I love this game but getting characters from the areas are kinda a little overly hard when getting to sky sanctuary the animals you would have to play for hours and hours to get them and while yeah there aren’t many areas wich you should add more it still is a little overly hard to get the animals and then when you try to get too new places there are SO many levels you have to get it’s kinda boring until you get too the high enough levels your looking for also can you add more bosses and maybe more characters like infinite? Can you make the rewards for the leaderboard a little easier tho it’s hard to get them and It’s gonna take forever. Ps: Sega your games are great keep up the good work
Honestly I feel like they abandoned this version of Dash, other than a FEW new events like the Knuckles series event, the game seems frozen in time just going through the same old characters, literally boot this version up next to the normal non apple arcade dash, everything is different, the UI is different too, frankly it doesn't bother me much as the ui in dash + seems less confusing but it still shows how these aren't updated together, my main issue is the lack of event areas and the lack of new characters, sonic dash gets all these cool new characters and dash + just gets them dripped to it, at least character wise i have not seen ONE special area. I also don't really like how you have to wait a whole week to get a new character, i'd like there to be more interesting ways to unlock more characters like in sonic dash regular or even mario kart tour. I really dont understand why they can't just have these two be updated together, if this was up to date then yes, it would be perfect. Honestly i could recommend this if you really don't care much about the characters and areas and just want a quick time killer, or if you want to play the old sonic dash, but if you actually like sonic and wanna try out different areas and new characters, be warned this game seems to be frozen in time.
The game plays just like the regular version except certain changes were made because of the no IAP model. While some of these changes are good like the regular leaderboards with prizes, a daily login bonus, permanent upgrade that cost Red Rings instead of real money, and the ability to get construction Gems and character tokens (including non current event characters) from the bonus sections between Zones. Bad changes include every token unlock character requires 500 tokens instead of 250 tokens and every character needs an additional 175 tokens to fully upgrade. While this is no problem for Blaze, Silver, and Cream every other character requires a specific lucky roll of the between Zone bonus 18 times in order to be fully upgraded. As for character unlocks Tangle and Whisper still haven’t gotten any events (at least since someone asked about them in May 2022) so they have the 50 lucky rolls path to unlocking. Also is Baby Sonic in the game? I know that the other Movie characters that have been in the regular version are here.
So I got this game for free, and it was so fun, but… There are a few problems I would like to talk to you about. First of all, whenever you get knocked-out, you have to spend red star rings to revive. It starts off with paying 2 red rings, then 4, then 8, then….16… then more! Which that really makes me upset, so please fix that. Also, I do not like how you have raised the prices on the characters you have to buy with red star rings. In Sonic Dash they were each like 60 Red Star Rings, and in Sonic Dash+, you raised them to a price of 100 Red Star Rings, like, what the heck. Also, I don’t think that it was a good idea to just change Sonic Dash to be exactly like Sonic Dash+ So I’m not saying to get rid of Sonic Dash+, but if the games are the same, then what is the point of having Sonic Dash+ if the original and the + version are the exact same! You should download this game, but be weary to save up your Red Star Rings for what you want. I’m just saying.
So I like SonicDash and all, but having to spend the red rings when you die is really not fair because what if like say I don’t have any because I spent them all I wouldn’t be able to revive when I died so I would hate that because I would stop playing the game in when you die, you have to spend two stars so I think you really need to make it so you don’t have to spend two red stars when you die then eight then like 16 so you really need to fix it so you only have to spend 1 star so people play the game more well nobody will actually like it because 16 stars like Bruh that’s too much so I think you make it to only one star, because I mean like that’s too much having to spend 16 stars so this is my review because like that’s a lot the rest of the game is really fun so you might want to take that if you want people die player game more often.
Edited: the new update is ridiculous. Every time you open it you have to use up tokens, coins or upgrades to play? Absolutely not. I enjoyed it even though I had maxed out a lot of things because I enjoyed the challenge. But I’m not about to grind for resources just to open the game. What a joke. This game is a lot of fun, but once you build all the animal places there’s really no point. There are no new levels and you play the same two bosses the entire game(which I avoid because it’s boring and a waste of time.). This is essentially a grinding game to get character tokens and coins to level them up, but the problem is you keep getting tokens for characters you’ve maxed out and jewels I no longer need because there’s nothing left to build. The game is fun at first but there’s not a point to keep playing for the new characters. It’s too hard to get the new characters (it take’s absolutely forever) because I keep getting tokens for characters that are already maxed out. I wish they put more into it.
