As many have mentioned this app is SKETCHY. It appears legit when you start talking to people but I personally had 2 people try to extort me and get money from me. The thing is- the people doing this aren’t necessarily men posing as women..but young women offering sexual calls on alternative messaging apps, only to record the action and then try to get money via threats of sending the photos/vids everywhere. This attempt happened twice during the few days i used the app. For anyone who doesn’t know; these are real girls, usually working with a team of scammers so it is VERY convincing if you don’t know any better. This app is absolutely dangerous and it should be investigated. Full of extortion/sextortion scams, phishing, and a staggering amount of the people on there are engaged in soliciting pornography of themselves. It is not mostly women, but of the women on there just to meet people- there is questionable intent at best given the environment. This app attracts a lot of bad people with questionable intent. DO NOT USE IT. If you do: DO NOT MESSAGE ANYONE IF THEY ASK TO TAKE THE CHAT TO AN ALTERNATIVE MESSENGER. These people are sociopathic, and the app developers are accountable whether they want to do something about it or not.

First off, the app was boring. It’s hard to break into conversation when the entire chat is screeching about catfish’s. Also, half the users are just 14-16 year old kids with a fake account saying they are 19. The user interface is deceptive, they are constantly pushing pop up “call to actions” in your face telling you to get premium. Every 2 seconds I had to exit out of another pop up. What should have taken 1 click to get to another page took 2-3 clicks. Furthermore, in the sign up process, the last step makes it seem like you need to buy premium to access the app. But there is actually an exit button in the top corner. Wording a CTA to make people think they have to pay for something when they really don’t is slimy. The app overall seems well programmed, nothing felt janky like the other apps do, but whoever the corporate manager for this project is, you are a moron. Do better.

first of all I wanna start by saying this . The app is a really good app when you first start using it however , when you use the more and more and more you notice that a profile will be one way and it turns into another way. For example when I deleted all the messages from anybody that text me and I kept one it was a females picture; but when I went and checked it out it was a man’s profile so I feel like the app is kind of suspicious and then it could be a trap. it’s kind of weird like it’s almost like they try to scam you out of money and it’s kind of creepy because like you text somebody and you might get their number or you ask them what they look like and they send you a picture of what they look like so when you do see what they look like you like oh my God that’s not true that’s not the person that I was just texting but reality it might be the person was sick so I don’t know that’s kind of weird it’s trade

I’ve never written a review for an app before. I’ve never had the time, and usually I don’t care enough to let people know my experience with an app. This one is different. This app’s existence is literally a safety and moral issue. In less than 4 days of being on it, I discovered the public “group chats” the app puts you in by default. My oh my, I have never seen a more disturbing, toxic, and pathetically monitored chat. In that chat were 2 people impersonating other women, one who put a picture of her social security card on his profile. This app is filled with men depraved men who dedicate their time to ruining strangers’ lives they’ve never met. Genuinely disturbing. The creators of this app should be ashamed of themselves, and should never be allowed to put anything on the App Store every again for the rest of their lives. Sick, negligent, disgusting developers. DOWNLOAD MONEY COOL. DO NOT DOWNLOAD MONKEY RUN , this app consists of pedophiles and minors. I have a team of people including myself working on getting the app shut down. it consists of minors & i mean more than half of the users are minors. the other half are selling nude pictures and videos. Yes the minors as well. thats considered child porn so dont risk it. I paid for the weekly premium pass to only talk to females and it didnt work. I was still matching with guys & i only matched with 2 females both from the Philippines. This app is disgusting and a waste of time. its just to steal your money. completely useless. Dont get caught trying to talk to a scammer or a little girl selling nudes. its not worth it. its disgusting. I recommend downloading monkey cool. its a lot safer and more actual people that will talk to you. Monkey run is like a tinder app for kids. its just nasty and its weird how many pedos are actually involved in the daily usage of the app and helps keep it running.

