Resort Pass to the rescue!
What an amazing service! I love booking spa services so that I can use the facilities at a spa for the day, whether on vacation or at home. My fiancé were recently on Kauai and had a redeye flight home on a Thursday. We didn’t think to book an extra night at our rental and we’re left to figure out how to spend the day but also have a place to relax and shower/change. We tried getting services at the Grand Hyatt on Kauai but did not plan well enough in advance and they were booked. They recommended Resort pass and it worked out perfectly! We purchased the day pass which allowed us access to the spa locker room and facilities. We were not able to use the resort pool (though there is a resort pass option for that) but there was a lap pool in the spa area, steam room, jacuzzi, lockers, etc. it was a great way to spend our last day on the island and also an affordable option. I highly recommend and will absolutely use again. The app was very user friendly.

Absolute scam!!
The whole concept is great. The execution is poor. There is no real customer service. The love chat is never on. It takes close to two days before receiving a generic email of “we’re working on it”. ABSOLUTELY NO TRANSPARENCY!! I booked an upgraded room, when I got to the hotel they told me they couldn’t find my booking, then I was told I couldn’t check in until 3pm even though my reservation was for 9am. Finally they told me that they did not have the premium room to give me, and that they could only give me a standard room. I asked about being refunded the difference of the room. I was told that I needed to contact ResortPass since I booked a third-party the refund would need to come from them. After contacting ResortPass for three days I finally received a response and was told that it’s the hotels discretion as to whether or not, I would ever receive a refund. I called the hotel spoke to hotel staff and was told that they do not issue any refunds for anyone that books through a third-party app. Before anyone considers downloading and using this app, I strongly suggest you do a quick Google search on ResortPass reviews and you will quickly see that under the Better Business Bureau they have a two star rating and all of the concerns on Better Business Bureau are not being refunded or being overcharged. I wish I had did this before I made the mistake of booking through them.

Brilliant idea!!
This is a win-win all around for both hotels and locals who want to maximize staycations or “day” cations and hotels who want to fill the poolside with extra clientele when there are low bookings or last minute cancellations. The app is extremely easy to use and booking is a snap. The front desk is still a tad new to this booking method so it took a second at one hotel to get our wristbands for the day, but honestly a small incidental for a longer term payout. We had sudden bad weather on the day we booked our poolside visit at a local hotel. The customer service was 5 star at crediting us back so we could reschedule- book for a couple days later when the wind storm passed. I’m hooked!!! Now eager to try more local hotels/spas with this fun little app.

No customer service whatsoever
I had booked two cabanas, wanted to cancel just one. Seems normal, right? Well, I can’t find a way to do this on the app without cancelling the entire reservation. Nothing about it in the FAQs, but nowhere does it say you can’t make modifications, so I guess I just can’t figure it out. OK, let’s contact ResortPass. There’s no phone number, no live chat, not even a bot chat, only an email. I sent an email asking for help modifying my reservation (which again, nowhere does it say I can’t do this) the day before the cancellation cut off, asking for one of my cabanas to be cancelled. FOUR DAYS LATER, after the deadline to cancel has passed, I get a response telling me I cannot be refunded because I missed the deadline. I “missed the deadline” because YOU didn’t check your email (literally the only way to contact ResortPass). Are you serious? What else should I have done here? Don’t bother with this service. Book directly through the hotels instead, where an actual person will communicate with you, probably even within four days. They have absolutely no customer service at all, no information on the app, and will make that your fault.

GREAT IDEA + GREAT APP
This is such a great idea! You can book a hotel with no frills and then use ResortPass for when you want all the amenities! I mean why pay for the hotel’s daily resort fee if you’re not going to use their amenities everyday!?! So this gives me the best of both worlds (affordable hotel and amazing amenities on those days when I will actually use it). The app was easy to navigate! Select a location, pick a date and BAM, options! Pick your package and just show up. The app to in-person experience was seamless. Your name will be on a guest list before you arrive so you don’t even have to whip out your phone. Loveeee everything about this! Only thing I would suggest is more locations in NYC (but I know it’s coming 😉)!

Exceptional experience all around
I was hoping to hang out by a pool to relax in the sun during a long holiday weekend, but didn’t want to spend a fortune on booking a hotel room for one night - in walks Resort Pass. I was told about Resort Pass from a friend, and plan to use it for every “day-cation” going forward. The resorts offered on Resort Pass are beautiful and you’re able to take advantage of all the perks of staying at a resort for a fraction of the price. The booking on the app was seamless and the check-in at the hotel pool made me feel like royalty. I HIGHLY recommend using resort pass app/ or website for your next daycation with friends and family. I know I’ll be!