My issues is the gem system. When you finish all the areas gems do nothing. My idea is that you can buy rings, spin the wheel (over course a bit more expensive then normal) or better yet power ups/boosters. Because everyone who finished are just sitting on thousands of them. But besides that the game is still the same one I played years ago. The grind is tough but I personally don’t mean mind because it’s a game you play while on bus or car trip and it builds up over time. I know some characters won’t return but I won’t have to buy most of them. But overall is you enjoy the game back then you’ll most likely like this game. The problem is the gems but that won’t change my rating because it’s the same game. Also I wish there was more voice acting but that would be difficult in all seriousness.
This game is absolutely for Sonic lovers. It’s basically subway surfers. Just a fewwww suggestions. Add more characters PLZ. Like maybe put Finitevus or Mimic the Octopus and Dr. Starline! (Most of ya’ll readying this prob not even know who this are-) anyway just put some more characters and stuff. And maybe some new maps too! Like metropolis and stuff. And if there’s a classic Sonic why not classic Amy? Or classic Knuckles? I think that sense there’s an elite agent rouge u should at least add treasure hunter knux. And why not Super Sonic? Maybe you can make it so it’s super rare to get like maybe on the pride wheel and it’s the jackpot. And maybe Chaos Knuckles, Hyper Knuckles, and Super Knuckles! (Knucklehead is my fav so I would like more knucky characters.) basically just add more characters and more maps plz! That’s all, I HIGHLY recommend this game!! U should TOTS buy!
Great game! I really loved sonic dash ever since I was a little kid. I was absolutely ecstatic when I heard this was coming out! When it did, I downloaded it immediately, ready to reneged the world of sonic dash. The game has updated textures, lack of micro transactions, no ads. I mean, it was essentially Sonic Dash but perfect. At least, that’s what I thought, until I realized U couldn’t transfer my data. All my previously earned characters that I spent hours collecting, were gone. If you could just add data transferring to the game, it would be absolutely perfect! Thanks for reading!
There’s been many infinite runners and Sonic Dash just feels pretty mediocre. Sure there’s unlockables and levels, but it all feels like it was in service of loot box mechanics instead of just fun mobile gaming, with leader board prizes that reek of its pay to play past. Spend money to win except there is no buying your way to the top (thankfully) to get loot. Then there’s the actual game, which while decent, feels cheap as it feels next to impossible to see what’s ahead generally by the forth level as obstacles pile into absurdity. In the end, it’s fun for a few hours but characters are more or less skins as are the levels. Everything this game has to offer can be done in the first few hours. It’s a nice diversion but I can’t imagine wanting to spend much time on it for a title that has little longevity to offer.
“Mom, I want to play Sonic.” “We have Sonic at home.” —> this game The best thing I can say about it is that it runs at 60fps, has a lot of characters, and is visually-reminiscent of the classic Sonic games. Swapping Sonic between the lanes doesn’t feel intuitive, and constantly having to swipe isn’t a reliable method of control when the game picks up speed (probably intentional for when the game was F2P and it incentivized spending real money to survive the later sections of the level). All of the characters are functionally identical, so there’s no point to swap between them. The “building” progression system feels like something from a bygone era of mobile gaming. There’s no point for its existence beyond artificially extending goal posts to get certain characters. It should have been removed entirely from the Apple Arcade version. Four different “currencies” that bottleneck you from progressing. Some of them can only be earned through random drops, so upgrading characters takes ages. Boss battles are a joke. A simple pattern recognition mini-game that gets old very quickly. Maybe people who have nostalgia for the game will find some enjoyment here, but nothing about this game is designed to be fun—it was designed to annoy and frustrate you until you’re tempted to spend money to remove its many roadblocks.
