Love Vacasa !!!
I have been going through Vacasa for years now . I travel several times a year with my grown kids, their Families and extended family and friends. We are always happy with our condos. They are always clean and have a lot of amenities! They are always in the locations we are traveling to. Once we had an issue where our paid condo was no longer available for some reason - Vacasa informed us quickly and offered us 3 other options and we picked an option that was more money than the original condo and there were no extra costs . Our vacation was not affected by this at all. I love the site also so easy to use . Love love love Vacasa!

Terrible customer service
I booked a 6 day vacation at the pelican beach resort for my family and I in Destin Florida through Vacasa. The good - the check in was easy, the location was good and the views were great. The bad - got to the room and there was black mold on the ceilings and walls I call vacasa and reported it and was told that they would move us to give them an hour or two to work out the details. At this point it is 5pm at around 7:30/8 pm someone from vacasa called and said they have found us a places at 2 different locations that would require us to sleep 2 nights at one place and the other 4 at another I told them that would be fine I was told to let them call me back with the details this is on a Friday night. Never got a call back Saturday rolls around nothing, Sunday comes and goes with me calling to no avail no return call, Monday morning at this point my son starts to have reaction to the mold so I call vacasa again I finally get someone that has no clue of the situation and said she would look into it and would call me back. We leave the room to get my son away from the mold while waiting for a call that never came. I go to the front desk and say something to them and was told to call vacasa that vacasa would have to handle it at this point I am very annoyed and frustrated. I go up to the room pack our bags and we cut our vacation short and went home. Just know this could be you and your family if you go through vacasa for your vacation.

Reservation cancelled the day before
We made a reservation in February of 2022 for the week of July 4th. The day before we are supposed to check in Vacasa tells us the home is no longer available due to a maintenance issue and gives us a refund. Okay, things happen, right? It’s not quite that simple though. We managed to find a place in the same area at the last minute through another provider. While we’re in town we notice that there are people staying at the home we had rented through Vacasa. Hmmmm, doesn’t sound like a maintenance issue to me. More like either Vacasa just decided to screw us, or the owner decided to lie about a maintenance issue so they could use the place over the 4th of July holiday. Either way, no concessions from Vacasa, just a refund and a ‘good luck saving your family vacation with less than 24 hours notice’. Long story short, don’t trust Vacasa with you major holiday vacation plans as they or their property owners can just yoink your reservation out from under you and you’ll be stuck with whatever you can find if you’re lucky enough to find anything at all.

DO NOT PLAN A VACATION WITH VACASA
Edit to initial review following developer response: My family and I have been requested to provide proof of my father’s passing and immediately sent the information to them. Will provide a further update following their response. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VACASA. Original: My father passed away unexpectedly and my family and I had booked a small vacation to York, Maine through AirBnB hosted by Vacasa. Within two days of my father's passing, we knew we would not be able to travel. My wife immediately reached out through AirBnb to inquire about options for our vacation. Originally, we were told Vacasa would allow us to reschedule into the future. When we followed up, that was not allowed and no refund would be issued. We followed up again and re-informed them of our reason for cancelation. Upon calling their customer service, the call was disconnected after explaining the situation. After yet another followup, we were told a "floating refund" would be issued if any of our dates were rebooked and to call back after 8/31 for information. We called back today and was told the "best they could offer" was a one night refund. Needless to say, we don't feel this is appropriate. We did not cancel the trip due to weather or illness or inconvenience. We canceled due to a completely unforeseen and devastating circumstance. We will never book anything through Vacasa again and strongly urge other potential customers to take caution.

I’d give 0 stars if I could
While the views and location were beautiful, the house we stayed in was in need of repair and updates. Holes in the floor, foggy windows, faulty electrical outlets were the least of our concern. The hot tub was placed above the master suite and every time the pump ran the entire room vibrated. Try sleeping under that. To top that off we had a few rainy days and where the hot tub sits the floor is concave so the water pools around the tub. The water started dripping though the ceiling onto our bed. Our bed was wet and we couldn’t even sleep in it the last two nights. I’ve emailed and called a several times times with no solution other than they had maintenance drop off an air mattress for us to sleep on. Not my idea of comfort. Not what I paid for. The ceiling was still leaking when we left, so I hope it’s properly fixed for the next guest. I’m filing a report with the BBB because doing any kind of business with them is absolutely frustrating and their communication is horrible. Never again.

