App is extremely clunky; clicking payment buttons redirects you to a “provided by Captcha” or whatever screen and won’t let you proceed. Impossible to use, especially when attempting to set up auto-pay. I set up my payment info, it goes to the Captcha redirect, I click done to leave the white screen with tiny captcha logo, and it takes me back to my payment info screen. I click save and it repeats the process. I was never able to set up auto pay because of this. It’s not a captcha “bot test” because there is nothing to do to prove you’re human, it’s just an error.
App and website have this stupid banner every time you login lately racing about downloading the new app. And make sure to update so you don’t have payment issues. Well, we are still having payment issues guys. You need someone familiar with mobile sites to redo your web and app. Your customers can’t pay their bills!!! This is the ONLY service/bill that I’m unable to use quickly and easily on my phone. Get with the program guys...it’s 2018. Not 1998. This issue with making payments is that once you reach a certain step you aren’t able to scroll down to the buttons to “continue” with the payment steps. In the app I was able to figure out getting 90% of the way. But can’t get to the button to submit the payment due to a terrible design flaw. Same issue on the website and app alike.
Apparently as of the new year we are no longer able to pay by phone after hours and was forced to look up the mobile app to pay my bill on time. The moment I found the app, I saw the terrible reviews, started reading some and thought to myself “nope not worth even trying!” Until I saw one recent review that said the problem was fixed. I wanted to make my payment on time so I decided to give it a try! Glad I did, super easy and paid my bill with no problem! Hope the good reviews start to pile up so more people can use this great tool in bill payment!
I’m not a robot but it won’t believe me recapcha is the problem or however you spell the pain in the rear piece of junk. The website doesn’t work for me either yay !
I’m going to write the same issue as so many here. I tried to pay my bill online via my iphone (because that’s what modern tech-savvy people do these days), and it does not allow you to scroll down to submit the payment after you’ve completed all of the fields. The website says you can pay by app, so I thought, “oh that surely will solve the problem!” Nope! This app is merely a link to the website! How poorly designed is that!? So I’m still not able to pay this one bill, out of all of my bills, online using my phone. READ YOUR REVIEWS AND FIX THE PROBLEM. PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO PAY THEIR BILLS USING MODERN TECHNOLOGY. CATCH UP!
This is frustrating to say the least I’ve been trying to pay my bill online couldn’t get it to work. Called to make payment the darn thing would not accept my account number or phone number. Got redirected to a person but was on hold for over 30mins finally decided to hang up. Found the app and was like oh thank god nope still doesn’t work it said to allowed cookies cookies where already allowed reopened app got to the payment screen and locks up just like the website. I did not have this problem last month.
This app is trash. I’ve been staying in my apartment since October 2021. Downloaded the app in December 2021 and I have been unable to pay via the app this entire time. I always have to call in to pay because this app AND the website have always redirected me to a captcha to verify that I’m not a robot but the only that shows up is the captcha logo and a reload button. It’s impossible and very inconvenient. The only thing it’s good for is checking your bill amount. I’m very disappointed.
The reason the TGS app has such a poor rating is because of how flawed the payment system USED to be. It took much much longer than it should have, but it’s been corrected. Payment of bills is now seamless and the overall app is great.
There are some dense people leaving reviews. Everything works just fine. Nothing complicated. Logged in, paid my bill, and even had my password saved via iOS. Problem isn't the app, it's the people using it.
Finally I was able to pay my bill online!! The reason that I gave three stars is because still needs improvements. I had to press the buttons several times in order to continue. (Hint) do not scroll down or up in the middle, you have to scroll down thru the edges... outside the box. I hope this help!

Not sure why this app, and the online site is not operable. Someone may want to think about finding a more capable App developer. Something is obviously being overlooked. Who in the company needs to take the next step? At one point, the website used to work. I won’t be using it until the app and website are fixed. Thank you!