The game sound is too loud, and there’s no option to lower it without turning it off. It makes putting your volume on one sound like you have it on 5, and having it on 0 prevents any sound whatsoever. You should add a setting to customize SFX and music. Also, the graphics are kind of bad, and it gets more and more noticeable that the rings aren’t 3D and are just 2D images. and there should be an option to increase them, as most modern devices can handle better graphics nowadays. The boss battles are extremely underwhelming, but just running through regular zones is pretty fun. Overall a good game, and I’ve only encountered one bug since I started playing (Which doesn’t affect gameplay and is kind of hard to find without looking for it.)
Hey there! I love this game and I’ve been playing it for the past week or so but recently whenever I go in it kicks me out. Basically I go in and once it says Game Center has logged me in it kicks me out to my Home Screen, I’ve tried everything from updating my phone, checking the app for updates, restarting my phone, etc. I was hoping there was some way you could help me out, if you can, please let me know so I can solve this issue and get back to playing this wonderful game again!
Poor gameplay with poor controls and hard to recognize obstacles (Example) Sliding under raised totems is hard to know since they look just like wall totems Characters are really useless and is just a copy and paste with less or more limits to upgrades. Upgrading starts off easy and then immediately becomes painful. Builder is useless since the characters they unlock aren’t really that good since they do nothing to change any gameplay except for having a multiplier. Red Rings heavily rely on RNG and is rare. More than just 2 goals should be unlocked after 1 hour of waiting. Diamonds are unlocked by doing stunts, or doing goals… it’s a shame you only get 2 goals every hour and sometimes the rewards are terribly low. You can save up on Red Rings to buy characters that are immediately better than the ones you can unlock through Building. Difficulty immediately becomes ridiculous after the 5th spring. Sliding causes Camera to no longer be useful and instead become it’s own obstacle. The devs really love putting anything that requires you to jump next to sliding sections. Really wish I could see. A ring trail once led me into a Spike, Spike Trap, and a wall…
Please add new bosses because I’m SO bored on the game and I like have every character. Add some new bosses and zones like the death egg zone and death egg robot. Would be cool if you could add a bonus level where you had to collect enough rings or defeat enough enemies. You could also add a cave zone and add more enemies like the buzz bomber or motobug. You could also add all the deadly six instead of just zazz. I am a huge fan of the IDW sonic comic series so it would be very cool if you a added dr. Starline boss. And bring back the PAC-MAN event because I missed it ALL. It would be really fun if you added all of this or maybe just even 1! and I would play it more and rate it 5 stars instead of just 3.
Once you are done completing all of the cities/environments, there is nothing to do with the gems. I keep accumulating more and more gems to the point where I have thousands and have nothing to spend them on. At least give us the option to upgrade the cities we already completed or maybe exchange them for rings or something. Something besides having us accumulate items that are essentially useless at this point. Also, the grind to get the last few characters is unnecessarily difficult and leads me to not enjoy playing the game at time.

This is a great game and I’m glad to see devs responding to the issues of others, answering my questions in the progress. Besides more bosses and better mechanics(which I can get around) the red coins for quest cooldown is frustrating as it’s the kind of grind filled game you’d play on a road trip, or in a plane. But the one thing that’s stands in my way is quest cooldown. I dislike how I need to take hour long breaks for 2 quests before waiting or paying the 2 red coin fee. Please fix this one problem and keep up the good work!
When I first got this game I thought was just gonna be the same as Sonic Dash so my plan was download it try it out and then leave a really bad review but now that I played it I see that it’s so much different I love the changes I think they’re good for the game but there is one week I would like if you could somehow access the cloud through SonicDash and download all the contacts from the previous game into sonicDash plus that would be a really big help
I wish I had better things to say about this game but sadly it’s another F2P game with the IAP removed. You would think that would be a good thing but sadly it’s not, they have cranked up the requirements for all purchases and tokens you must grab since you can no longer buy the in game currency. Why do you think we need to grind harder because it’s no longer your IAP type game. When I started the game when it was released in the arcade the free revive was 200 stars, now after an update it’s 250. You are creating needless grinding, I can see if you had an IAP that you could get the whales to buy in on but that’s not the case here. Don’t waste your time on this one.
