latest update lets you boost your profile for 15,30,45 minutes when it used to be a lot more which makes saving gems pointless now UPDATE: not only did the app update again but they have made it harder to boost your account. how am so supposed to make more friends if you want me to buy gems just to boost and decorate my account? this app has taken a turn for the worse

The text feature may as well not even exist on this app. For some reason on this app and this app only your autocorrect and suggestion bar completely go away, which makes texting very annoying. And the whole format is just really weird and feels underdeveloped. Setting up your profile is also EXTREMELY annoying and difficult to do. The order of pictures literally makes no sense, and you can't move them around. Takes forever to just switch one picture of yours out. Overall not well developed at all, but has lots of cool people, so maybe it's worth dealing with.

App had a few issues initially, devs seem very open and receptive to feedback as features requested in reviews have been implemented such as messages and rewind features. Very glad to see this app growing with time as the developers actually care enough to listen to their users compared to other apps. Slight issue with fakes but that’s par for the course with apps. Looking forward to see this app really take off so long as it continues to be as user friendly as it has been.

This app is great for meeting people and making friends, but I wish there were a few changes that could be made. For example, it would be nice if we were able to change our age. When I joined the app I was 13, but now that I’ve turned 14, I’d like to change my age, and I can’t! That’s a little bit frustrating. Also, I wish ages had limits. For example, someone with their age set as 17 should not be allowed to swipe on someone with their age set as 13. That is dangerous and could lead to someone getting harassed.

First of all yall creators need to respond some of these are actually important and your doing nothing. SO.. please explain. I had an account for a few days but then one day I logged on and I couldn’t text anyone, all my messages disappeared. And my friends did to. My account photos and bio were still up. I’m extremely upset aswell because I made a few rlly good friends who helped me out with hard times.

My best friend recommended this app to me. She said she loves it so much, so I downloaded it. I was pretty excited to meet new people. Once the app is downloaded, it won’t let me sign up. I can put in my name, but after that, it’s frozen. My iPhone is updated way past ios13, so I don’t know what the problem is. I tried researching this issue, but I haven’t seen anyone have it. I’ve never had this app before, so I’m not banned. It’s just frozen. I’ve redownload this app probably 15 times before writing this review! I can’t even get into it, and I’m quite angry. Developers, please tell me what’s wrong with this, or fix it. I own a iPhone SE, the newest version. I don’t know if it’s my phone that’s the issue or what? Please, fix this!

So this would be five stars if these two things were true. 1. You could write what the person did in reports 2. I didn't delete your bio for dumb things Like a girl legit tried to post a pic of me online with fake nudes if i didn't send her cash app money but she didn't get banned because a day later she send me a request. There are also a lot of pedos… like theres no way to get someone banned if they said weird stuff to you outside the app. Also i put “i dont send” because guys were asking for nudes outside of the app and they deleted my bio… like i tried to say it in so many ways.

This app os pretty good, but on my first day of using it I was chatting a with friend that I had just met. Then i got off of the app and went to bed. After I woke up the next day, I opened the app again and it had deleted all of my friends and made me restart my profile. And to this day I still haven’t found that friend. And also if that problem keeps happening, maybe this app should have a search for friends section, or something like that. So that this doesn’t become a problem and can easily be solved.

I was enjoying this app so much until I wanted to change my photos and it wouldn’t let me put the photos I wanted. They said that I violated the community guidelines. All I wanted to post was a photo of me flexing my arms and when I uploaded it immediately deleted it telling me I was violating the community guidelines. I didn’t put something sexual or that promote violence and I was showing my face as well. I’ve seen photos of guys doing it in some of their profile pictures. This app discriminates woman by telling girl can’t flex or can have big muscles. Anything “mascullar “ was immediately taking down by the app they also threatened me to take down my profile and banned me. Horrible app don’t download this !!!!

