Serious Game Changer
I was a person who considered exercise to be a four-letter word. I owned a treadmill, and like so many people, I never used it. Then I discovered the Conqueror Challenges! I’ve been using this app for nearly two years now, VERY consistently. This is all the motivation I need to get up in the morning and move my body. I started out walking, then kept finding my pace increasing steadily. Next thing you know, my cardio health had improved so greatly that I couldn’t even raise my heart rate much unless I started running. Now I’m doing a 5k (3.1 miles) or more nearly every morning! The online community is SO supportive and incredible. Everything about the Conqueror experience has exceeded my expectations from the start. I feel like I get to travel and explore the entire world with the street views where my exercise lands me each day. I am so proud of my collection of medals, and those medals are truly impressive in both quality and design. Now I’m nerding out in the Lord of the Rings adventures, and loving every mile. New challenges are added all the time, and the range of distances offers something for everyone. I am so thankful to have found this and started. I highly recommend the Conqueror Challenges to anyone who just needs a little extra motivation to help achieve some awesome goals. I’m about to turn 46, and in the best physical health of my life thanks to the Conqueror.

Goals to take the first steps in changing YOU!
An awesome Virtual Challenge program with rewards that you earn at your own pace. Great platform that offers tracking along the journey and gives great satellite and 360 street views of places around the world. And when you have completed your journey you get a finisher medal to remember your victory! There is also a great social media support group on Facebook with some amazing people from all over the world making their journey to better themselves. This has kick started my old love of running and now in addition to the 4 challenges I have completed in the Conqueror Challenges and the two current ones I am on I have signed up for a series of races the Marine Corps Marathon is sponsoring including the Marine Corps Marathon in October. As a Marine Corps vet that has a couple of bad knees and back from my service this has provided me with an enjoyable challenge to rehab and enjoy running at my own pace for myself. Sometimes it is not about racing against people but the race we must run for ourselves. At the end of the day, I have completed the race and fought the good fight. That begins with yourself! Do it! Challenge yourself and connect with others and support them in their journey! Making a difference begins with YOU!

Great Motivator and Lots of Fun
I love this app! Whether I’m doing a challenge on my own or with my family as a team, I’ve enjoyed the process. The challenges allow me to “see” the world while helping me to stay motivated to be active and do something good for the environment. I freely admit that exercise is not my number one priority and staying active while fighting extreme fatigue through cancer treatment is a struggle but the Conqueror Challenges help me to keep going as I see progress even if it’s just a little. I love the versatility of adding any kind of exercise I may do even if it’s just housecleaning or gardening; it doesn’t have to be some heavy muscle workout or marathon walk/run. The Challenges are beautiful and interesting with the postcards with lots of interesting facts, pictures/videos and city views. They make me want to go see the real thing! And the medals at the end are beautiful, very good quality which makes me want to show them off. My family and I have really enjoyed this app with its no pressure, go at your own pace challenges. I even get a t-shirt for the ones I do by myself. An extra “prize” just for me. Each challenge is totally worth the money and I recommend it to everyone.

Fantastic challenges and great motivation
I found an advisement for this app on a social media site. I was intrigued so I decided to download the ap and give it a try. I cannot express how happy I am with the Conqueror Community. The challenges are fantastic, the medals are well made and just beautiful. I love that they have street views and I am able to see actual places along my journeys. I was not very active for the last few years and the conqueror challenges have given me the motivation I needed to be more active. They allow you to complete the challenges at your own pace and with the activity of your choice. There is a place for everyone here to be active in whichever way you prefer. They release new challenges frequently and the price charged in my opinion is fair. I log my distances via my Apple Watch and have had no problems with this. Oh, they have recently started to make their challenges real destination trips. I plan on attending one in the near future, cost for those I also think is fair. Overall I think this is a great inspiring ap for anyone looking to become more active. I am happy to say I am hooked and look forward to completing all challenges.

Love this App!
I am so grateful that my husband & I have discovered The Conquerer Challenges. I had been struggling to move my body for a very long time but these challenges have motivated me to get out and walk more than I have in a long time. I find myself going for walks, parking at the far end of a parking lot and taking the stairs rather than an elevator just so I can account for the steps or the distance at the end of the day. The quality of the App and the medals is incredible and I love being able to see and read about my virtual location through the app and the “Postcards” that I receive along the way. Plus, knowing that my progress allows trees to be planted somewhere to improve the quality of this earth is an amazing added bonus! Everything about this App and experience is excellent! We have found a beautiful way to display our medals and are very proud of what we have accomplished so far. I am currently working on my 4th challenge and don’t plan to stop anytime soon. Walking has never been so fun AND educational for me. Much gratitude to The Conquerer Challenges for changing my attitude toward and my consistency in walking and helping to move me toward better health.

