Amazing Game!
This is one of the best games I have ever played! It’s a little bit difficult to balance the 4 pillars of your kingdom (church, people, defense, money) but that’s what makes the game so interesting to play. You have to be able to make smart choices in order to carry out the different storylines. ⭐️To all of the people out there that think this game is bad because it’s “too complicated” or “Totally random” or “satanic garbage”, why don’t you try using your brains? This game has a wonderfully written storyline, you just have to be smart enough to figure it out. Yes, you may die in the game a lot, but isn’t that the point? It’s a decision based game, so if you aren’t smart enough to make the good decisions in game then you shouldn’t complain. Plenty of other people have figured it out.⭐️ Also, finding out how to upgrade all of your items to get some really cool endings was fun. Other than (probably just me) not being able to figure out the first death (in the top left corner listed in-game), this is overall an amazing game and I would recommend it to everyone who loves a good challenge.

Reigns Her Majesty-ish
This “game” took me a while to figure out how to play but I’ve come up with a good answer that won’t have me shot and won’t have me praised too much until I face an untimely death by a crowd. “Reigns Her Majesty” is a sequel to the first Reigns game. Basically, it’s a strategy game of logic where all choices will result in your present time as a Queen until your death. Depending on how long you live for, the choices you make will eventually get you killed. The goal of the game is simple: You have four icons that fill up in yellow. One is a cross (representing the Church), A person (your reputation within your kingdom), A sword (your strength), and a dollar signs (your money). With these four icons, you mustn’t fill them too high or too low otherwise it will result in death. You also have objectives that you can finish with whichever Queen you are, and if you do these you get rewards that go in your pouch that get saved for later and can be used when the pyramid icon flashes above your pouch when available. During this gameplay, you meet a character named the All-Mother (basically a Goddess of Paganism) and she reels you in with special items, and advice in which you can either serve her or serve your own God (being the Church). Watch out though as the more you hang out with the All-Mother the less your reputation with the Church can dramatically decrease. Overall it’s a great game and fun to play.

Basically the same as the original. If you buy 1 don’t buy the other
I want to love this game… But it is to random. Your decisions don’t seem to have a predictable outcome. You have no idea whether the outcome is going to be good or bad it’s pretty ambiguous. Which is quite frustrating. I don’t think I’ve been able to live more than 15 years in this game (which is only 15 decisions which takes about 5 minutes.) That being said it is a fun game. I just can’t seem to get very far in the game sometimes just for decisions and then I’m dead and I didn’t really seem like there was an obvious answer. Note to the developers: When you make a decision-there is a small or large circle above. It would be great to see if that circle was green or red to know how they’re going to handle it. It’s not taking the fun out of the game it’s taking the frustration out. Also it would be nice if you could add a little more variety to the sayings to help distinguish one reign from the next. It would be also neat if you could add a swipe up or down to add choices. Instead of just yes no right or left. Perhaps those choices could be more or less extreme. I.e. swipe up strongly agree swipe right slightly agree swipe left slightly disagree swipe down strongly disagree Or something.

More Reigns!
The first game was an instant right swipe when I played it and this sequel expands on that to make an even better game. The game reprises it’s mechanics and is pretty simple. You make binary decisions by swiping left or right and try to balance the powers of the kingdom until you die or lose control and then repeat. Beneath the surface of the simple management game lies hidden secrets for you to uncover to find the true meaning of everything. Reigns: Her Majesty uses its unique mechanics to tell a strange cryptic story, which I’ve only scratched the surface after one play through, and make an addictive game that you can always come back to. 5/5 Unique, entertaining, and addictive. Reigns: Her Majesty perfectly uses the mobile medium to make a perfect game.