Terrible service
Got here and was told the hot tub was broken and they wont fix it. We paid more for our rental so we would have a hottub otherwise we would have rented the cheaper place with out one. They said first it was being replaced on Wednesday which does us no good it takes twp days to heat we will be gone by then. Also they would inconvenience us to install new one. And then maintenance tells us its just a bad breaker which they could get from Lowes and install in a few minutes but i guess tgey dont want to spend part of the $8000 we paid them to honor the fact we were suppose to have a hot tub. Then told us its not guaranteed to have a hottub or pool but is advertised as having one. Use the money to fix it as it should be. Then when we called them the girl hung up on us! When we told them they could get a breaker at Lowes and fix it cause we looked it up and Lowes has one they refused. Bad bad service dont want to please the customer and we worked hard all year for this vacation!!!!

Spring Trip
The condo that we stayed in was clean and comfortable. I’m pretty sure the beds were the most comfortable we have ever encountered in our travels. It was tastefully decorated and not overdone with mountain decor. We unfortunately had one solid night of quiet during quiet hours though, our 1st night there. The unit directly above us was noisy the next 3 nights. The first night we thought they could be coming in and bringing their stuff. The second night was worse, and I had to call Vacasa to file a complaint. I followed up with the front desk in the morning as instructed. That night was even worse! We thought they were remodeling it was so loud. My husband had to finally make a visit upstairs. It was a great place, and other than the upstairs people, everyone else was wonderful. Not sure if we’ll do it again because we like to actually go to sleep, but it was nice overall.

Excellent Views
The home was very clean, and the views were excellent. The check in process was not as described and needs to be updated in the description. I would advise to pre-print your parking pass and make two copies, put one on the dash when you get there and take the other copy to the first floor of the main building to get your arm bands. We were told that there is no longer anyone at the desk at the parking garage area anymore. One other thing that needs to be updated or fixed in the description, is the grill does not work on the balcony. We called the customer service of the property management and was told they would have someone out to take a look at it, but they never showed up. The home was in excellent condition and we will come back if it is available.

Run away! Far, far away from this company
We stayed at one of their properties in Savannah, GA June 18th-26th and when we arrived the air conditioner was broken and the house was 85 degrees. I called dozens of times and after three full days of staying in this hot house they finally got someone out to fix it and I told them then that I wanted a refund for the three days I had to stay there with no a/c and I was told that I would get something back. After a couple of weeks of not hearing anything, I emailed them and got a response back a couple of weeks later about high email volumes (gee, I wonder why?), and after a couple more weeks I finally got a response on July 30th refusing my refund due to there being fans in the house. The fans they are referring to were two box fans that were running in the bedrooms when we got there which tells me they knew about the a/c being out BEFORE we got there and did nothing about it. Terrible company, terrible ethics.

Absolute Worst Management Company Ever
I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Vacasa Vacation Rental Management, and I cannot stress enough how poorly run this company is. It is abundantly clear that they are unprofitable and on a fast track towards bankruptcy. This pervasive attitude of failure and despair permeates every aspect of their business. Their customer service is nothing short of a joke. Whether you’re dealing with their poorly scripted AI bots or their human representatives (who might as well be robots), the experience is equally frustrating and unhelpful. Vacasa has effectively removed hospitality from the hospitality business, leaving customers feeling neglected and disrespected. For any self-respecting homeowner considering contracting with Vacasa, I strongly advise against it. Their incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction are unmatched. They are so abysmal in their operations that I am certain many people end up trashing the properties in revenge for the appalling way they have been treated. To make matters worse, Vacasa CEO Rob Greyber received a $2 million bonus for overseeing this train wreck and a staggering 90% drop in stock value. Vacasa chases failure like it’s their destiny … and it is. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of Vacasa. They are a disaster waiting to happen, and no one should have to endure the level of incompetence and disrespect that they dish out on a daily basis.