No Better Way to Challenge Yourself to Better Health!
I can’t ay enough wonderful things about The Conqueror Challenges. I’ve completed three challenges so far and am working on 5 more at the time of this review. If I’m being completely honest, I’m basically lazy. I love nothing more than to spend the weekend on my sofa binge-watching Netflix. The Conqueror Challenges give me a reason to get off the couch and get some much-needed exercise. Even my housework counts as progress! I love getting postcards and learning about the regions in which I “travel”. I also love that I’m planting trees along the way and doing a little something for Mother Earth too. And let’s not forget about the beautifully designed medals! As a graphic artist of 30 years, I am stunned by the craftsmanship and originality of the Conqueror medals. I happily display them and my friends and family love that I get a little “bling” for my efforts. Of course, getting in better shape is the biggest bonus! I’ve lost 75 pounds so far with the help of The Conqueror Challenges and only have 25 more to go! Thanks to everyone at Conqueror for helping me become “half the woman” I used to be and better and healthier than ever! Challenge on!

Really love this app
I love the challenges that are offered & the ability to work towards expanding my stamina. I’m a 70 yr old woman who can’t always get out to a gym (or want to) but to have this and explore the world just a little bit really makes me happy (weight loss doesn’t hurt either 😉). I love the badges I receive after completing each challenge. I have completed 5 challenges (Amalfi coast, Angkor Wat, Torres del Paine, Estrada Real and the West Coast Trail) currently working on #6 The English Channel. But I must say my favorite was the Amalfi Coast! If possible, along with the things I learn along the way via post cards, I also add a bit to the journey ie: foods & art of the region. I’ve cooked different dishes of the country & actually purchased some pottery of the regions! Lol As if I were a true tourist & buying souvenirs! Silly maybe, but it adds to the experience! I just wish I could get badges for the places I’ve been to in real life!! 😂 But it’s great & I really recommend the app. I’m now starting at the lowest miles & plan to work my way up to the really big ones! I do recommend starting with a short distance & going up from there so as NOT to lose interest, & make it fun!!!!

It might just be what makes you want to run
There are countless apps out there that track various statistics associated with running or other forms of exercise. What most if not all of them are missing is something to make the journey enjoyable. Those of us fortunate enough to live near a great trail, pathway, or park know the benefit of having somewhere interesting to go when exercising. Others are limited to a treadmill, a rooftop, or their suburban neighborhood - fun, but not fun the 2,000th time. Conqueror provides a bit of that feeling of new and interesting. As you log miles, you virtually travel real-world distances along virtual routes through and over world renowned locations, historic sites, or wonders of the natural world. You’ll get updates along the way and a really pretty medal to commemorate your work. They look great on the wall and lead to conversation about your runs - great for finding a running buddy. Speaking of running buddies, Conqueror allows teams to join and track each other’s progress along the virtual journey. Great team builder in an office or club. I got into it when my office did the entire Lord of the Rings pack. Super fun!

Love the Conqueror Challenges
My first experience with virtual challenges was their Lord of the Rings Virtual Challenge and now I’m in the Return of the King Virtual Challenge series. The beauty, workmanship, and attention to detail on their medals is truly impressive! I loved being able to form a fellowship reinforcing the value of friendship and working together like in the books and movies. It was easy to sync my Fitbit to their app to automatically record the miles I walked every day. I loved their environmental action of planting a tree or stopping 10 plastic bottles from entering the ocean for every 20% of each challenge completed. I enjoyed the stories and postcards along the journey that were based on the LOTR films. I can’t say enough about their exceptional support if needed. The 2 times I needed their help (when I was learning how to access certain info on their app and also form a fellowship), they responded within 10 minutes with the answers. I was so impressed! The Conqueror Community is also very positive and supportive. It was such a motivating and positive experience for me as you can see since I’ve signed up for more!

Great way to have fun getting active
I found the Lord of the Rings challenges and being a nerd who needed to get in shape bought the pack to start trekking the ring on my peloton to Mordor. The app experience follows the movies with postcards and clips from the movie as you take the journey with Frodo and team. I started with the walking portion and quickly shifted to the biking mileage for the journey. I know some people are skeptical of the virtual journey for medals, but I have put in over 1600 miles in 2022 and earned four medals and am taking the last journey to dump the ring over the next four weeks. My wife got intrigued and has started doing them and we are planning to customize a 2023 team challenge. The app will track the miles you ride, walk, swim, whatever through the phone health app, which is synced to my watch. Doesn’t get any easier to track miles and have a little fun getting healthier and losing weight. I’m down about 12 pounds over the year and feel much healthier as a result. Thanks to the Conqueror team for putting this together and making tracking exercise fun and interactive.

Validates Motherhood
I love racing, especially marathons, and missed it during the pandemic. But I had a baby so racing isn’t going to happen again soon anyway. But the app, unlike anyone else in my life, actually notices and cares when I’m putting in the miles. Despite physical exhaustion, lack of sleep, a torrent of preschool colds and the lurking doom of the end of maternity leave (which I’m very grateful for don’t get me wrong!), I still get out there with a baby strapped to my chest and put in those miles. And the app notices. And gives me a medal for it. And that is hugely valuable, amidst diapers and spit up and hours spent on the phone with health insurance companies and everyone forgetting you do anything other than produce milk. Gold star! Great mom, getting outdoors and moving! Have a medal! I appreciate it more than I anticipated. I’m on the final journey of the hobbits to Mordor, having schlepped my way across the whole of Middle Earth, and the story updates and map matching—especially if you opt for the whole mileage of the books; the Eye of Sauron leg alone is 668 miles—is really well done, for this tired LOTR fan mom.

