There are too many negative issues with this app. Crashes often, does not redirect correctly, constantly getting system error message. Just horrible. I don’t typically comment on apps, but this one is the worst. Trying the website is a little bit better, but not professionally done. Knowing this airline is partially owned by India’s tech giant Tata, this is surprising.
I was international traveler with connecting flight of Vistara from Delhi to Ahmedabad, Even though I already had booked ticket which was booked a month ahead, Vistara over booked the flight and I had to be strained on the airport, initially I had my layover at Delhi airport for 8 hours. Due to their internal system problem, I was told that they do not have my ticket, I had to stay on Delhi airport for 16 hours. They first did not give me any flight, after showing my confirm ticket with PNR, and fighting with them, they finally gave me next flight to Ahmedabad in the evening. Note that I was international traveler coming from the journey of 16 hours flight, after that I stayed on airport for almost 16 hours. Their staff was really rude at the airport in Delhi, they told me that we were actually not going to give you ticket to Ahmedabad, they said that you have to be thankful to us that we are giving you ticket, we were actually not going to give, this was told to me because my agent asked for relaxing lounge for me as the compensation of the delay. I had similar experience while returning, They overbooked the flight and my wife’s ticket was assigned to other person. I will never travel in vistara or never recommend friends or family.
The app crashes when seat is selected and later I found I was assigned a seat I didn't select. Also didn't find an option to add the booking into the wallet like other airline apps. There are some of the basic things one needs to take care while creating an app. Please fix these bugs.
The app needs to allow us to change or cancel tickets including allowing us to pay for the charges. For such petty things that can be handled by the customer calling the helpline is a waste of resources it’s possible with most airlines so what not vistara ??? It seems so backdated to not have such a facility online or in the app
This app is a one hard slap in the face. It’s hardly an app, just a wrapper around their website which is also so bad that it competes with Air India on being worse. For almost everything, this app pulls a website which often times out. The app itself also signs out often. I mean this is an airline app that pretty much is useless, it’s not a bank app.
The app is broken at many places. It keeps giving error. Certain things are wired. I’m logged in, I have trips but I have to do is fine my trip and then they’re visible. There’s no check in option from the searched trip option. What’s happening? If I go under check in after I’m logged in I have to feed my PNR for check in.
Clunky & confusing user interface, needs to be at par with IndiGo’s app
The app is clunky, retro, confusing, and feels more like a website and less like an app. IndiGo’s app should be the benchmark in terms of basic UI and functionality. In addition, the CV e-Card absolutely needs to be integrated with Apple Wallet to be at par with the top international airlines.
Constantly crashes, I couldn’t even make an account on my phone because entering my phone number crashes the app. Super slow. Doesn’t even save whatever flights you have so you constantly have to keep entering your PNR. Fire whoever made this app
The app does function okay, but is one of the worst airline apps I’ve ever used. Needs a lot of work to be done to make it better. Considering that this is India’s best airline I hope they soon launch a new app or redevelop this one.
As a flyer - we took somethings for granted. Like you can get all boarding passes in apple wallet; in one click. For Vistara, you have enter your phone; email address; home address; multiple times - per passenger per connection- to download the passes. Sign up pages also designed horribly.
You guys need to fix in your check in , manage booking interface. You’re only providing a web based app it’s pathetic. Why can’t we add boarding pass to passbook? What a waste of paper.
Surprised to see Comapny which owns salt to Super car doesn’t even have decent app TCS and tata IT Dept should be same on this, this is black spot on such this airline they should fire all IT staff and hire young professionals who can developed app in just few days
I can't find the itinerary or booked reservations The Check-in process can't look up reservation Always have to enter every think during mange or check-in No auto-fill for any items It seems to be developed by high school students No thought to user experience Bookings are also not easy. This Is possibly the worst airline app I have ever seen. I really do not believe this app is designed to provide any convenience to passengers. Tata would do its name a favor by removing this app from the App Store. It’s not even worth 1 star.
With all the big name of Tata and code techies in India, this airline could not design a basic app that gives you QR code for your boarding pass. Instead it’s a poor web browser for Vistara’s home page. Pathetic.
Downloaded the app for my recent journey. Some of the features offered in the app are good. But, I would recommend that when a booking is made, it should be available right on the front instead of searching for each time you log in. Also, after checkin, the boarding pass should be easily added to the wallet and the updates have to be made automatically.
I was hoping the recent update would let me select my seats for a flight I already have booked but when I click on the seat I want the app crashes. Fix this and I'll bump the rating up another star.
