I like the app when it works. I like to be able to place holds on my books and renew checkouts. Every time they make updates to the app, however, everything is glitchy. You click on book titles, but nothing loads, you have a blank white screen forever. Its as though developers never test anything before releasing. I have a brand new iPhone that’s up-to-date on software, so age of my device is not the issue.

STILL TERRIBLE!!!! UNUSABLE!!! Just updating my review to say I can no longer use the app at all. It times out. Searching for titles is impossible. I’m disgusted with Salt Lake County Library system for using this app. I would love to support my library system, but you’ve made it impossible to use, so to Audible I go. The new version is so bad. We used to be able to see how many holds were on a title BEFORE we placed a hold. That got taken away. So frustrating. No more emails letting us know when our held titles become available. I missed out on a title because I was expecting an email telling me it was ready. Now I have to wait all over again to get it, and check the app regularly. Just searching for a title or author is a nightmare. It will say there’s no such title, yet searching the author’s name with their middle initial included, will bring up a list of their books, and eventually the book I want is listed. Yeah, I’m spelling the title correctly. It’s ridiculous that I have to do so much tedious searching to find titles. Seriously, why bother having an app if it’s this bad? Everything good got taken away.

I used the library app many years ago, and it wasn’t very user friendly. I thought I’d give it another try and it is so much better. It is very easy to switch between cards for my different family members. The interface is much clearer. I appreciate that my card barcode is easily accessible too.

This absolutely needs updates, like being able to change what your home library is!! Or being able to see books you past checked it...I constantly check loan history to see what I had to do again and it’s empty! So frustrating! A way to remember your card or even toggle Between family members, a link to pay your fine....

Please allow for multiple library cards to be saved in the app. I would love to be able to click on one of my kids’ accounts (for they have their own library card), having their library card number saved in the app and I can easily click to each of my kids’ accounts within the app. Please!

So grateful for the service but the app is terrible. Be prepared to restart the app multiple times a day. Sometimes won’t ever load at all. To download new book using Libby is really annoying because it doesn’t remember you or your device and I won’t be remember my whole library card number.

I love the ability to check my account from browsing future reads to what is on hold/checked out, but ever time I attempt to look at my account I get an error pop up saying, “failed to get patron circulation data.” I would love to be able to manage this without having to hit retry repeatedly to get nowhere.

In addition to other comments, I would appreciate if the app had a wish list to which I can add books I find, but don’t want immediately. Otherwise I forget books or have way too many checked out at once.

As previous reviewer stated the fact that this app does not remember your library card is a serious setback. That was one thing I loved best about the old app was that I could just open it and start using it immediately. PLEASE add that function to the new app

I appreciate that this version allows you to see how many renewals are left on an item. Other than that it adds nothing and lacks much, such as the ability to edit your profile, the old search method, and the simple detail of remembering one's library card... I honestly may see if I can delete this and use the old one.

They just updated the app and now it no longer works: just keeps refreshing and trying to load.

Search, Limit, Sort very glitchy right now. Overall has been an excellent up, until recent IOS 12 update. Now filters are very troublesome and useless. Thank you.

I have to type in my library card number every time I log in. The old app would store this information. It is soooooo inconvenient to have to pull out my wallet and find my card and type in the 14 digit number every single time! Please fix this in the app. Thank you!

On the website I can use lists, but they don’t show on the app. I’d prefer to use the app, but love my lists.

This app is constantly frozen. Often it doesn't load when you open it. When it does, it only sometimes lets you search the catalog or pull up your e-card. This app is very unreliable.

SO inconvenient to have to type in the card number and pin every time. Please fix this, thank you! Also, a link to history would be great, saved titles etc. But at the very least, it needs to store card number

This app is so much more robust, user friendly, and fast! Finally!!

May as well just use a browser on the phone since the browser will remember your library login info. Also you can’t pay fines or change passwords or do anything in the app.

When I search items and click to see copies and details the search won’t load

I like the old app! It showed you what was due first so you know. Now you have to scroll through all the items to find what is due. Cause they have it as Books, dvds, cd, and so on!!! Dislike!

So so glitchy lately. I don’t know if an update went bad or what but I have to keep deleting the app so it will work. Super annoying. Hopefully there is an update fix soon.

In landscape mode the results page is a mess. The book cover graphic covers the title.
