Filter requests

This app looks great, but some filters would be nice, like filter activities that are free from the ones with additional cost, or at least put a $ sign next to activities that have additional cost. Maybe a filter for the $ on restaurants would be great, i.e. show restaurants that are only $ and not $$ or $$$. Some of the restaurants don’t show a $ rating when viewing the restaurant list. Otherwise, I like that there is an app to start with, and can’t wait for my vacation at the Grande Luxxe!!

Great to navigate resort and events

This app was extremely helpful for navigating around the resort and setting a consolidated event schedule. It appears a previous version of the app must not have worked well, tanking its App Store rating. And the resort did not promote its use, perhaps for that reason. But this version worked perfectly and I hope they start to recommend it again.

I Agree With Previous Requests for Listed Price Ratings

There should be a “listings of 2 Categories”, one of all the Free Events & Activities, and one of the Paid Activities ( with a charge for the activity- next to it👍)…. some resorts put $signs next to the activity… such as : $ = low cost $$= reasonably inexpensive $$$= expensive $$$$= very expensive ** that way people know what the cost is, and can make judgments depending on what budget they have👍

Very useful

Just spent a week in Riviera Maya and this app was essential. It made getting around so easy, using the gps function to find the best route. It would be easy to get lost here otherwise (I saw plenty of people wandering around confused by the signs). I used it daily to look for restaurant times and activities. Do yourself a favor and download this before your stay.

Needs improvement

Map on the app is not great. Can only zoom in so much and does not rotate at all making it a bit difficult to navigate the resort. Nothing on the app showing the tram routes or which ones to use to get places. Could use a better filter for locating food/what’s open when ( certain restaurants closed certain days but don’t know until you click on the restaurant itself). Also not all restaurants have the menu on the app.

Great app for phone!

This app is fast and easy to use. Load it before you arrive so you can plan your holiday from the moment you arrive. It makes navigating the huge Riviera Maya resort much simpler. The directions and gps directed walking maps are essential for quick navigation around this huge property in a jungle setting. The pathways between the various lodging facilities and transportation network are an enjoyable maze however they do take some getting use to. The restaurant descriptions and store hours are very helpful! That said, the maps are low res without much detail which is ok because the buildings are marked pretty well and there is plenty of staff to direct you. Bon Voyage...

Easy to use & very useful

Easy app to navigate. Has entire schedule of all the activities throughout the resort so you can plan ahead. Has information regarding all of the restaurants and connects with open table for easy restaurant reservations! Love the app and highly recommend it for all guests

Super helpful!

Such a great UI with accurate information. Lots of the older reviews have clearly been taken into consideration. You can see price ranges, each menu, and make reservations. The directions feature is a lifesaver!

Makes accessible a gigantic resort

This resort is huge! Without this app I would be lost! It has a helpful GPS-guided map, all the restaurant locations, tips on happy hours, special events, etc. At the resort when you walk by an employee they touch their heart. This app is an electronic extension of that spirit.

Such a big help in our stay

We used the app everyday to check events, make dinner reservations, find activities, etc. super useful. Highly recommend. Great trip and this app really helped.

Property share sales are deceiving

We thought we had purchased a one bedroom but to this company based on their fine print, that’s a studio. They can’t be honest to their customers, they will only create a bad name for themselves. Very nice property, hotel staff are very nice but sales personnel are selfish sharks. Don’t trust them 👎

I stayed at Riviera Maya resort last week and downloaded the app. The app was great while there but my vacation is over and I have repeatedly tried to delete it but I cannot delete it, it just reappears!

Hasn’t been updated in years!

First off, the app is iPhone only, so screen resolution is the pits. More importantly, it is several years behind the state of the resort, at least at Nuevo Vallarta. There has been significant development on the property that isn’t reflected in the app. Overall, a waste of space.

Vedanta Resort App

Maps are nice until they lock up at a restaurant or other site description with a dead end link and no return -stuck on one page forever! This App is a poor creation by an amateur App developer -I killed it. No longer useful. Locked up on one page. Nice try, but... TOTAL FAIL! *using iPhone 8 plus*

Inconsistent data

App is not updated with current Acapulco restaurants on my phone but same version gives different data on husbands phone.

Hardly ever works

Freezes up or repeatedly tells me what I’m looking for is unavailable right now. Tells me to try again later. Three days of attempts to use it and now I’m done trying. Useless app, no more time spent on this

Change to make app more useful

For visitors with reservations at the resort, it would be helpful to have that information appear in the app. Right now, this is just provides a link to the website...pretty rudimentary.

Keeps exiting out of app

I’m not sure why I only stay in the app for about a minute and then it exits. Looks really helpful if I could just continue to navigate

Needs tablet view

Incredibly useful and necessary. Detailed maps are hard to read on low resolution iPhone app. Needs to support larger resolutions and tablet mode.

