Great Stretching App
I saw advertisements for this app on Instagram, and it interested me because I have been wanting to get my splits for a long time. I spent a couple days on the app and decided to subscribe because the classes are concise and engaging. I have taken in person stretching classes before, and it’s hard to feel like you’re making progress when you only attend the class once or twice per week. This app makes it so that you are doing a little stretching every day with variety, and I’ve noticed how my body feels different when I stretch daily, even if it’s just for 10 minutes. The way it is set up makes it feel like you are not having to carve out time to dedicate to stretching, rather if you find yourself needing a break from computer work, you can do one of the classes suggested/scheduled for you. It’s a really great app, however I would like to see some more foot and ankle conditioning classes. I have a tendency to sickle one of my feet when I do split type moves, and it would be nice if there were a variety of dedicated classes for toe points. I personally like seeing the list of stretch classes I planned for the day and doing them in down time that I find throughout the day. I also like that they have daily stretch class suggestions on top of the program class scheduled for the day. I’m currently working on front splits, but I’m looking forward to starting middle and standing splits!

Apple Watch app NEEDS WORK
I love the iPhone app overall. The different challenges hold me accountable to keep up with my flexibility work and I am seeing real results. The Apple Watch app, however, leaves everything to be desired. When it works properly it tracks calories and shows a countdown clock so you know how much time is left in the class you’re watching. When your class is over, it syncs your workout with Apple Health and contributes to your active calories and exercise minutes totals. More often than not this is not the case. As the class ends the Apple Watch app will be frozen and the clock will never reach 0:00 even though the iPhone app has entered the post-class screen. The watch will continue to count calories burned even though the class has ended. I am forced to shut down and restart my Apple Watch to shut down the app. Several hours later the workout will sync with Apple Health with the inflated calorie count. The worse outcome is the Apple Watch app will not start automatically as usual when the class is started on the iPhone. In order to see the countdown clock on my watch I need to continuously scroll through my app list and open the StretchIt app over and over again. At the end of the class the app is not frozen, but shows that the number of calories burned shows 0 which is obviously incorrect. This has been incredibly frustrating and the lone drawback to an otherwise great service. I hope these issues are resolved soon!

Front splits, middle splits, back flexibility - if any of those are your goals, this App is for you!
I love StretchIt! I have achieved great results and continue to train with it almost every day. If you're looking for an expertly-designed, easy-to-follow, and FUN workout, this is it! StretchIt works. You can do the classes anywhere—at home, at the gym, outside, on vacation, etc, etc etc. All you need is a mat, some blocks, a yoga strap, and any other supportive props you like to use (like kneepads). Each class has unique sequences and flows, which keeps you engaged and always challenging your flexibility in new ways. It's my primary workout, and I am so happy with how my splits are looking these days (thank you, StretchIt!). It keeps me lean, toned, and supple. Plus, they just launched an updated design and it's beautiful. The interface is intuitively designed and they've added great new features like Flexibility Challenges. The Challenges are awesome and you can sign up for them on-demand, or join a community Challenge with other StretchIt users. I almost forgot to mention one of the best parts of the App...the CAT! Whenever I open the App, the StretchIt cat is there to greet and encourage me. The cat is sooooo cute and seeing what he's up to is that extra push to open up the App and train :) But seriously, you’ll fall in love with flexibility training with this App. Make your dreams happen and get bendy with StretchIt.

Worth it
I’ve always struggled with flexibility. Now at the age of 54, sitting at a desk for 10-12 hours/day, with an extremely tight, painful lower back, hips etc. I thought I’d better start working on this before it’s too late. I saw an ad for this app, decided to give it a try and began incorporating the session into my morning Peloton workouts. Starting as an absolute beginner I was, and still am, amazed that later in the day, after just the first class, I realized that I had very little, if any, lower back stiffness or pain. I completed my 5th class this AM and can report zero pain and much great flexibility. I can’t speak for higher level classes but for me, at this level, I find the progression and instruction to be very well laid out. The way the instructors walk you through each stretch, suggesting modifications is exactly what I need to keep me going. Re the cost, for an “app,” it seemed a bit pricey. So, I thought I’d try the 7day free trial and then, if this seems like it’s working, maybe I’ll go for a month before deciding on the annual subscription. Well, if you’ve read this far you know I saw results after day 1. Now, considering the value I’ve received so far, the cost of the annual subscription seems like bargain. Give it a shot for 7 days, what do you have to lose?