Do Not Use
If I could give it negative stars I would. To start with 65 for the hotel Seguaro in Palm Springs place is a joke. There is no reason to pay when you can just walk in from the street. The doors to the pool do not require a pass or key to enter. The pool was so filthy full of fruit from peoples drinks, spit and so many gross things I cant mention all of it. If I could post pictures I would. If you have kids DO NOT BRING THEM HERE. Its adults only. Drinks were over priced and watered down. Truly a huge disappointment. I will NEVER EVER return to this place. I would like a full refund. Charging 65 for this place is a crime. People were just walking in from the streets with no passes or anything. There is no need to charge for passes when you can walk in for free. Resort pass should hold the hotels they promote accountable. I will never use this site ever app and when I try to give a feedback like they asked they just give me an error message.

Buyer beware
Family used this app to have a day at a pool in Fort Lauderdale before we had a late plane flight. The cabanas that were advertised were not what we expected- what was supposed to fit 4 people maybe fit 2 with and extra chair brought in by us for 3 people. My husband reserved a day room in the hotel- at a cost of a typical night- even after receiving a confirmation email the day before- with a confirmation number- the hotel stated it has been canceled and the confirmation number meant nothing- they couldn’t ’put it in their system’. (?) I’m fairly sure Resort pass can’t control every situation, but they sure as h*ll should have customer support be available! Almost 6 days later we have heard nothing after multiple attempts to contact them- and now there are 2 charges for the ‘day room’ we never even enjoyed. Better have a backup plan if you use this app.

My new travel partner
I have used resortpass in Puerto Rico for the first time. I had a later return flight and found this app. I spent my last day at a beautiful rooftop pool at a gorgeous hotel where they held my luggage and even provided a generous food credit. I have been using it ever since, Last time in Orlando again the same day as my night flight. Very positive experience and makes the last day of vacation sooo much more relaxing. I will be looking to do a daycation in nyc next.

Recent group visit
I recently purchased multiple passes for a group trip we had planned. I was told I could get a refund up to the night before if needed. I tried to get a refund for one of the passes a couple days before our reservation since one person in our group was unable to go. I was told I couldn’t get a refund for a singular pass but could cancel the entire booking and re rsvp. If i canceled the entire reservation and tried to re-book we wouldn't have gone swimming since there wasn’t any availability. So although the app was easy to book with and the pool made it easy to check in, i will only be giving 2 stars as I was unable to get a refund as easily as they made it seem and i lost out on money.

Great idea, but poorly executed
This app is probably great in a smaller town but in LA it’s a total rip off. The prices are atrocious but even with discounts and free credits, the experience isn’t worth it. Luckily I’m an early bird and always been able to get seating but I couldn’t imagine paying $100 and having to sit on the side of a tiny pool with partiers and, even worse, unruly children without parental supervision taking over the minuscule space and splashing around hitting people with balls. This company needs to tighten up their partnerships with hotels and ensure spots are reserved for their customers. They should also mark if there’s parties and kids because these prices are misleading. You think you’re getting luxe but then end up babysitting (literally).

It’s a great idea and tool!
Although I’ve only used it once (and have an upcoming booking), I feel very good about the service that the app offers. We took advantage of a pool day as a family and it was exactly what it promised. The app itself is very easy to use and straightforward. Perhaps the only recommendation would be that on a search for a specific date it only shows the resorts that are available. Even on the function selection it would show some resorts but at the time of booking then it would show no availability. All in all though, a great app and a great service!

Amazing prices for special experiences
Definitely are my partner and I enjoying ResortPass. For sometimes as little as $10 a pool chair we have had great afternoons in beautiful resorts we would not otherwise visit. We are hoping for more daycation options in the SF Bay Area soon, and are excited about the future possibilities with ResortPass. It really opens up affordable options for weekend or midweek mini-getaways or even just to make for a beautifully different work environment for the day.

This app and website is amazing
It is so nice to be able to treat your self to a lovely pool experience through this app. I have found resorts I know plan on traveling to just to stay at for a little get away. It is amazing to be able to travel and search up cities for amazing amenities like pool, spa, gym. I think the day passes and cabana passes are very reasonably priced. I have used this app more than once now and love and highly recommend it.

Excellent customer service!
Had the best experience working with their customer service to cancel a pass for a family member and change our passes for another date. I emailed and received confirmation that both my requests were completed in less than 10 minutes! Couldn’t be happier to use this app and can’t wait to tell my friends and family members!

