Worth every penny!!!
I’ve tried more chore charts, systems, and calendars than I can count and was never successful with them. I also have been terrible about getting the family involved so would take on more than one person reasonably can do, therefore my house was never really getting 100% clean. I saw an IG ad about this working for people with ADHD and I was intrigued by it. I have long known I had ADHD (since the 80’s before it somehow became popular to say that??!) and suspected that may be why my systems just weren’t working for me. I downloaded the free version and tried it a bit and was amazing that just breaking tasks down into smaller and more achievable actions made me want to do it each day, moreover I finally was feeling a little bit of a sense of accomplishment whereas before I’d be so overwhelmed I’d either do nothing or marathon clean for hours to try to get things done. Now I have the premium version and my entire family is involved. My two sons are competing for first and second place daily and sometimes doing more than they’re even assigned. My youngest also has ADHD and it’s been so easy for him to stay motivated with this app. I have been recommending it to anyone who will listen lately. It’s truly changed my life and the cleanliness of my home. As an added bonus my whole family is feeling a sense of accomplishment and less stress, which a clean home and hard work brings. By far my favorite app I have ever used! Thank you for developing this!

Game changer
I hardly ever leave reviews, but this app is amazing. It’s stopped arguing from my kiddo about how much he does, because all kids think they have to do everything. He’s wanting to compete with his dad. He’s shocked by how much I (his mom) does. His dad are neck and neck for chores. And the effort options allow him to spend about the same amount of time cleaning each day, even if he’s doing more intense things. He likes that because he doesn’t feel like hes doing less chores even though he spending the same amount of time working on them. We instituted a prize at the end of the week based on the tasks completed. I love that I can check his work when he’s done too. It keeps him honest. It’s also good because my husband and son are not both waiting for me to tell them what to clean. Which just isn’t healthy for a marriage to have to be telling someone else what to do NOR being the one being told what to do. This way everything is getting done. The effort calculators also helped my husband and I realize that we just don’t have the time to keep things as clean as we expect them to be. We’re hiring cleaners this week to come in 1-2 times a month to hit the stuff we’re just not getting to and it will make us feel like it’s worth it. I have also contacted the developers a few times with questions and suggestions. I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly they got back to me. I hope the app flourishes and continues to make improvements to stay relevant.

As someone with ADHD this app has been extremely helpful at breaking down tasks.
Normally when I tackle cleaning, I have “cleaning days” and spend the entire day trying to wash clothes, sheets, towels, etc., in addition to any cleaning or deep cleaning I’m trying to do. As someone with ADHD, I can get distracted and overwhelmed very easily and it might take me 3 hours to clean my bathroom due to executive dysfunction. I love that this app breaks things down via room, and then has tasks (and custom tasks) within that room that you can complete. Keeping track of these tasks in this manner makes me feel like I’ve still accomplished a lot even if I haven’t entirely cleaned my bathroom or bedroom, because I know I’ve broken it down into bite-sized tasks. I will also open the app when I have some downtime or am in the mood to clean and can see small tasks like wiping light switches or light fixtures, and might go ahead and take care of that because it’s quick. It’s easy to stay motivated and not overwhelmed by the amount of things I have to do, and I still feel like I’ve accomplished a lot. My roommate also has ADHD and I think this would be helpful for her managing cleaning as well, and when I’ve already talked to my partner about the two of us paying for premium and using it to keep each other accountable whenever we live together. Thank you for making this app accessible, cute, and easy to use.

Love it so far, I have Autism & ADHD!
I have been forever trying to find something to break down my house cleaning and I’m going to use it to break down my animal tasks as well! Before I got diagnosed even I have tried different things from planners to other apps and lists you name it I’ve tried it! Never bought a app but this one seems to be great so far in the free version and affordable if you want the better version. I just downloaded it today added all the rooms in the house and tasks and I love that you can choose when, how hard it is, how clean it is at the moment, how often, and all of that!! I need something preferably on my phone that has all the tasks broken down because even my dry erase board doesn’t always work so having this and that should really help especially with a good widget! Most other apps are too expensive! Don’t have what I need etc! I think the premium has where you can add different times not sure but the only thing I would say to be changed is have different reminders for tasks and have the option to not have reminders in some things and have some on the other tasks as needed!! Still 5 stars just a little something that would help a lot of us probably!

Great app with a few bugs
I want start off saying that I love this app! Definitely worth it and it helps my and my kids’ neurospicy selves have a landing point to turn to when we’re overwhelmed and don’t know where to start. It takes a bit of set up, but once you have it how you want, it’s awesome! I’ve been running into a few bugs lately though and was unable to get anywhere trying to report it so here I am in the reviews. When you click on a task to mark it as completed, there is an option to select a past date if you forgot to check it off right away at the time. This helps with accuracy of how often things are actually getting completed. I’ve been finding that when I use the app under one of my kids’ profiles to put in yesterday as the day the task was completed, it does not save properly. I put in Jan 31 for several tasks under my kids’ profiles, but when I went back under myself as Home Organizer to approve the work approval requests, it had Jan 2 listed for all of them. There is no option to adjust the date that was entered as a child after the work approval request had been sent. If they could either make the date save correctly, or allow Home Organizers to adjust the date after the request has been submitted by the child, that would be a very much appreciated fix!