Port A get away
Our weekend was a success. Our family was gathering to give our mom our final farewell. The house is very comfortable, there were 6 adults and two young children. The rooms are spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The pool is right across the street and the beach access was very convenient. I called Vacasa a couple of times with small concerns and the agents were helpful. My only complaints are the oven was a bit complicated and there were no kitchen dish towels. But we all agreed that we would stay in this house again.

This has been a nightmare
The customer service and everything has been a joke. We rented a house a month in advance in a respite we love. They cancel on me a week before the trip and move my family to a condo. I let it go since it’s peak season and I can’t really do much. Then the call me at 10pm that my reservation was canceled again!! And moved to a different city and a small unit. It’s cheap and I can’t get my price difference. Oh and to top it off the 3 day stay is broke into 2 units cause they have no space. My sister in law works for hisd so august is not an option. We are supposed to leave at 3am and now I’m on hold at 11pm cause the first person tell me this news didn’t send me a confirmation. Just to call again and find out it was never reserved in that other location. Please stay away from this website. I will never again go here. I got here cause it was cheap and caused more headaches!!!

Do Not use this app.
I gave this app a try because it had a beautiful vacation rental I wanted to stay at. I should’ve read the reviews online for the corporate office because I am now being scammed by the company. And it looks like they’ve done this over and over again to others. I had a terrible experience with my vacation rental and five days later, I still haven’t been contacted by vacasas “local team” that I don’t believe even exists. This company also only uses high reviews on their app to lie to people about their true ratings. Every day for five days I’ve asked for assistance and every day for five days I’ve been told the local team has been notified. Just letting anybody know that’s considering this app, don’t download it, don’t use it, there’s so many more other apps that you can do vacation rentals, and not be scammed.

Fraud!! Renters be aware!!!
We are renting a house in Fire Island at 137 Ocean Bay Blvd in Ocean Bay Park and found the house in the middel of a construction site with construction going on 24/7. Bulldozers digging and jack hammering all night long. We don’t have beach access as was advertised. This construction was not mentioned in Vacasa’s ad, even though we found out it has been going on for a long time. The police informed us that there are no construction restrictions because the beach is state land and therefor construction can continue ALL NIGHT LONG. We haven’t been able to sleep since we arrived and VACASA is unresponsive. We have emailed several times. No reply. Calling failed due to insane wait hours. Don’t rent with Vacasa and don’t rent this property. Vacasa makes it difficult to submit a review. The only review for this property is clearly presented by Vacasa itself. This is the only way to warn others who are about to be duped.

Look elsewhere
Abysmal experience with customer service, which is a mega call center with no communication or care for the actual customers. Booked a place with a heated pool. Listing said there would be a charge of $50 per day for the heat. I later found out that the listing hadn’t been updated but that were implementing an increased charge of $65 per day. Upon booking I was told there were fees that increased the total to $220 for a 3 night stay. The pool was freezing and we spent an undesirable amount of our vacation on many calls and with multiple workers, to no avail. We were promised a full refund but it took weeks of calling for them to follow through. Even then, they only refunded $198. Choose another company to do business with because this one doesn’t care about anything but their bottom lines.

First experience never again
I had to check out 1 day early as I received a call my mother was in ICU. The front desk was very kind when I came in sobbing arhat we had to leave. I asked if they were able to rent it for the night if I would not be charged. They said because it was through Vacasa they couldn’t do anything. However they gave me a number to call as well as said Vacasa could call them as well. My mom died the day we were to check out. Same day I received the email stating they would not refund anything. I never complain. The rugs were stained and the blinds to the slider fell off so people walking by to the pool could see in. I didn't complain. I never leave negative reviews. Maybe one other in my life. But I am disappointed they were not a little more helpful with my awful situation.