ResortPass Failure
We checked in to the resort using our confirmation number, ID and credit card for additional charges. Unfortunately, everywhere we went and every amenity we tried to use was challenged. From our first drink at the swim up bar to end of our stay we were required to explain to Hilton reps, what our ResortPass was and what we were entitled to. Almost every single transaction included calls and clarification to Hilton managers, and even some managers needed to call someone else. Each time we received another reason why the staff was not aware of ResortPass. I think its a great idea, but the execution is sorely lacking! Too bad!

Incredible experience
I currently can’t afford to go too long or too extravagant places when I have time off of work. A friend recommended this app to me and it was everything I wanted: a way to feel like I was on vacation without have to spend too much on one. I opted for this amazing old timey feel hotel. I loved the music, the history, the staff was amazing. couldn’t recommend this app enough

Out of date property listings and poor customer service
I used this service on a girls trip and the overall experience was disappointing. We rented a cabana at a property on the beach only to find out that several of the inclusions were no longer available. I followed up with resort pass customer service who asked if we spoke to the hotel. Which I mentioned I had in my original email. After that, there was no response from resort pass. Find a hotel that will work with you directly so that your concerns will actually be dealt with onsite and in a timely manner.

I was hesitant to use this app but saw good reviews so I dove in and glad I did. The app worked perfectly and there were no glitches at all. We had the best time today on our daycation! We went for the day with my daughter and her two kids. There was so much laughter and squeals from them at the pool. Money well spent. They adored it. Staff were so very nice. I think it was a good idea to go on a Tuesday. No crowd at all. Thank you!

Saved the Day!
We will be traveling on a red eye flight this winter, and not able to check into our resort until late afternoon. The app allowed me to book a day room for my family (use of pool included) for a great rate! Easy to use. When I accidentally booked the wrong date, I was able to email to ask for a change, which was done almost immediately…

This was the best day ever!
We all really felt like we were on vacation....and we were only a few miles from home! Service and amenities were vacation style. Fabulous! Each of us kept saying “I don’t remember taking a plane to be on this wonderful vacation!” Thank you ResortPass for letting us enjoy a perfect resort day without having to pack and fly to “getaway”! Will definitely do it again.

Fabulous App for Staycations!
ResortPass is a genius concept. I love that I can be boujee on a budget, or find a summer hang out with family, or find a pool with a slide for my little ones through this app. Super easy to use and provides accurate information. I hope more hotels start to use them as a way to fill their cabanas and introduce more locals to beautiful staycation opportunities!

App doesn't let you access store credentials in iPhone Settings
This app has a major problem--it doesn't let you choose your email login credentials from your saved passwords list in iPhone Settings. I had to look up my login credentials, copy and paste my email and password manually into the Restort Pass app. People have so many apps and Hide My Email lets us use hundreds of different anonymous email addresses. It is impossible to memorize all those email addresses and passwords. Please let us access stored credentials on our iPhone, it would make this app so much easier to use.

0 tolerance to customers but flexible to themselves
Terrible customer service and stringent, non-customer-centric cancellation policies. I wanted to surprise my family with a same day booking at a hotel and my child woke up sick. The only way to contact them is through email. They promised a 3-5 business day window to get back to me and it took 7 days only for them to disregard circumstance and hold me to policy. I’ll just go back to directly speaking with hotels from now on. Be careful, they have a 0 tolerance policy, only communicate through email, and don’t follow their own 3-5 day response policy.

Zero Customer Service
I used the App. Made a reservation. Then 3 days before the canceled it, and refunded my money. Not a big deal. I am sure there was an explanation. Yet, you can’t call them. Their live chat isn’t working or not set up. Sending their “concierge” a message gets no response. So I like the concept, but obviously it’s just a computer generated reservation app. They seem to have no interest in even the minimal amount customer service. So just keep that in mind. I wouldn’t book anything that you didn’t realize it could be cancelled and anytime, with no explanation.

So helpful!
I’ve used the app twice now in the two weeks I’ve downloaded it - once in Miami Beach and once in San Diego. It’s so helpful when you need something to do but didn’t necessarily plan weeks ahead. Highly recommend. All the properties I’ve been to have been really accommodating and friendly. The Confidente in Miami Beach and Town and Country Resort here in San Diego.

Love it but not the calendar
This app is great with the only problem being the calendar. You will have to click on each day to see when the pass is available. I wish the app would let you choose which type of pass and then showed you on the calendar when it was available. The current way is not very efficient

Amazing App & Wonderful Customer Service
This app made it super easy booking a cabana to celebrate my daughters birthday! I did notice a glitch in the app that put my reservation in the “past trips” instead of “upcoming trips”, but when I notified them of this error they immediately had someone reach out and fixed it within an hour.