Great idea, horrible rollout. Trying to complete fields shows curser outside of box, but numbers go in the right place, except when you click into another field and the information is added to the previous or next field. “Continue” and “Submit” buttons are off the bottom of screen on iPhone 7. Cannot do anything with this. Nothing. Zilch. Zero. Useless.
Your app and your website are broken. Unable to make payments on both. I have been attempting to use both for several hours. App crashes and website has error messages ranging from turn on cookies, which has been done and triple checked to unable to access page. App crashes every time I try to pay.
I have several apps that I pay my bills on and this app is the most frustrating ever . I try to go online to pay my bill and it doesn’t let me hit the submit button. I download the app thinking hmm simpler but no.. it’s the same exact thing as the website. So I will be deleting this app as it is useless
Hey Texas Gas, LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS! I have been calling and trying to get help with your website. I can’t pay my bill using your web page. You have told me it’s just me. Apparently you are wrong. I am reading these reviews and I am not alone. Taking a horrible web page and making it an app is no solution. There was no way to complete my payment. Fix it!
I downloaded this app because their website is so bad and hard to use. I thought maybe the app would be better. Wrong!! Worst app I have ever tried to use. Deleted after 30 minutes. I don't know why the technology access with this company is so bad on all ends. So frustrating trying to pay my bill or do anything!!!
I'm not sure what happened to this app. It used to be so easy to pay my bill. Now it's terrible. The pages do not fit my screen at all and I can't scroll. I tried numerous times to enter info only to be unable to hit accept and move to the next screen. Instead I had to call and sit on the automated service. Useless app.
Poor app, does not let you make online payments. It keeps redirecting you to a recatcha and if you call and make a payment over the phone call they charge you extra, so you have to drive to a location to make a payment. A VERY in convenient app. 👎🏽
I only give this app one star cause I can't leave negative stars. The previous version was a pain cause it would not save any information, but this app is terrible. The website is just as bad. It feels as though they are trying to make it impossible to pay your bill. Get it together and hire a professional app company.
This app has Continues to have one issue after another. I login from my iPad and it automatically opens up the billing statement and after clicking done, it returns to the home screen then goes back into the billing statement again, very annoying. This app seriously needs to get fixed!
By far the Worst app I have on my phone. Won’t even let you pay because of the settings they have. Always throws the payment button off the screen. Not sure why it hasn’t been fixed in months. I’m surprised it’s even authorized to be downloaded.
Service rendered is fine. Payment options are garbage. Phone service and phone payment option is the worst I’ve ever encountered and the app still won’t let me log in after four months.
This company evidently has incompetent IT people. Every time I try to pay on the app I cannot scroll down to complete the payment. When I requested assistance, it scheduled me a 30 minute window to call 3 days later. Clearly poor management across the board with this company.
What's the point in having an app to pay online if I can't make a payment?? This thing doesn't let me scroll down and never works I end up having to call in my payments, and that takes forever too...
I got to the very last page to make payment and I could not scroll up or down to click on submit. Had to call and make payment instead. So frustrating.

Cannot pay bill. Complains about cookies...in your app?? Text fields for adding your payment and address information are glitched and unaligned so it’s impossible to enter anything. Absolute crap.
For months I have been trying to pay my bill online. It tends to always freeze or not allow me to continue on. So I started using the pay by phone option because bills have to be paid. Still extremely frustrating. Today it was so bad I even got directed to a real person. Yay! So I thought. Even the lady from the 3rd party billing center couldn't help because she needed more numbers in my account to process a payment but all I have is my account number. CRAZY!! How do you pay your bill when all options are NOT working! So I found the option to download this app. Easy peasy. Absolutely zero frustration. I was able to pay my bill online no problem. Finally. At least one of the multiple options works.
Some features I’d expect from an iOS app are missing. For example, there’s no way to save username and password, nor is there a way to use TouchID or Face ID.
You told me to pay my bill before December 1st and to do it online. I CANT pay my bill!! Something is wrong with your website! Please help me! I don't want to get late charge because of this! Nothing worse than an app that requires entering a username and password every single time I use the app. My phone has security or better yet support Touch ID!