Do NOT use Vacasa. Terrible Properties and Customer Support.
We were booked into an unsafe room. We have been in touch with “customer support” for over a week. Our room was dirty, used as storage, and electrocuted us, but Vacasa issued “no refund” once we were barely able to speak to someone. This app is full of shady people and not worth the hassle. Their standards for rooms do not exist. We had a week-long stay turn into a nightmare that put us an extra $1k in the hole because we had to book with a different room (after a separate hotel gave us a discount for something that wasn’t their fault!! that’s called being a good company vacasa!!) If you plan on staying in Molokai especially, do NOT use Vacasa (just don’t use the app at all), book through the hotel!! Will never use this god-forsaken app ever again.

Terrible service
I have never encountered such a level of incompetence and lack of service as with Vacasa. We had a 2-day booking, and right from the get-go, everything went awry. Upon arriving at the rented home, we found the air conditioning was not working. And this was amid extraordinarily high outside temperatures. We immediately contacted Vacasa support, who promised to send a technician to fix the issue. However, no one ever showed up. We spent a whole night in an unbearably hot house with no means to cool it down. Vacasa's support was utterly useless. They provided us no solution or assistance, so we were forced to check out of the house after just the first night. They promised to refund our money for the inconvenience, but we've yet to see a cent back. In the end, we lost $1000 on this "service". It was a total disappointment and an extremely unpleasant experience. It feels like they just stole our money. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this company. Instead of promised comfort and convenience, we got nothing but stress and disappointment. Vacasa is undoubtedly the worst service I've ever had to deal with. Use any other rental platform, but not this one.

Vacasa is HORRIBLE
This company scammed my family and our friends by renting us a house, taking our money and holding it for a month, then cancelling our booking several hours before our check-in. We had driven 17 hours with two families and were three states from home. We had to stop on the side of the road for two hours trying to find and book something else last minute. There were no comparable rentals left. We had to book a terrible hotel for way more money than the house was. We lost the ability to stay together in our vacation. We lost the kitchen for cooking, making the food more expensive and less healthy. The list goes on. This is a terrible company. Do not take the chance and have your vacation ruined by a bad property management company.

Don’t trust Vacasa
I’ve had several terrible experiences with Vacasa, and it’s 100% clear to me that they really don’t care about your experience. They have so many properties it’s hard to avoid them, so they feel like they can get away with everything. Most recently they sold the home I rented through Expedia and then transferred my reservation from Expedia to Vacasa against my wishes. Now to get away from them I need to fully cancel, cross my fingers I can find another accommodation, and front another $800 to book while waiting for my original payment to be refunded. They really screwed me over and didn’t tell me what they were doing along the way. If I hadn’t been asking so many questions they never would have told me at all. Vacasa does not care about you.

Made booking so easy!!
This app made booking our vacation so easy and very assessable!! I was able to find all the information I needed for my trip and it was just very convenient to have all of my information and receipt available easily! Highly recommend and I will definitely be using this app every-time I book! I also love the feature that you can add guest to rooms do they are able to see and access the info as well when traveling with large groups!!

House very dirty
Hello we checked into our house today and are very disappointed. The sheets are dirty, the garbage cans are overflowing, someone has thrown up in the downstairs bathroom and it wasn’t cleaned up well before we arrived and there were many fruit flies covering the toilet seat. The house was not locked upon arrival. The previous guest clearly had a party here. There is a large spill, wine, pee or vomit that was cleaned on the rug before we arrived and was sopping wet. The pool was not chemically balanced when we arrived so we personally had to put new chemicals in. Overall with coronavirus going on we do not feel like this was the clean and safe environment we were looking for. We have tried calling vacasa but haven’t had anyone answer after 30 min wait. We’ve stayed at The Tides twice prior to this stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay(again)! There was absolutely no problems whatsoever! Easy check-in and checkout as usual. This was my birthday weekend with my wife and Mom. One of the balcony lights did not work. I informed Vacasa immediately, they responded, but never sent anyone to repair it. That was the only issue. Comfy beds, spacious, outstanding beach and pool/bar view! Well stocked also! The Tides never lets me down! We will definitely be back!

