Was only on here 30 seconds when the review questioner popped up, but I did a lot and already have an opinion. It’s fantastic, do I wish some things were smoother, sure, but it does the job with grace and some smoothness. Could be smoother: wish I only had to click “unlimited member” once, I’m still an unlimited member sense the first time I clicked that :/
The class calendar shows a list of people who are in the class and will show you if you are in the class, but if you click on reserved and look at the people who are in the class it doesn’t match and can show empty spots even though the class is full. Also when you click on a day it more often than not pulls up a class registration for a different day. The loading speed also needs to be improved. I have tried to register for a class and been stuck on a loading screen for a few minutes, but someone opened up the app and told me I was in the class. I closed the app and reopened it but I didn’t see I was registered. My app did not register that I was in the class till the next day. Overall it mostly works but could use some big improvements to make a better user experience.
Once you learn how to navigate, this app is solid. My main issues with the app. 1. The menu in the upper left is not easy to use. It can be hard on some phones to click on the menu bars. Had to help another member and neither one of us could click on the menu bars without getting frustrated. You get used to it, and I can see why it is so small once you get to the next screens. 2. With so much real estate on the Home Screen it seems like you could more easily direct members to the place they need to go using larger buttons. Or at least have some information available on the front screen. Maybe have a gym announcement of the day on that Home Screen? That would be helpful. 3. If you want to track your progress, you need to purchase a different app and you would have to use the same app as the gym to do this easily. Btwb, SugarWOD, or Kilomodo.
It seems to do its purpose for the gym owners. As a user, it would be nice to see how many spots are available for each class and who has a reservation. The payment options could expand a little also. I would like to use a bank draft vice credit card to avoid additional fees. It would be cool to see my gyms logo or picture on the home screen rather than a default picture. Not sure if some of the settings are set by the gym manager, but I don’t care for licking out the reservation 15 minutes before class time or limiting the reservation 12 hours prior. Again, it serves it’s purpose.
Members is super easy to use and it’s very useful for scheduling classes at my gym, and syncing those with my iCalendar. There’s just one bug that I’ve found. When opening the app and checking the class schedules it shows a date bar at the top, but usually it scrolls to the left and only past dates are visible. It would be helpful if the date bar tracked the current date, because no one really needs to check there previous class reservations.
But difficult to use on my iPad because the screen does not rotate to landscape. Just saying "Works on this iPad” does not make it so. Good functionality. In the old app we used, you could see how many people had signed up. I hate sharing information with FitBit, I have no interest in that "community” but I do know everybody in my gym and it is more fun to go when more people show up. I would think that for the classes I try to get to it would be more efficient for the coaches, too, for us to share who has signed up, or at least how many.
This is by far the worst, most unreliable app on my phone. It only allows one program’s workout to show up and I constantly have to do a force delete and re download it just to get it to work. This is very frustrating being a coach and not being able to get in and check members in a lot of the time or it takes forever to load. I have also heard so many complaints from members not only not being able to see workouts but also not be able to see class schedules or sign up for classes. Would not recommend to anyone!
I love the class reservation feature. It works like a charm and this app does almost everything we need for client management. I would love if our members could see who else has registered for other classes that day. I think it would increase class engagement. Same thing for the gym event registration. People can’t see who else is going to an event. Other than those small features, the app has been a fantastic addition to our client experience. I am loving it!
The app is solid and I use it daily but I have a couple suggestions: - Make the main screen useful. Ideally I would most prefer to automatically see the class schedule for reservations but from a UI/UX perspective anything would be an improvement. Don’t bury functionality behind extra taps. - If I have only one subscription, which is even unlimited, don’t make me pick it from a list when reserving a class.
Members works reasonably well for scheduling classes. The schedule view often has issues refreshing when switching between days. To address the biggest issue though, could we replace the picture of Chad watching Stacy climb a rope on the main screen with buttons for “Classes” or other sections in the menu though? It feels like wasted space.
I wasted 24 hours of accumulated time trying two other booking sites prior to finding PushPress. This booking app is soooo easy to set up and the help is unbelievable. They are responsive and provide real solutions that I am able to use so I can make my member experience the best. Don’t wast time with other sites. PushPress is the way to go!
Most recent update is garbage. They didn’t simplify the interface. I actually have to click two more times to get to the location I need access to, the only reason I use this app. Also why in the world do you have to reserve the class and then check in to the class separately. This to me feels like their is no actual user feedback. Hopefully it is fixed.
I don’t typically write reviews never the less bad ones. The app requires you to give your credit card information upon sign-up, but it refuses to let you remove or delete it later. The only method of deleting your credit card info and canceling your membership is via te gym manager. This app holds your sensitive data hostage, leaving you vulnerable to potential hacks and breaches. It's astonishing how little regard they have for user privacy and safety. Steer clear and protect your financial information elsewhere!"
Over the past few months, I’ve had to delete and reload the app a couple of times, between not letting me log on and also incorrectly showing class schedules on the wrong day. Works well most of the time, but when it displays the wrong class and dates, it has thrown coaches off from when they are supposed to be leading a class.