Can’t believe brains are so easy to hack
I am very…I guess what the kids would call neurodivergent… the inside of my head is a scrambled mess of nonsense and chaos and disorder that can only be handled or remedied in the slightest with rigid (although also very self forgiving and empathic) self-discipline and routine, of which I lacked most of, if not all of any sense of that until the most recent years. I have found great success in apps set up in the way this one is. It’s a game. Takes some of the seriousness out of what can seem impossible when you’re so behind in everything in your life. There it adds some whimsy and gives you just the right around of those little “wins” we all sometimes need to get out of the stagnate paralysis that my anxiety gives me. Haven’t even been using Sweepy for long, and I can already sense a change in my sub conscious reaction to the thought of doing chores around the house. Instead of triggering dread, and shame and anxiety. It makes me remember I can do something small and get points. As silly as it sounds, even though I know it’s made up, to sum it up, I’m amazed everyday how powerful ours minds are if we just find the right little treat to keep us engaged.

*I have a suggestion*
I've gotten more done using this app then I have from trying to force myself or feel in the mood to do anything around the house and I feel more satisfied after each task because of the way this app is designed. It leaves me feeling productive, energized, accomplished, and helps me feel even more motivated after every single task. I wish I used this sooner because it has really been a useful tool in keeping me on track! * I wanted to make a suggestion: It would be really nice if I could move the tasks by dragging them above or below other tasks easily to better organize them instead of having to "x" out of them and make a new one but other then that this app is the best app I've ever used for cleaning and am thinking about upgrading as soon as I get my next pay check! Thank you to the creators of this app you really changed my life for the short time I've been using it and can't wait for the many more years to come!! I've been telling all my friends and they think it's been so helpful for them as well! Thank you Creators of this app!!!! Keep being Amazing!!!!

Persistent Daily Notifications
This app is good for people who need aggressive daily reminders to do their chores - either because they have daily tasks, or because they need constant reminders on their phone. This didn't suit my household's needs, so we cancelled our subscription and deleted our account. (Btw, the household leader has to delete the entire house's account.) We only track weekly chores and recurring tasks 2-6 months from the last completion date. We started ignoring Sweepy's daily notifications, which defeats the purpose of using a paid app. I enabled the “Daily reminder notification” and disabled “Plan your day reminder notification". Push notifications appeared every day, even when no tasks were due. Unfortunately, support confirmed that this design was intentional. What I enjoyed about Sweepy was its intuitive UI. You got a list view of all rooms and tasks, plus a visual calendar of your tasks for the week. The simple three-point “Effort” rating made it easy to ensure an equitable distribution of task difficulty for the household. Gamification options were individual: achievements for exploring the app, streaks for keeping up with your tasks, and coins for buying virtual house decorations. A competition mode might be good to incentivize slackers in the house.

Incredibly helpful!
So far sweepy has really helped me with cleaning! I am autistic and struggle with mental illness as well so mental organization, time management, and motivation tend to be really hard for me. sweepy sort of “game-ifying” cleaning has helped me stay motivated and on task. Im still new to it but before my living situation was a literal potential health risk, and it has helped me slowly make my way to a better and healthier life. The only thing that i would like to see change is the effort point system: i wish there was a larger scale! Maybe up to five points or ten. For me 3 point task are very hard- things that take a long time and that i really dread. When i am doing 1 point tasks it is much easier for me to complete many tasks that are worth 1 point vs any 3 point task. This tends to lead me to procrastinating harder tasks while going after 1 point tasks like side quests. Dont get me wrong, the current system is okay, but i think bringing that range up will more so match the effort of some harder tasks , which may be beneficial to people like me, who struggle with mental illness or disability. tasks that are easy to some can feel like nearly impossible tasks to someone with my struggles.

Perfect app for keeping up with chores
Sweepy is the perfect app for keeping up with chores. You can create your own task, and it also has recommended chores for each room along with suggestions on how often they should be done. You can customize each task with how often you’d like to do it, give it a difficulty rating, and how clean it is now. Premium is a must! It automatically schedules your daily chores based on how much effort you want to put in each day. This feature is a game changer. You no longer run around randomly doing chores too often or not often enough. My home is so much cleaner overall. There are also streaks you earn for completing all your daily chores so you can make cleaning a game, and wildcards which let you skip a day once you’ve achieved a daily streak of your choice. You can even set sweepy on vacation mode if you’ll be gone for a few days so you can pick up right where you left off. It takes a bit of time to setup each room initially but once you have it setup and fine tune each task’s cleaning frequency it’s smooth sailing. Highly recommend!

