Reel maker

Hello I gave this app five stars because if you can’t have social media, this is the perfect app to make your videos and the other app yeah, you can make your videos and put them together and do filters and stickers and all that but you only have soundtracks in those soundtracks or so boring to me but on this app Reel Maker you can do all those combined. I think you should get this app whoever made this keep the work up.👍

Clumsy

First off, I saved my reel several times, yet after two hours of repetitive, annoying work, it was nowhere to be found. Second, because title sequence has three sections, I had to reset font and color of font for each section. That doesn’t sound so bad, but because the controls are so clunky, I had to do it over and over to get it even close to what I was shooting for. I remembered why I abandoned this app the last time I attempted using it. Granted, I am a relative newbie (but not an idiot). Then the final insult…After fighting and tweaking and redoing and saving AGAIN, come the big reveal: It isn’t THERE. All that displays are my original photographs. Not the reel. I’m short a few clumps of hair from TEARING them out. Eesh.

I love it

It’s a great app, I love the transitions, the music. Just, everything about it makes me happy that this exists and the name is so easy to remember, it’s exactly what it is. A reel maker. And a good one at that. You also don’t have to pay for it to be good so just go download it already.

Not great

Been shopping around trying to find the best value. 99 cents for the first month is great. But the videos continue to start while I’m trying to edit text. Makes it very frustrating. The UI is a bit confusing as well. Why is there a check mark at the top of the screen that will exit the video, when I’m editing a specific element of the video. It’s like the top UI layer is inside an actual component, so instead of taking me out of the video component I am trying to edit, it takes me out of the video completely.

Free version doesn’t seem to do much

Not a lot of templates; each picture is like 3 seconds long and if you want the images to flash faster you’d have to trim each picture/clip manually. I didn’t see the feature where the pictures are set to music to match the rhythm in a way that shows pictures for differing lengths of time each depending on the music. It just appears to create a slideshow of sorts to go with the music rather than an creative reel. If the former is what you’re looking for, then this app will serve your purposes.

DO NOT USE

If I could give 0 stars I would. This app is awful, if you need to make reels, go elsewhere. They will take your money and you might not even get your video. I was making a reel and once I was finally done, they made me pay in order to save it. I paid and then while it was saving the app started glitching, then after waiting over 15 minutes it did not save, and timed out. When I reopened the app nothing was there and now I have to start all over. Now I paid for no reason… terrible app, use another.

It’s a four star because it only lets you make like one video which is kind of annoying and I wanna make multiple because this app is really good. I’m not going to lie because you creators of this app y’all like really good so keep on doing you but please let us make more videos. It gets annoying when we can’t.

So easy a normal person can use it so far

I’ve been able to start making pretty decent little reels for my business’s account thanks to this app. So far it’s been easy enough to learn as long as I take the time to learn it

Very helpful

A few annoying things like if you save you can’t go back and keep working (not that I can tell), but overall, this app is great for making reels with your own audio. I had to start over three times. But in the end it was worth the trouble.

Great

Love this app. Changed my life. Helped me get custody of my kids back from my ex (in your face Nancy). That feel I showed in court really changed the judges mind. I wish I could give this app a 10/5 but math prevents me from doing that.

Seriously 😒

This app is ok I guess, but when you download the app and make a reel and click save, it doesn’t actually save it! And I think that’s just so frustrating because you spend all that time making a reel and it doesn’t actually save. So I say can you please fix it it will littmake everything so much better! Please and thank you!😐😬👍

Would have bought but…

I would have bought this - had the first reel I made saved how it kept showing … the format for font was diff than it showed when it saved which messed up the entire reel Then I tried re-saving and it was $6 a week / what so you can take my money and still fk up my reels? What a waste of time

The worst!

Don’t waste your time or money! The app crashes and does not save anything that you may have been working on, so you are just out of luck. After numerous emails to the company, there has been zero response. There are too many other apps out there available to waste your time on this piece of trash.

My experience

Every time I use this app my phone overheats and in most cases I get an error message (after working on the app for periods of time) and it doesn’t save. When the app works it’s great. But I’ve had too many untimely issues with this application

Can’t make a single video

Downloaded and paid the membership and can’t even make one single video with 25 pictures. There’s a bug that causes the crash and furthermore, it unselect pictures that I select from my photo album.

A reels maker that don’t allow you to record yourself? you can only choose from videos in your library. STUPID…. you might want to add that feature because the only other app that allows you to record yourself is Instagram or TikTok. step it up!