Great app, great challenges
This app is pretty easy to use and has definitely improved with recent updates. If you haven’t heard of The Conqueror Challenges, they are pre-made exercise challenges that you can sign up for and complete on your own time. Once finished they send you a cool medal. This app helps you organize all your challenges and follow your progress with each challenge. Main page lists which challenges you are currently doing and below that are all the other challenges you could sign up for. I like perusing through those to find what I might do next. In previous versions of this app I had a lot of trouble with auto-upload of my run data via Apple Health but the devs have fixed that and now I don’t have to manually input data anymore. I also like that you can choose to upload total end of day step count (in mileage) vs just upload workout data. With this newest update I don’t really have any complaints on using the app, it’s been great! And I love the challenges, LOTR challenge has been awesome so far so nice job to the company for getting that on board!

The daily motivation I needed
I was bemoaning how sedentary my life had become when I saw an ad for The Conqueror and discovered they had a virtual challenge for the St. Francis Way. As a pastor surviving the pandemic and an ugly election cycle, my soul needed an uplift—so I decided to take the challenge and walk the pilgrimage in my own neighborhood. I looked forward to exploring the interactive map at the end of the day to see where I would be in Italy and that became my daily motivation to keep moving. More walking meant I was drinking more water, and because I was feeling healthier, I was making healthier eating choices. I wound up losing 20 pounds, for the first time in several years my doctor congratulated me on getting my cholesterol, sugar, and blood pressure under control rather than giving me the warning lecture. I only intended to walk the one challenge, but found it so motivating that I have continued. I have now completed 5 challenges and am on my 6th. This app has become as important to my fitness journey as my gym membership and has really become my primary motivation.

Motivation for a disabled woman in her 50’s
A friend told me about these challenges. I decided to try one challenge to see if it was something I could do. I chose Marathon to Athens in honor of my daughter who runs marathons. I was amazed at how I could virtually visit so many beautiful places around the world without actually traveling. I just finished my 5th challenge and absolutely love it! I am disabled. I walk slow. Every night when I get in bed I can’t wait to log my distance for the day and explore the area I’ve reached. This has been the first thing that has kept me motivated because I can do it at my own pace. It’s not intimidating! I highly recommend giving it a try! I have already bought 7 more challenges for this year! I can’t wait for the adventures ahead! Thank you for creating an app that allows people with different strengths & weaknesses to challenge themselves! Thank you for letting me see so many places around the world that I would never get the chance to visit. I recommend it to many of my friends and family.

Great App and Virtual Race Selection
I found this app from an ad and clicked on it because it seemed interesting. I liked that I could walk to help the planet, since a tree is planted after you reach certain milestones along your race route. I was so impressed with the app and I’m not sure what I was expecting but I was so surprised. I tried 1 race to begin with and I absolutely loved the postcards and history of the points of interest along the route. I scrolled through the virtual 360 views to see what the terrain actually looks like. I used my Apple Watch to automatically upload my distances. I will say there was a delay when I first joined a year ago but since then I have not noticed much of a lag time between my watch and the app. This has definitely improved. I love the app and challenges so much I got a coworker to download the app and race a couple different challenges also. I have completed a total of 5 challenges and just started my 6th! Thank you for continuing to add interesting challenges and for your dedication to helping the planet!

It’s so cool to visit these places and walk a path virtually
Look, I don’t typically write reviews. This app has helped encourage my exercise habits over the past few years. I’m able to upload common exercises like walking, running, biking, swimming etc thanks to a conversion table to equate it to their miles/kilometers. Because swimming a mile is only a mile per distance but generates more cardio than walking that same mile. This also means I can do my momentum flow/fire spinning and figure out an appropriate distance for the time I spend doing that. The community is wonderful and inclusive, there’s groups for all kinds of personal situations and if you don’t find one that works for you - you can start one. I’ve done a few challenges so far and intend to do more. As a bit of a history/lore nerd I just recently started the Lord of the Rings challenges and look forward to their completion. Bit of a tip, don’t shoot for the longest distance ones straight away unless you already get a ton of mileage on a regular basis

Five Finished, Just Started #6
When our gym closed during Covid, I did my first Conqueror challenge. I started out with an easy one, 90 miles of Hadrian’s Wall, just walking each day around the neighborhood. Surprisingly, I finished it in only three weeks and knew I wanted more of a challenge, so I did the Camino DeSantiago, then the north coast of Scotland, then the Pacific crest Trail which was definitely the longest, and I just finished walking the length of the UK. I wear an Apple Watch which records my steps or miles of bike riding every day, and I input that information into the app on my phone each night. My medals are proudly displayed in our house, and I think these challenges are extremely motivating. I’m going to be walking or biking every day anyway, so why not reach for a big goal like this? I also really like the idea that trees are planted or plastic is taken from the ocean, and I would recommend Conqueror to anyone — in fact I have done that already many times. And by the way, I am in my 70s. Anyone can do this, because you go at your own pace. Thanks, Conqueror, for developing this program!!