So helpful! But also frustrating...
My family and I moved into a new house and wanted a lifestyle change that involves regular cleaning. Two members of my family, including myswlf, have ADD and find prioritizing and staying on task difficult and Sweepy is a wonderful solution. I love the customization ability, the depiction of cleanliness of a room as a bar which drops from green to red, and the general appealing and cute interface! But, there is a major sticking point: my family like the idea of the feature which gives a day-by-day breakdown of chores that need doing (with reminders!) but find that it just doesn't work because we have not thus far found a way to assign tasks to a certain person, only based on "effort". I may wake up to a notification that I need to make my parents' bed! I would love if, when creating a task, you could pick a family member to be in charge of that task, either always, or on a day-by-day basis. The ability to assign tasks to each family member or restrict rooms to certain family members only would take Sweepy from pretty darn good to just what my family needs! I hope the developers and those interested in downloading will consider this feedback. Thank you!

Love the tasks included and motivates me more to clean
I’ve tried downloading apps like this to help me start cleaning and organizing and I love that I can add more than three on the free app unlike others that shall not be named! 🙄 The app has tasks like clean doors which I sometimes don’t think of in my rush to do so much, I don’t feel overwhelmed because I do one room or one task at a time. I realize that should be obvious but sometimes I start in the laundry room and put something away then realize my closet is a big mess and start organizing and throw older clothes to donate on my bed then next thing I know I have more messes than when I started 😪 I love making one whole room green then at least feeling accomplished about that. I also like that I can set reminders and set custom tasks sometimes it’s time for Halloween decor to come down and next thing I know it’s full blown Christmas and I have fall decor out in my restroom. Being a mom can have you all over the place but Sweepy is helping me get better at cleaning and maintaining a decent house.

Enjoying the app, wish it did a little more for the price
I’m using this app to help keep the house clean for a family of 5, and to keep track of the care of our chickens, garden, and about 40 houseplants. My kids are too young to have a device and my husband uses another task manager so I am the only user. So far it has been helpful to have a few random tasks assigned to me each day. Checking off the list is really satisfying and I’m not bored by a set cleaning schedule. It would be great if I had the option to group like-tasks or zones on one day (like, do all the dusting in all the bedrooms on one day or do these five kitchen tasks, etc). It would also be nice to be able to sort tasks by what needs to be done soonest. I have quite a few tasks that need to be done every day but they don’t always appear in my daily list. My only other criticism is about the price. As the sole user I don’t know if I can justify the subscription fee. It’s definitely worth it to me to pay for the extra features that similar free apps don’t offer, but I’m not sure it’s worth it at the current price point for a single user. (Absolutely worth it for a family sharing the app though!)

Amazing, changed my life
I’ve never reviewed an app before but this has seriously changed my life. I’ve texted all my friends about it and how excited I am about it. It makes my days easier, tasks more manageable, and really motivates me like nothing else ever has. I’m doing so many chores and feel good about it! It was always a struggle to get started before and everything that needed to be done seemed overwhelming. With Sweepy, seeing things written out one by one and feeling like I can scroll and find one that seems easy enough for the time I have available has made me do a little chore every day and I get excited about completing it and often end up doing more chores bc I’m motivated! I also made a daily routine “room” where I have reminders for habits I want build and do everyday, which has been awesome! I’ve tried habit trackers and checklists before but Sweepy is the first thing to really make a palpable consistent difference. I am so so grateful to the developers who made this app— truly life changing!

Perfect fit for me (except ONE feature)
I do a lot of calendar/task management but I was looking for something I could see when I last did something and check things off as I go. Someone in a group online had recommended Sweepy, and once I tried it I uninstalled the other 5-6 recommended apps because this was pretty much exactly what I described in the group when requesting refs. I’m about to pay for premium once this free 3-day trial ends. I need to break things down into small steps since I can get caught up in “big haul” cleaning which makes cleaning a rare occasion for me. This helped me see how many small things I actually do regularly, as well as how to add on a few others while spreading them out more easily here and there. The only thing I’d like to add would be the ability to move things around in the daily calendar section. For example, it says to sweep the floor today but I know I want to do that tomorrow, so I drag/move it somehow to tomorrow or something is scheduled for tomorrow but I plan to do it today so I move it today so I see it in my plan for the day.

You Need This
I don’t usually write reviews but if you’re reading this and considering whether this app will improve your life - let me tell you, it will. One of the trickiest parts of maintaining the space you live in (apartment, house, travel van, whatever!) is keeping track of what needs to be done/when. This app takes that mental load OFF your plate, so you can simply open the app and see the list of which things need to be done. I’ve been using this app a year and I use it every day. It’ll take an ~hour to build your tasks the way you prefer. If you are married, schedule a “date” to build everything as a team (use this time to discuss what chores, the frequency, etc). Whether your married or not, use Google to find inspiration for your cleaning tasks. This app has not only kept me sane, but it’s allowed our household to delegate the mental load of “what/when” to an app. No more conversations about “how can I help” or “I didn’t know what needed to be done” or “what should I do” — it’s all in the app. The app also keeps track of who is doing what, giving visibility to the invisible labor to keep a house clean and running smoothly. This app has transformed not only HOW I CLEAN my house (a little bit every day - instead of a frenzied multiple hour session every weekend) but it has also transformed my house into being “a house that’s ALWAYS CLEAN”. Get this app: you need it. Once you love it: treat yourself to the premium version. You deserve it.

