TIDY for Pros

I was vetted to the gods and back when creating my account—equipment verification, background check, SSN, driver’s license, and more—but clients without even a photo of their face or a last name can book me and expect me to drive out to their house? NO!!! Maybe if Tidy made it clear that customers were also vetted, but I have no idea if that’s the case. They really expect you to drive halfway across the state and clean for 2.5hr in a stranger’s house for less than $60???? At least I’d have a better chance of not being serial killed working for minimum wage at a company. Christ. To Tidy: if customers *are* vetted in any similar capacity to cleaners, please make that clear. Show photos of the house—if I have to upload equipment photos, they should have to upload house photos. Show a picture of the customer so I can make sure it’s actually them when I show up. Giving me basically zero info is a recipe for disaster. Back to Facebook groups and word-of-mouth for me, I guess.

I worked with TIDY for over a Year untill they supposedly fired me for being unreliable, but says I can reapply after 15 days but it keeps saying the same thing over a month .They ignore all my messages. So now I’m spilling the Tea 1 .Overprice for costumers and less pay for cleaner 2. Customer pays 200$ for a 4 hour cleaning and you get payed 90$ . 3 . 1 hour cleaning you’ll pay you 30$ for you to drive far and clean a house 4 . They threaten you 500$- just because if you try steal there clients like go off there app lol but you don’t gotta tell them. 5 . You loose 150$ if you get unreliable and mostly likely fired but they won’t tell you that they’ll say something else but at the end they won’t reply 6 . With TIDY Customers have the right to complain if you don’t stay the whole 4 hours if they want to and you’ll get half of that 90$ pay if you left 10 minutes early or 5 don’t matter you’ll get Half of that 90$ for the time you where there . 7 . If Costomer complain in any way you’ll mostly likely loose the fight unless you where there for the whole 4 hours then your fine , but other cases you’ll loose and they’ll charge you and addition 40$ for dealing with you , 8 . Better off working somewhere else unless you want to work extra, but stealing there clients and working with out the app and don’t tell him and keep the 200$ for your self for the 4 hour jobs just don’t mention it in the messages in there app

You would’ve thought the app came out in 2014. Just started using the app and cleanings caught on faster then attended; however, they do pick and choose when they want to deal with issues. The app has many glitches and whenever I try to change my bookable hours, it glitches. I ended up getting a cleaning when I wanted to cancel and was charged $20 to cancel! Every time you cancel it charges you so be sure of your hours. They also only respond through email, which is a hassle if you have a quick need. It doesn’t tell you any information about the cleaning until you get there. I recently had an issue where a cleaner did no show up and they booked for two of us to come. Out of politeness and need for the client I stayed for a 2.5 hour clean instead of one. They were able to compensate me for it; however, I just had a client ask for me to stay until everything was cleaned which only was an extra 45 minutes for a booked one hour clean. They claimed that they weren’t able to change it even though they just did. Now no response from the client. And usually they pay I advance but the app has no clear indication to tell!

This is the worst app and business I’ve signed up honestly - it seems like they set you up for definite failure - they don’t explain clearly since the beginning on all the fees they charge the pros or how the app works .. as a first time cleaner I put my availability but didn’t expect to be charged a ridiculous fee for not being able to take the job that your automatically booked for (I only cancelled because I got sick those days ) you can’t view the size home or tasks you’re expected to do until about an hour before the booking starts and on top of that the app starts glitching when you’re suppose to clock in or out and you have to go thru the hassle of deleting and re- downloading … when you submit a message they’re responses are very generic and you can’t get ahold of a real person it seems because they only reply thru email and then the emails are a no-reply email so you can’t go further into detail and never find a solution - I never got paid for the cleaning that I did for 2.5 hrs - it’s a scam do not sign up you will regret it never using again hopefully everyone that reads this knows not to sign up with them you’re better off signing up with any other cleaning app

Just six months ago this application was much better and more convenient. Now it forces prices to be reduced, otherwise they simply won’t give you a job, and at the last moment you may get a job that you didn’t expect. The application charges you 20-30 dollars for refusing work for any reason.

Tidy is only concerned with profits, If you have a concern about a customer or a payment they take forever to get back to you…even though you work for them. Yet when they have a problem they are quick to take the money you earned even though they only give you half of what they charge to begin with. They love to send workers in groups to clean small houses that only require one person, they notify you that there will be another cleaner with you last minute….then charge you if you leave early because there’s nothing else to do. I was physically assaulted by a customer and they did nothing about it. Some bookings are for two hours and they expect you to deep clean and 4 bedroom 3 bathroom house. Alot of customers complain about poor management on the app, common problems include : lack of communication, $10 credit instead of refunds, way too many housekeeper cancellations (due to poor management of the app on the cleaners end) and lack of options when it comes to schedule changes or cancellations. If a customer cancels, they give you $20 on your next pay period no matter how much the job was for. If you cancel, they take half or more from what you’ve earned on other bookings on the spot. Everything is basically in their favor, whether you are a client or a worker on the tidy app you will be let down at some point.

Please, do not use this app it is a waist if time. I work with this company for 6 months because I reallly enjoy working for myself. Within my first few week i started noticing what others on this app were metioning. They still money from a customer who majority of the time is lying just to get free labor. They charge you just to get them to respond to a dispute. They do not fix the fact that they have racist customers towards the black and brown community. They play games like your joking until they see you remove your schedule completely thats is when they want to act like they care. TIDY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ITS WORKER BUT THE PROFIT. If your a good cleaner dont waist your hardwork and money on this. When its a serious issue occur they do not respond or send automates messages as if thwy are highly concern. I have screenshot of everything for the past 6 months on how i was treated by the custoners and the app workers. They are con artist at it finest.