I was disabled on this app without explanation literally minutes after signing up. I didn’t even get the chance to message anyone. I had two selfies posted, none of them revealing. I tried contacting their support team multiple different times, but never received a single response. I have gone so far as to go through their guidelines to see what I would’ve done wrong just to see that i didn't do anything to break their rules. Terrible moderation and terrible support team for a nearly five star app. Supposed 24/7 content moderation team but no one to read a short email that was no more than a paragraph long.

this app ain’t overall bad. i deleted it, redownloaded it, delete it, repeat. my only issue; you really won’t find people near you. i dislike apps that are strict, have manyyyy rules & wont budge to make small changes. it’s a cool app. easy to make friends, best friends, even as long as a relationship. but again, where are the people closets to you ? yes, it’s best that they DONT track your location…but for someone who lives in an area where it’s IMPOSSIBLE to find people near (me) i think that option would be helpful. good app, could use some minor updates.

It’s a chill app but it has a terrible sensory System. For instance I understand not wanting to moderate msg but some people will ask for nudes and other things or I had a dude tell me that he needs to see my body or else he would take the photos from my profile and use them saying I sent him nudes and get the nudes from a P-Hub. Other than all those things this all is pretty fun and u can meet some great people!

Before we could have 8 slots for photos for free, and then it was changed to four. If anything you should keep it at 6 and make the paid for slots 10 slots. Then when boosting your profile it went from a 2-6 hour boost to a 15-45 minute boost. That’s fair because it was around the same amount of adds for a shorter time. But what you needed for a 45 minute one was about 1400 coins. You guys now have these useless ‘boost cans’ that need to be bought. In order to get a 45 minute boost it now costs 2150 gems. What’s the problem? Why do you want to change the app so much to make it just as annoying as every other app? Instead of taking away features, just add some that you didn’t have that can be bought. It’s better to do that than take away things we already had and making it no longer free. It is genuinely irritating.

I think there should be a facial verification because someone tried to label me as a hookup girl on here and said they would post a bunch of fakes inappropriate photos saying I would offer them out. I don’t actually know if it was that girl trying to “expose” me, but she said “Pay me to delete it now” which makes it seem like the person behind it was a scammer. Please make facial verification a thing because it could help make the app more safer for all users Thank you

I just got this app last night and i clicked the app to check my notifications and it brung me back to the page where you create a new account??? Although I've done nothing inappropriate weird etc you guys deleted my account? I think you need to fix this app because there is old men on here pretending to be children that whip their d**ks out and try to trade with literal kids and they dont get banned???? But me? A religious 15 year old girl? I GET BANNED? For what? Being ugly? So you guys are going to insult a minor now? Not cool 👎 don't waste your money on this app they will just delete your account for no reason. And theres LOADS of pedos on it

So many sexual harassment, and won’t let you change your age and I’ve talked to the Main team and they did nothing to help me. They just kept saying that I was on the old app which I wasn’t. I had to delete my account and make a new one because of it, I think this app is very dangerous and I bet a lot of people has probably gotten hurt because people will lie about their ages. If you see this app and want to try it I recommend don’t because I’ve gotten a lot of sexual-harassment and reported them and they were still at it. I am giving this app a a zero out of 10 because nobody helps you even if you tried to get help

The longer I used the app the more I started to figure out its main issue. For a while I’ve gotten many matches but realized that when I reached out to them (while they were online, just matched), They have never even read my message. So out of curiosity I added their social in which they replied they have not been on in years. In the mist of all the confusion, I then realized that inactive accounts are still automatically active to where the app itself will match the user with you without the user’s knowledge. If you get this app, use it at your own risk as your identity can potentially be stolen!!