We use Vacasa for our family trips. We save all of our money to just be with family once or twice a year & we always know Vacasa will take care of our kids, dogs, and us in a beautiful home. Anything that goes wrong is ALWAYS taken care of.. once an alarm went off due to an electrical storm from 3am to 5 and our lovely Vacasa helper fixed all. Thank you for our memories!! Definitely worth every cent.

Poor service!
We booked and paid in full for a house in Groveland, CA in June 2024 in agoda app connected somehow to vacasa app which makes so confusing. They want us to sign the rental aggreement that we can’t even find at vacasa app. It would be easy if they just send me a link to my email so that I can sign the rental aggreement. The website said “You paid in full and you are all set.” A few days before our rental was to begin, we received an e-mail saying that our reservation was cancelled. We did not cancel it. We called the phone number provided on two separate days and spoke to two representatives. These people seemed to have no idea what happened and were totally useless in resolving our issue. All we wanted to do was secure the reservation that we paid for in full. Alternatively, we would appreciate a full refund, so we can make other arrangements. We received neither and left high and dry. We are now forced to work with our credit card company to try to resolve this. Agoda is a company that is clearly not ready for prime time and should be avoided at all costs.

App Will Not Let Me Sign In
I’ve only had this app for a couple of days and it will not let me pass the “match the word to the photo” to sign in. The error message “oops” keeps coming up but there is no tech support or suggestion of what needs to be done. I can however log in perfectly through the website. That’s not very convenient because the text messages I’m receiving (I have a trip booked) say “sign into the app”. Is there any solution this issue? I’ll probably delete the app after my trip and just use the website in the future.

Skewed reviews!!
This app is a joke. We stayed at a horrible rental that had hundreds of great reviews and it was a complete dump, nothing like the pictures and we had chemical burns from the hot tub. We didn’t ask for our money back or anything in return other than to write an honest review of the house. We have fought for weeks to just have our review posted and we have just gone round and round with this company. BUYERS BEWARE! This company doesn’t let you post an honest review of subpar rentals!!!! I’m sure that the good reviews are from paid individuals. We aren’t finicky. I travel for a living and have stayed in rentals all over the globe. There’s no way that we are the only ones.

Minimum stay issues
There are far less rentals available than other applications but also there is minimum booking requirements that make some of these not even feasible. For instance, I’m going on a cruise and I want to get into Miami the night before so I can plan accordingly, I can’t book a room for the one night before I get on the boat. I gave it 4 stars because that’s not entirely on Vacasa but they should incentivize property owners to reconsider this in towns where people are just passing through.

Losing Business For Their Property Owners
Update: **14 days** after my original question was submitted I finally received a generic response. Still no answer or relevant information. Complete failure. First time using Vacasa. It will be the last. Wanting to make a reservation but need to know if the property can be accessed with a non-4WD as a few of the reviews mention a long, janky driveway. Vacasa didn’t respond so I have no choice but to find another property in another rental platform. Business lost for the property owner. While I’ve never experienced a problem with a rental, does Vacasa also not respond if there’s a problem requiring immediate attention? Seems likely.

What a find!!!
Kick off your flip flops and do nothing at all or make aGourmet meal in the equipped kitchen. Barbecue with your entire familyAnd maybe take out a kayak. A close walk to the beach. Great parking. Food store around the block. Roomy, clean and relaxing but close to anything you want or need. Great extra space with a pocket door for some added lounging privacy. Really a great place. I’m scared to say too much because I want week options left for us!

Avoid this company at all costs.
Rented a cabin through Vacasa for a ski trip but the weather conditions worsened leading up to the trip, to the point where every single highway leading to the cabin was closed for multiple days. Despite explaining this to them, with dozens of pieces of evidence supplied (road closure notifications from the local transportation authority, weather reports that clearly stated that travel would be impossible, etc), vacasa refused to let me cancel or even modify my trip. Ended up having to pay nearly the full amount for a trip that was physically impossible to go to. Expensive lesson learned never to use this company again.