Please fix the UI
There is so much I love about this app, and so much I hate. Mostly it’s the UI when doing team races. The user interface is just confusing. There needs to be a Home icon at the bottom that takes you back to the home page (map) of the current challenge you are in. The notifications link should show your activity and your friends because there is no easy way to see your friends’ runs. When you flick up on the bottom of the screen where it shows total distance percentage and a button that says view journey, under the view journey section it needs to show the name of the person that ran that mileage right on the activity card instead of having to click into it. It would be better if right on the screen you flick up (from the map) if it showed everyone on your team and how many miles they have contributed to the total. This is a team app but also competitive. There is no way to easily see what anyone is doing. Making this view optional would be better for those who don’t want to see the competitive aspect. Anyways, a lot needs to be rethought on this and I would seriously consider doing more user testing.

The concept is a solid one, but Apple Health integration needs work
it’s been said multiple times that this app and concepts are a great idea. it motivates you to do something that you might not normally do during the course of your daily life like climb mount Fuji or scale Everest. so I do love the concept. The problem is with integration on the Apple iPhone and Apple health. no matter how many steps I take during a walking session the counter only appears to account .1 miles of steps. i’ve seen other reviewer‘s post this but when you read the details it says that it accumulates and posts Apple health information approximately every six hours. so far I do not find that to be the case and there’s a complete mismatch between the amount of walking that I do during the day and the amount of distance posted to the app. now there is a fix for you to do this manually and you can post your distance but you would like to have some evidence on the app that those steps were actually walked for miles run or miles cycled. I will continue to use the app and should my review change I will update accordingly. I look forward to future updates.

At Last! An Exercise Program That Works For Me!
My daughter found the Conqueror Challenges app and signed me up at the beginning of 2023. Since then, I have completed 5 challenges. I LOVE these adventures! I began doing these treks as a way to stay active and regain my stamina after a battle with cancer. I have learned so much about the places that I visit on my virtuaI tours, and the medals have proven to be a great motivator to me! I am excited to be starting my 6th challenge! I proudly display my beautiful medals where I can enjoy them and my accomplishments. 😊 I love the flexibility of the exercise options that I can choose to complete each goal. I also like being able to set my own pace. I love being able to regularly enter my progress on the app, which keeps me accountable every day! I’ve told several friends about this app, and have enjoyed seeing them join and begin their own virtual adventures! Keep up the great work Conqueror designers, and fellow virtual travelers! 👍

These people removed my review.
So afraid of facing what they are doing. They are putting moral judgement on those who take longer to finish their challenges and don’t meet their arbitrary time line. They just changed it to two years and if you don’t complete it in that time they won’t give you what you paid for. This seems like a long time but if you count that at least one medal requires 4.5mikes a day minimum - if you can’t ride a bike, have a disability, get injuries - they are going to steal your medal you paid for because you don’t meet their idea of what someone who actually cares about their health is. It’s a moral judgement on who you are because the founder thinks it’s his job to tell people how to be active. They acted like they were doing something - got an email from Apple that the developer replies - they just said customer service was there to contact - this is a lie. I started there and have been completely ghosted or told that well we can evaluate circumstances and maybe make an exception. So you will have to explain medical situations to some random customer service person and just hope that they don’t steal from you. I tried finding my review again this morning. It’s not there. This is sneaky and low.

Incredibly difficult to use
For $32 - the cheapest plan, your left standing with your head spinning wondering how the heck does this thing work. Instructions are no help, customer service is nothing but cut and paste responses, not engaging with the customer in any kind of real discussion. Remember you paid $32! And you get this kind of service. Their system seems to be new and not very compatible with Apple products. Good idea but poorly implemented and certainly not designed by a team that understands modern app design. For anybody over 40 years old you were going to be banging your head against the wall. One additional note, this team of jokers hasn't even put together a general overview video for their product! So you better be able to phrase your question in the same wording that they have in there help menu of commonly ask questions. Otherwise you're not going to find an answer. And you will spend the better part of an afternoon digging through all of their useless information trying to get some kind of ballpark answer to your question. I just wish I could get my money back on this app and Warren as many other people to not fall victim to this poorly designed and poorly represented App!

I would give full recommendation
The Conqueror team is fully committed. They travel to areas that are in the challenges. They communicate with the group in social media. They communicate with challengers one-on-one to help with questions. The medals are so lovely and real weighted items. When they arrive in the mail after completing a challenge, it makes you feel every bit of the accomplishment you earned! The challenges offered are different levels, the time to accomplish is adjustable if life interferes with completing on time. The history of international regions and trails during the challenge makes it a unique experience. Best of all is the emotional support and comradery within the community of challengers. People from all over, every walk of life offering empathy and support as you accomplish your goals at your pace and level of fitness. The cost is not overwhelming but what is gained far outweighs the cost. Thank you to The Conqueror team and the family and friend challengers 🫶

Really motivational
Yeah i think this series really made me be able to do a bunch more stuff. Before the conqueror challenges I didn't really have to move or go out inside or do anything healthy at all. But then when i started these i really wanted to get my medals. So i walked every day for 2 miles a day and eventually i got my medals and got a habit going till eventually i could hike some of the bigger mountings in the national park. I live in Colorado were rocky mountain national park is a major hiking attraction and being able to hike the bigger mountains is really awesome for me and I wouldn’t have been able to achieve this without the motivation of the conqueror challenges. So right now i am this app helps me get outside and helps me achieve some of my goals. And right now I am doing the Rocky Mountain National Park challenge so i get to get a cool medal for my own home. Anyway the conqueror challenges is a massively good way to motivate someone to get fit and to achieve their goals.