Great, but needs SOME improvement
My husband and I began the platinum flexibility program at the beginning of the year and have loved it so far. The app is easy to use and works great casting to a TV through Apple or Google Chrome. The biggest issue I have is that right around Day 38 of the 90 day platinum flexibility program is that the videos completely changed. There were 3 back to back instructional videos with a completely different woman on an all white set and the style of instruction was different. It didn’t flow well and the video was constantly paused or movements were looped to follow what the voice over was saying. My husband and I disliked it so much, that we chose to do yoga on those days until those particular videos were out of the way. I have checked to see if there are more videos like that over the course of the remaining days and I’m disappointed to see there are. I’m guessing these are older videos. My recommendation would be to replace them with newer videos. It was such a jolting difference. When I encounter those videos in the future, I will, once again, chose to do something else in its place. Otherwise, aside from those few videos, I’m overall satisfied with the app. Like yesterday, I had some serious low back tightness and doing a splits class that focused on hamstring and psoas stretching helped it feel significantly better.

Worth It!!
I was hesitant about paying for a membership, but after a few weeks I am so glad I joined! I’ve never been naturally flexible but grew up in dance and gymnastics and always struggled with flexibility and basically hated stretching. I have tried many yoga classes over the years and they just never really kept my interest. The Stretch It classes are EXACTLY what I needed to fall in love with stretching. I’m currently doing the 90-day everything splits program and I just love the way I feel after each class. The beginner level is just the right amount of challenging at my current (very poor) level of flexibility. The classes are well-paced and not boring. I like the focus on dynamic stretching rather than spending a long time sitting in a stretch. The instructors focus on correct technique, especially with regard to hip placement, which I appreciate because it is very easy to get it wrong. I am excited to see my progress in the months to come! I am also so stoked that I can use AirPlay to play the classes through my Apple TV! It makes them much easier to follow than using my phone or iPad screen. Really, really impressed with this app!

Great, but could be more beginner-friendly.
I like it so far. The thing is I wish it was more beginner friendly. The full body classes are good. I just started the bendy back classes and some of it seems a bit more advanced than it should be for beginner. I know the goal is to do your best and challenge yourself, but that’s easier said than done when you cant even balance/hold a pose without toppling over. One of them in particular didnt have any alternative to the stretch if you couldnt do it and it was so difficult to even get to the position much less hold it for more than a second. Its just frustrating because Im losing out on stretches I cant physically do? The app is very dancer-oriented... I used to do ballet up until hs and have been out of the game for 8 years - Ive lost a decent chunk of flexibility so I decided to go for beginner. Though most are doable Im still surprised at the hard ones presented under beginner. If someone like me that’s had *some* experience with dance and flexibility are finding some of these stretches very difficult, I’m wondering how frustrating it might be for those with no experience/very little flexibility. I’m giving 4 because overall the app and classes are good and the developer seems genuine and encouraging, but the beginner classes could be a little bit more for beginners.

I wanted to like it
I wanted to like this app. I wanted to like it so bad! This is exactly what I needed. I loved that you could schedule select times and reminders to train and do the app! I like the challenges, I love the overall design and experience of the app itself. I’m giving it 3 stars because of the videos themselves, which is the bread and butter of the app. First off, you have to download each session, which I don’t particularly care for. My biggest problem is how the classes are taught. It feels so rushed. I’m listening to what I need to do for the position and any movements and transitions. Then it’ll say “repeat X times.” Great, so by this point I’ve done one set. Then I start on the second set and it tells me to do the other side. It expected me to have done all X reps while listening to the explanation. Its very frustrating to me. The stretches themselves are great, and I like what the app has me do, but the timing is so off for me that I have to pause it, and restart it, and honestly that gets annoying because that means I have to keep my phone within hand reaching distance at all times and move it with me and we go from poses to pose. If that kid of thing doesn’t bother you, then you’re going to love this app. But it bothered me too much sadly. I couldn’t get past it. So I’m going to have to uninstall.

About the subscription
You get what you pay for with this app. Yes, there is a monthly subscription, you can try it for a month and decide if the stretch category you like is worth it (and believe me, it is!) you can cancel even without paying anything if you keep it for only 7 days. Now, let’s say you cancel within your first month because... (can’t think of a legitimate reason other than not having enough time) you spend 5$. 5$, now if you can’t afford 5$ a month you shouldn’t buy this app but let’s face it, you pay more than 5$ for a meal out (even mcdonalds) skip the bad food or sugary snacks or drinks one time a month and you got yourself a great app. I love it so far, the only suggestion i would have is a bundle price. Something that makes it worth getting all 5 programs for a deal. That’s something that the developers need to do the math over if it’s profitable. I love the app, i would love to unlock all 5 sections but for now i’m good with two. I’ve stretched two times 30minutes each and i already see a big improvement. If your goal is to become flexible, this is your app.

