I used to log in frequently to check my bill and usage. I would compare last year to this year quite often to see if we were using more or less had and electric, depending on weather. When our budget plan amount went up or down it was good to be able to see what we could change is needed. This app is SO MUCH EASIER! A couple clicks and I can see exactly what I need. Reporting or seeing if there is an outage is right there on the next screen. Editing anything in my profile is just as quick. Thanks you for making my life so much better WPS!
It is very good you have the app, but I didn’t find you have auto payment for credit card. This is the bad thing. You should think about accepting credit card for auto payment in the future. Because using credit card, I can get some percent cash back from the bank. This is the benefit for using credit card. I think many people will prefer to use credit card than bank account.
I almost never write reviews, but paying our WPS bill via the app is much easier and less clunky than doing it online. The UI is attractive and everything I would want from an energy provider. A great early Christmas present.
Once you create an account it automatically makes your account paperless. No warning, No option to continue paper billing. Setting up autopay was equally disappointing. It asks if you want to set up the feature, ( thinking I can pick the withdrawal date) false. It takes it out of your account immediately. It then gives 2 conflicting due dates for the next month. It seems every opportunity to actually manage your account is taken away to ensure WPS reduces its obligation for documentation and guarantees it gets payment immediately. WARNING
The one thing that I wish that this app had was to give the person the ability to go back more than just one year to track usage. I would like to go back to 10 years when I moved into my home and find out about the usage, then comparing to now.
I can only say how happy I am that we finally have an app for our electric bill! It is so much more convenient and easier to pay our bill! And the app allows me to even see our usage and compares it to last years bill for us! Absolutely perfect!
Please only take out one payment, I like it when you give me notice when my payment, WPS is always accurate thank you for being patient during hard times.
The app is so user friendly it almost makes me forget the cost of my bill each month has gone up $70 (give or take) a month despite lower-than-average temperatures and lower usage.
How often do consumers wish for a website that’s easy to navigate, simple to use & straight-forward? Well, that pretty much describes the WPS website. Wish all websites were that user-friendly.
Would have given 5 stars but this app no longer works on my iPhone. iPad is fine but not the phone. Uninstalled 4 times and still nothing. Shut phone off, updated it and nothing, frustrating.
Wow the improvement to view and pay is amazing I like that when my balance hits a certain amount I get an alert Of all the electronic pay systems out there this is Superior no other can compare
I’ve had this app for awhile, but it’s the first time I’ve been asked to review. I like this app, it makes it easy to look up my bill, my usage, and what I pay for things, I wish it would’ve been available sooner.
We were lucky enough to be able to purchase the home of our dreams on a lake we always wanted to be on. WPS is our utility vendor. I love the app so much because it gives me everything I need to know when I’m away.
While using the Wisconsin public service app this month, I went through everything and still could not find a way to access my prior months bills. Maybe the prior bills are unavailable now, so people can’t see how much the price of energy has gone up. I like to compare this months bill with the same time last year.
This app is good but an option to make an automatic payment each month would help both WPS and the user. Payment info is already provided by the user in the app. Then it would truly be “set it and forget it.”
I’ve used other utility apps that you can see your daily usage. This app is pretty much designed for bill paying. And they just started allowing debit card payments. I feel they are pretty slow getting into the game.
About once a month, the app asks me to log in, but it never remembers my saved password. I’m always redoing it. Can this be fixed? If so, it will be darn near perfect. If not, it’s a hassle. Thanks
Login is terrible and notifications are non existent
Every single time I open the app, I have to login. Since FaceID was added (FINALLY) I might not have as many problems. I get zero notifications through the app despite setting them. This has nothing to do with the app but they lied to me about being on tiered pricing. Unfortunately WPS is a monopoly with no competition so c’est la vie.
I’ve been trying to register on this app today and it’s not functioning. This is the second time trying to get this app up and running and I can’t get beyond the basic setup.
The keyboard rotates to landscape mode but the app stays in portrait mode I have tried turning off screen rotation and locking it and all kinds of things. Your tech-support has no idea what is going on. Please fix it, it used to work, now it doesn’t. Update, it still is broken, not able to put any information in.
I don’t like that there is no header or logo anywhere on my app pages or the app setting page. If users step away and pick up the phone later there are no identifiers.
I love the convenience of the WPS app but it don’t accept Visa. That’s the only card I and I can’t just get up and go anywhere bcuz of my leg injury. 😐 I wish you guys would allow it....
Tried to use the app to report a power outage and check status as to when service would be restored and the app was “down for service”. Would rate zero stars if possible.
