I was super excited to finally scan my tickets and no longer have to use the manual entry. On top of that I LOVED that if it was a winner, it told you how much it was! Awesome! So many Times I didn’t realize I had a double or something and this APP finally gave me answers..... HOWEVER... for 2 days now I can not get it to work. It scans and then says “sorry, we can’t establish a connection to the service. Please try again later.” I tried later, then later again, now a day later and the same thing! I would have given this app a 5 star review up until the last few days, not working at all no matter where I am and as great of a connection on WiFi I have. It’s useless now and so disappointing because it was amazing 😢😭 Whatever is wrong please fix it ASAP I’ve got stacks now that haven’t been scanned, then when it’s fixed it’ll take forever because the daily limit.
Was pumped to discover this app and the ability to scan tickets - no more manual entry, yes! However, most times I scan a ticket and the “pinwheel of death” loading icon just spins. Only way to stop it or go back to the main screen is to close out the app. I’ve tried it with/without the flash on, holding the ticket up close/far away, completely scratching the barcode clean, nothing works. The whole attraction of this app was this scanning feature. Without it, it might as well just be a list of lottery games - which I can see when I go to the store to buy them anyway. Sometimes I get lucky and it scans right away, but the chances of that happening are about the same odds as winning actual money on a scratch ticket.
Since their last update, there is a problem scanning any tickets on my iPhone. You sit there and wait and wait and wait and finally it comes up with an error message that says, “sorry- can not connect to server”…. Reported this a few times- support responded, by acknowledging there is a problem and Thames are working on it- but here we are, months later and I can not scan a ticket! Get this fixed please!!!!!
When I first downloaded this app it was great and I could quickly check my VT Lottery tickets and enter the losers into the 2nd chance drawings. Then it started not working and gave an error of connectivity issues. Other functions of the app work but you can’t scan in tickets with out getting this error 99% of the time now :(. I contacted the lottery through the app and was told to delete the app and download it again. I’ve done that and it did not change. Please fix the issue!! Many would appreciate it. Thank you.
After a year (maybe closer to two) of this app not being able to scan tickets, it finally worked after it was updated… Unfortunately, it appears the app’s programmers don’t want to spoil their users, and the newest update just gives a “take ticket to agent” error after each scan. The company that created this all just can’t seem to get its act together. Very frustrating.
It’s been Months since I’ve been able to get this app to work. It used to be super convenient, but it’s literally been months since I’ve been able to scan anything without an error. Prior to not working at all, it wouldn’t only scan one before the error messages. I’d have to close out of the app and sometimes I could scan one again by reopening the app. Please fix the app!
This app started out not being bad. The last few months it is the worst. I have tried deleting and re-download in it and no change. When you scan a ticket most of the time it says oops try again later not connected to the server. Every ticket you scan needs to be done 2 to 6 times in order for it to upload. I shut down the app in between it needs to be fixed.
Was cautious about using the app do to people saying didnt works found out I have to select my ticket then scan and works fine just a little effort on my part but no problems here
Very grateful that this app has finally rolled out. Very easy to use saves me a bunch of time. If you play Vermont scratch offs and enter losers for 2nd chance drawings than you need this app,
The app used to work amazing when it first started but now it is junk. It is constantly sending back error messages and it takes ridiculous amount of time to even get one ticket scanned. Fix your app!!!!!
This could be a really good app but it takes way too long to try and get a ticket scanned. I get the same “error trouble establishing a connection” as everyone else. Rather frustrating. I emailed them a while ago and still no resolution.
This app very rarely works. I scan my ticket and it just spins forever until I receive that dreaded “Oops! there is some issue in connecting the service. Please try again later.” Also, the T in there should be capitalized. Very frustrating app.
More often than not this app does not successfully scan tickets and submit them for second chances. “Can’t Connect to Server”Errors galore. Very frustrating! Great concept but definitely needs a lot of work.
Tried app hoping the other poor reviews were over the top. App wouldn’t even open after downloading. Just crashed repeatedly. I’m a Vermont resident who absolutely loves the New Hampshire lottery app. Please hire their developer!! We can do better! Jeez….
The scanner almost never works. Not worth it. They’ve been aware of the issue for close to a year (that I know of, possibly longer) but they do nothing to fix it.
The app worked like a charm until I did not use it for some time. When I tried to login it told me my account was disabled. Tried to reset password, start a new account, delete and reinstall, but nothing worked.
This app is absolute junk! The year is 2022. Every restaurant has a bar code menu. But the Vermont lottery app cannot do the only thing that anyone should want it to do.. scan a bar code. C’mon man!
