Great time blocker, but a few areas for improvement
First off, I really do love using this to organize my time and plan out my day across all my different to do lists. It helps me manage my day tremendously and I have not found a better alternative so far. I also understand that due to the complexity, the app is meant to be more complimentary to the process you complete on the desktop version. However, for the price you pay, a few things would make this an ultimate standout for me: 1.) more integration options with other apps (for me specifically, tick tick instead of only Todoist as a to do list app option). Right now, the limited number of integrations (while streamlined and easy) - operates under an “all or nothing” approach where you must use the apps they offer in order for this to be useful. 2.) WIDGETS! If the goal is to help you streamline the never ending sources of professional, personal, and other tasks into one clear source of “truth” with a plan…and with the amount we spend on mobile, if the app cannot operate effectively as a stand alone product - then widgets would help resolve that issue on my end. It would offer visually effective overviews of your schedules, progress, objectives etc. in a way that makes sense for the specific individual and greatly help with motivation throughout the day, even when away from the “desktop”. A huge reason I honestly preferred tick tick over to doist as a personal to do list task manager was due to its effective widgets, so I was bummed when I couldn’t integrate it into Sunsama. 3.) better ways to move, re-reschedule, delete etc. with multiple items at a time. - For example, right now it has you plan or look at two days at a time. And if you are past the recommended number of hours in a day - it will recommend you move those items to next week (no option to reschedule “one day” from that screen). - Also, if you planned out a week in advance and later need to shift things around, it would be great to be able to group items and move them all together (or select multiple at a time). Sometimes items are related but not grouped into sub tasks, and it becomes extremely frustrating to move and stroll over 1 task at a time. - more clarity about what “deleting” does and also if a day went by but you didn’t “check” off a task. Does it move it back to the specific inbox of the task manager you pulled it from? Does it go into an archive list where you then forget about it? Depending on the situation I’ve seen it all happen, and it would be great to have ore clarity upfront.