Almost exactly what we need! Almost
I love having an app that can keep track of chores that need doing on regular intervals. It had the flexibility of adding in one-time or occasional tasks as well (shoveling snow, for example, is as-needed). The interface is pleasant and it successfully makes me want to do chores more! My one complaint is the “effort point” system. I realize it can’t be intricate to stay easy to use, but right now it’s pretty bad for showing how much one household member has done vs another. For example, shoveling snow is grueling work that can take over an hour... and the most it can be three points? Cleaning a light switch takes thirty seconds and it’s one point! I could rack up ridiculous points while my husband’s out in the cold and it would “count” for much more. It would be worlds better if the effort points went up to 5 at least, or perhaps if you could use “time spent on chores” instead of “effort points” at all. Im trying to coax my husband into using the app with me and this is his main complaint 🤦‍♀️ it seems silly to pay for the subscription if he won’t use it with me

This app helps me be my own housekeeping service
I had previously given the app a one star review due to an issue with my account. They resolved it much quicker than expected and restored my account. The app itself is a wonderful tool that helps me stay motivated and keep my house in “visitor” order. I love that you can set your own days and even add your own tasks, one of ours is changing out wax melts. Other ideas could be cleaning the litter box, wiping down the walls, putting away laundry, etc. it’s so helpful! Keeping my streak is easy when I complete daily tasks anyways, but it’s rewarding to get to check off the boxes when you’re done (and see if you missed anything important!) An important feature for me is that I can add my husband to my lists, so if he has the time and motivation too, he can check things off. This is so helpful- the house is twice as clean with both of us helping, and both of us can keep track of what needs done around the house.

Terrific for my family of 7
We’ve been using this for two weeks now and we’ve concluded that if this doesn’t work out long term then it would be completely our fault, not the apps. The app is terrifically designed both in its complex programming and simplicity of presentation. It was a lot for me to set up but so simple for my family to follow through. Before it was like I was making my children do chores for my benefit, which isn’t a terrible reason, but it’s much better for it to be almost like the house is declaring its needs through the app and we all do our part to take care of our home, rather than it being because mom said so. My teens invited friends over without notice today and told me after that it was amazing to have been able to do that because the house was already pretty clean. Thank you Sweepy. Highly recommended, and the premium version is worth it.

Love the app but recent glitching makes it counterproductive
We’ve had this app for around 7 months. It takes a little bit of time to set up to your specific house needs but after that it’s great. You can even add routine yearly house maintenance tasks. My husband has ADHD and struggles with time management, this app was a life changer. However. In the past month there have been a ton of glitches. Tasks that were checked off reappear constantly, no reloading appropriately if you are using it linked to several devices. Seasonal tasks that aren’t for this season showing up, etc. The whole point of this app is keep track of tasks done and needing done. At this rate I won’t be renewing our yearly subscription. I reached out to support and they wanted pictures and videos. Not sure how practical taking a video of me ‘checking’ off a task one day and then another when it reappears 2 days later instead of 2 weeks as scheduled would help 😂 I’m currently on the look out for a different app but hoping they finally fix this one.

Just what I was looking for
I don’t think I’ve ever actually written a review for an app before, but this one is amazing. I’ve tried several different “to do” apps, but they were never quite what I needed. I really like the flexibility of Sweepy. It allows me to move things around when I need to. I like the way it can schedule tasks for you with the paid version. I have two young kids, and it seems like cleaning is never ending. I have everyday tasks, like reminding me to clear off the kitchen counters (yes I know this is an obvious one, but if you have kids, you know), to things like cleaning the baseboards. Now, instead of things getting to where they take hours to clean, they are broken up into easily doable chunks. I don’t always quite get to everything on the day of, but this really helps me stay on top of things and helps my sanity. Thank you to whoever made this!

Competition works wonders
Our family of 3 adults have typically been procrastinators when it comes to housework. We’ve only been using the app for a week but everyone completed all of their assignments and then some! The challenge of earning points lead to a competition of who can get the most points. This got the house cleaner much more quickly than what would have happened otherwise. We are in the process of figuring out prizes for the weekly winner and monthly winner. Weekly prizes will be something small paid for by the other members of the household like ice cream or a special dessert. Points can be saved and combined into a larger monthly reward if they also are the monthly point winner. We’re still working out what that looks like. All in all this is a fun app that managed to get 3 lazy adults off of their backsides. Sure hope the motivation continues.

