SkyRider Cruise

I mean, it’s fun. The wifi for the cam keeps disconnecting whenever I hit “start” on the app.

I got a SkyRider drone, bought replacement batteries for it, and got it in the air. It’s not a bad drone, the best one I’ve had so far. But I could only do so much with just the controller. I needed to get the app in order to get camera data. I downloaded the app, and immediately noticed the stretched look of it. It seemed to be made for 16:9 screens, whereas iPhones have a 2.16:1 aspect ratio. So instead of redesigning the GUI for the entire app, the developers just stretched it to fit. Next, I linked my drone to the app and started recording video. On the packaging of the drone it doesn’t say anything about the quality of the camera. And now I knew why. It could only stream 640:480 pixels of video. Not only that, but the quality was terrible. No white balance, no brightness compensation, and no onboard video capture. All of the video data was saved on the phone, which is a recipe for terrible fps and lag. The worst part, however, was that you cannot save media from the app. It has to be saved in photos, and if you turn that off, you have no way to move the media out of the app other than screenshots. I still had fun regardless of these flaws, and have a lot of good memories made with this app. I thought fly by phone tilt was cool. But it was a pretty bad app.

The drone app won’t connect to my drone completely fine, but the app will not. It will need to be fixed soon or else nobody will use it. I’ll been trying multiple apps for the sky cruiser whatever but it won’t work. I’m getting more anxious in a little bit mad and frustrated that it won’t work so if the person that design of this App,can you kind of fix it because it’s not working and I’m gonna go frustrated and I got it for Christmas and it’s not working.

This help me see better when using it and there was a 0 out of 10 percent chance of crashing it with the camera and i definitely would’ve crashed it without the app Thank you

I think that this product is great! It’s really fun to fly! Plus the battery charges so quickly! The camera is awesome! Like I could fly it all day. Thank you for making such a great product. And it wasn’t even expensive!

I have to delete the app just so I can get into the drone camera feature but even then it just stops and freezes. They need to get that fixed otherwise it’s a waste of time trying to do on the phone.

This app is complete garbage. The drone works fine with the controller… I can get the picture to display on my phone but it wont control the drone. Won’t take photos or videos. App kinda crashes and then gets stuck on the start screen and won’t initialize until I literally delete and reinstall the app.

This is so frustrating it doesn’t even make since and in the screws are so tiny not even a little seven-year-old kids hand can fit because they’re so small like come on do better will not buy again

They have no extra legs and all of mine fall out and I have to spend an hour finding them

Terrible just terrible this app is the whole reason my drone was destroyed I was easily flying back to me when the controls on my phone stopped working the app cut off and the drone crashed in the middle of the forest never to be seen again never fall for this death trap.

I like to fly around with my drone but I need spare legs for it because mine broke and I can’t find it but overall I like it.

I’ve had to install and reinstall the app to get the video/camera to work. Once shut down, you can not get any images. You have to reinstall.

Barely connects to the controller or my phone, and when it finally does, it shows the camera image just fine but won’t even fly when I move the joystick.

This app does not work. Bought an X-31 drone and can’t even use camera because of this crappy app that will not even open.

It didn’t come with a back, The drone itself didn’t work, the plastic is so poorly made It broke when I put it together. Waste of my 50$

It wouldn’t let me connect to the app for hours and the camera setting wouldn’t work. Wasted money on this product.

Can even go to feet in the air without crashing. If my neighbor saw me go into their yard they would kill me. I do not suggest buying this drone, for your kid or anybody.

It literally just flew away and I had no control of it and it went 8 blocks away into someone’s yard

Got the app and and dose not connect tried restarting it but it still doesn’t work

The drone broke in the first 2 days and the camera graphics were crappy do not recommend. 😡

The app will not work with controlling the drone. The recording button works but the joy sticks and start, stop, land buttons do not work.

We couldn’t even control it

I hate this drone I broke in 2 days from not being able to stand the wind!! Worst drone i’ve ever had!!