Ugh, as bad as ever!

I tried the very first version of this app years and years ago, before most people even bothere with apps for this kind of thing. It was horrible, and so is this one: massively drains your battery, constantly uses location in the background for no reason, and spams you with notifications that are 100% irrelevant to your current activity or even your whole visit. And now, the new dining menus added are AWFUL. You can only see a couple of menu items at a time, and have to flip between different pages back and forth. Since printed menus are no longer offered on property, app menus are the only option and they are implemented in a very poorly-considered manner with awful design. It’s very hard to set up shared dining for a large group by scanning across several pages, scrolling up and down, all trying to figure out what goes with what. Then you have to memorize it all, because there’s no menu to point at for reference while you order!! The app’s map of the property is perpetually out of date and has very little information. It’s barely functional at all, like they wanted to have a map but had no idea what people would use a map for. Meanwhile there is no *functionality* to the app. I can barely reserve restaurants — it’s just an OpenTable browser on a small screen — but I can’t find one that’s open, or filter out all the tiny snack bars and pool bars. I can’t boop a button and get my concierge; I can’t get directions around the large property; I can’t let the bell know I need something without calling on the land line; I can’t see the housekeeping schedule, or see what floor the concierge desk is open, or make the app DO ANYTHING. It’s basically just the regular bad Vidanta web site, except it drains your battery and spams you.

Needs help

App seems to think I’m in Acapulco when I’m actually in Riviera Maya. Pretty useless. I specified hotel in Me and still it’s clueless.

Horrible

Agree with previous user. Opens super slowly, crashes over and over then freezes completely when you try to scroll. Infuriating. Use the paper maps

WOW!!! One of the best apps!!!

This is a beautifully designed app and super helpful! Provides up-to-date info about the resort and upcoming events. Map is really easy-to-use and gives directions when getting around the resort. Helps me make the most of my stay!!!

Great app for the most amazing resort.

I mean this thing is amazing and you can navigate so easily anything you could want is at your fingertips. I love it. I love this resort and this makes it easy to book massage, dinner res, where to see the sunset, happy hour. Everything is here.

Use it all the time on my iPhone

Not sure why other users apps freeze but mine never does. Use it everyday for activities and menus of where we want to eat.

Worse than useless

Horrible app. Only opens about 20% of the time, & frequently freezes and/or crashes. Even when it’s working it is useless. The activity times are wrong (dinner event at 10 AM???). Most of the “information” is generic advertising followed by “ask your concierge“. The map isn’t labeled (are you kidding me?). Skip this one.

Waiting for grass to grow?

Worst written app I have used in years. Hangs at every tap waiting for either a server or ?? (Internet is slow but all my other apps work just fine!) Frustrating that you can't tell if it is waiting or if it crashed. Apps can be written so they still work with slow internet (not uncommon in Mexico), but this app is totally worthless as delivered. Really a shame since it has has some good features (walking route to get to your restaurant for example) ... If only we could access them reliably. A disappointed Luxxe owner.

Great for maps

I loved using my Vidanta app to help navigate the resort. Also great for finding the perfect restaurant selection for every meal.

Worst guidance app ever!!

The listing of events does not correspond with what the respite has listed, no capability to create a personal schedule, takes a long time to scroll through events in a week. More unhelpful than helpful.

Super resort el mejor en servicio que es lo primero que necesitamos un buen servisio, de hay parte todo lo demás. Si tienes un buen servicio vas a tener una buena Abitacion lujosa limpia y cómoda. Las comidas las mejores que e comido en los resort. La limpieza y las bebidas originales. Nada de clónadas. La opción de que tú decidas cuánto quieres gastar en tus vacaciones. Muy lindo resort

Omar, our conciere, has helped us countless times while we stayed here from Jan. 1-26, 2028. This is our first trip to Mexico and it has been delightful because of the wealth of information Omar has. But if he doesn’t know, he finds out for us through phone calls. He has even helped us with the laundry service which is a very IMPORTANT part of the benefits of staying here. Myrna, our housekeeper, along with Erika, and many others whose names we do not know are always happy and cheerful. When they finish, the rooms are shining clean, and tidy with the extra benefit of their creative folding artistry on towels and tissues! Juan Rivera, the ceramic-painting artist at the Mayan Palace, REALLY made my stay, Renee, SUPER! I am also an artist of sorts, but Juan is, as some have said, “the Picasso” of Mexico! He is so kind, so helpful, and friendly! The aroma that greets us upon entering the foyer of The Grand Luxxe permeates our entire being and makes us feel so comfortably relaxed! Today, we tried to purchase this aroma named, “Green Bamboo”. We finally found it in the plaza! May we suggest that you offer this for sale in EACH of your towers? It would benefit everyone.