Excellent virtual race option
This is the best virtual race option that I’ve come across (I say ‘race,’ but it doesn’t have to be. You can just have fun and challenge yourself at whatever level or time frame you choose. Really easy to adjust your time to completion.) Firstly, the medals are beautiful. There are cool race bibs you receive digitally and can print out, also. Okay, now for the additional cool stuff- the app is awesome! It charts where you are on your journey, and you can access your postcards that you get as you go. Also, you choose what your check point goals are- planting a tree or keeping bottles out of the ocean- and you can easily see how close you are to the check points. The Facebook community is so great- it’s huge and so supportive! There are all kinds of Conquerors there, some write creative stories of their adventures, some dress up, some share stories of triumph or challenge. It’s great value for your money! I highly recommend!

Pretty good app
Easy to use and set up with nice features. I especially like the integrated Google streetview. Wish there were more fun rewards in some of the walks. Another wish item would be a display for Apple Watch. I’d like to be able to get simple progress info on my watch, perhaps an option to show daily steps as well as distance. Nice concept and implementation over all though. It does make me think about walking more often and encourages me to get up and do more things more often because I know it will move my marker along the trail. This is my 3rd challenge. I did the Amalfi Coast and West Coast Trail together as my initial trial to keep me interested because O knew my progress would be slow. The Scooby Do challenge (which I am doing now) has some new fun things in it that I am enjoying. More things to “explore” as I go definitely helps to keep me interested. I really like seeing beautiful landscapes and impressive spots of interest tied to my walk. Very nice. Thanks for the app !

The next best thing to being there
The challenges are fun (I’ve completed 5 and have just started another). I especially like seeing the google street view of where I am on the journey, and reading the vacation postcards I send to myself! The enhanced street view feature on the app has improved greatly since I did my first challenge a year+ ago. (One caveat: as Germany hasn’t allowed Google to do street views, it’s not available on the Romantic Road journey, which was disappointing. However, there are a ton of extra postcards on that journey to make up for it.) Regarding postcards, I’d appreciate the option of enlarging the accompanying text that tells about the location, since it’s rather annoyingly small on my phone. Re: medals - When I did my first journey, I didn’t think getting a medal for a virtual event was a big deal, but now I look forward to them. They are beautiful and very well made and each one is unique! I really feel like I’ve been around the world! Keep up the good work!!

Can Exercise Really Be This Fun!?
After an accident, I stopped exercising. I could not find anything to hold my interest or motivate me to move; that is until I discovered The Conqueror Challenges App. The advertisement for LOTR caught my attention and downloading the app kept it. The app is incredibly easy to navigate. There are just the right amount of buttons to get you where you want to go simply and fast. You can even go directly to the Conqueror Community of over 210k members with one click! The community is the most supportive, motivating group of individuals you would want to meet. You can connect most watches and devices that measure distances to the app or you can enter your distances manually. There are maps, postcards, movie snippets to keep you motivated on your journey. Oh and medals!! The medals are spectacular. If you have been on the fence about joining a challenge, I hope this inspires you to try The Conqueror Challenges. I am glad I did.

Love the app but apple watch integration is spotty
So I do a run/walk/cycle every day but almost daily the distance isn't available in the app to post to my challenge. It seems like I have to post it manually more often than not. My iPhone and apple watch are both connected and configured correctly but the distance that shows in the app under the 'post a distance' tab is usually plain wrong. Today for instance I did a two mile run, yet the distance is only showing as 0.1 miles in the Conqueror app, meaning I have to enter this manually again. This app would be great if it would reliably show distances covered. Also, I have referred three people but only one is registering in the app. I watched as the second person registered a challenge using my link. This was a week ago and it still doesn't show in my app. Edit: I'm not asking for a refund because despite all the minor issues, I want my medals and I need the motivation to get out! Overall, the app and experience is great, the niggles are annoying but not deal-breaking.

Virtual Challenges
A bucket list item has always been the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage. Up pops the Conquerer Events and the ability to do Virtual Challenges. What a perfect way to spend the pandemic by completing virtual challenges. The Camino de Santiago has been completed (480.9 miles) the Great Ocean Road Race (149 miles) has been completed, and the Ring of Kerry (120 miles) is 14 miles from completion. Also signed up for Mt Everest (40 miles) Mt Fuji (46 miles) and Mt Kilimanjaro (60 miles) trifecta next. The Conquerer app is awesome to keep track of your challenges. It is intuitive, provides postcards whereby you learn a little history about places along the way, and I have to say right here and now, the tree planting for every 20% of challenge completed is a wonderful bonus. Help the environment while helping yourself stay healthy. You can join communities of walkers, runners, cyclists, etc., or you can remain in solitude if that is your thing. I have referred other friends to the Conquerer Events app and challenges and they have enjoyed as well. I will continue to do the Conquerer Virtual Challenges as we continue through the pandemic. It is my sincere desire that these will continue long after COVID as these are motivational, inspiring and keep me accountable. My Apple Watch tells me I have hit my exercise and move goals for 127 straight days, mostly by running. Well done Conquerer! Keep up the good work. Go hard, or go home! Michael Shaver