Great for inflexible people
I am very inflexible, and the short stretches are perfect lengths for me as a beginner. I love that the instructor named Alicia (dark hair) breaks instructions down into small steps and gives tips so you know if you should adjust your body to get the most out of the stretch. She also provides halfway stretches as alternatives for people like me who are very inflexible and can't yet do some of the stretches. I appreciate that the app sends me reminders to do my daily stretch or stretches. Without them popping up on my phone screen, I would forget or make an excuse not to do them. This is the first exercise or stretching-related routine I've stuck with, and I think it's because of the slow, patient instruction, short classes, and stretching reminders. One thing to note is that there are many stretches that begin on your knees (on all fours), so if you don't have much knee padding, you should plan to stretch on a very thick carpet or pillow. A yoga mat was not thick enough for me (my knees hurt because of all the stretches on all fours).

mixed feelings
I am at intermediate level in terms of flexibility (dancer), and want to work on middle splits and oversplits. Trying out the free trial after being bombarded by instagram ads. I really enjoyed Alicia’s videos - she is a great teacher and the videos are well done. The downside is that most of the intermediate splits classes are in another format with another woman in a blue top with a voiceover, and the video looks like they freeze frame her and loop her doing the same exercise if it’s a repetitive one. I really just can’t get into those videos at all and find myself skipping over the days where I have to take her class in a program. I also dislike that the class screenshot / preview video shows another woman doing the class! It means I have to click around and start playing the class only to find it is that lady I want to skip. I really wish they would re-record those older videos and update them so that every class would be in the new format which is much more enjoyable to follow along with. I am on the fence about paying for a subscription considering how many of the videos are in the old class format.

My shoulder mobility and back flexibility are improving!
I never write reviews for apps, but I had to share my success with this. I was skeptical, because I used to be super flexible on my own. But, now in my 30’s and with neck and back issues, it’s been a struggle. After completing a 30 day bendy back challenge I can honestly say that I see some real improvements in my shoulder mobility and back flexibility! I can actually do a full wheel pose now! This app has given me hope that it’s not all downhill from here, I just needed to do the right exercises. Even at a local gym, it costs more just for one flexibility class than a whole month of this app, so it’s well worth it to me. This is in no way a paid review. I just had to share because I’m so excited to see how much I can improve my flexibility. If you’re finding that you’re stuck like me, I highly recommend doing one of the 30 day challenges, track your progress and see if it works for you!

Love! Handstand Challenge?
Hi! First off I’m very new the app. In fact I haven’t tried a video yet or anything but listen the app is so intriguing off glance and I just know I’m going to love it. The movements, progressions, and goals that the women exhibit in just the previews (as you scroll through exercises it shows you a brief preview before you click on it) , is exactly what Ive been wanting! That level of control and acceptance of my body, that awareness is just emitting from this app. Okay but the reason I’m writing this so early is I just had a thought. My boyfriend and I have been wanting to learn how to do a handstand for so long. We know handstands aren’t about just about strength physically, but about balance, oneness, and focusing on muscle groups you don’t usually use as well. That would be an amazing addition to this app out of my own selfish want to learn it the way I know you guys would lead and structure it. let me know your thoughts 🌸thnkuuuu

I like it! Just some things...
I purchased the yearly because I wanted to try the 30 day middle split! Before I tried, I was able to spread to 130ish degrees within ten seconds. During around seven days though I didn't seriously record, it felt like I was able to get around there in two. I can't do a middle splits cold as of yet, but I should eventually get there. During the days, I noticed the "middle splits" programs were (or at least they felt that way) placed in a strange order; one day I'd do "splits routine 9," and then another day would be "splits routine 4," then 17 and then another chosen number; of course there would be hips, full body, and recovery in between though. I'm gonna assume there's a method behind the madness, but that was a bit of a gripe. It asked for "full middle splits" and I wasn't there yet! I haven't measured how deep I can after the 30 days yet as I wanna give my legs a rest for a couple days. But I know I gained some flexibility and mobility there based on some things. I still have the yearly sub, so I might try another "many day challenge" when I feel I need it. There are other routines I've tried and they work in their own ways. This app pretty much has the videos there for one to follow along with. Now if you guys used the Unity engine with some 3D animation where we can move, zoom, and rotate (nothing a certain way intended), it could help to ensure we're doing the exercises properly... But yeah. I like this app so far.