So I love the running and how cool it is with all the different worlds, and items, but I do have a small request. I would definitely like this game better if you were able to change the design after you picked it. While I was working in the Beach Zone, I accidentally clicked the green colored diving board, and now it doesn’t match with anything and I can’t fix it. If there is a way to fix it already, please respond. If not, please try to fix the game. Overall though, (not counting the design “bug”) it is a great game. 😁
I used to play this a few years ago but I got sick and tired of the ads. I love that it’s now available on the arcade and I don’t have to sit through endless ads or pay scads of money to get characters or bonuses. I really enjoyed this, and I’ve already gotten five characters in five days. I have a suggestion… Could you offer the possibility of paying with cash for things like permanent upgrades? 250 red rings is a lot for me and I don’t know if I can acquire that much, but I am willing to pay cash instead.
This game is really fun, a break from all the freemium runner games. It’s fun building and customizing them too. The characters are plentiful and there’s is little to no gameplay difference between them which allows you to customize as you wish. The only complaint is that if you tricks in the air, it takes up too much time. Just make it that right after when you are done tricking, you start to go to the ground again.
Sonic Dash is a fun way to spend some time and relax. The only problem is that it get repetitive after a few runs. There’s nothing new in terms of gameplay. No new animations, same level designs for all worlds and lack of swag. The characters just run until they die. That’s it. Sonic doesn’t do any stunts while running, doesn’t say anything either. There’s nothing unique about any of the characters movements and style. All the characters look dead to me. I believe that by adding new and smoothing the current animations sonic would be the best “runner” game out there. But alas, the game is lackluster and lacks the swag of a Sonic game.
This game really helped me with my dyslexia and dysgraphia it help me tell which one is right and which one is left I don’t know my left my right so this really helped I think if you are if you’re a child and you have dyslexia and dysgraphia or just dyslexia or just scrap yeah either one you should really try this doesn’t very good for your finger movement and if you have anger issues like I do it it helps with that too that’s why it’s the best game ever.
I like playing this game and going through it as you level up the animal housing for each stage is fun and you do have to put effort into it. However when you max the animal housing Gems become worthless and therefore when you spend your hard earned red coins for wheel spins, complete quests, or get gem rewards for the end stage follow along you are basically rewarded with useless trash items. This can be easily fixed by just adding an exchange in the shop. Even just the inverse of the red coins for gems exchange. Problem solved.
So, SEGA, lemme start off by saying that this game is amazing, but there’s one thing that tips me off: Zazz. Zazz was a really random villain to add for a boss fight, like why not choose someone like Chaos? I mean, it makes sense for you guys to choose Zazz because I guess this game came out the same year that Sonic: Lost World came out. I just wanted to ask y'all something: are you planning on coming out with any new bosses in the future? Thanks! You guys at SEGA are the best!
What can I say? I’ve played this game since I was six, and I still love it to this day. When I saw this on Apple Arcade a few days ago, I was ecstatic. I immediately installed it and played it. It felt like the original, which I'm a little concerned about. I thought it was a revamped version with new graphics, new gimmicks, and new characters. But other than that, it's still an amazing game. SEGA, I hope you make more games just like this!
Sonic dash + is the definitive version of the game but there is a few things that I want to know. First, why do you have to collect 500 character icons to unlock a new character. Although if it’s not a bonus character you can use 50 to 100 red rings instead. Second, now I can’t find the original sonic dash on the App Store so I think it got removed. But I still a great game.
This game is awesome, but does have a few draw backs. First of all, great quality and gameplay with endless fun. What I wished for them to add, was more villains because it is always the same 3 or 4 villains. Other than that the game is fine, you can play on the airplane, car, etc. Tjr best thing is that the game does not require WiFi to play unlike the other games you have to have WiFi for. Hope this review makes you want to download Sonic Dash+. Thanks for developing this game.
I really like playing this game because of how easy it is to pick up and play. The only thing I don’t like about this game is that it takes too long to collect character tokens. The cause of this problem is that it is possible to collect character tokens for characters that are already max upgraded. Please fix this issue it will make the game more enjoyable. Thank you. P.S. I get there is suppose to be a grind aspect to this game, being ported from a freemium version. But the effort to obtain Silver and Blaze is insane! easily at least a year or so if your not insanely lucky. Let alone there being no clear way to unlock Tangle or Wisper. Gives us a way to just buy all the chars from the shop. Having to win a 1/100 roll about 30 times on 6 hour cooldown is ridiculous for just one character.
