I recently moved back from NC. I could actually purchase power ball and mega millions tickets with my phone. That would be especially helpful now with the covid outbreak.
The one thing a lotto app should do correctly is scan a ticket and let you know if you won. Literally using this function it doesn’t even try to read a barcode and will automatically pop up saying to see a retailer to check the ticket. How this problem continues to persist is non-sense, did they even CHECK functionality before publishing the app to the store. Don’t waste your space until they fix this basic feature.
Lottery app for WV is horrible like others have stated!
All these version histories, and yet they still can’t fix the “Did I Win” option. That’s the main reason why I keep going back to the Pennsylvania lottery because it’s a hassle too scan all your tickets at the machine or retailer when there are other people waiting in line. Which is one feature that the Pennsylvania lottery app has an actually works!
The only problem is that you have to have good light and completely scratched n wipe off the square before scanning. It tells you if your a winner or loser just fine.
Previous reviews stated this has issues trying to read barcodes but I figured maybe they fixed it by now or maybe other users were ignorant with technology but no, this was complete waste of space and time. Every ticket scanned it said to go to the vendor and check. What kinda garbage is this
It would be great to be able to do a sanity check on tickets, but this app produces more ‘see retailer’, and recently ‘connection timeout’ messages than anything else. Other state lottery ticket scanning apps don’t have this issue - maybe it’s time for the developers to reach out to their neighboring states and learn from their experience.
This app is the most useless that I’ve ever experienced. It doesn’t tell you if your ticket is a loser, it just says to see retailer...like it could be a winner...or maybe not...but you should have the professional scanner check for you. I really just want to know if the ticket is a winner or not. WV please fix this app
I get the same thing as another user. The scan feature doesn’t work. It’s annoying and frustrating. I have to keep uninstalling and installing to get the app to work for one ticket. Developers need to troubleshoot ASAP.
Can no longer scan tickets, it shows all drawings as pending and loading. I even uninstalled the app and reinstalled it to check it wasn’t on my end. I’d give it a negative star review if I could.
I updated app because the keno part would just quit working. After update, it just shows results pending across the board. Terrible app. Talk to Maryland. I have no problems with their app.
Fix the scanner. I can’t get any of my lottery tickets to scan. It just says go to a retailer. If I wanted to do that I wouldnt have bothered to download the app In the first place.
Toss a coin on whether the app will scan a ticket. You will have a better chance guessing heads or tails than guessing if this is the time it will actually give you a result.
this app for me and my boyfriend only works once maybe twice if we’re lucky after that all we get is please see retailer what’s the point of using the app if it doesn’t even work
This app stinks! “See Retailer” is its favorite response. It does seem to recognize a winning ticket but fails to confirm losers. WTH? Developer should be embarrassed.
I’m not sure how to express my total displeasure with this app. How in the world do you screw up something that should be so simple to use and update. The Scratch Off ticket section is a complete bust. Not nearly enough information given on the ticket, gameplay, payout stats, etc. The filter option is broken and won’t fully display all the tickets. A really think a 3rd grader could write a better app. Piss poor execution from the app designers, developers and the WV lottery for allowing this app to be published.