Perfect stretch: mornings, evenings, travel
The app has gotten a lot better! I have given it 5 stars even though I haven’t gotten through all of the classes. Even before they made the videos much better (and they are much better now, I am not rushing from one move to the next or missing the stretch for half my body..hopefully this continues) but StretchIt has helped me to get my splits already (with warm up, hopefully one day without). I love the bendy back stretches in the morning (lots of twists and floor work that is easy to do waking up), I love the get your splits class in the evening or a combination of both, and I love using the app when I travel for work (or play) it keeps me going and provides and easy way to get my time in. Also (I only currently pay for the splits and the back on) both classes help me to start stretching the other part of my body. The bendy back includes some warm ups to stretching my legs which is a great Segway into getting my splits.

Very professional, worth the price
I’ve used quite a few stretching and yoga services / apps, and this is my current one for stretching. I have mostly used cheaper stretching apps that are more basic, but they don’t offer the same benefits as these professional classes. I was a competitive gymnast when young, and just for fun, started learning ballet in my 30s, which requires a lot of flexibility. I’ve done yoga since my 20s (regularly but not too seriously), so I have a lot of experience with flexibility training. I still like to do various flexibility workouts, especially yoga, which I do in the mornings. I am not a morning person, so I like to save my cardio for the afternoons, but I really needed a good flexibility app for after. I usually do this app at the end of my evening workout. I’ve done a few of the shorter programs so far, starting with the easiest programs, since I was out of shape when I started (and a completist). Being 41, I really appreciate the professional value, as the instruction and cuing considers all levels and body types. It feels inclusive and not stuck up, which a lot of flexibility activities can be, sorry to say. But, whatever level you are, you can really see results with any of these programs, because that’s clearly how they’re designed. I don’t even mind paying the price because I really appreciate the model.

Made it easier to commit.
Everyone has commitment issues and my Achilles heal is consistency. How do I know what to commit to when the results are unknown. Well, I’ve been watching Goku and Vegeta level up since the anime started showing on Toonami and it finally occurred in order to be the Martial Artist I want to be, I needed my splits. Alicia’s directions in the Stretch It app are so direct and paced it keeps me out of my head and focused on “doing the move”. She totally crushed any doubts I had about learning how to workout or stretch online because the app set up is so simple and easy to navigate. I also enjoy how there is a 90 Day Split challenge which gives me a direct objective to focus on. It allows me not to think I’ll be doing the splits in 90 days, but that I’ll have a tool I can use for 90 days straight and it’s up to me to commit from there. I’m 2 days in and perfectly content knowing the direction I’m headed.

Great App
Love the is app but does move too quickly through the stretches. Should remain in them slightly longer and allow breathing deeper and longer breathes with the inhale and exhale focused to allow muscle relaxation. Flow moves too quickly for a follower to be able to adjust and get the full benefits of the intended stretch. Otherwise, it is a great app with intuitive stretches and great combinations. Truly love the clean minimal aspect and the ease of use of the software. I am excited to spend more time with this app and love the fact that I can schedule my next session with notifications. This is beneficial because I can set routines as I go throughout the day to help me get out of my chair at work or plan between errands. Overall, it is a great app and hope this helps. After my review they emailed me directly with advice and help and wow what an amazing staff. I am excited to see where this company goes. ❤️

How do I begin to thank the creators of this app?
I didn’t think flexibility was in the cards for me after years of weight training with not enough stretching. This app totally changed my life. My boyfriend is amazed at how far I’ve come in just 3 months. I can’t wait to see the lengths I will go with the years to come. I originally started because I always wanted to be able to do a split but now I’m completely addicted to improving my total body flexibility and even decided to start pole next. Can’t thank you enough for awakening this passion that I didn’t know I had. 💙💙💙 Update: Dismantling the negative reviews... I’m not sponsored by StretchIt app just an AVID, grateful user and kind of perturbed by some of the negativity. 1. If you find this app to be too expensive, just don’t use it. Why disrespect the hard work and passion that went into it? Not cool. 2. It is 100% suitable for beginners!!! My body was so tight, I couldn’t even touch my toes when I started this program.. I could do a full forward fold after about 3 months. People will try something once, get discouraged because of their own negativity and lack of discipline and then take to the internet and spew their negativity there... again, why disrespect the people that put so many hours into creating this? Happy to see that so many people share my passion for this service, but it 100% deserves 5 stars..

Overall ok
I've been using this app for over a week now. I'm somewhat flexible (can touch toes, front splits, etc) so I don't have any trouble following the videos without pausing. My issue is that while some videos are great, others aren't. The videos with the black instructor are great cause they have a nice flow and goes thru every move and every rep with you. The videos with the white blonde woman are terrible to follow. I find myself needing to pause at every position because the instructor tells you to get into a position and tells you to repeat it several times, but then immediately goes on to the next position without any time in between. I would need to pause at every position in order to do the reps they said to do. This isn't great when I'm in a position that's difficult to pause the video. If the creators can add in extra time in between each position so we can continue the suggested reps, that would be great. Otherwise, I'd just skip the Full Body Classes at medium length.