An RNG game that wastes your time.
I played this game 5 whole times over to try and get the “true” ending, and each and every time I got screwed over by a different element of rng. The first 3 times I got completely screwed by the time capsule, since it just never showed up, and I’m sure I didn’t swipe past it by accident. The 4th time I activated the eclipse, but I died before I could upgrade the holy bone with the witch, so I had to restart AGAIN. And this final, most recent time, I had every other item fully upgraded, and i literally couldn’t finish the game, because every. Single. Time. That I got into the maze and looked for the altar, I just got railroaded into the wishing well. I got in the maze and into the wishing well 6 times. And when I died after 2000, the game forced me to reset. This game is so insanely reliant on rng that you can spend literal days trying to get an ending, and still not get it. That being said, it is fun when you don’t get screwed. Please, just fix the bug where the time capsule just never comes back and blocks all your progress. And if you can, make it so that the wishing well just doesn’t show up after you have the other 4 items upgraded.

Too meta for its own good
This game is fun but misses the mark on a few things - mainly on the pacing of the player experience and on the evolution of the story. The game can be very funny and is at its best when it’s not trying to be cryptic. I just wanted to play the game where I am the queen and am put in interesting situations, but the game kept getting in its own way. When it started getting all meta it lost me. In addition, I wonder how much playtesting was actually done, as I found myself several times in situations that felt like dead ends (they had low probability and/or cryptic solutions). The emphasis seems to have been put in the narrative, at the expense of the actual game/puzzle design, leading to far too many situations where I felt like I was making no progress at all. There is a “fail safe” mechanic that in theory allows you to manipulate your play through to achieve a higher chance of specific events occurring but it is tedious, hard and sloppy to use. I would say the devs missed the mark on making a better Reigns, so I recommend you see this as a weird experiment done with the Reigns system, not as Reigns 2.

Pretty good
I got this and reigns to play on a plane ride a while back, and haven’t yet been let down! Great replay value and new stuff shows up often. You basically answer questions by swiping left or right, and the outcome of the decision will affect how long you stay alive in the game. Pretty ok story. I’m a straight white male, so I don’t think the woke feminist ideals are aimed at me, however, I still enjoyed the dynamics of the interaction between people. The only thing I can say I don’t enjoy is the portrayal of the church. Yes, at that time, the church sucked pretty badly. Still, as a Christian in today’s climate, I don’t love how secular media is showing only the worst sides of the church. That being said, it’s a part of the game and it makes it interesting! I would highly recommend this and any other entry into the reigns franchise to anyone, regardless of political bias, religion, gender, or anything in between. These are dope games!!

Lacking
The game is executed well but it’s not what I expected based off of reviews and category from the App Store. What I want people to know is this game is not an rpg. This is not about making decisions and role playing it is a meter management game where you can basically ignore the story because winning and losing rely completely on managing 4 meters that increase or decrease based on decisions. Te decisions are presented to you through a rng card mechanic that no matter what you decide can end in your death based on how low or high your meters are. It does not reward making decisions that seem “best” but rather what satisfies the meters. All in all I found the game to be disappointing and I didn’t enjoy it past the first hour or so. It’s just a slew of death after death when you follow a role playing play style. This game is definitely a strategy game and a very limited and repetitive one. I’m sure this game has appeal to a lot of people but I have played hundreds of phone games and this just didn’t do it for me.

Love the game but glitchy!!
I’ve been playing Reigns Her Majesty for a long while, now. I love the game but since the recent update, there’s been a lot of weird bugs. Things like cards being out of order and appearing after unlocking a character (the frog, for example, showing up with the options “next animal” and “leave the zoo,” both of which do nothing). I hope the game can be fixed, soon, and I can raise my star rating. Until then, it only gets a 2/5 from me, which is a pity. It’s just so frustrating when my choices don’t mean anything because the game decides to add characters back in after I’ve done the correct actions to “get rid of them,” so to speak. :/ Please fix the inconsistencies!! I love this game but my choices being reversed due to a glitch is so frustrating!!! My only other gripe is the push of “feministic ideals.” I greatly dislike the random owl card talking about my female soul and whatever else. It feels very polarizing and could do without.