Love these challenges
I came across the Conqueror Challenge by accident. I was on Facebook and saw an advertisement. I was a little skeptical at first but since having my son, I’ve been a little lazy to say the least and my physical activity took a huge hit. What could I lose by starting a fitness challenge? The challenges are amazing and have me more active than I’ve ever been in my life. I’m always trying to reach the next milestone. The app is super easy to use. It connects with my Apple Watch so my mileage is automatically added to the challenge totals. Also, the street views are amazing. Being able to see the pyramids in Giza or the scenery in Hawaii is an added bonus to the program! I highly recommend to anyone. Be warned: these challenges are extremely addictive. I started my first challenge in late August 2021. As of October 27, 2021, I’ve completed 5 challenges and I’m now working on challenge #6. I’ve also lost 10 lbs and counting.

Healthy walks, Beautiful Medals
My daughter turned me on to the Conqueror Challenges. I used to go on Volksmarches, when I was stationed in Germany back in the 70’s. They were usually 30km, but I did do one that was 50km. These were done in one day. When we finished they gave us a certificate and a medal. Although when I did the 50km one, they gave us an arm patch. The medals they give for these walks are very, very nice. I have completed 7 challenges since June. I want to complete everyone of the challenges. I just hope they keep all of them so I can complete them. I have also enjoyed that they introduced two new challenges since June. I hope to see many more. As soon as I complete 5 more challenges I will buy a shadow box to display them. I just started the LOTR CHALLENGES, and I can’t wait to start getting the medals. I will get a Shadow Box just to display the LOTR CHALLENGES. I say bring them on, and I will enjoy my walking and medals.

Makes life goals fun!
In August 2022, I started my journey to be healthier. Although I was doing pretty good on my own, it wasn’t until I started my first virtual challenge that my game amped up. In fact a friend turned me on to Conqueror and at the same time I encouraged my husband to join as well. I thought it would be a one time event, but my husband and I have had so much fun with our friendly competitions, that we’ve kept at it. 4 medals later, and 30 pounds of weight loss to go with them, we continue to look forward to the each new medal offering and the virtual journey that accompanies each. I love that the app doesn’t have adds and wish that the medals could be shipped at my request so I can have them on the day the challenges are completed, but clearly it hasn’t been a dealbreaker. On one occasion, my medal arrived damaged and Conquer expeditiously sent me a replacement. Keep up the great work Conqueror team!

Challenge App…
Great on iPhone. On iPad - not so much! If you use your iPad in rotated mode - landscape vs portrait, as with the attached keyboard - the App view stays rotated 90° CCW. Guys, you really need to fix that! Other than that, it seems to work just fine. Update: Jan 2022. A couple other things I would add is that when I first tried linking my tracking from iPhone to this App, I found it wasn’t allowing me (or perhaps I just missed something) to specify that my miles being logged were from my Peloton (stationary/Indoor) bike. (Miles were being recorded as OUTDOOR Bicycle!) When I went back to try to fix this situation, I must have messed up something else. Because I have never been able to get it to work right since. Thus, I MANUALLY add my ride miles every time. And I have not yet figured out how to break that device linkage to completely set it again (as if for the very first time). Each time I went into the App to try to fix this, the Apple Health linkage just popped back into place with no apparent/obvious ability to edit the settings.

Perfect for me
I was just walking the neighborhood now and then. I wasn’t really motivated and needed to find something that caught my interest. I found the Conqueror challenges and thought I would try it. I gave one to my sister too so we could do it together. We started with the Amalfi coast. The apps street views are beautiful. I love seeing where I’ve gone that day. Now we are doing the Inca trail. I have a friend who has really walked it and it’s now something we can talk about. My nephew was in Cairo years ago so naturally the Giza pyramids are next. I love this app!! Never before would I think it would have been possible for me to walk all these miles and actually be excited to get out there and do it. Plus the medals are awesome. My sister said what are we going to do with all these medals. I told her it was the first one I’ve ever received in my life and I’m putting mine on my mantel. ❤️ (I’m 70 years old)

Such a cool app
I love the maps and how you can change whether or not you see everyone else or just yourself. The medals are absolutely beautiful and the group is stellar! I love the challenges and the motivation. The only thing I’ve found so far with the app is it syncs once a day unless you log your distance manually after popping into Apple Health unless you log manually, which I started doing so I could see where I was on the map after my walk. I kind of wish it would post directly after you log exercise but once I figured it out, it’s really not a big deal. I’m nearly done with my 2nd challenge and use the app daily to check my status. It looks good and you can check out the other challenges from within the app too. On challenges with street view available you can move the little man anywhere to see your surroundings. It’s pretty stinkin’ cool!