New…liking, but looking for a few things
Today is my first day using Sweepy. I’m super impressed with the ease with which I could do my initial loading of tasks. Some apps I’ve tried, that’s been so tedious I gave up before I was done! Things I like: pre-set suggestions for rooms, the high degrees of customization available for rooms and tasks even without a subscription, the game functions that will help feed the dopamine seeker in me. Things I’m missing: 1) a sort for tasks in the room that tells me “what’s next.” Current sort levels can sort by how clean something is, but a room which gets vacuumed weekly should be much higher on a list than curtains which get washed twice a year, even if they’re both 1/2way through their “cleanliness” levels. 2) I was surprised that washing laundry/dishes or putting laundry/dishes away, or similar tasks, were no where on the lists. They can be created with custom tasks, but those are basic tasks I was surprised to find missing.

obsessed with this app
my boyfriend and i are currently in a one bedroom apartment with three free-roam bunnies and a cat. the amount of chores that we have to do on a daily basis on top of our full-time work and school is insane. it was also difficult to know what had been done already when one person wasn’t home. i have always loved calendar apps, habit tracking apps, anything that will “fix my life”, since i have major depression disorder & a low motivation. even though i try everything, nothing sticks. especially with my adhd boyfriend. however, THIS APP is changing the game. i started with the free version, but quickly paid the small amount for premium because i knew it would be worth it. now we both know what to do every day, no questions asked. i can also assign the chores i don’t like doing only to him and vice versa. the biggest game changer for me was the effort points. being able to rate 1-3 how difficult a task is and then doing a certain number of effort points every day instead of a number of tasks makes it feel so much more fair between my boyfriend and i. and that with the ability to set per person how many effort points you want to do depending on the day of the week?? i’m obsessed. the only way this app could be better is if they started doing my chores for me.

Makes cleaning fun & relieves the head of household
We LOVE the Sweepy app. It is 100% worth the subscription price and I’ve been raving about it to my friends and family. Being a new mom, we more than ever need to have balance with how much effort is going into daily chores both in them not stacking up after ignoring chores all week and balance between my husband and I. Now the chores come from the app and not me so I don’t have to write down a list or remind that there are things that need cleaning. It also rewards you for small tasks during the week (we set our effort points low for week days) so you can keep the mess at bay and feel accomplished that you did your tasks so you can relax and enjoy family even when other areas of the house are messy still, knowing the app has a plan and they will have their day to get cleaned. It’s great, Thank you!

Great for people with ADHD
I love this app! I have ADHD and I struggle with not only keeping track of what I need to do but how long it’s been since the last time I did it. Ex: washing my sheets or watering my plants. I find this app really helpful because it reminds you to check out what to do for the day but it’s once a day and you get to pick what time. It also has progress bars which I have always found helpful as it provides a visual of your tasks. You can design your lists in clusters to get done all at once or break it up into one or two small tasks per day. The customization is awesome! They also have “challenges” that you can participate in that help you do those once a year, spring cleaning types of tasks like reorganizing your junk drawer and cleaning out your closet. I really don’t have any complaints about it! I’ve never even noticed technical bugs!

Helpful for keeping track
I am admittedly not the best at keeping track of all the tasks in my house that need done, and this app does a great job at doing that for me- I can set how often I want every cleaning tasks done and it helps me know when certain chores are due. This is especially helpful for tasks that aren’t done as frequently like washing the windows or even reapplying flea medicine for my pets. My one major complaint about the app is that it doesn’t allow you to edit completed tasks from previous days. I try to stay on top of keeping my streak but more often than not I lose it because I did my tasks for the day and just forgot to mark them in the app. It stinks to lose my streak after putting in the effort. Another thing that would be nice is if you could set effort points required by day of the week- so that some days when you have more time you’re encouraged to get more done.

Wonderful App!
I rarely write reviews but I’ve been using this app almost every day for a year and a half and I freaking love it. I never consistently use any app (bad ADHD) and this one has actually stuck. I kind of wish they could have other to do lists like this structured by how long it’s been since you’ve done them. If you have issues staying on track with cleaning this is 100% the app to use!!! I pay for the premium and it is well worth it although the free version is pretty robust as well. Either way I definitely recommend especially for people like me who have a hard time sticking with apps or anything. 10 out of 10. Again wish I could do this for everything although with the custom entries I suppose you could adapt it to things like checking the mail or pretty much whatever you can think of.

Great for people with ADHD!
We find this app incredibly helpful at my house. We have pets, I like a clean house, and my partner has ADHD and doesn’t notice when things need done. This helps to keep us both on track and saves me the mental energy of prioritizing, delegating, and bugging. The app is well-organized, looks good, and works reliably without bugs. In newer updates, I would love to see a feature where a task is not only assignable to someone, but it sends them a notification when their task is well overdue. I’ve also noticed that it used to calculate points instantly, and now it takes closing and reopening the app to update point totals—not that big a deal, but still a functionality backslide. But overall, very happy to pay only $3/month for the organization and cleanliness this has brought to my house.

