Great app!
So thankful something like this exists, I only wish I had known about it from the day my little boy was born! It makes it so easy to answer questions by sending you the texts, and add photos by just opening up the app. And I like how you can add a photo collage with four photos, because I usually have trouble picking just one! It is definitely worth upgrading to the paid version to be able to do this. I also like how I can add my own entries about whatever else is going on or whatever else I want to put in there. I haven’t actually gotten the books printed and sent to me yet, so we will see how that goes. But I’ve been enjoying doing this so far! Update: the first printed book was disappointing quality but I didn’t care that much because the memories are what I wanted. The second book I did less collage pics (because they’re too small) and more singular pics and kept them bright, quality seemed better this go round. Their customer service is great! Every time had a problem they’re quick to fix. I love this app. Books can be pricey but they have sales so I take advantage of those

Baby Book replacement!
When I had my daughter I spent a lot of time searching for a “good” baby book and a good way to keep photo books printed. Everything seemed like so much work and then a magical ad popped up on my social media and I saw Qeepsake and I was hooked. I always brush off adds and never buy into anything but Qeepsake is so nice. They text me everyday twice and send questions that I can answer about my daughter and send pics back in to that will automatically get made into a book! This is one of the membership options but it’s so worth it because a normal photo book is $35 and really the costs end up being equivalent to what you’re going to spend to print a book. However this is a MAJOR timesaver in the long run and helps you capture special memories that you may have forgotten. I wish I had found this during my pregnancy but I’m only going forward now!

Great concept, app is lacking
**edited in response to developers answer- I have reached out at least 2-3 times in the past regarding the crashing and glitching issue. I was just told to uninstall and reinstall which may slightly improve the app’s functionality for a few days but then it’s just as bad as before again** I LOVE the concept of the app and I love that it gives me something tangible to do with all the great photos of my sweeties. However, about every two months the app crashes on my phone and I have to uninstall and reinstall it. Also, if I spend more than 15-20 minutes in the app it glitches and stops working so I have to come back and try again when I can find another free moment. Also, I tried to use it on a computer thinking it might be easier/faster/less glitching but it is not easy to navigate and it’s very laborious. Lastly, to actually purchase the books, it’s crazy expensive- I paid around $300 for the hardback one and around $200 for the paperback one and that was with coupon codes and birthday month discounts. With all of that said, I will continue to use it for now but perhaps not as long term as I had hoped to unless some bugs are fixed.

Concept great, repetitive questions, expensive book
I really liked the idea of it, because I’m so bad at writing things in an actual book. Sending a text whenever something happened that I wanted to remember or to answer questions via text seems like such a genius idea. Unfortunately, as many others have mentioned, the questions are repetitive (how often does the answer to “is your baby a sensory seeking baby” really change? Or I get the question whether baby loves bathtime at least once a month - the answer hasn’t changed). I can upload my own memories though which makes it worth it to me. I was very excited to order a book for baby’s first birthday, but the cost for the hardcover would be close to $200!!!! I don’t even have all the entries in there yet that I wanted in the book. That is a ridiculous price and I don’t want to spend that much money. That’d be $200 plus the monthly payment I made for a memory book that I could have gotten way cheaper, if I weren’t so lazy. I also don’t want to use less entries, because it took a long time to write them and find appropriate photos. So now I’m trying to figure out how to get my answers into an actual online photo book that would be cheaper to print.

Improved
I used this app for the first year after my daughter was born - I went with the Premium subscription. At first it was great but than the questions started to recycle or weren’t really age appropriate. Also the fact that you can only have one picture per post was frustrating to me - this is been updated!!! So increased stars. About 1/2 way through the year it stopped letting me add pictures via text saying I had to upgrade - I had the highest level of service which was very frustrating. So I canceled it after the year with the intent to order my book when she was one. I had no idea that I couldn’t order the book without a subscription (I might have missed that)- which I don’t want and now I would have to pay for another whole year and also pay for a ridiculously expensive uncustomizable book. I reached out and Qeepsake was very quick to respond and help me with the issues and also allowed me to order the book without having to get another membership. The customer service was excellent. So with that 4 stars if they can make the books more custom and fix the questions which is sounds like they are doing I would say 5 stars.