Downloaded this app, and when I launch it, it takes me directly to a log in page. However, what I do not see is an option to actually create an account. There are links for “forgot password” and the like, but those links are obsolete if you can’t even create an account. Is there a different place I have to go other than within the app itself to create an account? If so, that seems inconvenient.
I like to drag my friends to the gym and it would be great to have an invite option to send them a link with instructions to register and sign up for a class on their own. Essentially recruitment functionality. Right now (as far as I know) it’s a manual process to reach out to the gym or just show up with them day of to get set up. Otherwise app works as intended.
There is little functionality beyond signing up for classes and making payments. Competing apps that allow you to enter your performance (times, weights) and store this for you add so much more value to this type of app. Specific issues: the app appears in the Home Screen with the title below the icon as “Members”, which seems lazy and not app specific. The workout of the day shows up when you click on a class to sign up but not in the bottom tab labeled “Workouts” oddly.
My biggest issue is the fact that it always goes back to the last day you logged or whatever you looked at instead of the current date. Can you make it so the default screen is the workout of the day?
I am always having to go back and forth from my work schedule on my phone to this app so I can schedule classes, each time I do this the calendar starts back from “today” and I have to scroll all the way back to what day I’m at. It would nice if it didn’t revert back to today unless I hard closed the app
It STIIIIIIL won’t let me sign in. My user/password work just fine on the website but not in the app. And not a peep from the ‘developer’. It’s now 3 months later and the problem of the app not accepting my logins continues. I’m still having to login using my browser. Your app is completely worthless if I’m not “allowed” to use it?? I know you’re aware of the problems. In my case it refuses and to let me sign in. How about you fix the problems??
I really appreciate the ease of use this app provides. And what’s even better, now you can see how many people are signed up for a class before you go. I also enjoy being able to set up a profile pic.
My iPhone and iPad automatically updated to the most recent version of this app and now it has stopped working! The app launched the opening screen. But then it freezes and is completely unresponsive — I cannot access any of the menus. This is, needless to say, a HUGE problem, since it means that I can no longer register for classes at my local box. Please fix it, and fix it soon!!!!
It would be nice to easily see how many classes you have left in the month. For example, I pay for 13 classes every four weeks, and sometimes I’d like to easily see how many I’ve taken and how many I have left. Thank you!
The app is ok for booking classes but is often very laggy when you try to load info like account history. Also there is no simple way to see how many credits for classes you have available or if a free class is loaded from a contest or something of that such nature.
I need to CrossFit but I must say I really like the trainers who run the class is Michelle and Eric. And the people that attend the classes are friendly and very helpful. Very family orientated facility.I’m happy to be part of the team, and when I’m able I’d love to compete to CrossFit games some day
Good app Would be cool if it opened to what the user most often uses instead of a blank default screen. Why make us do the extra step of clicking into the preferred function if it could just be there? As Elon the said, any user input is an error.
We use this app for our gym to reserve classes. It works very well. My only wish is that I could customize the picture so that it is more personalized for our gym.
Many issues with checking in and reserving an open gym class. Attendance will not be counted if you check in an open gym class without reserving the class the night before. In addition, having a yellow text on a white background is a challenge to your eye sight especially for older people. I really don’t like this app at all but have to use it to reserve my gym class.
This app makes it so easy for my members to manage their gym membership with my gym. Includes reservations and checkins everything I needed for covid times.
The coach who trains my 3 sons uses this app. Unfortunately I cannot link my three son’s to the same account. I had to create three accounts, one for each kid and log on to each individual account to sign the three of them up for the same session. Not very efficient.
The full-screen image of a lady working hard on a bike as the first screen is useless. People have to tap again to get to any useful functionality. Put most commonly used functionality right on the main screen please! Loading of schedules is just too slow.
I can now only reserve my classes. I used to be able to see the other members that were signed up and I used to be able to watch the new workouts before class. Now I can only reserve the class and nothing else.
I downloaded the members app and it doesn’t even let you create an account. It automatically takes you to a login screen before you even have the chance to setup your login credentials. As a gym owner, I created the free web account for my gym and when I add members, they don’t show up in the members list. Very frustrating. Deleting all accounts.
When trying to check my workout schedule for the week I received an error message. I attempt to sign in several times. I eventually hit the forgot password link and I’m directed to reset my password for a gym that I haven’t been a member of in years. The link I received to reset my pass password does not work.
App crashes when trying to reserve a class spot. Multiple reviews posted stating this. No option to report an issue through the normal “report an issue”. And no software update for months. This review will fall on deaf ears and probably not get posted. Typical poor performance for what we’ve now come to expect from PushPress.
Hate the new update. Makes the app very hard to use and navigate. Understand wanting to change cosmetic but all of the white makes it hard to read/use. Don’t like how you book classes now. Would love to be able to revert to the old version.
Please add the number of students in the class or show how many spots available. Like what you do on your website! That is the only thing keeping me from giving you a 5 star.
KNX is the best place to workout! Chris is always looking for new ways to offer health and fitness options for a wide variety of members. He provides a positive environment that encourages teamwork and support for all.
For gym members to reserve their place in a class, sign up for gym events, purchase product pre-orders and general account management like updating headshots and credit card on file.