Great application
I like the application a lot. It gives me the feeling that I’m on actual class in the studio. I can start a training when it comfortable for me. Intermediate level is exactly what I expected and I see that it helps me to progress. However, some on the videos are presented with the white background where separate voice explain what to do. During such videos I miss the involvement in the class. Hope these videos are the old one and the application will have more videos with the trainer in the studio. So I think it will be my main criteria if I stay with the application or leave. Update: I read the comment that these video will stay because they are more challenging and they will be added in all challenges :( I hope they will be re-recorded because I want to stay with application. These video let me think if I really need it because I can find stretching posture in different cheaper applications.

From free trial to yearly subscriber
The app is amazing - for me it’s having a woman of color as the lead instructor. Just makes me feel (as a Black Caribbean-Latinx woman) like seen and representation matters. Regarding the app function it takes the thinking or competitive nature in me out of my head. It suggests stretches for me - sends me reminders - and also takes into account what stretching i have been doing to suggests new ones. As a competitive CrossFit athlete this app is exactly what I need. It’s helped alleviate lower body pain, helped me with my posture in my Olympic lifting complexes, and overall just given me my body back the flexibility I feel like I loose due to working from home lately. Great app, certainly recommend. Only feature I suggest is the ability to lower the volume on the instructor so my music can be a little louder than background level.

Fantastic app + customer service
I barely ever write app reviews, but this is a necessary one! I just have to tell you how pleased I am with this app. I love the interface, the instructor (She’s incredibly versatile and expressive in that minimalist way of legendary actors - such range with minimal expression! Give this woman an Oscar!) and the exercises. I had a subscription issue that was resolved in an efficient, delightful and grammatically flawless manner by Dasha. (Plus the customer service sign-off is “Thank you for stretching with us”. It’s too much.) I’m CHARMED, let me tell you. I’ve followed one of the programs for around a week now, and I have regained a remarkable amount of flexibility. Full disclosure - I used to be very limber; my party trick was wall splits, but that was 20 years ago. But give me another week or two…

Love the app
There are parts I genuinely love about the app. It has creative and fun exercises that don’t repeat themselves to make stretching less boring, and you can choose whether you want longer or shorter sessions. I love the challenges but I’d love for the option to check off a day when I’ve done my own stretches instead of the app ones. I also wish it’s smarter about the tracking. If I had gone back and made up for a class/day I missed I’d love for it to count for the challenge still. I also wish I can choose and replace the designated class of the day - what if I there's a particular class I wanted to take? The current design only counts the designated ones towards the challenge and not the ones you add. You can’t replace classes either. Overall I think it’s doing a good job teaching flexibility. But I think it can be more open and dynamic about encouraging stretching .

Hard to use video controls: hate the update
I’ve been using the app with a yearly subscription since 2019 and used to love it. They’ve since updated their video player and it’s become difficult to use and no longer user friendly. It’s hard to pause the video (you used to just be able to tap the screen). Now you need to tap the screen to bring up the bar, then tap the TINIEST pause button, that is also right next to TINY fast forward and reverse buttons. So while trying to pause I am now always either going forwards or backwards. You often need to pause to ‘grab a strap’ or ‘grab a block.’ It’s becoming increasingly frustrating and I’m starting to hate using the app. They’ve also since added in absolute beginner classes (which is great for those who need that) but when I chose a challenge and select intermediate, it feels like a waste to then get days doing absolute beginner classes in which I feel no stretch or any potential progress from.

I ❤️ this app but…
I’ve been using the app for a month. Pros: - high quality content - great pacing - clear instructions - three choices of lengths of classes - ability to play music through Apple’s music app at a loud level - tons of different stretching classes - props needed well indicated Cons: - the videos must be really large because like other reviewers, I too have faced videos that just won’t download, stop and start etc - can’t favorite a video - can’t search - only one shoulder class - can’t find videos based on body part such as hip or upper back or neck - can’t find video based on pain area like lower back or knee etc - I don’t see any indication of recommendations based on my feedback. I’ve been rating each class but I don’t see any changes in what’s recommended. I really like this app because it focuses solely on stretching unlike Apple’s fitness app, plus I love the way you can actually hear the music and it’s the music you want. So I’m going to pay the, yes, expensive $20/month in the hopes that some of the cons are fixed quickly. I feel like the content creator was let down by the programmer. They’ve got to get those videos more compressed and they’ve got to try to tag the videos better and add a search so we can find more classes easily. Plus get the recommendation algorithm actually working.