Mostly good.
I just upgraded to the plus plan at the end of my free trial. I like the questions and the texts. I was excited to be able to add more entries and photos. I opened the app and have found two glitches that are really annoying. When adding a journal entry you are able to change the calendar date. The glitch happens when you are changing the date, the date view shuts after the month adjustment, so you have to open it again to get the day changed. And sometimes it shuts before you finish that. The other problem is that the app doesn’t really stay open if you move to another app. I was trying to copy and paste from a letter my husband wrote. I quickly learned that I had. To copy the text onto my clipboard before opening the Qeepsake app. Then paste it in and save it before changing the journal entry date or it would all disappear. Then to go back out of the app to copy more text from the letter, back into the app and select the edit entry feature to add to my entry and save again before exiting. Really annoying. But I do like the concept of the company, so I will keep it up for the year and see how it goes.

Hidden costs
Hidden expenses around every corner. You pay annually just to be asked questions. This is supposed to include a “free” book but even if you only have a few entries they will spread them out over more than the small free limit of 30 pages resulting in a charge. Then you’ll be asked to pay a fairly high shipping fee for something that can fit in an envelope and takes a month to get to you. Lastly, if you want to take your text and pictures and memories, they will charge you to export your own memories. I wanted my book to include my child’s entire first year, so I took us to complete, so I had to pay for two worth of subscription. At the basic rate, this is more than $80. Plus, there’s no way to get a free book unless you only want it to include a couple so I had to pay for the book and then I had to pay high shipping and and I thought I might want to print another book later and they need to keep my journal entries. At the end of the day I paid over $100 for a 36 page book that barely includes a handful of memories. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.

Book is SO expensive
UPDATE: I received my book. I’m glad to have all of her memories in one place, however the book is so cheap and flimsy. Especially when I have paid $115. It is flimsier than most paperback books, and I don’t think it will probably last very long with us looking through and reading the memories. :( I love that I can type memories/journal entries in Qeepsake at any time. I’ve enjoyed the questions and the app works pretty well. BUT I just went to place an order for the book (I’ve been doing a couple entries per week for my daughters first year) and the book is $170 for hardcover and $94 for a softcover. That is CRAZY! Almost $100 for a softcover book that I can’t even really customize? For example, there are some pages with just one question/response and no picture, and it takes up the entire page because they enlarged the text to a huge font. I would much rather have that small response show up on another page. On top of the crazy price, they charge $15 for shipping. $15 to ship a softcover book? I put so much energy into writing responses all year for my daughter’s first year, and I feel so disappointed that the book is going to cost so much.

Excellent, EASY journal app!
I love this app! For years I have felt guilty about not keeping a journal and missing the cute details of our family life by not writing them down. But this is just SO quick and SO easy! And I never forget since it texts me every day. I have only had this for less than a year and in that time I’ve recorded more in my little five minute increments about my kids and how cute and fun they are than I have in the last fifteen years. I’m so grateful for this app! Now I can look back on these days with a smile in my heart instead of forgetting the details and fun we have together. And I love that I can easily add pictures. This is remarkably approachable for someone who has avoided journals all her life and isn’t super technically savvy. I feel like I don’t have time to do the journaling I want to with five kids but because of this app, I do! It’s fun! I love the questions and I appreciate how easy it is to use!

Need new questions!
To start I absolutely love this app! It’s so easy and I set the questions come at night when we are getting ready to put the baby down so when we are done I can update. But I have gotten out of the habit of posting because I am constantly getting the same questions over and over again! There was nothing asking about holidays like Valentine’s Day, St Patrick’s Day or Easter but I’m getting the same mundane questions everyday asking about whose voice make my son perk up or what do I keep trying to capture on camera but keep missing. And I swear if I get one more question about what worries I have with regard to COVID... I love the app but I’m having to add memories that I find important rather than actually getting useful questions that may trigger a story answer for later on. It may cause me to not renew my subscription after the first year.

Best gift to yourself & your kids
I started using Qeepsake when my first son was born. I luckily downloaded it prior to him being born and found many sleepless nights just sharing time between writing in the app or watching shows on my phone. I now have over 1000 entries with pictures (and now videos). I am not as diligent about writing every day, and I often just write without the prompted questions. I have gifted a Qeepsake subscription to many mom friends, and I found myself reading back on post from when my first son was an infant to help give me perspective for my newest son. Things I swore I would always remember would have been forgotten without writing them down. While I love the idea of a physical journal, the app is so much more accessible especially when needing to keep the lights low or out. 10/10 recommend!