It works, but…
This app overall seems to work well. It can be a bit finicky having your logged miles get recognized. I use my Apple Watch, but after two tries it does upload. It would help to know when you setup two or more tracking options, that this doubles the miles you actually walked or ran or…. Joining challenges from within the app doesn’t work for me, frustrating. It consistently goes to a white screen and the app freezes. I appreciate their focus on selling challenges, but as an end user I would appreciate easier access to my team’s achievement. It would also be nice to see what team members contribute, vs. just their total. Overall, the challenges are a great concept, and the medals are a nice incentive. Price can become a point of concern to keep doing them. Discounts offered are not that effective. I appreciate the development expenses, but other membership options might be something to consider.

Great App and Virtual Challenges
My husband and I are probably older users of this App and I just have to say how much we have enjoyed all of the features and ease of The Conqueror App. We are doing our 6th challenge and have really loved all the parts of the challenges. This App has got us walking and virtually traveling to so many amazing places. Some we have even been to in real life (Mt. Fuji, St,. Francis Way and The road to Hana) before the past 2 years have curtailed our actual travel. We have enjoyed reliving our trips virtually and finding new places to learn and dream about. The map feature, the postcards with so much information about the sites, the trees that are planted after sections of the challenges, and the amazing medals that are awarded at the end of each challenge keep us interested and engaged. We look forward to more Conqueror challenges! Thank you for such a great App and product.

Enjoying the Conqueror Virtual Challenge app!
I am new to doing exercising through a virtual app, and I am enjoying the Conqueror Virtual Challenge app. very much. I realize that there are many different ways to track exercise progress from different devices with this app, but I am not a high tech person. I have the app on my phone and add my results of my exercises manually to my challenges without difficulty. I have completed 5 challenges in the past month and a half, and am almost done with my 6th one. I enjoy all the features of this app and love being able to see what the actual landscape looks like as I travel on my journeys. The app is easy to navigate and has many other features. Added to this is the responsiveness of the staff that immediately sends out notifications and emails regarding what I have accomplished on my journeys, and mails out the medals earned in a very timely manner. Congratulations on developing a great app!

Best Challenges out there!
I started these challenges in hopes of motivating myself to start running and hiking instead of just walking for exercise. I wasn’t sure if I’d like it but i gave it a try. Here i am on my 6th challenge and also have my mom roped into doing them! Hiking and running more than i thought and collecting amazing quality medals! Each medal is gorgeous and perfectly designed to show off the challenge you completed. The app is great because you can see a google street view on most of the challenges and they plant real life trees (or clean up plastic bottles) for each 20% of the challenge you complete so not only are you helping your health you’re also helping the planet! There is a wonderful, motivating Facebook community as well that you have the option to join. It’s a fun way to challenge yourself no matter what level of active you are!

After a Few Days, All Up & Running
Latest Review: Beautiful app. You can view yourself and all others’ progress in the races, or join a special group. Being able to assign special start dates to do a digital versus race with random people would be fun. User interface is a little challenging in that some items that I wish would click for editing do not do anything. And it’s finally logging from Fitbit. Could have been a low battery, despite the watch still logging to the Fitbit app, but I won’t know for sure. Secondary Review: Previously, I couldn’t get past the login screen, but that might have been because everyone was downloading it for the first time and crashing the servers. A big sale for races had just opened up. Anyway, I’m finally past that and the app is very beautiful, however, my Fitbit steps and activities don’t appear to be automatically logging. I have to manually log, which is a bummer when I have all the settings set to do exactly what is listed. It is possible that my Fitbit’s battery was too low and turned off some features. Currently troubleshooting. But if it’s not that, I hope this gets fixed in an update. Original Review: I wish I could get past the login screen. I just signed up for these virtual races and am pretty excited. Restarted phone and app. Every time I try to log in or even attempt to register, I get dumped out of the app. Using the old MyVirtualMissions app for now, I guess.

I love this app!
I am not athletic at all. In fact I am a senior, a retired librarian who would rather read than just about anything else. But I enjoy the Conqueror’s Challenges so much, I just signed up for my 6th! And I got my sister to join, too! The variety of challenges keeps things interesting. The frequent addition of new challenge routes keeps me from getting bored. The medals are truly gorgeous and the Facebook group is the most positive and encouraging group I have ever been a part of. The customer support has been nothing but stellar. I have contacted the support folks a couple of times (both times minor issues that were actually due to my own lack of attention) and received a response in short order. I have read from other members reports of the support folks’ prompt and efficient responses. All positive experiences with Conqueror’s Challenge and the people behind it.

Fantastic!!
First of all, the Conqueror Challenges are just plain awesome!! They are such good motivation to keep one active. I have thoroughly enjoyed the app while doing my challenges. The app links easily with various exercising apps and trackers making reporting miles a breeze. If I have to enter manually, it is simple to find the post a distance and which exercise I completed to gain the miles. It is fun to follow my challenge with “Peg Man” and the postcards and achievements that arrive through the app. All challenges remain permanently once completed and are easy to toggle back and forth through. It’s possible to be completing more than one challenge at a time and the app is easy to work with in going between challenges. My only recommendation would be to have a place in the app where codes for future challenges can be stored! This app is fantastic and I highly recommend it!!

