I REALLY like this app. It’s absolutely great, as a hobbyist, to just be able to search for a model and for it to just be there. But I HATE the redirects. It’s so annoying, to just have 5 billion pages open on safari when I’m looking for just the right model. If there is a way to make every model have a project page with a direct download would be amazing. PLEASE.

I’ve been using this app for almost a year now and there has been a consistent increase in improvements and new features. The recent addition of the Leaderboard is a really slick design, and the notifications make it easy to check out new models from my fave designers. I’m excited to see what the mobile app continues to pump out!
It’s smooth, but no option to download files from the app. If I like something on the app and go to my computer, they aren’t there. It’s 2023, please let us download on mobile. I promise you, we know how to move the files..
I installed the app before applying an engineering job at Physna. Although I didn’t end up working with them, I still enjoy using this app. Very clean and neat!
Great concept, quite a few defects and missing features… - Not everything ends up on screen on my iPhone 12 Pro Max (search clear button for example) - I can like models… but I have no way to see what I liked on mobile? Hopefully a future feature? - There’s no way to zoom in on pictures? - Sometimes the entire news feed is just one duplicated post over and over again - Depending on how large the profile is, you’ll be unable to scroll through all their models
…but what is it for? I can browse the Thangs website with it, and it is 100x faster, smoother, and more performant than the desktop site, but there is no way to download a model?!? What am I supposed to do, once I find a model I want?
No access to your own models unless you follow yourself?
This seems only useful to like and download models. Zero profile/account functionality to access or upload models to your own account profile or make any edits.
The Thangs app is the first place I will go to search to see if a model exists that I can use or work with. I really appreciate the simplicity and ability to search for models via an image. The app syncs seamlessly to my account on Thangs.com and has saved me a tremendous amount of time when I find something on the app and want to find it again on the website.
I would like to use your app, but your functionality doesn’t allow me to login. You have 2 factor authentication which emails me a code. I enter the code and there is no way to submit that code. The submit button is behind the number pad. The number pad does not remove itself after typing in the code, and the page doesn’t scroll. The end result is that I can’t login.