Love the app, wish it didn’t turn off my music
This app is really helpful for someone like me. I do prefer a clean room but I’m honestly blind to things like dust, a pile of clothes on the floor, or an unmade bed. This app helps remind me oh yeah you do need to pick that up for the room to actually be “clean”. I like that I can see a list of things I can do quickly while on my way to be lazy in front of the tv or if a have a few extra minutes in the morning before heading to work. The one con that I’d really like a fix for (and this goes for all apps that use sound really), if I’m playing music don’t turn off my music to play a simple sound. I do like that feature but only when nothing is playing on my phone already or if it plays then allows the music to continue right after. With this app it shuts the music off completely so I have to go hit play again. It makes it too annoying to mark things done as I go along.

It’s great EXCEPT
Let me just start off by saying I have adhd. Being able to create a list and already start off adjusting the clean levels so that way you know when a cleaning is needed, great. You can add tasks, adjust days needed in between cleaning. Add notes I.E. for a toy cleanup my note says “make the kids do it.” 🥴 I know what you’re thinking. ‘Where’s the catch’. I’m also a single mother and can’t afford premium. Which one “plus” is that it gives notifications when things get low….with that being said I literally open the app maybe 1 time a week MAYBE. Definitely every other week. As much as I like the app and it is helpful , its only when I actually remember I have it.. I’m just going to uninstall and find something a bit more convenient. so yeah if you’re not forgetful it’s worth it for free and if you have the option..get that premium. This app did set a high bar standard but I need more consistency based less currency based.

Point structure messes up my schedule
I am loving this app for the way it helps me balance my tasking throughout the week/month/year without forgetting to do anything. The newly added feature to mark seasonal tasks has ensured that I don’t end up needing to get my spring cleaning done all in the same week! The four star rating is due to the limits of the point system. I chose this app because it seemed the most useful for a single person instead of a family. Unfortunately, the point set up game to compete with your family has caused me to miss chores and have to look at each room everyday to see what I have not completed. I have changed how many points needed each day combined with what day of the week I want to do a task and am still struggling to keep my workload balanced for the week. I would really like to turn off the points and just have my schedule notify me what needs done each day, month, and annually.

Great for ADHD
My wife and I both have ADHD, and this app has been a godsend. She is often so overwhelmed by all the tasks that need doing that she can’t convince her brain to start. She feels like she’ll forget the other tasks if she starts task A. With this app, she has been able to focus and complete tasks because the mental load of picking what tasks to do has been so greatly reduced. One of our favorite features is the ability to pick who can be assigned to certain tasks. The kitchen has always been extremely stressful for my wife, so we have the app assign it to me most of the time. I was doing the kitchen most of the time before, but seeing it on my list has relieved a lot of stress off my wife. It has also reduced my stress because I know when I get off work I only need to worry about the kitchen.

The only app that has kept me on a regular cleaning routine
Okay so I never review apps but I have been recommending it to all my friends because I genuinely LOVE it. I have ADD and really value a clean and clutter free space. This app helps me understand when it’s time to clean, helps break down the tasks, and the little things to gameify it actually makes me want to do it! I’ve tried so many tracker apps that require subscriptions or are just too complicated and fall out of the rotation. I genuinely love how simple and cute this app is. My apartment has been manageable and I love how much better I feel with that all! Love for busy people, neurodivergent people, or just anyone in between truly! Thank you for making it free, please don’t ever put it on a subscription model and would love similar tracker apps by them 🙏🙏🙏🫶🫶🫶🧹🧽🧺

Great App for Household Management
It's so easy to get behind on cleaning and then feel like your house is a mess, this app makes it really easy to avoid that and to get everybody involved. The premium features are well worth the low $4/month price tag, like being able to invite multiple people to one household, get a daily cleaning schedule, assign tasks to people, etc. Once you make tasks for each room, setup schedules, and then get your house all green, it's easy to keep up with as little as 10 minutes as long as you open up the app once a day. Huge fan of this app especially with two toddlers in the house, a clean house does wonders to build good habits, keep the family from getting sick, and help with keeping stress levels low for everyone. 5 stars, would recommend!

Almost great, but not usable
I love the idea of this app. It would definitely help my roommate and I keep the house clean more effectively, and I’ve really enjoyed it when it works. Pros: -room by room chore assignments -ability to invite others into household (theoretical) -ability to set energy level and frequency for chores Cons: -huge interface issues. I am paying for premium, but I’m run through a login loop whenever I try to access my calendar. It keeps saying I need to create an account, but then won’t let me advance because my email is already registered. I know. I’m signed in, and I don’t want to recreate the entire chore list under a new email, -obnoxious messaging. For years, I would get a notification saying “what smells?” To remind me to clean. It’s incredibly rude. Like many people, I downloaded this app to help build good habits. I don’t need to be begged by it. -cutesy messaging: separating from the above because it’s awful in a different way. For example, it uses German for some reason to tell me I can’t use the email address I used to make the account. -poor communication: blanket term for the above two, but also, the only way to contact support through the app is to use Apple mail. Almost no one uses Apple mail. Why? I don’t know why the developers refuse to use standard practices. They have a great app, but these simple mistakes make the app unusable. I hope they get it together someday, because this is a great idea.