Motivation to Move
I am so happy I clicked on Conqueror in an Instagram advertisement. I was just starting to get active and the Conqueror keeps me motivated. I love the street view. It’s neat to see places that I’ve never been and feel like I’m there. The postcards are awesome because they give interesting information. I have finished five adventures and just started my sixth. I completed Pacific Coast Trail with a team, and I thought that feature was great because I wouldn’t likely try a long one otherwise. It would be nice to be able to communicate with your team within the app. It wouldn’t surprise me if that would happen one day because the developers are always adding new adventures and improving the app. As a last comment I want to say the medals come really fast in the mail. They’re beautiful and well made. It’s really cool to have a record of my adventures hanging on my wall.

Most Amazing Way to Exercise !!!
Conqueror Virtual Challenges are OUTSTANDING!! I love the encouragement that you receive while completing each challenge. I joined Conqueror Virtual Challenges in September of 2023. And since then I have completed 4 challenges. And I am currently working on two more right now. The conqueror app is so easy to use. I love when you receive and award such as unlocking postcards. It is so much fun to read the postcards, and to send them to my friends to read as well. Additionally, the medals that you receive upon completion of each challenge are AMAZING & GORGEOUS!! They are high quality medals and are wonderful to display. I enjoy printing out my completion certificates and virtual racing bids. When the medals arrive I feel very proud of my accomplishments. Thank you conqueror for helping to make each of my virtual challenges so amazing and helping other dreams to come true!!!

Apple Watch/Health only downside, so many positives!
The app is beautiful and I love seeing my progress on the Challenges. I’m currently on my second one, with more planned. The FaceBook group is an exceptional community of support and encouragement. And they plant trees to celebrate your milestones!!! Which is just a lovely added bonus! The one downside is the connectivity with the Apple apps. The app updated with my steps without a problem for the first couple of weeks, and I liked that I could push an update. But if I did a “workout” on the Apple Watch, that did not push through to the Conqueror app. I’ve since just disconnected both Apple Watch and Health apps and do a manual post of my daily steps each night. I get the satisfaction of seeing my distances accrue without the frustration of “when will it post? Why isn’t it posting?” I highly recommend the Conqueror Challenges as a way to motivate and encourage oneself in one’s fitness and health goals.

Highly Motivational!
I was bored with my daily three mile walk and needed something to keep me going. When I came across this app back in August, I thought, “I love to travel, learn and see lots of places, at least it will give me some entertainment. Since the Olympics were going on, I started with Mt. Fuji, which made watching the Olympics even more fun, learning about and seeing street views in and around the area. Then I started teaching my British Literature class about the Anglo-Saxons, so I chose Hadrian’s Wall and the Ring of Kerry. Next was Macbeth so I was off to the North Scotland 500 and so it goes. In the process I bought an indoor cycle and ramped up my workout to 10 miles a day. Whoo Hoo! Now I am ready for my longest trek yet Ring Road Iceland 828 Miles. There is a distance and geographic location for everyone, and the Facebook group is the most encouraging community you can imagine!

Talk about motivation!
I’ve earned four medals now, and I’m addicted! Now I have spread my enthusiasm to my sister, nephew, and husband as we work on the Lord of the Rings challenge together. The app is easy to use. I tried syncing it to my Apple Watch, but I find I like manually entering my distances better. All of my biking miles get entered for the LOTR challenge. I enter my daily steps count in another challenge. Right now I’m on the Road to Hana. I love adding photos and comments to each day’s entry. Some of my future goals include aqua-jogging for the English Channel challenge, walking up and down the hilly streets of my community for the Mt. Fuji, Mt. Everest, and Mt. Kilimanjaro challenges, and biking for the Route 66 challenge. And I should mention I’m a 60-something grandmother with a marshmallow body…I’ve never been an athlete. This app is on the front page of my phone and my iPad. It’s a life-changer.

Great app, so much fun!
I love the Conqueror challenges and the app is the easiest way to track my progress. While some opt to connect their devices, I manually add my distances after hiking or exercising so that my challenges reflect my workouts, rather than the steps that I routinely take throughout the day. The app is easy to navigate and so enjoyable to use. I love looking at the images that appear along my routes and reading the post cards that contain interesting information about each trek. Entering my mileage is simple and when I complete a challenge, the app prompts me to confirm my information right away to ensure that I quickly receive my medal. I’ve never experienced any issues with the app but I had a question about tracking when I first started so I emailed the company and received an answer within hours. Great app, excellent service, so much fun.

Love the challenges, love the rewards, love the app!
I haven’t had any issues, that I’ve seen, for this app. It is directly fed from my iPhone which is directly fed from my Apple Watch. I lose steps because I forget and let my watch die but I’m not super worried about that because while this is for health, for self competition .. this is also for fun and motivation. I do only one challenge at a time as I build my health back up. In 2020 I got long haul COVID and my step average for the year was 200. :( it was a very bad year. When I started feeling better I got myself a dog and happened to see the CC advertisement on Facebook in 2021. I was so excited for something to work towards as I got better. By mid 2021 my step average was at least 3000. I started gaining strength, and confidence, since then and part of it is due to my success with CC. Thanks!