bru ive been usibg this since april 22 it is now MAY 21 AND I CANT SEND MESSAGES TO ANYONE WITHOUT PAYING. i was thinking about paying till i realized it was $8 a WEEK. not a month, but a WEEK thats like 40 dollars a month wasted on a app. if it was monthly i would pay but a week is insane work. i hate that the price is high for week and that it forces u to buy there premium or your forced to get off the app. i do not recommend this app. you cant even search people or scoll freely looking for new ppl cs the amount of bananas you have will dictate how many ppl u can find. ALSO i turned my location off for this app, people could still figure out where i was from and some people said my location wasnt off and they could still see my city and everything, i cant even change it because i have to pay for that too. you cant do anything without premium in this app

it’s a fun app just really annoying when it comes to rules and regulations. the monkey app makes you show your face at all times or it leaves chats mid conversation. that’s extremely annoying. sometimes it does it even if you are showing your face..it’ll still leave randomly. another downside I’ve noticed is that you can’t do much on the app without bananas or premium (which cost money) and you get some hella desperate individuals (and sugar daddies) on the app with very harassing behaviors. soooo if you do end up using the app I recommend not leaving any personal information (phone #s and socials) in your bio (where creeps can further contact you) just a heads up!!!

This app should have a better system to filter out younger kids Because their are inappropriate images every time someone feels the need to show their private areas. I have seen people who had a video of raping kids just showing it off and that is a prime example of what a child may view on accident when they were just trying to have fun. These are the moments a child starts to wonder if that is okay. When they don’t know better they may take into influence what they see as their brain is changing in development. The thought that something like that is real before hearing about it will make them overlook how bad it really is, as that is a common mistake, even, in adults. Isn’t it Sad that kids can’t get in trouble for lying about their age but if they do… the monkey app can’t prove that and it’s completely legal.

This app was used to be the best app ever when it first came out by given a lot of servers opportunities to meet and greet new people and just having a good time. In my experience it helped me some and here’s why? Cause I mostly get numbers from people that lives around my area and I really appreciated it. The things that I didn’t appreciate of are the catfishes and here’s why. Cause when it comes peoples profile, state, country age or giving your number, it’s like they switching u up by lying to you ,trying to expose you and tryna scam u for money especially content and cashapp. I almost got exposed 3 times by fake wanna be people. So whoever's got the app, please think twice before your career is over. I’m not recommending using this app anymore‼️🙅‍♂️

Aside from the app itself, I haven't used it yet, but I see this app has potential. The only complaint I really have is the notification spam. It is VERY annoying. I get about 30 notifications a single hour from this app asking when I will be "Logging on".. well maybe it doesn't ask like that. It's more like "Still not here?" Overall, I like the way things are when I enter the app. I'm giving my rating an overall guess only because I haven't used the actual video feature itself but please fix the notifications. I had to disable them. It's annoying

the first thing I have to say about this app is that there is nothing but a bunch of creeps and weirdos on it asking for n*des, and I think it’s really gross but I always block them, and sometimes there’s even men using a women’s pfp for some reason. I also have a tip if your gonna download the game, if anyone ever asks you for your # don’t give it to them because there most likely catfishing. Something I like about it is when they have Moderation bots in the chats, it makes you feel a lot more comfortable. suggestion: when I’m picking songs for my profile I would like to be able to pick the part of the song I like. thxx, have a nice day 🫶🏽🤍!!

Everything about this app is so perfect you get to chat you just to text you get to call but the only thing I don’t like about this app is when you report someone but you have them as a friend and you block them you can still receive messages from them, which is very strange but I really like this app and you guys just need to improve on that one thing but overall, this is the perfect out to meet new people

It’s a good app and a fun way to meet new people but it’s kinda horrible how you have to pay for so many things. For example video chat you het a limit and then have to pay which is kinda weird because that’s the whole point of that app. Beside that I like it! I think if you guys too Apple Pay or another ways to pay for the premium I would buy it every month. Having more than one payment method would be great!! You guys would make way more money (actually take this into consideration!!!).

It’s a wonderful app where you can speak with random people from all around the world, other humans, talk about random things and just have a great time! I definitely recommend it for anybody who just wants to explore the world and speak with different people and have some great conversations! It’s a pretty useful social tool! I definitely recommend it.