Much worse than the original
As someone who has played the original game many times over, this sequel is a complete dumpster fire. The consequences of your actions are mostly unpredictable and are frequently uniformly beneficial or harmful, whereas in the original, decisions are almost always tradeoffs between the different factions. Additionally, the writing is often amateurish in both the prompts and the queen’s responses, which resemble those of a stereotyped teenage girl rather than royalty. When I looked it up, it turns out that Reigns: Her Majesty was actually written by Leigh Alexander, a notorious radical feminist with no previous experience working on video games. Beyond the quality of the writing, this also shows up in the bias of the decisions. Whereas the church was just one of four factions in the original game, with both positive and negative aspects, here they are uniformly portrayed in a negative light and oppose decisions supported by all the other factions, including decisions they should by all reason support.

I love this game right!!! Ok, so when I was playing it I thought there was a scary glitch in it so I deleted it.... And then a hour later I downloaded it again and then when it got to the glitch part I calmed down and then when I almost finished the game, the glitch part wasn’t a glitch!!! It was part game! But yea good game though 5 ⭐️’s and also I kinda like that that shows feminine mythology and of course I am a fan of it especially when colored feminine mythology 👸🏿🧝🏾‍♀️🧜🏾🧚🏾‍♀️🕊🦄🌺! But even though I kind of hated one thing is that the cook that was accused of being witch was Dark skinned and I am too so that’s one thing I don’t really like tho.. But you guys are awesome!!

Really great game
I have played this game for a little over a month now and its fantastic! The game play is solid nothing repeats to the point of boredom and all the characters are unique with there own little quirks and such. The game do with explaining things more i have collected alot of items over my many “Reigns” (heh get it) but other than that not much is explained on there uses or there values to you or others. I did upgrade my clock but that was two weeks of trying to hand it to everyone and getting ridiculed for it 😅. In short its a great game better than the first game hands down! Great game guys keep up the amazing work! :3

Reigns: Her Majesty
I think the overall game is great, and without improvement, is still almost impossible to find fault in. However, (spoiler alert), the ending was kind of...odd. I thought that a great game should have an even better end, but I was thoroughly disappointed when it said the game was created to find customer preferences. It had nothing to do with the overall game, and if anything, should have been said at the credits. I think the ending should have you take over the role of the All-Mother. You could get a new set of items to manipulate the kingdom, except more goddess-like. More cards, same people, but I think it would be interesting to see what the king and Cardinal think of the Queen being the True Goddess. Or, for a different ending, you could have the Queen explaining to the people that she will become an acolyte to serve her mother. Other than that, the game is fantastic. I haven’t been able to stop playing since I got it, and it’s really time-consuming. I hope that if you don’t like my ideas, you can create your own. I’m just so disappointed about the ending. Thanks!

Game-ending glitch
I love this game, but I can’t give five stars because it’s way too glitchy and picky. One time, I had all four endgame items, when I died due to maxing out the church meter. I used the tablet, and the cardinal replaced it with the sacred bone in my inventory. When I tried to get the tablet back, the witch claimed that I already had it. I thought the icon must have just been messed up, so I triggered the end of the game...but the all-mother said I didn’t have the tablet. Game ended with no “good” ending. Wasted hours on a glitched playthrough. When I tried again, I died after the time capsule was discovered but before getting the USB...and the time capsule cards won’t come up again, so I guess I just lose. Way too frustrating.

Love it! Glitches?
I remember playing the original Regins and the game was super fun and quirky with its card/2 choices mechanic I’ve only gotten it today and began to scratch the surface of the story. Love the changes and new charters in this one! I noticed a bit of a glitch? Though I’m not sure if it’s intentional whenever I get to the all mother cards the one with her eyes, the mystic background or the lady. The game seems to glitch out the screen blinks etc. But once I get through her cards the game is back to normal. Update: I found it out the glitch I was talking about was intentional it adds more character and detail to the all mother nice touch!

Finally a Clever Game
This game is soo creative and soooo amazingly organized it is hard to believe it exists. The concept of making important decisions is funner than you can imagine. Although the graphics are pretty plain they are made in a creative way, a way I don’t think I have ever seen. This comes with challenges and focus points that make it even more enchanting. This game is sooo much better then Sims mobile, My tamagotchi forever, and board kings combined. If you want a quick game that you can put down in minutes go play Sims Mobile. If you want a game you can never put down chose this.

