There are many issues with this app. One cannot view jobs they have already accepted. This alone makes the app significantly less useful to me. If a job covers several days, it may be listed as only one day. I have accepted jobs that I have had to release because a lack of information caused scheduling conflicts. Any notes left by the teacher for the sub are generally cut off and cannot be expanded in the app. Subs do better jobs when we are properly informed. I generally only check ReadySub on the computer for these reasons.
When I started subbing, I was told by our district this app would be able to do everything from viewing jobs to accepting jobs, etc. Essentially everything you can do on the website, you could do on the app. That was absolutely incorrect information. This app doesn’t tell you anything except available jobs and 99% of the time it doesn’t do that because the jobs are taken so quickly in our area. I receive notification through email and not through the app so as of right now, there is no reason I should even have the app. Once the developer finds a way to have a mobile site, this app won’t be useful.
This app is straightforward yet has wayyy too many flaws. For some reason it signed me out and when I tried to sign back in it said my email or password was incorrect . I was literally triple checking to make sure it was right but it still wouldn’t let me back in. This app as well dosent let me do anything else other than see the jobs, not at all like how I can see everything on their online website. This app needs a lot of work.
If I had the option, I wouldn’t even give this app 1 star!! Doesn’t do or show anything!! In settings, why isn’t the option for “TEXT”notifications offered for NEW available jobs?
This app is very user friendly and straight forward. Makes accepting jobs so easy!!! However would be a 5 star app if it had a calendar feature! I would love to be able to review my upcoming jobs and when I have availability as quickly as I can accept jobs!
I hate to see that reviews from 3years ago address the same issues the app still has. You cannot view any assignments once accepted and that’s literally what the app should be used for. All you can do is accept and hope it included all of the details you need. You can’t even manage your setting/preferences through the app. Better off logging into the regular website.
This app is useless because I receive notifications of available job through email only. It would be great to have immediate text notifications like other systems do, for example, Kelly Educational Services. Kelly sends an immediate text for jobs as they become available. That would be the best way to improve the ReadySub App. Until you do that, the app is a total waste of time.
the app is limited on what you can do, and does not show available jobs. when i log onto the website there are job, but 90% of the time they do not show up in the app. Email is the only quick way to know if there are jobs posted i guess, which is really inconvenient. this app could be great like the other subbing services that are out there, but it’s just not. would give zero stars if i could
I loved how I could easily accept/check for new jobs with one click, but I’m very disappointed that is the only thing I can do. I would love to be able to review jobs I have booked to double check information. I have to log onto the website to do that.
Just added this app 10 days ago and so far I have not received one notification on my iPhone OR iPad. I have checked all of my settings and everything is turned on. I am missing employment opportunities because of this. Please fix ASAP or guide me into the proper direction.
The app does not allow me to see my scheduled jobs, app is only useful if I’m specifically requested or happen to go into it when a job becomes available. To review my schedule from my phone I must go to the website, which can be time consuming. Would love to see an update to the app to be able to do everything from the app that can be done from the website.
I get notices that jobs are available but I can not accept any through the AP. It says My email and password is not recognized. However I can accept jobs, if they are still available, if I log in on my laptop. There is no way to troubleshoot with the AP, change passwords, etc. it only lets me do that on my laptop. So, the AP is only good for letting me know a job is available.
The app does next to nothing. There is no calendar or any way to review jobs you’ve accepted. Notifications from the app don’t work, I have to check my email and texts to see them. My students could’ve designed a better app for a D+. ReadySub should honestly be ashamed to call this a product. I’m so upset with my district for switching over to this. Boo!
My husband and I have this app. I set them the same way and we have the same type of phone with the same settings. He is getting text messages for available jobs but I am not. I received one message the first day I installed the app but none after and he has received four. I called the school but they have no idea why I’m not getting texts.
-Need to be able to see jobs I’ve accepted Often teachers write details in the “notes” section, but once I hit accept, I can’t go back to see the notes, the start time or any details. -Would be helpful if I could filter jobs by location or set preferences so I only see the jobs close to where I live.
This app used to function for me. However, it has not function for me for the past several months. Please fix it. Or have the company, ReadySub, post an announcement on their website that it doesn’t work anymore so we can offload it and stop hoping that we will have jobs up appear on our phones.
The app doesn’t work for me on my phone. Others I have talked to has said the same. I have open the internet browser on my phone just to accept any jobs
If I could give 0 stars I would. Doesn’t even show the jobs you have, doesn’t alert you that there are jobs available, no calendar. My school district used to use frontline Aesop and it was 100% better, it was great! Cost like $3 a month, never missed a job posting.
Love that I can accept a job easily, but then there is no way to view the jobs after that. It would be awesome if there was a “my jobs” tab on the app as well.
My school uses ready sub, I am a teacher. I thought it would be useful to download the app to do my sub requests, but it’s only available for use by subs. Seems pretty dumb to only have it used for some people in the system.
I like the simple system it has in place right now but I don’t like using the app since the website has everything on it, app needs some serious updates which are not that hard to implement into it.
Have not been able to log in for days due to unknown log in error. Checked for errors on email and password multiple times and no known errors. Please fix, very inconvenient.
I need to be able to see my ReadySub calendar. The only thing in this app is the available jobs list. I’d like to know if I have accepted other jobs on nearby days or during other hours on a day. I also need access to the job confirmation.
Due to a change by the county schools in the state where I reside, I am compelled to use Ready Sub. This app is very low quality compared to others. There’s no interface with my Google calendar, either. In my opinion, you need to improve. Low marks from me.
What is the point of having this app? It doesn’t notify you about new jobs, which is the whole point of the app! How in the world can this be so bad and yet it’s the app we’re encouraged to use. Come on.
I am a parapro in a county that does not provide computers to parapros. I have to do things on my phone, so I was excited to find an app, just to find out it’s only for the subs.
This app needs to be updated to allow the user to view the Dashboard and calendar. I cannot see what I’m booked for, where I’m going, or where I’ve been.
It never shows me anything app is virtually blank. I've uninstalled and reinstalled still nothing. Frustrating. Shouldn't it's show the sub positions I know I've accepted?
The ReadySub mobile app allows you to manage your substitute assignments on the go. You can view and accept jobs from your iPhone or iPad, and best of all, for free.
