I started investing in real estate 6 years ago with Univest and their services keep getting better! Especially the mobile app where I can transfer between all accounts and deposit checks at my office. I can get a home equity loan and a commercial loan too! Keep up the great service guys!
At first I thought this app was an amazing improvement however the mobile deposit is really terrible. It tells you to make sure you have your signature, “For mobile deposit only” and your account number on the back. I did all those things and it still was telling me to endorse it with “For mobile deposit only”. I called my branch and they were 1. rude and 2. told me I wasn’t supposed to sign it or put my account number??? but it CLEARLY states that you need to and I even screenshotted it. So now I have to take my check to the bank for them to fix the check. Very unhappy. Don’t make a mobile deposit section if its just going to make it harder for everyone to deposit checks.
What’s the deal with the check deposit? Each check use to require dozens of attempts with different angles, lighting and shadows as it keeps rejecting it. This new version? FAILS COMPLETELY. NOT A SINGLE SUCCESSFUL CHECK READOUT. ALSO, back of the check is PRINTED with “For mobile deposit only” and the app keeps saying it’s not in the back. Can’t click on the image but only the “tap here” text…. It takes less time to travel to a branch and recover from coronavirus than this stupid app. We may have to move our business account out of Univest just because of this feature. I don’t have time for this and don’t need a bank that think that this experimental beta junk is remotely okay for business
This doesn’t seem like an improvement. The screen is much too crowded with information and it’s not intuitive. The last version was much easier to use - more streamlined and easier on the eye. Also, why is it so hard to do a mobile deposit? Even with the last version, it seems to reject deposits even when you’ve clearly written “For Mobile Deposit Only” and checked the box. It’s rare when I can get a deposit to go through on the first try. Seems like this app still needs some work.
App continually crashes after last update. Cannot deposit checks. App freezes when I attempt to take picture of back of check. I haven’t been able to mobile deposit since the update. When I call the bank, they tell me that I’m doing something wrong. Not the first time I’ve used the app ladies! It’s needs to be fixed, again…, may be time to move on to a different bank. This is ridiculous.
Every since the new App update, I have missing transactions between accounts. Then I go online, using a browser and the transactions between accounts are there! Hmmm Frustrating!
I just love Univest and would never plan to leave them. They are always helpful and get back to my messages quickly. The staff at Strasburg,PA Georgetown,PA and Willow Street, PA are beyond nice and very helpful, they even know my name which makes my day(: Thank you!
When I went on the app it had all my April transactions missing but it showed all of May and March. I chatted with someone from Univest who basically told me to uninstall the app then try again. I did that and now it only shows my transactions until April 30th. I’ve been banking with Univest for about 28 years and have always been happy with the local bank service, but this app needs fixing.
I really like the new design. It’s easy to use, and gives me more control than the last app. I am receiving an error when transferring money from one account to another: “unknown transfer error occurred”
First off, the app has not been working this entire day. Nothing loads. It tells me I have no accounts. Cannot see transactions. Second, the mobile deposits are awful. I write with a dark pen, take the picture in a well lit area, space out the words. And still it tells me to write “For mobile deposit only.” Everything about the app is terrible. Can’t wait to switch banks when this quarantine is over!!!
My son and I both use your mobile app. We have two different phone numbers. Your app only displayed my sons phone number to send a text. This needs to be changed.
Try logging in to your app and it takes forever to open and there is typically an error when accounts finally load. I attempt to sign in on your website and similar issues. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app a few times now and the issue persists.
I was a bit apprehensive when the website was revamped. I’m a creature of habit but I am very pleased with the ease of navigating the website! Love the desktop and MOBILE APP available. Very easy to use!
This app has made banking so much simpler and convenient. Transferring funds can be done in seconds, and it is performed on a beautifully designed app. I love it!
It’s a little annoying that every time you want to upload a mobile deposit - you have to physically write on the back of the check “For Mobile Deposit Only”.
My app always either freezes, or says its “up to date” when it isn’t. My mom can go into my account and see what my actual balance is but for me it doesn’t update properly. Please fix this!!!
Keeps sending me verification codes to login and when I enter them (correctly) they send me back to the login screen. I’ve tried updating the app and it keeps happening. Won’t be using this app anymore
The mobile deposit feature isn't even functional. I wanted to keep my business account with a small bank like Univest but this mobile app might be a dealbreaker. Very disappointing.
I am a creature of habit, so I am sure I will get used to the new app at some point. I do miss being able to label transfers- that feature was left out in the new version.
This app is SO much worse than the old Univest app. It’s way too cluttered and not easy to follow at all. The old app was organized and simple. I have way more issues with this app than the other one. Would give zero stars if possible.
Automatic transfers were never set to expire but somehow did causing overdraft. No mention of removing the charge since I set it to never expire. Mishap was blamed on the old system that I don’t have control over.
Always flags my checks for not having “for mobile deposit only” written when I write it every time. Very hard to bank with physical locations closed for COVID.
Truly just frustrated with the way this app interacts with the bank. The app itself: fine. The bank itself: eh. But the combination of the two is a terrible combination. Sadly an amalgamation of incompetence and poorly interconnected departments.