Love this program
I’ve used stretchit at different points in my flexibility and life. Since my first subscription in 2020 (they saved me over Covid!) they have addd so many great new classes. You cannot beat this price for the quality they put out. They have a full understand of static, active and ballistic stretching which improve flexibility more quickly. I’m back to their program after a long injury which took a lot of my flexibility during recovery. I’m determined to get back to my most flexible point of over-splits and finally achieve a middle split. Their different training programs allow you to focus on specific areas like these and more. They also really cater to every level of flexibility which is amazing. Highly recommend!!

Not FREE!
Free means free! We’ll, not this app. I already pay for a gym membership, a private trainer and pilates reformer classes, so I wasn’t looking to shell out another $14/mo. The ad caught my eye on Twitter, FREE!, and for someone with really tight hamstrings and back pain, I was interested in another alternative to stretch at home between conference calls. I’ve been working out for many years, I know how to stretch, but FREE options and something new, why not?! I wasted 10 min signing up and downloading a 10 min hamstring stretch only to find I couldn’t even try it without locking myself into a free trial. I don’t need another “free trial” that I forget to cancel before it’s too late. If you are going to advertise “FREE”, then don’t bait and switch someone. As another person had pointed out, 7 days isn’t enough time to see a difference and make a decision when it comes to an exercise app. 30 day trial is a more reasonable assessment period. Very disappointed I didn’t even get to try it without commitment.

If you want to get real flexibility, this is a great tool!
Can you stretch on your own without this app? Of course. What's been stopping you then?! Haha! One of the things this app does beautifully is provide a framework, so that when the schedule says time to stretch, you just follow along with the little class. How many times have we thought we were going to spend 30 minutes stretching and then the 30 mins goes by and all we've done is look at pictures of people stretching on Instagram 😂? The classes are very well done, and the discipline that the app brings is a great contributor to meeting your goals. Try it, you get 7 days free to see what I mean. But if you're actually interested in your front or middle splits I'm guessing you won't cancel at the end of the trial.

One Class In To Stretch It App
Progression was excellent. Teacher’s cues and voice extremely calm and helpful. Breathing cues and breathing itself - address working on, mouth closed, in and out through nose… (ujjayi). I find that I am resisting the setting a time for the practice AND, I also believe it may be helpful in setting an intention and habit for time management (and distractions). I do think the selfie at the end could expand the app into having a social platform component, if it can be done in a way that doesn’t distract from practice time. I did try to share it to my Twitter account but the picture posted in the app upside down. 🤷‍♀️ I appreciate your work, finances are tight, and cost would be my only objection but I am also an unemployed yogi right now. 🙏🏻🧘‍♀️🤔🤫👁 (Yogis with jobs should definitely get this app.)

Love this app!
I’ve been using the app intermittently for several months. I do not mobility train exclusively at the moment, but am considering it in the future. StretchIt is a great companion to the strength training and running I’m currently doing, and also helps you reach your flexibility goals. The videos are easy to follow, offer multiple levels of difficultly, and have varying lengths to fit your schedule. I’ve done yoga heavily in the past, which I still enjoy greatly, but I think the progressions in the app are better suited to focused mobility training itself. Their Instagram page is also very active and often has free classes and Q&A. I think the subscription price is reasonable for everything that comes with it. So happy with this! Thank you!

Best Exercise App I Can Think Of
This team will tailor to you interactively with the versatility of the programs, individual classes, live classes, media options, and editing regularly. They update classes, use real people as models for poses, and make everything clear as possible. I have never seen another exercise app that does all of this and also quickly helps with technical issues. They have do discounts on their memberships for purchasing and they are overall clear in their striving progressive sense of getting you to achieve and optimize your goals for your personalized intent. I am so grateful for such a versatile app that helps me stretch, circulate, sweat, and make my own plan. Thank you StretchIt creators!

Great app!
I love this app and subscription! I have really bad hip and back pain. This is the only app I’ve found that is both easy to follow and works wonders. I haven’t done many other programs other than the ones specific towards hip and back stretching, though I fully plan to given the results I’ve had so far. In addition, I recently had an issue and had to reach out to the customer service team. They were phenomenal and resolved my issue immediately and were beyond friendly. It was a joy to chat with them and makes me further appreciate this app. I will be recommending them to any that ask or need from here on out. So happy to have found STRETCHIT!