I loved this game, which can either be played at an extremely shallow one-shot or very deep multi-game level. The game rewards you for casual play, but the end game is fantastic. Actually finding the end game is pretty challenging, since you can only experiment a tiny bit every life. I wish the game didn’t punish you for testing out object effects, but you can use that mechanism to your advantage if one stat gets too high. I actually needed a walkthrough to make sense of several parts of the game, and there’s still content I haven’t found. So good.

I want to rate higher, but it doesn't save!
When I open the app it works wonderfully, but if I close out of it for even a second, all my progress is lost, and the app is completely reset. I've tried deleting it and downloading it a million times. It seems other people have the same issue but no bug fix yet. What I've had the opportunity to play has been engaging, even more than the original (that I gave up on because the dungeon kept killing me). So far I haven't encountered anything as time sensitive and crucial in Her Majesty, although there are some challenging aspects that I stumbled into mastering. Plus I love the ability to cheat death (for a time). I have had many less queens upon starting this game than kings in the original. I just wish the game didn't reset, so I could play in more than one hours long sitting.

Fun but too condescending
I thought the game was fun enough but as a woman I felt that the feminist message was a little condescending. If you act non feminist in the game it is generally better for you, but the game brings up the word “feminism” as if it was something that existed back then. They even talk about intersectional feminism. You have a feminism score even. I am a feminist, but why can’t women play a game about women without it shoving it in your face that you are a woman, as opposed to just a person. Can’t we just have normal gameplay without being reminded that we are women, and so we are different somehow? Do any male games commend or reprimand you for being a too much or too little of a feminist? It’s a little on the nose don’t you think?

I spent days on this game. DAYS. That may not sound like a lot, but as a gamer, spending so much time on one game and leaving others untouched is rare for me. I got one day, and it restarted me. But then it asked if I wanted to restore progress. I was hoping that this would be a one time thing... but t wasn’t. I got on today, did the same thing, but didn’t offer me the option to get back my kingdom. I saw that someone else had his issue, and did what the developer said to do. Still didn’t work. I’m pretty dang mad cuz this is such a good game. It has a real complex and amazing storyline, wrapped up in such a simple “swipe right” “swipe left”. When I got reigns(the original) a year ago, I was amazed at it. I was so stoked for Reigns: her majesty to drop, and if this can be fixed, this game becomes an instant fav again. Ok...I’m don’t ranting...lol

A problem I keep encountering...
Overall, this game is great. It is a perfect evolution of the Reigns formula that feels similar to, but exponentially different than the original. However, I keep encountering a bug which loses all the game’s data! The first time I encountered the bug, I shrugged it off as a “one time thing”, but throughout my play through, I have had to restart numerous times from the beginning of the game! Please, continue making amazing games, the developers are real talented, but could you fix this bug?

Fun to play for one easy price
Tired of “free” games constantly hounding you for payment and hitting paywall after paywall? Me too- which is the part of why I love this game. I pay for it once and it never asks me for payment again. How strange! It’s also loads of fun. You play a queen who dies. A lot. It’s simple to play- swipe to the left or right to make a decision. Most decisions have real consequences. It’s just like the PC Reigns (for those of you who have played that) game except you play a queen instead of a king. It’s a nice story with no pay walls.

Awesome game!! Misunderstood by reviewers
This game is really fun! I downloaded it after reading all the reviews, and was hesitant. But, the game is exactly the card swiping game it says it is. Unlike a lot of other games, there are no loopholes to get you to spend more $ or watch a video to move on. It’s really simple once you grasp the mechanics, and even after finishing the game once, it’s fun to go back and get achievements as well as find little things that you didn’t get the first time round. I love Reigns Her Majesty!

AN EXCITING AND ENTERTAINING EXPERIENCE
I haven’t purchased a game from the App Store for close to four years until I saw Reigns: Her Majesty! It’s such delightful idea and I was pleasantly surprised to see how far the team went with the idea! Your decisions truly matter in this game and the sheer number (and ridiculous manners in which) your character meets their end will keep you swiping for hours! Thank you Devs, for the best mobile game I’ve played in a while! I’m excited to see what you all create next!

