Does everything it says it does, it is designed for a singular purpose: to make it easy to complete your paperwork by submitting a photo...that is all you can do submission wise. Otherwise it allows you to review personal details put in at one of their kiosks. I would really like to see the BATFE form tracking/transfer status for purchases power by silencer shop as available through the website login. A process checklist would be really helpful to let people easily understand the submission process and remaining hurdles. Also, copies of pertinent documents, e.g. the trust, appendencies, etc., ability to capture approved forms/stamps.
STAY CLEAR!!!!!! They have grown too big for their own good. Stay away!!! I bought a suppressor from them and it took over a month for them to submit the paperwork to the ATF!!!! Worse part, they are only about a mile away from me! They tout a faster more efficient process, however, now instead of waiting the excruitiating 7 month ATF backlog I have to wait 8. I came in in person and went through their “high tech” paperwork technology. If I hadn’t checked in on my paperwork (at least 3 times throughout that month) to make sure they were working on it I’m sure it would have gone a lot longer ... it’s funny, every time I would check in they would come up with something else I needed to provide. stay clear everybody!!!!!
This place makes the purchasing of a suppressor extremely easy and fast. Most of the negatives are from people who don’t know the process and requirements. Once they have your prints, they are are good forever. I have purchased three NFA items from them and going for the fourth this week! Thanks Silencer Shop for making my experiences fun and quick!
Great marketing, really create the impression that they are a business for the people. Couldn’t be farther from the truth. They sent me spam emails almost everyday while I was deciding on what trust route to go, but my phone calls, emails, and texts have gone ignored or met with responses copied & pasted totally irrelevant to my concern. The tone is all correspondence after payment is cold and indifferent. AFTER requesting a refund they shipped my silencer anyways so that refund would only be 65% of my purchase price. They have no record of my request for refund despite sending a screenshot. Don’t be fooled by their “100% money back guarantee”. Read the fine print, they want 350 dollars to cancel a same state order they haven’t even submitted paperwork on yet. I see other reviews regarding the sense of urgency drop off in handling paperwork once they received payment and can confirm that is accurate.
I’ve been buying suppressors from silencer shop from the very beginning. They have stayed customer service oriented the whole time. I’ve never had a bad experience in all 10 transactions I’ve done with them. The app and electronic process they have put in place make buying a suppressor as pain free and simple as can be expected.
Exactly what the title says. The app does what it says an no more and no less. I see these people giving low star rating because it doesn’t do this or that, they don’t advertise or claim that the app does those things they’re complaining about. I bought my last four suppressor through the app.
They have three main methods of interaction: website, in store kiosks, and this app. All are horrible experiences, at least if, like me, you have your own trust and are trying to add more than one RP. Computers were supposed to make our lives easier, but I’m still waiting to see that. Honestly, this process just should not be anywhere near this frustrating now. If you plan to waste a lot of your time, you won’t be the least bit disappointed!
Bought a suppressor for my SCAR. They made it so easy to do the paperwork. It is not there fault that ATF is so slow. I just don’t know what ATF is doing for all that time. The procedure with ATF has not changed since 1934. Anyway that is not the Silencer Shop’s problem. Will do more business with them.
Simple, fast, accurate. Purchased a suppressor through the online store, used the app and a kiosk to complete the transaction. I can’t imagine an easier way to do this.
I’m getting the same results I had a couple months ago when I first downloaded it. Can’t log in even after I made my account, because it keeps saying “unable to verify credentials.” I can login via safari, but not on the app? Considering the other reviews I’ve read, this app is useless…
It's a good app it does all it says but it did copy the Pokémon pokeball and on that I am a little mad so I take of 2 stars for no effort it creating a good original simbol
There are reviews on here from FIVE YEARS AGO with people having this problem. I can’t log in using my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I can log in with the same credentials on my desktop PC perfectly fine. So it’s not me. HOW DO YOU NOT FIX YOUR APP IN 5 YEARS SILENCERSHOP?! If they’re this lazy about the app, I sure don’t want to buy from them.
Only function is to upload a picture. This app needs to be able to track the entire transfer process which would be very helpful for those who are unfamiliar with the process.
2 months in and my form has still not even been submitted to the government from SilencerShop. I realize the shutdown played a part in this. But the shutdown has nothing to do with SilencerShop’s customer service. They take 2 full weeks to respond to emails. Horrible horrible horrible company to work with.
I cannot get the app to open. I have reset my password and it still won’t open. I have called and been on hold for 25 minutes with no answer. I have used messenger to try to get help so I thought maybe if I do a review I can get some help.

They claimed eForms would be approved in 90 days. Turns out that was a lie. Just do your forms via mail and skip giving Silencer Shop extra money and your information.
It does allow you to add a photo but any png converter can do that too like ms paint. It’d be way nicer if it was like your acct tab online. So we can track NFA items
This app does not allow me to login with my credentials, stating they are invalid. This despite verifying they are correct by logging in to the website with them.
Using the same credentials I use when signing on the website, but they don’t work and said invalid. Fix the app! 7/22/22: Still won’t allow me to sign into my account. Please take this app down or fix it before you publish it. Account works on the actual website.