Super helpful
I am so inflexible and have been experimenting (&failing) with getting into stretching on a daily basis. This app has helped me by simply having access to quick/easy videos with one tap. The stretches are dynamic and interesting! There are only two small things that could be improved: 1) the videos start super quickly, so when I press play the instructor is already a step ahead of me by the time I get to my mat to position myself or turn up the volume. 2) I wish there was some more insight / narration given about what muscles we’re stretching, what they help with (e.g, hip mobility, balance, back pain, etc), or what it might mean if a stretch is difficult, etc, ya know? like when people talk you through yoga stretches? Otherwise, I am enjoying it

Rude Admin and needs to work on customer service
I asked a question via their Instagram social media and the response was rude. If you are rude to your potential customers then I feel for the actual people that sign to be your customers. Do yourself a favor and don’t sign up for this. You are better off googling the movements in google which that seems like that all they do. Especially if you are going to get a rude response and f you ask a question. If I could give it ZERO stars then I would but sadly even more one star is too much for the awful customer service. Be happy in 2021 and get a new attitude. I don’t know who made your 2021 awful but no reason to be rude to me because I asked a question and I was willing to pay 160 for a full year. Thank you for showing your true colors. Anyone else beware. You may want to ask a question before you buy it and you will see how this admin response and you will be thankful you went another direction.

LOVE this app.
This is sort of a precursor to yoga if you're interested but know you're not yet flexible enough that start. Ive been doing the classes for beginning for about 25 days now and they are making a very noticeable difference for me. I work a desk job in the medical field so I work long hours with little stretching/full body movement and I do these classes on my breaks or before work. My body is starting to notice and feel a lot more fluid/comfortable in my movements. I also feel like its helping with a lot of stiffness from my rheumatoid arthritis but I can't say for sure yet until I notice a real noticeable difference on that front. Either way, it's definitely worth the money.

Good app but it’s better to take an in person class
This app -from a dancer who is pretty flexible- is ok but not perfect. When stretching to achieve a goal you really need an in person training so they can move you to the right position to get you the best stretch. I have been able to wrap my leg around my head sense I was 8 so I know how to stretch pretty well. This app has some good stretches but some that could potentially hurt you if you do it wrong. But on the other hand if you are dedicated to making sure you are stretching right and stretching often then you could be okay. From experience I would recommend to take one or more in person stretching classes to know what stretches are good for you and your goals also to make sure you are doing it right and won’t hurt yourself.

Comprehensive and Integrated
I am so loving this app. It’s hard for me to get to a place that offers yoga where I live. This app is so comprehensive and so professionally done I wish I would’ve known about it sooner! I am doing the full body challenge currently and I love how it breaks it down into small steps every day building on each other. It also teaches new positions that I have seen in books but mostly when I’ve done videos it’s sun salutations over and over. I’m so excited to finally learn these new asanas and feel confident that my body will get more flexible and energetic over time so I can finally reach my goals safely and enjoy-ability . Thank you for the creators of this app. It really is amazing! You nailed it!

Loving It!!!
I have to say I am loving this app. I’ve done a variety of methods to increase my flexibility, purchased many programs. Yoga, Pilates, dance, you name it. I have my front splits, but they’ve never been comfortable or reliable. With this app and the programs and classes it offers, I’ve never felt so healthily flexible! They stretch EVERYTHING. Even the ankles! My splits are deeper and stronger than ever. Everything that was missing from other methods I’ve tried, this app fills in. The classes are really fun and not overwhelming, but you feel well worked afterwards! And I love all of the trainers. They all have their little quirks. Overall I just appreciate an actual holistic approach to flexibility!

I have never been so consistent with my stretching
I got this in hopes to do splits. I haven’t gotten there yet but the overall flexibility has been surprising and it hasn’t stressed my body out like it did when I did it on my own (where I was doing intensive stretching more than I should) even if I never reach splits, this app has been worth it. I hurt my shoulder a few years back and have gained so much range back just doing their splits/everything splits programs. Whenever a feature stopped working that I liked due to an update, I contacted them and it was not only fixed within the same week but they contacted me to let me know. Highly recommend!

Made for beginners
I came across this app a week ago and thought I would give it a try. Looking at the content inside the app I know this is a legit app. The app is definitely made for both male/female. I’m a male and use to do gymnastics and swimming and diving most of my life and over the years I know I lost flexibility being out of it. When I started doing these programs I’ve seen some of my flexibility come back. It’s just something people need to remember these apps won’t show insane results overnight it takes a good month of being constant on doing it to see better results. I’m glad I found this app and would recommend it to anyone

Thoughts
I do like the idea of this app - things that I like- so far I’ve only had a couple of weeks but it seems like it had a very good direction for wanting to get my splits. It’s nice to have the different times (15,30,45 min) of classes. Things to work on - -Have a warm up indicated - jumping jacks or something to get the muscles warmed up- I think this would be safer -Actually have a recommended training schedule -I have taken the direction from your other reviews in saying just do the movements as best you can, but it would be nice if you had modified movements for when the teacher goes into the splits and does things you can’t do - it’s difficult to determine if I’m in the correct position since I don’t have my splits yet and can’t go down that far- I had to look at other split videos to see what my back leg should be doing. I think your clips that are labeled beginner should have an element of building blocks so the student knows how to progress. - Have a streaming option - While there are a few suggestions - i would still recommend it- between my own research and doing these classes I can feel and see little improvements.