Totally Random. Your decisions mean nothing
I loved the concept of this app. It seemed clever and smart. But it’s not, sadly. It’s just random events that don’t really tie together and don’t effect the outcome. I spent “years” (in-game years) ruling my kingdom. Nothing ever tied together. Just random event after random event. Then, for no reason, I was killed by my own royal dogs. If I had made decisions to mistreat them earlier, sure... that would make sense. But I hadn’t. I didn’t even know I had royal dogs. But I did. Then they killed me. Meh. The point is... this game isn’t as smart as it’s made out to be. You do not have results because of your decisions... they’re just results that happen because of random algorithms. Boooooo. Want my $2.99 back. ☹️☹️☹️

Fun App
I really enjoyed this fresh version of Reigns, especially after playing the original. The storyline is interesting, and I enjoyed the subtle hinting to the first game. My only complaint is that it has reset my game multiple times, back to having no items or cards unlocked, as if I just downloaded the game. Although it is not too difficult to resume my place, it is still very frustrating to have to dedicate the time only to be back in the same place. Would really appreciate if this was fixed.

One of my favorite games
I love reigns! I always have, and I liked to spend time playing on the original, so I was ecstatic when I learned there was a Queen version! Needless to say, this game met expectation. It’s pretty accurate when it comes to politics on the side of the queen, having to settle agreements and earn favor instead of bargaining and starting wars, like in the 1st game. As soon as I learned of the all mother, I immediately became obsessed! Great job!

Why can’t we save our games?!
I love this game. The voices and the ambient sounds are funny, haunting and cool. It is engaging and peaceful(even when I’m stressing a choice!) My only gripe is that you can’t save your game and come back later. I will be on a 20 year hot streak and then have something to do so I have to put my phone down and then when I go back I lose all my progress. It’s frustrating. Is there any way you guys can fix this?

Downloaded the first one... loved it. typically iphone games are too petty/redundant to keep my attention for more than 10 seconds. (idk maybe i’m too old) but Reigns was a cool, easy, fun game that fills your imagination with timely decision making and over all was outstanding from any other game i’ve played yet! THIS SEQUAL IS PERFECT. THEY ADDED A LIL BIT MORE without taking away anything from the game. only adding new. it’s a prefect follow up to the first one and i love playing it

Not as good as the original...
Although there is more content the game is designed around a timeline to consider which makes gameplay frustrating. Not a bad game but I play this as a casual game and remembering all the small nuances makes getting the good ending a choir. The original is better as it is more of a pickup and play than this version. The item system is vastly different and the main cause of the frustration. The game also seems to have a political agenda and panders to specific groups of people in order to boost sales.

This game makes no sense. DO NOT SUGGEST!
Recently I’ve been playing Reigns more than usual and I can’t seem to like it. Every time I play the game it’s so hypocritical. For example, if I am mean to the barbarians the people hate me, but if I’m nice to the barbarians the people also hate me! Wonderful game design!!!! I would rate 0 stars but I can’t. DON’T buy this garbage trash unless you love wasting your time and being angry at this P.O.S.

iPhone XS Max ISSUES ***NEED FIX***
This game is phenomenal so many choices, so many options, such much that can influence the story line. It is a well made and thought storylines game. Only issue I’ve had is that on the iPhone XS Max I have to play in landscape mode and everything the text and the 4 meters are so tiny. And when I try to play in portrait mode nothing is formatted properly so things are off the display. This is actually a good game
I like this game even if it was made by a feminist. I can tell the woman didn’t let her beliefs take control of the project, I didn’t even know that she was a feminist until a few minutes before this review. This game has a ton of replay ability, and it has really good dialogue. The game could be a little more complex, however I don’t know how it will do that. I give it a 4 out of 5. I love this game and I definitely will recommend it to others.

I like the clock system in the second rendition of Reigns than the first. Somehow improved on a nearly perfect game
I loved the first game, playing it until I saw nearly every card. They’ve added small features that come together to show that they’ve made improvements on its predecessor. From the way it vibrates your phone to the simple addition of an inventory, the creators of this game have roped me into more hours of swiping at cards.