Doesn’t that speak volumes? House is perfect! We have had a blast. So peaceful and quiet and comfortable and staff at Vacasa was great! Beds are comfy. There was only two of us so we had our own room and bath. A plus! For sure!! Kitchen is well equipped and next time we are bringing our e-bikes🤗🤗🤗. Can’t wait to return… see you in a couple of months

Please don’t use this APP!
1. The check-in and out time was really strict, 4pm to 10am. I had a meeting at 10am and asked if we could expanded 30 mins and the customer service answered very cold, no. 2. The outdoor lighting is totally out of use, we couldn’t use the swimming pool over night, which was the reason we booked the house. We asked the customer service if there were a hidden switch and they let us to found out ourselves. 3. There were cleaning ppl entered our house without notification during our stay in the early morning. In summarize, cold customer service with no flexibility and care to the customer.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
This place was by far the worst experience I have had. The whole place was honestly DISGUSTING!! The beds were unmade with stains on it. The floor had sand all over it. The bathrooms were awful. The whole place smelled like urine and feet!! Bags full of trash outside the door. Roaches roaming around the place. It looks like the place hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. I was told that someone was going to come by and clean the place and nobody showed up in the 3 days I was there. AWUFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!! I do not recommend coming here it’s like throwing money in the trash. I am currently trying to get my money back because this was a steal.

Vacasa ignores and suppresses bad reviews
We rented a vacation home in Mendocino through Vacas. There were many issues with the care of the home which were noted in our review. The review has never been published and no contact with us has been attempted. It’s pretty clear that a slew of other bad reviews have probably been suppressed on this home as there have not been any reviews since last year, and yet we saw many people coming and going from the other residence on the property. I’m guessing that they are suppressing bad reviews in order to keep people renting these homes as frequently as possible.

Great house but Vascasa can do better!
We loved everything about the house and location!!! The customer service thru Vascasa was pretty horrid tho-I had to call numerous times and wait a total of 2 hrs to talk to a person while we were there cause I had one simple question. The customer rep was nice once I finally got thru and I know it’s not her fault they don’t have the staff they should

Unhappy with customer service
We rented through Vacasa in Brookings, OR and feel very misled by the app information and customer support. The app says they have 24/7 customers service. When we contacted them to get help because the unit had problems with the hot tub TV and internet they replied a local team would take care of it. The instructions provided by Vacasa were different from those in the unit. Nothing was ever fixed. I understand Vacasa takes over from the owner to maintain and service the units. If I was an owner I’d be very upset with the poor quality of cleaning and maintenance.

The worst company to deal with
Went to Ocean City and stayed in the condo where the air conditioning was broke when we got there. We called and they wanted to refund us and make us find our own place because they had nothing. They kept saying they were trying to get a hold of the owner of the condo then when we found people that knew him he had no clue. They wanted to give us $25 a day for not having air-conditioning. Two kids pooped in the pool and they refused to come and clean it for days. Trying to get a refund and being hung up on by managers absolutely unprofessional!!

Refused refund and not responding
Due to the corona virus outbreak and the mandatory shelter in place order that is currently in place for the state that I reside(WA) as well as the state of the vacation home I rented (OR) I was forced to cancel my upcoming trip. Not only am I having to pay full price for the trip I’m not taking including cleaning fees and water usage fees etc the home owner and the customer service via the app have not responded to my several contact attempts. Thoroughly disappointed with how this company is treating their customers during this state of emergency. Could’ve easily given a credit to use later but they won’t even respond to us.

Rude!!
When I finally got thru, waiting times up to and over two hours, it was on the last day allowed to cancel. It was the 30th day and I was told it had to be BEFORE 30 days. I also asked if I could file for a refund with the travel insurance I had purchased and this was the answer, “we don’t refund for fear, not legitimate “. Wow, I never seen anything more legitimate. Anyway, now we Have next May to hopefully get there. The bad part is I’m 77 years old and too many things are possible. We needed the money far more than another vacation.