I also feel like they shouldn’t have kids on the app that are 14-16 because they are just not suppose to be on the app and they give fake birthdays and I feel like the app should check their actual birthdays because there be kids lying about they age and not even that age and it just don’t give the kids or the app a good image because if anything the app will be the reason why the females on that app will get raped or kidnapped because they not gone know what to do and I just don’t like this app because of that and I feel like the app could do much better then what it’s doing because it’s just not it right now 💯

I got this app back when it was still silly and recently got it back during Spring Break for fun but it’s nothing like what it used to be. People are trying to make profit off of other people’s explicit pictures by selling them without permission (someone admitted this to me) and I have also gotten more than one message request from profiles that use images of obvious minors posing in explicit ways. I have reported the ones that I’ve seen but I haven’t seen much being done. I genuinely think this app should be taken down because it encourages and helps spread pictures of innocent girls who have no idea what they’re getting into.

App is mostly peopling about their age, people catfishing, people making spam accounts, and you already will 100% see the same person u swiped left on every time u get on the app. AND THEY HAV THE AUDACITY TO ASK FOR $20. Ive never been so quick to like actually really want to cancel a free trial 30 min into trying the app 😂 Ps.I’ve never written a review in my life bc I’ve never cared enough but like this is the remake of the app I used as a younglin back in the day befo it got banned and they did my child hood app vile. This app is the only app I actually like now. Instagram kinda became toxic and the same stuff. sc got boring . This app is actually fun u meet random ppl and its also like tinder too and you can message and have group chats It should have a way to verify profiles so that you know they are real though . Like send in a photo of you holding a fork or doing certain hand symbols

I would say it’s a super good happiness to learn about people find new people I’ll talk to new people I made a lot of new friends on here and it’s a great app to learn new things about people also if you get bullied on here just block them because there’s a lot of people but they just like bullying people for no apparent reason

This app is so restrictive and Soo many rules even if youre not doing or saying anything sexual or violent they block out and prohibit almost everything the rules they have on this app is so bad that you not even supposed to give out your number😑 there is no other app out there that’s like that .. luckily there’s a way around the number thing .. so with that being said if you gonna download this app to meet new ppl n bored do what everyone else do just get they’re number and just text them off of your phone , and make groupchats that way that’s the best tactic I’ve seen work on this

the app is really fun except I have been using this app for a few months and i got banned off video chat i contacted support and they unbanned me in about a day like 3 days after i got banned from chats i’ve contacted support many times giving them time in between to see my request even putting my email but they still haven’t unbanned me and it’s been months and i haven’t done anything to get banned.

The first thing I don’t like about this app is trying to pick my birthday and it wouldn’t let me do it and it kept selecting this month this day and 2003. The second reason I don’t like this app is because I have to pay extra to talk to a specific gender! I’ll start paying for stuff when your app gets good! The third reason I don’t like this app is because the profile pictures I was trying to select them and your app is picking and choosing which ones I can post even though none of them are inappropriate and they’re all of my faces!! This app is a joke and should be deleted!

Prior to me using this app i was offered a free 7 day subscription to use all premium stuff after getting the subscription and cancellation the same date i get a notification saying my bank is chariging me $7.99, so originally i look into what’s trying to charge my account & it’s this app I put in a report to apple saying this app is trying to charge my account even though my subscription ends on the 15th of July so beware when they offer a subscription they might try to charge you for a subscription even after cancellation.

I honestly rate this app a 8/10. It has no adds! But whenever you go the the page where you look at all the people it does a pop up with no x with leaves you with only the option to press the pop up it’s so annoying. 2nd when you block people it allows them to still text you! Other than that I totally recommended 😘!

Y’all should add a feature that doesn’t completely delete text threads & doesn’t let people whose text thread you deleted be unable to text you again where you can open the conversation in the app.. that’s weird because even if you block someone on the app, they’re still able to text you.. fix this.

Every user that is on this app is sexually getting with each other. It says this app was designed to socialize with other peers in reality. This is a disgusting app. Within five minutes I found 20 minors on this app lying of their age. That is absolutely disgusting and I wonder after I report that user what happens to the account - does it get a warning or does it get banned? Either way it should be asking for an ID if something like this is happening were minors is easily having access to stuff like this. Dreadful that’s all I can say.