Working for this company is not good. They will send you jobs that you didn't accept. The app won't show you jobs in your area too aloud you too accept or not accept. They'll sends you several jobs without your knowledge so they can charge you for not going and when you do any jobs they'll take the payments from you leaving you with nothing. This is a scam of a company. You as a cleaner have no control over accepting or not accepting jobs This app is for people that's looking for something for nothing. The people that use this app are people that can't afford good cleaners that'll do a professional jobs. You go cheap, you will repeat.

They change schedule without notification, the have a horrible customer service and work service! I work for they some months but I choice stop because they provide a BAD service and charge when THEY change your schedule! For example, I had a scheduled 4hrs 11AM-3PM they just changed my schedule to another place that is like 1 hour from my home basically 2 hours driving to pay $40 a schedule to 1 hour, they don’t notify nothing and charge the cancellation! I didn’t grab this job, they do it frequently!!

This app is trying to steal your time & money with any chance they get. I asked them to help deactivate my account & won’t do it. This app is a scam. It seemed like a good opportunity but now I’m stuck having to make sure I call out before they fee me for a job I never agreed to do. They won’t reply to me & I want my account deactivated, keep the money, I really don’t trust this app. Please listen to the reviews, I can only pause the account. I’m leaving the money there. I literally worked for free. Do yourself a favor & don’t rely on this sad company. Report them.

Tidy is an excellent cleaning company, both for customers, due to its values ​​and procedures, and for its employees, because it makes several jobs possible on different days and times, making the payment correctly, that is, Tidy is correct and responsible both with the customer and with your employees. I’ve used TIDY for a few months now and it’s ridiculous. It’s a scam, the payouts are half of what you earned. If you have any questions or concerns it’s all a automated message with links that lead nowhere. They charge clients more than what you earn. And if a client says they are wanting to work with you outside of the app they charge the cleaner $150!!! It’s a ridiculous app and service do not waste your time. I’ve had my services cancel on me almost every time and my account charged for it.

I worked in an apartment for an hour cleaning the kitchen and the living room and a bathroom that was very dirty. The woman wanted her apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms to be clean in 1 hour, that's ridiculous and when she complained to the app, they deducted everything I had earned. They are thieves of your work. You buy the supplies and you do the work and they still don't want to pay and they favor a crazy customer. Ridiculous and not recommended at all!

I had too many customers lying just to get free labor, I are houses are filthy and have the nerve to ask for a refund after you clean their home. Reporting to tidy that you didn’t work your full time to get their money back. So now the cleaners are no longer showing up. I immediately took my schedule off their app. You buy your own product and they keep $75 and give the cleaner $50, it’s a NO for me

Asking for too many things I don’t see any active clients.

They charge the customers 150+ but you only get paid 60-70$ without the bonuses , they don’t pay travel and equipment reimbursements. The travel mileage isn’t even accurate also they charge the customers 61 but the workers only get 20-25 and they always side with the customers even when they are wrong . I don’t not recommend working for this app

I am so grateful for TIDY. It has been an easy process to earn more money every month by offering high quality cleaning.

They are condescending money grabbing morons that are only concerned with using you for profits. Going to take my business elsewhere, as Angi services is far more efficient anyway. Its so sad that they will side with customers even if they scam you/ take advantage of the app’s poor and glitchy quality. Tidy is not worth any more of my headaches.

This company is honestly trying to make money off anyone!! They don’t care about people!! They will give the customer credit and not pay you. No gas, nothing! So don’t waste your time, money, effort, supplies ! I am literally trying to cancel more then 24 hours they want to charge me $10!!

Tidy for pros is an app pretty easy to learn, very good to work with. So far that's my main way to make money, I'm glad to work for Tidy!

It has helped me multiply my weekly earnings and I feel safe working through it.

Worst company ever. The application steals you practically 50% of the value and claims not to charge commissions. In addition, the support is terrible, they invent millions of fees after you do the work and I'm almost 5 months away from receiving an amount! App frozen every time you need, no support?

Please do no use this app . I worked so hard with 5 starts review and never got money back from unfair fees . The team concierge is just an automatic or computerized response . this app is a shame for humanity. As a Latino I don’t recommend this app under any circumstances

The app isn’t working and I have houses to clean the next day and if I don’t show up they will charge a fee ($40) for not showing up. Unbelievable, don’t use this app!

This is my recent experience with tidy 5/20/23 I worked this app and my partner has as well. They stupidity of the way they handle everything is mind blowing. You would think that this app would be managed better. You take a unreal amount of money from everyone. Use it to improve the quality of the experience that you provide. I have been a cleaner and have owned a cleaning business in the past 5 years. I have never been so disrespected by clients in my life! People don’t know how to clean period! I don’t care what you say with out experience or a person that is naturally tidy and clean. YOU don’t know how to clean. The clients not all because I have found wonderful clients on the app that quickly stop using the app. 95 percent of those clients are scammers and idiots! Please come clean my incredibly dirty house for half of what I paid for 2.5 hours. Which trust I have encountered very dirty homes! And I don’t judge. What I do judge is the fact you think I can do what you want in the 2.5 hours you expect. Then get mad because I don’t move fast enough? That isn’t how you run a business so this also falls on tidy. Setting expectations that are unrealistic is irresponsible. Not only for the company but anyone involved. Naturally as a business owner I meet my client and provide and estimate with a walk through. Getting to know the client and the way they live their lives. Then I tailor a cleaning schedule for them and keep there house clean. Of course not at the sad pay tidy gives. I charge the amount tidy would charge a person. Or even a bit extra for better quality work. Take this company down lol. If you are a good cleaner you can do do what they do and better.
