You all keep gawking about how it’s malware recording everything you say and sending it to Chinese corporations but you do realize that literally every app on your phone does the same exact thing, especially TikTok, which most people have. if you’re not technologically inept, then you would know it needs to restart your computer once to download it so that the drivers can be installed into your computer correctly. It also works perfectly once you connect it with your IP address. Don’t listen to the other people reviewing that saying that it doesn’t work or that it’s selling your data.
Works good over wifi. I bought subscription so that I could have the feature for higher volume. However, the other feature of adjusting audio quality is useless and not worth the subscription.
I can easily connect it to my computer, I use it for gaming, calls, and other various activities. Just a note to the devs, when you connect it to your computer it says “conneted” not “connected”
Its malware. Ik it sound crazy, but they listen and track key words to sell to advertisers. This wouldn't be too bad EXCEPT it also gives info to some 'less respectable' people. It has also been shown to be a backdoor (a way for hackers to easily get into your computer) in many operating systems. Look it up if you don't believe me. If you still don't care, thats on you.
Works as intended and relatively easy to use. It took me a bit to figure it out at first but I if I could figure it out, most people probably can haha!
They say “no data is collected” this alone is enough to open a lawsuit against the company which I intend on doing. They collect data from when you are talking they use AI to collect key words, honestly depressing how this app made it to the App Store
I downloaded this to use my wireless earbuds with my pc due to my pc not having bluetooth you have to pay to adjust the volume thats like asking me if i would like the drink with no cup and the cup costs extra
When I downloaded the app on my computer it restarted it. Then it wouldn’t turn for over a minute. The second it turned on I uninstalled the app on my pc and my phone. Do the same as well.
This app is unusable without a subscription. The quality you are given without a subscription is utter trash and a dollar store mic will preform better. Not only that but I wouldn’t trust the company.
I was looking for a microphone to use at my Dads house, to no avail. My earbuds wouldn’t pick up my voice, and my headset was breaking down, and at this point, unusable. And after weeks (no exaggeration) of searching for an answer, I found it. It occurred to me that if I could find some sort of way to plug my phone into my computer and use its microphone, I could somewhat be in good shape. This is an idea that is surprisingly scarce in people’s minds, and it took a lot of work to find this app, but boy is it stellar! Not only does it seamlessly connect your iPhones mic to your computer with zero delay, but it doesn’t even require a wired connection! You can choose to connect your phone through Bluetooth, wired (not necessary) or, and this is my favorite, WiFi. I think if there’s one thing I can critique this app for, it would be the slight lack of intuitiveness, but that is only because of how versatile it is. There is a premium feature on the app, which includes volume and quality adjustments, which are not required but are a nice bonus, for only 9 dollars a year! Now, would you rather pay for a 100+ dollar mic that breaks down after 3 years? Or spend around 75 cents a month for an app that does the same thing without wires? And you wouldn’t believe how great iPhone mics are nowadays. If I could give this 6 stars I would, so instead I am recommending this to everybody I know who owns a computer. Great work people, fantastic app.
My headset’s mic broke, so I’m using this on an iPhone with WiFi transfer mode. The Windows PC is connected via Ethernet to a switch which is connected to the modem, while the phone WiFi is connected to an ubiquity mesh WiFi system. Considering that it worked flawlessly first try even with this unusual setup I’d say it’s pretty good. Just make sure to install both the client software AND the driver for it on the PC, and whitelist the program in your antivirus.
This app work well most of the time. I have an old Windows 10 PC, and this app has allowed me to use my iPhone as a microphone for Video Conferencing on the computer. Audio quality is decent for ordinary calls, and the setup process is easy enough. The only issue I faced is that the phone randomly gets disconnected from time to time, which you often won’t find out until you try to speak. It takes just a few seconds to establish the connection again, but this can get quite frustrating if you’re on very long and/or important calls. Despite this sole drawback, this app saved me from having to buy a microphone for my computer for meetings and calls at absolutely no cost, so I would definitely recommend this to you if that’s what you’re looking for.
I wanted to use my iPhone as a discord mic while it’s charging, and it just works as intended. Very easy to setup via wifi, auto reconnect when disconnected to keep audio constant. Can’t find another alternative in the market, this is the to-go app for using phone mic as PC input.
Getting the app to work for WiFi was pretty easy. I have a pc computer and iPhone. Was concerned about compatibility but no problems here. Directions are not as clear for other transport options.
I needed a way to use my iPhone as an input device for my PC, and this was the first thing recommended. I wasn’t sure how well audio over Wi-Fi would work, but I’m shocked! It’s quick and the quality is amazing!
This app is so good, I use this app for fortnite because my mic failed and it’s insanely good. Works with Bluetooth, WiFi and usb. I highly recommend this app to anyone who needs a backup mic.
It didn’t have the necessary options in order to work it, including the transport option for IOS, which means the app is rendered useless. Don’t recommend this one.
Was working perfectly fine. Stopped working, won't even connect. I've tried reinstalling the drivers, rebooting my PC and my phone, renewing lease on WiFi but nothing worked
The instructions for this app insist on using a button called “transport” in the settings cog. It just simply isn’t there. This makes it impossible to set up the app.
I thought this app would be cool since my mic is broken, then I downloaded it because my friend told me about it. I used it in the PS4 party chat, plugged in my usb, and... nothing! Wasted my time