I’ve always enjoyed this game as an f2p title but never made it too far as I felt the grind was too extreme. This arcade version is perfect! They’ve removed transactions and made it far quicker to unlock new characters and levels. I’m also loving the movie event. This is easily one of my favorite arcade titles and I hope it’s kept up to date for years!
It’s a great game except for the fact that it doesn’t have any new area or bosses! All those places are old and so are the bosses… I still play! It’s fun despite that! Also it lacks some stuff like more red ring shop characters I wish they had more like classic tails or ray the squirrel! I hope you see this and pls add this stuff if convenient!
This is a great game I won’t go into detail but I will I will say is I feel like red coins definitely should be easier to get because after all we are well this games in Apple Arcade so should be a little bit easier but then make a mode where it’s like leaderboard mode or like if you die once that score will be on the leaderboard instead of you know being how long a run is plus reviving

This is a quality arcade adaption of a classic polished endless runner featuring my favorite blue blue a colorful cast of his companions and rivals. I think it is high quality. I have played each Sonic Dash game, and I am familiar with the obscure characters released in Forces. I thought it interesting to see a bit of that here. All in all, give this a download!
I like the game but it makes every character spin and roll even though that in the real movies and tv shows only Sonic and Shadow spin and roll Amy has a hammer, Knuckles has fists, Cream and Cheese can fly, tails can fly and he has smarts, Vector is literally a crocodile with a giant mouth and sharp teeth, Espio can turn invisible and he’s strong ,Charmy can fly and he’s got skill’s, and Rouge can spin into tornado and attack and she can fly. This game is really clean and they are always New characters coming out from Excalibur Sonic to Rusty Rose. There is an odd glitch I had where I got to an area where you have to tap the screen to hit the big robotic fish, and I could tap a dozen times and would play the stomp animation every time I would tap. Five stars! Great game
Hi, I’m Squirrelflight, I am a huge Sonic fan and this is by far one of the greatest games! Would totally recommend, it’s easy but with challenges, and it’s fun. Thank you I cannot figure out why I roll into black boxes and collect usually but die sometimes. I have no idea why and tutorials don’t cover it. If a developer responds with an answer I’ll change review.
This game is a lotta fun, you can fight with bosses, and it’s soooooo fun. But I got to tell you something, there’s a game that copied your game called Oddbods Turbo Run, it has the same things as your game, including the boss fights, thanks this game is awesome but I need you to make the developers of Oddbods Turbo Run delete their game.
Great version of the game but one major big problem…
Normally I would give this game a 1 star, but its actually a really good version of sonic dash, my major problem is that I can’t transfer my data! As a long player of sonic dash, i dont wanna lose my characthers! And my progress on the building sections! If you could maybe add a feature you can transfer data then this would be five stars!
It’s a great game, but when there’s 2 special events happening at the same time, I only know how long until one of them ends. Can you make an update where I could see the time for multiple events?
Great game but there is one problem wrong It’s the ability to not get any of the red stars for purchase but you have to buy everything with them, shouldn’t we be able to buy them instead of wondering if we’ll get any or is that there for a reason
The game is fun but recently I haven’t been able to really play it won’t load or it glitches me out of the app I offloaded it and I tried to update it and I even cleared out storage but it still won’t load but I’m still giving the app a good rating because it’s still fun
I love sonic games and when I saw this was on Apple Arcade I downloaded it immediately! I played for a while and started to get bored because of the lack of bosses and how hard it is to get characters with the red rings. So I suggest more villains or more events like the new sonic 2 movie came out and their are some really big bosses (characters) in it.
I like this game. It’s not as good as Subway Surfers or Temple Run but the Sonic paint job more than makes up for it. My main complaint is that the game still feels like a Freemium game. Long wait times in between missions and a good deal of grinding to unlock everything. If they could make missions unlimited, then that’d be enough to keep me coming back for a while.