Absolutely Phenomenal
This app is amazing! I have ADHD and experience a lot of executive dysfunction, so doing chores can be overwhelming! But this app really helps me get started and make significant progress with my chores! I often don’t know where to start with my chores but this app makes that decision easy! Not to mention it really makes me feel accomplished when I see my progress in the app! This app is amazing, I love the fact that I can mark the last date I cleaned something, and put reminders in to clean certain things after a set amount of days/weeks! Also there’s quite a few “things” to clean on their lists for each room that I either didn’t even think to clean, or never had cleaned before! Which means my house is even CLEANER than it’s ever been before!!! This app is so worth it.

Sweepy has changed my life!
Thou shall know firstly that I don’t review apps ever. But I can’t help lunge out of the woodwork to profess my love for this game-changer of an app. What are my favorite aspects of Sweepy, in my first two weeks as a (heavy) user? Sweepy is very smoothly designed, both aesthetically & sonically pleasing. One of my favorite feature is the ability to turn on/off some or all of the gamification features. As a minimalist, I love that … and I do leave a few on. I think it’d be amazing to be able to hide the Family features as well to further clean it up for the solo users—if you’re listening, developers! Secondly, the UI is thoroughly thought out, you can sense the research and iteration behind the current version of the utility. Little bells and whistles here and there to assist you to customize your workflow—but never too heavy-handed. In two short weeks, I’ve gone from being a slob—who couldn’t understand the lives of people with clean homes—to a super tidy-and-clean person myself. AND I’ve had fun doing it. If you consistently struggle remember and execute tasks, or if doing so seems too cognitively expensive and/or utterly joyless, do yourself a grand favor, and give this thing a chance for a month.

Using the free version
I initially saw this app as a targeted ad on Instagram and like most ads I thought there had to be a catch, then I was motivated to list out all the issues I needed to tackle around the house, add some brain fog, and a nagging feeling to have a list and ignoring all other tasks until I did it, and it lead me to troll insta to find this app ad, and once I did I immediately downloaded and hoped for the best. And… I just wanna say that I absolutely love this app. It’s so much easier to have everything brain dumped into the app and it tell you when you last checked off an item and the room categories are so thorough as well as the customization. Definitely recommend the app if you struggle with executive dysfunction, ADHD, or mental health issues.

Mostly really great
I like it so far! The lists have already been really helpful for tracking what needs done. I love that we can have multiple people on the app and it tracks points! I would make a couple changes... 1) on the main screen (where it lists by room) I would like to have an option to display a percentage complete rather than “good enough” etc... because some of my rooms labeled “good enough” are absolutely NOT. 😅 2) I’m not sure I like the random nature of the to-do list, and I also don’t like how each of us get separate lists. I would prefer if we could just get one master daily list, not one that’s assigned by person. Anyway I’m definitely going to keep using it because I think it will still be super helpful and we can kind of work around the features that we don’t like. The rest is great!! The color scheme is really nice and I like how visually appealing it is.

Very helpful
I’ve always been scatterbrained so I survive on lists. Having this app that gives me a chore list is amazing. I love how it breaks each room down into individual tasks based on how often each one needs to be done. That way things get cleaned when needed and I don’t forget them. Ceiling fans for example. I rarely think about those things lol. This app helps me remember to dust it twice a month now and my allergies thank me for it! Two suggestions, both dealing with the widget: 1. When clicking on the widget can we have an option to go directly to the “schedule” page to mark chores as complete? Or 2. Can we mark a chore as complete directly from the widget? Like have a chore listed, click done, then the next chore to do comes up on the widget. All this without having to go directly into the full app.

Great, but let me go back!
I love this app. I am the primary cleaner of the house, and don’t have a ton to do, but often need something to help me keep track of what is most important and definitely keep on schedule with laundry! My only only only only ONLY complaint is I am a forgetful new mom who does chores mostly after baby is in bed, and I can’t tell you how many times I have forgotten to press complete on tasks at the end of the day, and can’t go back to mark as done! I feel like the app revolves around tasks being assigned based on when last done, and the cleanliness meter is effected by this of course. Also the streaks. Also my satisfaction of having been able to check an item off my list. I really hope soon you will be able to go back at least to the previous day to double check you marked everything you finished as done!

ADHD Game Changer
I always struggled with maintaining my space, especially since moving to our new home. I now have a whole floor to myself, like a tiny apartment. But I could never understand how I was and am so diligent in making sure the rest of the house is clean except for MY space. After my diagnosis everything seemed to click, but I still found it difficult to either start or FINISH a task I started. I’d work on a whole room instead of one small part at a time, which would lead to an even bigger mess. This, along with Finch, has been a huge help for me. I’m cleaning for me and my comfort basically every day. And having these small tasks to focus on means it’s a basic tidy up for mostly each day now.