Fantastic App
I just wanted to swim. I don’t have a pool. There are so many hotels here in SoCal and I’m ready to swim in all of them. This app gives you hotel amenities without the cost of an overnight stay. Day pass is for access to pools. Work pass is for renting a room from 8am to 5pm if you need a place to work, WiFi, and pool. Very cool app that gives me more opportunities to enjoy my area.

Great App to find pass and top notch Resorts!
I am grateful for this App that I have used several times for pool day passes and spa passes! It’s so useful and I may not have had the opportunity to use certain resort facilities without it. Very easy to purchase passes in advance and no problem with usage once you arrive at the resort. Love it!

Much needed pool day!
This was a great way to beat the heat and mix it up. Big pool, lots of entrances and space to lounge out without being on top of someone. Great service and clean! I will def be back to this hotel pool. The check in and out process was really smooth as well. Can’t wait to get a group together to book a cabana some time!

Love the concept
Very happy with the app, great concept. I will definitely be utilizing this regularly, but one suggestion… in the next update, give us the ability to save the places we would like to visit later. I hate having to screenshot everything and there are hotels that I want to remember to visit so a like button or wishlist would be very helpful.

The app itself is super easy to use. Once we got to the hotel checking in was also quick and easy. And bonus getting a discount on our drinks! Spent less than $100 total for the day and it felt like a total luxury vacation. Highly recommend.

Happy to discover this.
Had booked a condo with a pool on our trip to Scottsdale AZ. Pool at the Condo was not good and we were super sad. ResortPass popped up in our feed and we found a great spot to hang out, walking distance and booked immediately. Great day at the pool! Check out ResortPass anytime you want to experience a little something extra.

I have been using ResortPass for 2 years now and it’s the best creation of all time. To be able to have a day where family can get together and swim at beautiful resorts is a genius idea. I’ve enjoyed my summer during the pandemic so much because of ResortPass. I hope that this app sticks around forever

Great idea!!!
We used the resort pass for access to the indoor pool at a hotel near me. My daughter has been taking swimming lessons and wanted to practice. We have a pool at our apartment but since it’s winter and it’s not heated we can’t use it now. This was such a fun time. She got to swim and I got to have cocktails and snacks by the pool. Great idea for a daycation.

Over charges for resorts
The app is easy and gets you reservations at resorts. We used it to get a cabana at Key West. The charge was $700, which I thought was reasonable for the area. Come to find out, if we booked direct through the hotel, the same Cabana would cost $400. That’s almost a 60% up charge for using this service. Resort Pass didn’t get us any extra perks or save us any time. A 60% up charge for simply booking is crazy! Won’t be using it again.

Great Idea, Bad Cancellation Policy
This is a great idea, and after using the service twice I was very satisfied until today. Unfortunately the cancellation policy is misrepresented. I reached out to cancel a reservation due to bad weather (thunderstorms all day). They were unable to cancel but offered to rebook on a day of my choosing. After selecting a new day, it was shared that the day of the week must be comparable… too bad I wasn’t able to control the weather on my vacation I guess?

What an experience!!
I’ve done a few resort passes and they never disappoint! Great way to spend day at the pool without having to stay at the resort. We all need some self care and quality time with eachother these days and this is the way to do it! Highly recommend.

Poor customer service/false advertisement
I will give this one star for how easy it is to book however, they advertised an all day pool party with live entertainment, 4 free drinks, games and activities. When we showed up there was nothing at all! No bartender, no DJ and definitely no activities. The concierge was totally confused and said not to check in so we didn’t and left. I took screenshots and sent it to resort pass asking for a refund. 4 messages later and no response. Don’t book with Resort Pass! TOTAL SCAM!

This app is a great idea executed perfectly. You can enjoy amenities of great hotels without paying the full price of a stay. It’s great if, for example, you just need to use the gym or pool. The app makes it easy to reserve, the interface is easy to use and well designed. Highly recommended.

Such a seamless experience and perfect option for a pool day. Reasonable rates and great amenities available. Treated like a regular hotel guest the entire time. Great for travelers or even staycations. Have recommended it to practically everyone I know. Can’t wait to book again.

Works Smooth!
Many booking websites don’t offer much difference between the app and the site. This is not the case. The app provides a very smooth experience. I personally like the map view with prices, makes the process very interactive.

Love the Resort Pass App
My husband travels for work throughout the year. As an educator, I have most of the summer off and can travel with him. Obviously his company does not provide accommodations at resorts so it is perfect for me to get to spend the day relaxing and enjoying lots of amenities while he’s working!