Great so far
I think this is a great way of keeping track. It’s easy to upload photos & memories. I gave this 4 stars because I think some of the questions are not appropriate based on the age of my baby. I’ve just left those questions unanswered & may come back to them when they apply. Also, I feel like there should really be a way to load more than one photo per comment. For example I loaded baby shower pics. I’d rather be able to just upload all of them with one comment rather than having to do one at a time with separate comments. One thing I dislike is that the app doesn’t show the date of the photo/comment you’ve uploaded. It says 2 weeks ago. I want to know the date. You have to edit the comment in order to see the actual date. Right now, my baby is only 8 weeks old. I will probably order a book at age 1. I will be very curious to see how it comes out. I hope it is of high quality and resembles a baby book.

FANTASTIC way to journal for baby!
Qeepsake is a fantastic way to keep a journal for baby. The daily or weekly reminders (you can choose) are a good nudge for me to enter a long post or even just a quick thought. I answer 1-2 per week, but over the course of 40 expecting weeks, that’s 80 posts—and 80 memories that I absolutely would not write with a photo after the fact. I also LOVE the premium features. My spouse can contribute posts on his own, and I can add memories as they come; like baby’s first kick and spouse’s first Father’s Day. The flexibility means I’m more prone to write more. The app works very well. 2 areas for improvement: I would love the opportunity to further customize the photo book. I like the Artifact Uprising style—it’s a little more high end, so I may ultimately take my content created here and transfer it to another book. If Qeepsake partnered in the app with other photo book providers, that would be ideal, but seems like a simple enough work around for now. The second is on partially completed content. If you enter a bespoke post in the app, be sure to hit the save button! Or it will not be there when you click away to another app, which can be frustrating when you get a call or email. Overall though, extremely happy with the flexibility over other apps and the consistent text reminders to journal. The text feature is perfect for busy parents!

Could do more to help busy parents
The concept is great, but for a company that constantly tells you they are trying to make it easier for busy parents, they could make it easier and cheaper. As a new mom I loved the app and was adding new pictures weekly. But life gets in the way and over time I had a huge backlog of photos that I wanted to add. It was disappointing to find out that you have to pay more in order to backdate photos. When I finally had all my photos uploaded, life got in the way again and my membership ended before I could print my book. I couldn't believe that I had to pay for one more entire year of membership in order to print the book that was already ready and waiting in the app. Then you pay to print the book, on top of the one year membership fee. Adding the extra fees and barriers to getting a book finished doesn't really lend itself to the company's goal of helping busy parents.

Excited to finally have an easy way to organize and preserve memories on the go!
I’ve only been using Qeepsake for a couple of days now but have been looking for something to help me organize all of my family’s yearly memories into a tangible book. In the past I’ve used Shutterfly but I love the idea of being able to easily add to my book while I’m on the go so it’s not one big massive project to pull together once I finally do find the time to sit down at my laptop and work on it. I do feel a little overwhelmed trying to back log everything that’s happened in this year but once I’m get caught up it’s going to be so easy to maintain. Best advice is to review what options your plan offers you every once and a while so you make sure you’re taking advantage of all the tools available in the subscription.

Love But Needs Improvement
I’m thankful for this appt. Such a great idea. Texting is a life saver. Looking forward to some improvements though. I would really love to send Multi pictures at a time, similar to Facebook. Also I would be ok with getting asked SOME of the same questions over again if it were 6 months to a year later, but I have only been signed up with the app for 2 months. For instance I was asked, “What games does your daughter like to play?”. And I answer with what she plays with Dad, then with Mom etc. Then, like a week later, I was asked, “ What games does your daughter like to play WITH YOU?”. And I’ve been asked at least 3 times, “Has your daughter learned anything new recently?”. Which I would understand if she were younger, but she is six. MAYBE once a month would be the most. So more variety is needed. Update. I would love to be able to search by date.