I made 17 friends in one day it's an overall great app there's actual people on here not just robots trying to talk to you there's actual people on here it's not a scam it's just a app for teens to talk to people and get to communicate and make friends you can choose to people in your country but that doesn't mean that people from other countries won't find you and try to add you

This app was fun a first and have some pretty cool people on it and I like how you can use gems to buy up to 100+ friends at once which is cool but I don’t like the fact you have to pay to add videos on your profile that just irritated me all the way like you already have purp+ where you can have unlimited swipes, rewinds, and etc. why would you want to go out of your way just to make it that you have to pay to add videos like that’s actually crazy. Until this is changed I’m deleting my account and will no longer use it until it gets back up for free

Today I decided to redownload purp and later in the night I got text by three girls asking for sex I denied all three of and one got mad and was claiming I was something I’m not and send me a click bait image of me. So I have did the right thing to blocked her and the other two. In my experience with purp was not good and also purp it was not your fault you try to keep the users and customers happy and those who are thinking about using purp be very careful and if you don’t comfortable talking to people on the app block them or report them. Thank you purp for listing to my review and I hope you make sure everyone is safe on this app. 🙏

I downloaded this app thinking it would be a nice way to communicate with other people online. As i was trying to create an account it froze while i was trying to put my name. I thought it was fine maybe a little glitch, but it wasn’t. I tried at-least 10 times after, trying to put my name in and nothing worked. I read others reviews and they’ve had the SAME problem… But instead of the reviews being recent they were from months back! So purp i suggest you work on this please.

So this is a great app but rn I’m having an issue and it might just be my phone or smth idk. Everytime I go on the app now every other thing works but the chat like it says I have no chats and I can’t see anyone’s and when I send one it disappears when I open and close the app. Plus when I go to the lofi bar or wtv it says no one is on it every time which I don’t think is true. I don’t know how to fix this so maybe you guys could help?

Listen, I’ve used this app for a while. A year to be exact, and there is one change that I wish would happen. A verification check, to verify if you are the person in the photo. Some people usually get annoyed by these things, except I believe it could make the app safer for people to use, please make this possible. It is just a suggestion, and I highly believe that it should be added to the app.

purp is not for everyone, i’ve met way to many strange people on this app but i wouldn’t regret a single second because that is where I met the love of my life. as two hopeless romantics we found each other and bonded over how strange everyone else was on the app, and now we are dating! overall, thank you purp for helping me find the man i want to spend the rest of my life with.

I had this app on another device, my old phone and it was cool and fun. I got most of my online friends from this app. Until I broke for phone. I got a new one but I couldn’t download purp again because you needed an Apple ID to create an account so I really can’t do anything but I want to be able to link purp with my google account and chat 😁

This app was so dum I went on the app today to download it and I was really enjoying it and then all of a sudden they just say my account has been banned when I lit did nothing no sexual stuff no nude no rude comments or anything all I did was talk to people and when they banned me they didn’t even give me a specific reason for why I was banned they just banned me and it made no since cuz I again I LIT DID NOTHING!! Don’t download this app it’s annoying they make you have to wait 24 hr just to more gems so you can swipe up on people or you have to pay like bsf don’t download this app

Had one original account I had for months never made changes and it got deleted so I made another account that got insta banned for inappropriate content which I only had one picture of me in a costume I spent money multiple times and I emailed with no response so I like the app I just want my account back or a fresh account with extra gems.

This app has been fun, full of a few jerks but that comes free with any social media kind of app. What bothers me the most is the ages. It asks for your birthday so the app knows, but after the birthday passes, the age doesn’t change. It runs the risk of people being reported for lying about their age when the app just won’t update the ages accordingly. Otherwise good but this issue causes a lot of younger people getting away with messaging older people and many being lied to. Please fix this soon!

This app is a typical “friendsmaking” unlike in here Wizz which actually scans your face to verify if your actually real or not. I’ve had multiple bad experiences with people trying to ask for inappropriate and graphic content on this app and you guys don’t even bother fixing it. I suggest this to anyone who wants to install this app to be careful and don’t trust anyone until you actually know something. And if you give your socials make sure it’s a private account they will try to send to your friends good or bad.

I’ve been using this app for a few years now and met great friends. However recently I decided to get premium as I wanted to see more people!