Buggy
App crashes and needs to be relaunched often. There appears to be no way to undo completed tasks. Task automation is not really intuitive. I have a family of 6 and we rotate chores - except for my elderly mom who is limited. You can assign rooms to people, but then you can’t override it in the individual tasks. Likewise you can assign the tasks to particular people but making it a rotating task overrides any family member exclusions. Also - Assigning points is not a reliable way to ensure the rotation is continuing smoothly. Takes a bit of guesswork. There is no way to adjust points once awarded. That said, it’s at least doing the trick in managing daily upkeep though it is a bit more maintenance on the chore list day to day than I want - however there’s no other app that currently comes close. I hope to see updates to improve functionality soon!

Love it!
Only on day 2 of using this app, but so far I love it! It makes it super convenient to see and keep track of everything that needs to be done. I’m hoping it will help stop the arguments of who does more around the house. The only couple of improvements that I’d love to see are: -Being able to assign more than one person to a task when it requires two people to do it together. And then each person has to check it off as done on their individual apps. -Adding more tasks to be rotated between people as well as being able to add more tasks as high priority. I believe the current limit for each is 3 but it would be nice if there were more. -Each person being able to choose which tasks they prefer to do and which ones they dislike (for tasks that are shared) so that they don’t get those tasks they dislike scheduled to themselves as often. And vice versa, they get to do more of the tasks that they enjoy doing. -A room category for pets! I did a make shift “room” to keep track of when my pets need baths, flea medications, annual vet appointments, and cleaning up after them (picking up toys, washing pet beds/blankets, etc.) Can’t wait to see what new features will be added in the future!

Helpful app but has a few flaws.
The app Sweepy hat is helpful but has a few flaws that my family has noticed while using the app. anyone can edit the daily chores and add new tasks/rooms that are needed to be completed. This seems harmless, but if you have children who are likely to add silly tasks, this can be annoying at times. It would be helpful if Sweepy added A setting to allow only one person to edit the tasks. When the task at hand is partial or completed, Sweepy only allows one button to click: done. it would be more helpful, in my opinion, to have the child assess the work they did by putting it on a gauge. The parent cannot assess the work that the child completed, but instead the task is automatically put into the finished column, even if the child did not complete the task correctly. This is most frustrating with younger children rather than teenagers. Despite these few flaws, the app is an overall success, and easy to use and access. I would recommend the app to any family in need of a spring cleaning. It is much easier to use this app and let the child go and do the work by themselves than giving them constant instruction. It also is a great way to keep them updated with chores away from home.

I NO DOUBT RECOMMEND 100%!
If you have trouble with procrastination, low productivity, ADD, or even depression /mental illness, then I urge you to simply just TRY “Sweepy.” They let you experience premium features during your FREE trial so “Why not?” Setting up the tasks for each room in your home is so EASY bc it gives you options of common tasks designated for each specific room and practically auto fills each task you are about to type! Sweepy has been so helpful that I actually bought premium monthly after my free trial and have kept it! I almost never pay for an app so, trust me, this says a lot, but that’s how life and habit changing this simple, productive, and motivating app has been for me. Thanks!

Almost Perfect
I have been looking for an app to help organize my cleaning schedule for so long but nothing was what I was looking for without a ridiculous price tag/subscription, then I found Sweepy! I love the simple yet attractive interface, the ability to divide the work by room, and cleaning suggestions to add to your routine. However, the only setback I have found (so far) is the inability to sort tasks in different ways. While you are able to sort by what is “dirtiest”, tasks you only do once a year automatically make its way to the top of the list even though it’s months before it’s due. Being able to sort by cleaning frequency, date last cleaned, or even manual organization where we can sort each on its own would make this app 5 stars! Great app but could be even better 👍🏼

Amazing
I never ever rate apps but this app is worth it. I just use the free version but it helps me so much I’m thinking of upgrading. I still don’t clean every day but the days I do clean this makes it so much easier. I have ADHD and struggle with being overwhelmed by large tasks. The ability to break things down with their prompts and create new custom tasks helps me feel at ease and get things done much quicker. I love the fun noise it makes when you complete a task. I also like that it allows me to set custom time frames for things I need to do as well, like weekly laundry or daily dishes. I highly recommend this app to anyone who has issues with cleaning or figuring out where to start!

Awesome cleaning app
I have been diagnosed with moderate depression. One of my biggest triggers is a messy home. And my depression makes it even harder to keep it clean. With lack of motivation. And also knowing I have so much to do and not being able to process it all and break it down. I signed up for the yearly subscription and I think it is SO WORTH IT. I was able to break down a list for each room. And add my husband as a member. We can now see a daily checklist of what needs to be done. And it helps my anxiety and depression so much. Today is our first day using it and I’ve already done three things on my list because I’m motivated to check it off! Highly recommend this app and the yearly subscription (which is super affordable)