Just Amazing!
Wow, I love this app! It is so nice to have a quick way to record precious memories with my baby. I love that while I’m nursing I can write a quick description, attach a photo, and it’s saved! Like most new moms, I take so many photos of my baby! But why? What am I going to do with them besides cry looking at them when I have to go back to work?! Well, now I have a place to bring meaning and life to each photo!! I just can’t say enough about this app, and I’ve told all my mommy friends about it. Two suggestions though: I’d like to be able to add more than one photo to a post. And it would be so cool if while you are adding entries, you could be seeing virtually how it’s filling up your baby book. Like have a digital view of the book you’re creating. It would keep me motivated to continue to write more and purchase the book in the end. Thanks Qeepsake!!!

Teenagers love this too!
I’m probably not the typical customer because my kids are older - 12 & 14. But I needed a way to document their daily lives without putting it all over social media. I do the occasional Facebook posts but only once in a while. Qeepsake reminds me to document for them. And the books!! I just gave them each their first book for their birthdays which are both in July. They absolutely loved getting those books - reading what I had written about them and laughing at the pictures. Sometimes I do throwback Thursday posts from when they were little. They really loved those. Anyway - this app is well worth the money. Great customer service too when I was having trouble with my email account. The books are fantastic quality and something we’ll always cherish. I highly recommend this app/company.

Qeepsake 👌🏼🙌🏼
Qeepsake has been the GREATEST gift I could ever give to myself, my, family, and my little ones. It takes me zero effort and I’m preserving memories every single day. My family absolutely loves receiving the recap emails and always sends me a note to tell me how much they love seeing and hearing about what the kids are up to. What I’m most excited for is my kids getting to see all the pictures and what their mom wrote about them every single day. I’m so happy that they’ll be able to look back and see how much I love them. And it’s amazing that my partner can answer the questions and Qeepsake collects all of our answers into one journal for each of our kids. So grateful that all of the funny and sweet daily moments that would otherwise be forgotten will be remembered forever.

Fantastic app, with only one annoyance
This app makes it super convenient to keep memories and pictures in one place and asks great questions that I wouldn’t think to document. My only annoyance is that when you want to attach a picture to an entry it will ask you to access the camera, you select a picture, then it adds it to a folder of the photos you’ve already used within the app. When you go to add another picture to a different entry, your only options are the photos you’ve already used, so you have to close the app, then re-open it to get access to all of your photos again, then repeat this process over and over for each photo you want to enter. This isn’t a big deal if you only want to upload one or two pictures, but if you are trying to catch up on a few days worth of entries it’s a little annoying. Otherwise, I love this app!

Effortless journal writing
There’s a such a great idea because we get alerts to remind us to write A journal entry. It’s ongoing and you can choose how often you want to be texted a question in a weeks time. If you have the membership. I recently looked back on how many journal entries I have put together over the years for my children and I can’t believe how fast they pile up. I have so many sweet memories recorded so that I will never forget and I’ll be able to pass down to my children to read. I think it’s so important to write in a journal and this is just an easier way to make it happen! I love that they will send a simple question to ask because it gets my brain going a lot better than if I were to just sit down and write on my own without a prompt.

Great idea. Needs work
I’m only a couple months into my book, but I’ve noticed a few quirks. First off, the repeat questions are frustrating. I paid for a membership in order to be asked questions to spark creativity. Being asked the same question over and over only sparks annoyance. I realize this is a unique issue, but since we are all on ‘stay home’ orders due to COVID. Questions about adventures we’ve gone on, new things my daughter has seen or what she does when strangers hold her are a little tough to swallow. The questions aren’t relevant in the current climate. I reached out to Qeepsake about this and was told that there would be a change in questions ‘next week.’ I haven’t seen a change, though I have see more repeat questions. There are also issues opening the app on several occasions. When I attempt to get into the app, the home screen pops up with the ‘Qeepsake’ logo for a brief moment then everything goes white. I’ve verified that I have the most current version of the app, so that isn’t the issue. It makes it difficult to notate those spur of the moment memories when I’m not able to open the app. I know I can text in messages, but that doesn’t solve the problem. I also don’t like that I can’t add more than 4 pictures to an entry. Even if they were on the opposite page, it would still be nice to be able to include them.

