Worldstrides was great at the beginning of the trip until we were headed back home from scotland (we live in the us). Due to technical issues with the plane, we had a three hour delay for our first flight. This caused us to miss our international flight home. We (a group of 27) were stuck in an airport with our director talking to the staff. Worldstrides did nothing for us. We finally managed to get a different flight, splitting into three groups, but it turns out two people were just forgotten about. They had no flight home. Worldstrides also decided to not pay for checked bags so everyone had to pay 35 pounds to bring the bag that worldstrides had said they would cover. This all happened yesterday and some of us still aren’t even home. I never want to use this again and I hope nobody else does either