Noticed improvement - love this app!
I’ve been trying for years to become more flexible for dance and nothing has worked until StretchIt. I’ve taken flexibility classes intermittently, done loads of yoga, “stretched on my own” after class and felt very few gains in flexibility. I’ve been doing the Platinum Flexibility challenge for the past month and I can already feel such a big difference all over. I like that the challenge books the classes for you so you just follow along but you can also schedule your own. It created accountability for me to stretch 4-5x/week. Most of the classes are 15-30 minutes which is totally do-able. Could not recommend this app more!!

This is the real deal
As a performer and someone that has avidly struggled with consistent flexibility training, this has finally engrained the habit, going a year solid now!! It is different every day, it is active flexibility, mixed styles of ballet, Pilates, physio, rhythmic gymnastics, contortion, c.a.r.s, yoga etc, and so so deliberately thought through. This has forever changed my mindset on flexibility training, everyone I share this app with also sticks with it and loves it. Mobility is the most important thing for our body’s. Get this app and make it a habit. So rather you are circus, yoga, CrossFit, weight lifters, MMA, whatever your movement is. This will be a staple in your daily maintenance and flexibility training. Thank you so much Stretch it!!

Love the variety some flaws
The quality of the streches is exactly what I had been looking for. Got this app to become more flexible, get my splits and start my progress to later be able to do more dance poses I can’t quite do right now. Love the routines, I feel my streches improving already. The flaws to me are related to playing music or listening to the instructions. You can’t do both and if you start the music there’s no way to go back to instructions. You have to close out the app. Either that or it’s a glitch that happens all of the time for me. So annoying. Hoping they will fix it. Really love the routines so it’s a small inconvenience compared to the benefit you get from it

Worth the Price / Nothing Like It
I’ve tried a lot of apps and paid online programs that I’ve seen advertised on IG. I hesitated on this one because of the price tag. After not making a lot of progress, I decided to try STRETCHIT, and I regret not getting it sooner. The 30 day programs have so much variety. I could see progress in my strength and flexibility in about 2 weeks. On top of that, the sessions with Alicia are amazing. She’s my favorite trainer, and I get so excited when I see her pop up for today’s workout. She is a calming “presence” coming through my phone, and boy is she good at explaining each movement. I love this app so much!

Loving it
I made a mistake in my email when registering. But it let me do two classes and I loved them. I went to do more classes the next day and it told me that they didn’t have anyone registered with my email. I contacted them and they contacted me within a couple hours after I emailed them. They were able to correct my error in giving them the wrong email address. I’ve now done four classes and I’m still loving it. By-the-way when I was able to do the first two classes I did it from the website. When I tried the next day it was from the app. Thank you for the help.

Some great classes, some too difficult
After 3 months (5 stars): I’ve been impressed with how much I’ve improved. I’m an active but overweight man. I’ve gone from not being able to sit on my heels to nearly being able to do the splits. I would definitely recommend giving it a try. Original review (3 stars): I’ve been using Stretch It for about three weeks. I love about half of the classes. The other half are frustrating because they are listed as beginner but are too challenging and offer no modifications so you find yourself just sitting there frustrated that you can’t even come close to doing the recommended move.

Not great for a true beginner, but works if you’re willing to skip moves
I was really excited about this, especially the touch your toes challenge as I have seriously inflexible legs and I would assumed it would be great for an absolute beginner. However…there are some moves where if I could do that, I wouldn’t be taking a touch your toes challenge. When I come upon those moves, honestly I just skip them, replace with a child’s pose or forward fold/pike, and hope I can do that more difficult move in 2-3 months time. I would rate this 5 stars if there was at least 1 or 2 true, absolute beginner challenges or programs to help build basic flexibility.

Natasha's classes are too difficult for beginners!!!
Please take all of Natasha's classes out of the beginner programs and remove the beginner label from them. She gets into some difficult positions, and then she's like, "If this is difficult, do this instead." But I can't even do the easy version! Also, I don't like the disembodied voice in Natasha's classes. Alicia's classes are way better for beginners. It also feels more like Alicia is talking to me and coaching me through it. I like her classes much better. Also, you should put the instructors names in the app somewhere. I had to look them up on your website so that I could refer to them in this review.