Love it but the app keeps crashing
It’s a great app for journaling but it’s been difficult lately because it keeps crashing on me to the point that I can’t make any new entries. Maybe an update is needed? I also have concerns regarding the format of the book. The journal is automatically put together for you, which is nice except for the fact that it might leave you with half a page entirely blank or with two pictures side by side where you wanted them on their own pages for example. If there is a way to allow us to edit the format, I would love to know how! This journal has so much potential and I’m loving using it. I just wish these things could be changed so it could be worth the money for me to print it.

Concept great but falls short
Concept is great. I love that I get texts because I’m way more apt to answer a few questions on my phone versus writing in an actual book. However this app has a long way to go. Hire some developers. Reach out to customers for feedback and make the app better! First don’t waste your money on buying the package for your spouse-they only get 1 question and for the first few months they were the exact same question (Yes you may have different answers but remember your book cost is based on pages and I doubt this app is advanced enough to place same questions on one page). Second, it’s annoying how often the app repeats questions. I think I got a question about tummy time once a week for a couple of months. I know the app says they strive to get the milestones appropriate but I just got a question about whether my child was sitting on his own. He’s almost one! (Yes the birth date is correct. The day before I got a question about his first birthday).

Good concept, poor execution
I love the idea but there is a lot of work needed on the execution. Pretty quickly, the questions get recycled or are just generic (ie. what did you do today). I expected thoughtful questions to help me keep track of things I might not have recorded myself, but I’m finding I skip all the questions and just record my own milestones which is not the point of the app. Also the app is buggy and not easy to navigate. It loses the information you type if you leave the app mid entry. It refreshes every time you open so I’m constantly scrolling. The other big problem I have is the book output. It is not customizable and the book is really clunky. If I actually printed a book with all the memories and pictures I want to save, it would be hundreds of pages because it’s formatted so poorly. If I hadn’t paid for a year, I would have stopped using this within the first month. Now I’m just using it to record and making my own book on another platform. I would not recommend or use again.

Qeepsake keeps it all together for me and my family!
Qeepsake has become some thing I first wondered if it’d be realistic or even possible to something I can easily and simply do, even with all five of my children. The app is so user-friendly, and the company keeps things very fun, is creative in it’s questions and helps so much to give me ideas of what to specifically write about my child. They allow it to be so special and personalized for each kid and I have shared this app with so many people and they love it as much as I do. If you have any doubts, let them go on this one as is actually worth the price, every single penny! My goal is to give each child their collection of Qeepsake books on their graduation day, and I know that is coming sooner than I think. Qeepsake helps me to habitually capture stories (and now photos too) as they are happening and there are so many stories that I would’ve forgotten to jot down otherwise. If you are too busy the day your question arrives you can skip and it allows you to make your schedule that works for you and your day! Wow!! Thank you Qeepsake for being just plain awesome! Please “Qeep” it up!! :) Cari

Horrendous editing experience
Honestly, it makes me seethe how horrible the editing software is. I’m going to pay Al this money for the documentation of my baby’s first 8 months of life (not going to make it the whole year with this app), and I would love to edit it so that it’s perfect, but that just isn’t a realistic option. It’s take a couple of minutes for every small change and you don’t even have control of photo placement. As a new mom, do I have 10-12 hours to edit this book? Yeah right. Wasnt this supposed to save me time and effort? If I had realized how bad it was I would have stopped using the app and swallowed the subscription fee early on this year but by the time I found out it was too late, there were too many precious memories stored. With something so special I want the best but I guess like other times in life, I will be settling for “ok.” There are some good ideas here but I Won’t be Resubscribing.

Qeepsake - keeping parents of young ones guilt free!
I love this app and have recommended it to many friends and family. It’s a great way to capture the little moments without feeling the pressure to sit down for hours at a time and scrapbook, because what mom or dad of young ones have time for that ?!?! The text questions are perfect because they get you thinking about things you might not have written about or just remind you to add an entry even if not in response to the questions that are asked. It’s also super easy to add an entry because there are multiple ways to do so: text, web based, app and social media. Lastly the designers are constantly asking the users how they can make their product better and seriously take our thoughts and ideas into consideration!