They censor reviews
I have used Vacasa for over 10 years and I gotta say they are declining in services and value offered to customers. Worse yet, they are censoring honest reviews. I can go back in the app and look at homes I’ve stayed at in months and years prior and only my 4 and 5 star reviews remain. Anything below a 4 star review has been scrubbed. One place was outright dangerous, with doors that wouldn’t lock. Other places have had no Wi-Fi, no A/C, no window coverings. False advertising. Or refusing to properly describe a property. Pretty unethical business practices; hiding the negative reviews. Bah!

Future stay credit
Just wanted to say how awesome the folks at Vacasa have been to me. I had some family health scares that prevented me from returning to Belize and instead of losing my money they issued me a future stay credit and I will be able to return in may 2021’ for a week and again in Nov. can’t tell you how grateful I am that I chose Vacasa to work with.

Good luck getting in touch with anyone
Apparently Vacasa has taken over management at the resort I’ve been staying at for 20 years. I’ve never had a problem with booking or reaching someone when I had a question or inquiry until now. I’ve sent numerous emails, and have called several times to no avail. They have different prices for the same room depending on which website you use. I always book a weeks stay at The Islander Resort for my birthday, and had a question regarding booking, I’ve received zero response. I am beyond disappointed with their lack of service.

Not able to leave a review in the app
I’m not able to leave a review in the app. The place we rented in Gilchrist, TX is trash. One of the tubs in a 2 bath house is broken. The flooring is coming up. None of the doors open/close properly. There’s a tiny sofa for seating in the living room. The beds in 2 of the 3 bedrooms are pathetic. This was advertised as “private beach access.” This is not a private beach, nor is there private access to the beach. Vehicles are allowed, and it’s trashy. Never been to a beach before where I have to make sure everything is locked because of theft.

Great location, beautiful view, above average facilities
Pros: Enjoyed our stay. Facilities are well maintained and clean. Unit was nice and had everything we needed. Cons: Pool staff are annoying. I understand the need to monitor the pool area for non-guests but all day long? We couldn’t enjoy ourselves for all the policing. We’ve stayed here for years. This is the first time security was like this.

Terrible app - hosts please don’t use this app!!
Won’t let you copy and paste your email address on account creation which not only decreases security, it serves no modern reasonable purpose other than inconveniences the users. Worse, the verification email sends a link that is so long that it gets truncated by a lot of email apps, breaking the link and preventing guests from using it. Hosts, for the love of god don’t make guests use this app or you are going to be dealing with frustrated customers who can’t get in, post bad reviews, and don’t come back.

Poor support and terrible partnership
Got matched up with Vacasa thru marriott and I regret giving them a chance. Needed support on a reservation and it took 5 days of trying all channels (phone, txt, etc) before finally giving up and falsely claiming that i had a safety issue to get someone who could assist. by then it was too late for them to do anything to help me and so i was just left unaccommodated. would not use them again under any circumstances because it will be just you on your own when something goes wrong.

Worst booking app ever
Honestly you would be better staying on the side of the road than the places I’m here. I got a dirty cabin that had the doors not locking and the air conditioning not working and oh wait there’s more the hot tub was busted. They refused to move me to another cabin or give me a full refund. Will never book properties with this company ever again. I rather stay homeless than ever book here again. Never use this app or else be ready for useless customer service and cabins that you wouldn’t even pay 50 dollars to stay in!!!!!

If only the app worked as well as the company does
Finding properties to stay at is easy and flawless. I like it more than Airbnb’s app. However the way the company makes decisions on the corporate level and even at the boots on the ground level is really sad. Many homeowners are dissatisfied with how their homes are treated and neglected and the guests are left with the bill and have a sub par quality experience.

STAY AWAY!!!
Had a terrible experience with Vacasa while staying at their property. Their service is incredibly inefficient. The rental was not clean, and basic essentials like heat were not functioning. When I reported issues, they refused to fix them promptly, only responding during business hours. Even worse, they declined to refund me or move me to a different property. If you encounter problems at night, you’re stuck until morning, with no options but to leave and lose your money.