A lot of wit and charm for a swipe and tap card game! The lore and strategy to this game are both very accessible and wonderfully deep, while every run builds on the next, punishments are very forgiving, and you have plenty of time to figure out how you'd like to play it. Got a lot of queer subtext, so you're in luck if you're into that :)

So much better
I was obsessed with the original Reigns a few months ago and I enjoyed it but eventually stopped playing due to boredom. In this version, the visuals are better, it’s more interactive, and the way that the plot winds gives you more power over your own choices (and less, when necessary). Thanks for the incredible sequel! I love it!!

Definitely a Sequel
Tries to do too much and adds an element of cringe to the dialogue. Attempts to be intimate with the player and create this big story, but missed the mark on what made Reigns special. Reigns: Her Majesty is a fluffed slapstick with choices that never seem to feel neutral. From the beginning it feels as though you are forced to pick a side and any choice against what has already been given as the main story line feels immoral.

It’s great but very difficult
I’ve played this game for a few hours and it’s really difficult. Even harder than the first Reigns game. But I am IN LOVE with this game. The female perspective makes me feel more involved as a woman and it has so much more depth to me. I love how the choices affect your reign and how you have to make the choices perfectly timed. This game is amazing and I’ll play it for weeks.

jocular Child King (or Queen) in Reigns
Either in an upcoming new game of Reigns or an update to Her Majesty, I suggest inputting a deck of cards that plays your king as a child. Due to the fact there were kids elected to the throne in medieval times, as most know, it would be clever and eccentrically witty to see a child respond to major or serious demands thrown at them by the administrators or officials of the kingdom.

Perfect!
I loved the last game, although I eventually got bored at how easy it was. This new game definitely improved the difficulty of the game, and added an intriguing story. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of a glitch where I got the death scene for when the army becomes too powerful when the sword symbol was only filled halfway. (This happened more than once). Otherwise, great game!

The slow and steady uncovering of details that I didn’t even know I was looking for was pretty entertaining. The owl keeps congratulating me for being a feminist, which is creepy. i love both of the reigns games. excellent time wasters and certainly worth the money. my only problem is that the choices seem a little more obscure in this game and they affect your values very heavily. it makes this game pretty darn hard. maybe i’m just not that good though. i do love the queen approach with this game, however, and a lot of the problems we saw in reigns 1 have been ironed out in this game. overall this game is awesome and one of the few phone games i’ll actually spend time on. also considering the bundle for both games is the same cost as one of them makes this buy even more enticing. two great games for $3

Just like the first Reigns
I loved Reigns the first time I played through it and every other time, this addition is no exception. With even more options to explore, new characters to meet and the supernatural intervention hit the points that made the first entry so good. I have not finished it yet, but I have no doubt it will live up to expectations.

Fantastic!
This game is a lot of fun! I just beat the game so I figured I should leave a review :). It didn’t take me very long to beat (a little under a week) but I had it a couple years ago and never beat it. Initially I got bored and deleted it, but I’m glad I redownloaded it. It’s a lot of fun and a great idle game. Definitely worth it to download!!!

Refreshing
I managed to survive 18 years just by randomly swiping! But seriously, despite this game's simplicity, it is packed full of adventure and even manages to separate itself from its predecessor. With mobile games lately severely lacking in originality, story, and surprises, this game is incredibly refreshing. Closer to a classic RPG than the game itself even tries to be.

Fun to play
This is an interesting puzzle game that is hard to figure out... I saw it while browsing the App Store on my MacBook Air a couple days ago then saw it again on my phone. I made the purchase from my phone but was wondering if there’s any way to get the app on my MacBook as well. Is that possible or no?

Love the game, but I made a mistake.
I love this game a ton (got it a few days ago based on playing the original Reigns on a friend’s phone), but i had a ton of stuff done and I loved my game and all and I accidentally reset it, i wish it had a way to go back but now the game save that I loved is gone. I wish there was a button to go back to reset games. ;-;