Love the Concept
I fell in love with this app during a trial. I have it set to ask me a question every night after I put my little one to bed, and it is nice to reflect on the day. I purchased the app because I thought it was such a great concept. Unfortunately, since purchasing it I am rarely using it. I find I am receiving many of the same questions I have already answered, and while I understand that babies change and therefore the answer could change... this is not really the case for the questions being asked. I am no longer excited to answer the questions each night as they have become boring and repetitive. I wish I would have just stuck to the free version. That being said, it is a great app otherwise and I do recommend it. But I am just not as excited for it as I was originally was and can’t see myself ordering a book as they look fairly basic.

Awesome app with great customer service!
I love this app! I have 8 children at the moment and will have more possibly in the future. It’s hard to keep track of everything and I have no time to put scrapbooks together. I love my babies though and I want to remember everything and have stuff written down so they can read it too. This app allows me to do things a little at a time and to go back and edit when I get a chance. I left a message for customer service requesting an option to pay monthly instead of just yearly in the future and almost immediately got an email where they changed the option where I was able to. I’m so impressed! I hope this app continues for years to come so I can make great books for all of my children!

Best app of its kind
I’m big on “memory keeping,” and have always tried to journal, scrapbook and keep a book of funny quotes that family and friends say. When I became pregnant, I immediately started scouring the internet for questions to answer for a baby book and a good way of memory keeping for the baby. I happened upon this app by happenstance, and tell all Mama’s (regardless if they’re pregnant or have older kids) about this app and how easy it is! We spend so much time juggling life. We all have expectoration a of sitting down to make a grand baby book, but life happens. This app has made memory keeping so easy, and has thoughtful prompts to help along the way. It’s worth every penny, and I’m usually the one gifting a subscription to my friends. Try it! You won’t regret it.

Love it! The modern day baby book/ journal
The daily questions make it so easy to log all the special little moments. Being able to just text my entry into the app is amazing. These things are really important to me but even I have found the traditional baby book to be daunting. I will probably end up making it in a year or so and will use Qeepsake to find all the content I want to put in there! The prompts are a huge help to get you going and then you can also add in any additional memories you want. You can add pictures too. The app works seamlessly and even the free version really gives you a lot. I ultimately upgraded to get a few features like backdating and texting pictures with my responses and it’s totally worth it to me.

Love idea/concept - not necessarily questions
I was one if the people who signed up before they even launched. I now have two children's journals going. My reason for not 5 stars is questions aren't always relevant seasonally or age appropriate and repeat too frequently sometimes. I think in the 2-3 Ive been asked like 8-10 times his favorite color. He was a baby I get does Alexander like snow in August - we don't live in Alaska how about ask that in January or February yet i got no questions about Christmas. Oh the other thing i wish you could do os add more than one photo per entry. When i want more than one, I cheat the system by using a collage maker. Overall I really like. Total lifesaver because I had all the grand intentions on doing the baby book but just never got to it. I plan to eventually order books just haven't yet.

Amazing idea! You’ll love it!
You won’t be disappointed with this app, it’s wonderful being able to send in a text with into you’d like to add or remember. I also love that they’ve added a collage section so that you can upload more than one photo to your memory. What I also love about this app is that you can skip as many days as you’d like and still go back and make them up in the app. I take tons of pictures, so when I get busy and miss days, I just match up the Qeepsake memory date questions to my photo library and I’m easily able to catch up on past questions. I’ve done this going back as far as nine months! I also love adding random memories and pictures just because. I can’t wait to order a book!

Excellent app for parents
I got this app because I’m in the one-and-done parenting category, and I wanted to make sure I could remember every part of this experience. I started with the free version and a decided to upgrade after the trial, and I ended up in the highest tier because I wanted my spouse to be able to contribute as well, which is an excellent feature. The FAQ are very helpful on the app, and it’s easy to use via text and just on the app. I’d love to see an additional category of milestone for the monthly birthday, but they have so many excellent events like holidays and even some questions to get me reflecting on the pregnancy itself. I look forward to ordering a book in the future too!

Love but needs more options
9/4/24 UPDATE: I would love the ability to duplicate an entry so that I can add an entry to both of my kids books. In other words, be able to save an entry in both of my kids books at one time instead of having to manually add it to each book. I was shown an ad for this app when scrolling on Instagram and after looking into it I had to give it a try because I’m terrible and maintaining journals and albums for my daughter. This has been great so far but I wish there was a way to give it some individuality as far as design. The cover and pages are pretty plain..you can’t even change the color of the fonts. In the end I love the simplistic design yet it would be nice to give it SOME individuality.

