The app is a wonderful idea, and I think it’s all very well done. The problem I personally am experiencing is two-fold: 1) despite all the notification settings being turned on, it won’t tell me when the questionnaires become available, nor when they are about to expire. 2) the feedback option in the app, the place to relay this problem to the developers, doesn’t work for me. It comes up with a failure/error message. I don’t check this app as often as is required to fill out the questionnaires. It doesn’t say how often the questionnaires appear (weekly? More? Idk), and I never get a notification. Please fix that glitch.
The app is easy to use. I find the questionnaires and tests well explained. There’s a bug on one of the tests where if you select one of the options “I don’t remember,” etc, you are then prevented from tapping on the box to enter a number. Also, the feedback section of the app gave me an error.
The app seems to have a lot of bugs and does not flow well. Doesn’t allow you to fill out missed tasks and now I’m locked out from being able to further participate for an unknown reason. I really like the idea of what this study is trying to do and really want to help support it but the app itself doesn’t function well for me. The gratitude videos serious are really nice. I think once the bugs are worked out and the app is more user friendly I think a lot of great change can be made.
I am 2 weeks into a trial. The app is very buggy, which will bias results. This morning I got 3 duplicate push notifications. Everyday, it says I missed yesterday’s period, but I have only missed one day so far. I check in roughly the same time everyday. Today it showed me a bunch of new tasks, but the are all red and won’t allow me to do them. It took me 9 days before I realized there is a back arrow to correct accidental data entry. A great idea with. Lot of promise, but data isn’t trustworthy until UX fixes are made. Should have a baseline trail to measure accuracy.
This app explores the medicinal and overall beneficial side-effects of psilocybin, but it is more about improving the collective health of it’s users. By contributing to this app’s research, there will be more information to make mushrooms legal for the people that need them- as well as a self boost in mental and physical stimulation due to participating in the study.
I don’t write reviews, ever. Get this app and support a fantastic cause. The more research and data we provide, the better we can understand just how incredible psychedelics are.
How frustrating to have an app that’s designed for daily use/tracking and now I only get an error message (despite uninstalling/reinstalling and all other tips mentioned). I’ve been completely unable to access anything since the update and about to quit trying and find another app with a reliable backup! The error message says: type “bool” is not a subtype of type ‘iterable’.
I downloaded and when I click signup it prompts me with a button that just says “ok” with no other txt, then tells me there’s an account made with my email, I have no option to sign in with an email, to sign up with an email, no way of participating other than accepting the terms and conditions then clicking that ok button….
I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled 7 times with the same result. Every time I go through all the survey questions the app stops at the “You can say no” question/screen and won’t advance. If I click the green button to continue and then just let the phone sit and wait, the app eventually crashes. I’m on iPhone 12 Pro Max.
I love the concept of this app and really would like to use it, but every time I hit “Sign Up” it pulls up a loading screen for awhile and then a message that says “The request timed out.”
The two test is incredibly unresponsive to all taps and only registers them if you slowly tap between the two circles. It will lag a bunch and won’t count any taps if you go as fast as you can. Seems incredibly inaccurate if you ask me. Fix the lag in the taps.
I personally have very uncomfortable tinnitus, once I heard Paul’s very intelligent arguments in Joe Rogans podcast I was instantly intrigued. This is a pure and great direction for people to pursuit.
Try to sign up and get “Sign up error | please, check internet connection and try again” Internet is obviously working because I’m able to leave this review…
Couldn’t even get past registration. Keep getting notification that the server times out doesn’t matter if I’m WiFi or on cell service. Too bad, was interested in contributing.
Was looking forward to using the app but it gets stuck in a David checking loop in multiple spots and makes the app unusable even after completely closing and reopening
I can’t sign up, every time I try to sign up it’s just keeps telling me “that email is already in use”🤷🏻♀️ what email? I’ll try in a few days just to be fair.
I was really looking forward to the gratitude study. Yet, the videos are horrible and don’t stream. Pausing them and or backing them up doesn’t help. The videos don’t stream! I’m so disheartened
OMG. The idea is amazing but the app is unusable, the videos lag so badly, can’t watch them. I guess it’s overloaded because of JRE... please store your videos on a CDN or AWS ‼️
Expect Last question on demographic survey for microdose.me to display a question Actual Blank screen and unable to complete survey. Tried force closing twice and restarting survey. iPhone X. Latest version.
Downloaded 10/21, saw microdose.me (both offerings) suspended until Nov. Muddled thru Gratitude. So what now? Still getting reminders email to participate…. Seems pointless to keep on App Store w/o further updates or statement of intent. Sorry, it was a great idea