App basically pushing features in your face you can’t access without paying. Also sends you pointless notifications that serve no purpose other than to get you in the app app, such as saying how there are a lot of people online. The worst part is that I would like to be notified if I get a message but the only notification setting on the app is for messages which means you can’t turn off the annoying notifications without turning off all notifications for the app.

There are very much predators on this app. I am not okay being harassed by old men and such type people. I would please appreciate if you could check who is on these apps and figure out how we can stop this. This is not okay, and I think you should be doing something about this before someone gets murdered or killed. Also, I see a lot of kids on this app seeing very inappropriate things. I used to use the original monkey app religiously to make new friends and whatever else came along. This is slightly different, theres no adding time or friend request button. I like it just as much maybe even a little better. Ive been using it for some time now and i rate it 9/10. Entertainingly good.

The share personal information like a number or Instagram or Snapchat but anything else now only them three should be allowed to share information but anything else now that would be a good update though if y’all could do that that would be a good update

I was lost before I downloaded the monkey app. I didn’t know what to do with myself, but then I found monkey and he changed my whole perspective. I’ve met the love of my life three times on monkey and honestly I will wake up eat sleep and breathe monkey. Thank you to whoever made this app you are truly loved.

I’m now a paying customer fix the swipe and text area I I’m seeing men I understand that you can’t fix it completely but give me options there what would I like to see I already put women on the video area so I would assume that it would be automatic and both would be the same but I’m seeing even more men then before I started paying and this is urgent

This app is great but for unlimited FaceTime with different people you have to pay and if not you can’t do it anymore for a while I miss how it used to be and I don’t think we should be paying to FaceTime random people I think it should be how it used to be

I like the app so far i just realize that a lot of times if one person comes after you about something like your appearance then the whole group with all follow up and come after you. I don’t really like that but at the end of the day we long we your not participating in that then I guess it’s fine. There is some really nice people on the app also.

I enjoy meeting new friends on this app. I have made some great friends with people I have met on Monkeyrun. This app is fun and is very entertaining for anyone 18+. I get to be on here talk to my friends is a cool app Was very fun to get to talk to who you want to talk to. I definitely recommend people around 20 should be on the app instead of kids but I’m glad that I have it and I use it sometimes to talk to people or my friends, so yeah, I like it.

This app is good but whenever you buy for me, a lot of people won’t text you anymore when I first got the app people were texting me really fast a lot of people text me, but whenever I downloaded the things that said I couldn’t text anymore and bought the thing where you can have a limited DM’s no one text me anymore and I had to text people so it is a scam

***WARNING*** this app moderates the video logs by spying on you with employees. It’s extremely creepy…. So I talk to somebody recently that used to work for these guys as a moderator from home. He said he literally used to just sit there and watch girls get naked and then kick off all the guys for nothing and proceeded to laugh about it. Like kicking them off for having a shirt off. This place is full of moderators that are creepier than the ones on discord. They have young MEN WATCH YOU GIRLS.. if that doesn’t say enough fun enjoy yourself on the app.

Full of scammers, I’ve had a few try to bait and blackmail me with false pictures. This app is dangerous. Lots of people trying to scam you or sell inappropriate images, some claiming to be underage too which should be regulated better. Overall, this app is not regulated well for safety and you should be very strict on this app with your data and who you talk too. Do not, whatever you do or however someone seems, give out social media or a phone number.

I was on this app, and there was this really suss person telling me to show under my shirt and I’m girl and that’s offensive and they were a boy and some people show their d word and if they put eggplant please, I beg you to delete them off the app instantly

I’ve been using the app for 4 months, at first the app was good you were able to text people for free and there was no problem. During June they had changed it to were you need to pay to do the basic functions. Now that I have paid no one is respond and for every message I send to someone I have to watch an ad even though I paid for premium. So if you ask you the devs got money hungry and made a good app worst.

I loved the app , didn’t care about what happened there but this new update made the invite colors restricted to the premium which was not a nice move , i deserve my colors back since i invite 5 friends to it , idk if it’s a bug but please let them be without premium