Awesome! Just do it!
I’ve tried a lot of baby-themed apps in the last year and this one is so worth it!! I paid for the monthly, I get two questions by text each evening. I will say the cost of the book on top of the monthly charge can be a bit ridiculous, but I did wait until there was over 50 entries to include in the book, so the cost was over $60 I believe; might have been $70... BUT STILL, I’m typically a very creative person and enjoy putting together scrap books even, just NOT POST-partum - I was just exhausted every day! Having this app send me a question by text and being able to respond by text was SO EASY! I could add the related pictures in later on... it was perfect! So easy and the product was worth the cost I think!

None of My Children Have Baby Books
I’m not exactly the scrapbooker and frankly struggle to actually print out pictures to put in frames. As a mom who feels likes she’s trying to squeeze it all into a day but also balancing being present in the moment to soak in the awesomeness of her children, I really appreciate these small reminders to document the special moments. Which most of the time, aren’t even monumental, they’re just full of joy watching them grow. I started with Qeepsake early on, so I give the app 5 stars because I’ve seen how far they’ve come. I know it will keep getting better but at this point, they’re still ramping up, so not everything is perfect but nothing that should stop you from signing up for annual package.

Worth the Wait!!
I’ve been a Qeepsake user since the beta version... and have always loved it, despite a few small flaws. The Qeepsake support team is so amazing and responsive to ideas and suggestions... I always get a response back within a day acknowledging my issue or suggestion. With the app rollout I noticed a few improvements to the desktop site as well (newest missed questions on top! Skip a question in the text format! Yahoo!). I’ve already edited and added journal entries in the app... which was truly the only thing Qeepsake has been missing. I’m SO thrilled with this release. It’s clean, simple to use, and will most definitely keep me (even) more up to date on my journals moving forward. Thanks Qeepsake!!!

Great so far except
I’ve been using Qeepsake for about 2 months now. The questions are hit or miss but having something to remind me everyday to capture memories as my baby grows is really nice. Using the app I find there are a few things that can be improved: 1) the search function doesn’t work (I tried to search by key words but it would always return “no results”). When you have a lot of entries, not having this function is inconvenient; 2) shortly after I switch to another app (usually to pick out the picture or pictures I want to upload), I would lose my progress when I switch back to Qeepsake app. By “shortly” we’re talking about within 15-20 seconds. I had background app refresh on but it apparently can’t run in the background.

So far so good
I’ll probably post an update after I give birth, but for now let me say, it’s been a wonderful app. Here’s my story: my spouse and I had this pregnancy confirmed the SAME week we had our cross country move confirmed. We decided we were still going to accept the move, thinking it would be ok, since we wouldn’t have to worry about a baby. Well… we were a little naïve. This move has been anything but easy to do whilst pregnant. In fact, it’s been crazy, stressful, lonely at times, and absolutely frustrating. Having this app has helped me step out of the chaos and remind me that I have a little partner (or Little Boss) for life! This little one has been a humbling reminder to take in the good moments in life. I’m almost going to miss us being so attached as we are now. Anyway, all of you prospective parents (mom-to-be; dad-to-be; parent-to-be; alternative title..) just know you’re giving yourself and your little one a wonderful gift. I hope that by using this app, you’ll find it a wonderful way to find joy and hope in your life, as well!

Put an end to guilt
Since the birth of my second child I have actually been losing sleep due to the guilt I feel for not recording more of her “firsts” and taking photos of her adorable-ness. The days go by too fast, and while I know I’ll miss these days, I honestly can’t find the time to sit down and journal, print photos, and create the baby albums I dream of. Qeepsake has saved me!! I’m so delighted with how easy it is to use, and I’m already organizing photos and memories for both my children, going back several years! I can’t wait to see the photo books at the end and finally be free of the constant dread that I’m going to forget and miss out on saving the priceless moments. Thank you so much Qeepsake!!

Starts out awesome them keeps surprising you with costs
After a trial period (which you don’t know you’re in) it all of a sudden goes you need to upgrade or you will be downgraded to only one question per week. So I’m like fine. I will just add stuff manually. Then yesterday I find out I’ve maxed out on the number of photos I can upload for the month. Then just now I got a message saying I have to upgrade to a paid version in order for any spontaneous memories to be saved. Now I’m like I’ve done all this work saving memories and for what...to be forced to pay a monthly fee. If it were a dollar or two ok maybe but this isn’t worth it. I think it would’ve been fine if I had known in advance but it just keeps surprising me with its limitations. I just now got so frustrated with this last message that it drove me to come straight here and leave a review. And I normally don’t like to leave bad reviews unless really bad.

Really Great App for Easy Way to Track big and small moments
I’ve been using keepsake for 4 years and onto my 3rd kid and I have to say it’s perfect for easily capturing those big, but more importantly small moments that you may forget to tell your kids about later on. I also just printed the books and they are great quality and a great way to spend our year end being reminded of all the great things that happened throughout the year. Plus I know it will be something they’ll be able to pull out when they’re older and reminisce. I love the ability to add pictures and text via text it makes it so easy to remember.

Thoughts after 2 years....
In the first 5 years of being a mom, I always had a goal to write in journals for my kids. But I only did that a handful of times. In five years. Like literally less than 10 entries for all 4 of my children combined. Now I have 5 kids, and in the last (almost) two years, I have written over 825 journal entries for my kids! Because of Qeepsake! I used to do the questions a lot more, but now I mostly do spontaneous entries, because I'm already in the habit of adding funny or cute memories and pictures to Qeepsake. It's so easy and feels like I can just write a line or two instead of having to fill a page.

Best app ever!
I absolutely love this idea! I’ve been using this app starting at about 7 months into my pregnancy (wish I would have found it sooner!) but what an incredible way to keep track of milestones and experiences through pregnancy, birth and baby growing up. Totally worth the upgraded plans! Plus is great, but Premium is the best! I love that they send you questions that you normally wouldn’t think about, and what better way to do it than with text messages... it’s genius! And I especially love the feature of being able to upload photos with each memory. I can’t wait to order/print a book!! And great customer service when I had questions!

Easy way to record special moments!
I was so bad at keeping a baby with my first because she had such severe acid reflux, that I never had a moment I wasn’t holding her to fill it out! I knew with my second that I needed to find something that I could get all the important photos and memories in easily. I always have my phone on me, so this was just the perfect answer!! I love that I can add unlimited photos with little notes and I will be purchasing the expandable book for both of my kids! Love love love! I felt so terrible not writing down the date my oldest started walking in her baby book, but with Qeepsake, I know I’ll have all of the major milestones recorded for both of my kids!! ❤️❤️❤️

Great program and app
If you’re a busy parent, you know baby books are impossible to keep up with! Qeepsake is the answer to this. Get texts/prompts each day to help you remember all the details about your kid. Without the app asking, when would you ever stop and think about what cute phrase they’re saying lately or what phase of “I must have this food” they’re in? The app is great and gives you chances to add photos and memories spontaneously. The Qeepsake subscription also pulls from social media when you use a hashtag. You can turn these memories into a printed book too. Qeepsake has helped me not have that mom guilt about not writing in the baby book after month 7 or 8!

Good concept but repetitive questions
I really like the idea of keeping the electronic journal and make a book later concept. However, the questions are very repetitive(same question would be asked not only more than once but couple times). There is no way you can search a certain question because it is not categorized, you have to go through all the entries to edit the entry. Photos too, wish there is a gallery view so that I don’t add same photo twice. They also sort of force customers to get subscriptions because the limitation of book orders. I don’t like it that you have to get a year subscription at a time. I ended up with ordering a traditional baby book anyway. This is sort of wasting money and time. Would not recommend it to any friends.

Way overpriced for what you get.
You would think that after paying the $35 annual fee, there would be some sort of discount on actually purchasing the books. My book for the first six months alone is going to cost $91. So essentially for the first year of my daughter’s life, I’m going to be spending over $200 which is sort of insane for a baby book. It’s a good concept but the prompt questions are totally random and tend to repeat. There are also little to no questions based on age/milestones. So I’m basically making all of my own entries which is fine except for the fact that I’m not exactly sure what I’m paying $200 for other than a photo book which I can get much cheaper with a service like Shutterfly that will offer discounts. As a busy mom of two, I love the concept of Queepsake but the value here is way lacking.
