Excellent Worldwide Raid App
I’ve tried a couple pokémon go apps for raids and this is my most favorite, by far. It’s easy to use. For the part, other trainers are good about quickly adding you to their friend lists and starting raids quickly. Occasionally, you get a troll. Though, I’ve realized sometimes it’s new ppl using the app that do not understand how to successfully conduct a raid. Instead of explaining this is the issue, they’ll simply leave the raid room. It can be frustrating. Especially, if you recently joined and purchased coins. You will lose the 50 coins you used to Auto Join the raid if the trainer botches the raid. Now that i check in daily and have accumulated heaps of coins, it’s not as bad of a loss. Coins: if you check in everyday for a week, you get a 5-25 coins per day. On day 7 you get 50 coins. if you continue to check in daily, you get 50 coins every day. If you miss a day checking in, it starts over from day 1. it’s a fantastic perk~worth a daily check in. All in All? It’s an excellent app. If you want to make friends for long distance gifts, they have a room for that. I’m there for raiding usually from midnight to 5am when there are none going on in my country. I highly recommend PokeRaidApp!

Could be better
Be aware that there are either bots who will never start the raid or inexperienced people who botch things up and not invite everyone in the raid, or do the raid with people who showed up and no one in your group gets invited. There are times where the host forgets to or is too lazy to close the raid group after it has started, and once it’s finished and people leave, you run the risk of getting placed into a completed raid by the auto join feature. Some tips: You can use the same raid pass if you lose as long as it’s the same raid. If you can’t move just restart and rejoin, sometimes it asks you to buy another raid pass but you will only use the one you already activated. Also if it prompts you to use a regular pass instead of a remote pass, just restart the game and try to join ASAP. Lastly, pay attention to the host ratings, I wouldn’t join anyone’s raid with less than 4 stars As far as I know, you will not be refunded coins even if it’s wasn’t your fault that you were not invited. We gotta be able to dispute this so we don’t just keep losing money without being able to do raids.

Wasted my money, big scam/waste of remote pass
So you have to pay for coins in order to even join these raids first off, which is stupid and profitting off of the Niantic’s community’s hard work. Next let’s talk about the queue they make you wait in after you have already given them your money. Example, to join an Uxie raid I waited from 1am my time in a 8,000+ person queue, finally at 6am I am down to 35, and then the app bugs out, kicks me out, and when I rejoin I’m waiting after 3000+ more players again. Then we’ll talk about how you loose money. Well out of 5 raids THAT I HAVE PAID TO JOIN, I’ve gotten in 2. Meaning I’ve thrown away the other money it took to get through those nasty, long queues just to get ignored or have the raid end in 1 minute, or the whole group won’t join and there’s not enough to carry so we inevitably loose and loose our pass. Finally we’ll talk about the rating system. This system could save the entire app, not allowing people with bad ratings to participate as often. Instead, you rate someone who screwed you or insulted you poorly, and then they keep getting to ruin other people’s experience. These ratings should be what is determined as to whether people get charged or not, or make sure everyone gets to complete the raid. There are many improvements this app needs. It is a great concept, but with many greater flaws. DO NOT download this, do not waste your time in never ending queues, and DO NOT PAY THEM A DIME.

Tech is a mess! Hosts often don’t send invites.
The raid rooms appear in a list with”waiting for guests” or “raid full”. You have to click on the open raid and in the slim chance the room is not already full, you have milli-seconds to click join raid at the bottom of the screen. Most of the time it will tell you the room is full. Occasionally it will let you join a room where the raid has already started Or even finished. It appears that if someone leaves the raid (like when they beat the boss), the computer sees an opening and puts the room back in the que. This is very frustrating, so you eventually buy coins so you can auto join. I have had 7 successful raids that were great. However, I have had 4 failed attempts at raids. I sent the friend requests, and the hosts never invited me to the raid. Another time I made it into the battle only to find that there were only 4 trainers total (for a mega). Invites failed to go out to half the room. A minute in everyone dropped out. I got my raid pass back, but the Poke Raid Coins were waisted. Save your TIME and frustration. Look elsewhere.

Lots of room for improvement
I download this app to help join raids in other regions of the world where only certain raids were being offered. I coughed up $1 to use the auto join feature because I was wasting too much time trying to manually join a room. Every time I would hit the refresh button 20 to 50 times then finally see a room that was open and had some space, I was never quick enough to get into the raid before somebody else jumped in ahead of me. I used the auto join feature and waited in line for about 20 minutes before a room became available. The worst part was that I could not navigate away from the app or close my phone down I had to sit there and keep my phone awake for the entire 20 minutes otherwise I would lose my place in line. The app seriously needs a way to alert me when my place in line is getting near and allow me to navigate away from the app. It would be awesome if the app was smart enough to notice the rate that the line is moving and give me a two minute warning when my place is almost up. Anyway, I finally joined a room for 50 coins and the person never invited me to the raid so it was all a big bust. There is no way to recover lost coins so it feels like a big rip off. It’s a good idea for an app, but there’s lots of room for improvement.

Amazing and I just got it!
First of all this app is Amazing! I’ve hosted 2 raids so far and it’s a smooth experience, only takes like 10 minutes at the most! Definitely like helping people out so if I can host a raid 4 times that’s 4 x 5 people and that’s 20 people I can help do the raid! Also joined a mega Salamence also a smooth experience and the host was nice enough to help me figure out a couple things like what “AnR” means or how to review the host! Overall a fast experience and nice people so I’ll be using this app for years to come! (They also have a part where you can add others for Scatterbug all around the world!) Will edit if necessary Edit: I forgot to add that it’s also great for making friends and getting gifts! Always low on poke balls so this is amazing Edit 2: After using the app for about a month I’ve encountered a few fake rooms and the hosts are trolls, but it’s not really hard to figure out that and just leave. Still a pretty smooth experience and will continue using!

Good concept but not transparent about in-app purchases
I love the concept but had a very bad experience the first time I used it. I couldn’t join any raids using the “free” feature, so I paid for coins to auto join. The app added me to a raid that had already concluded, and there was nothing I could do. I sent feedback but still don’t know if I will get my coins back. A very frustrating first experience. Downgrading to 1 star. I turned on the auto join feature after paying 3.99 for 500 coins. It added me to one raid that was already over. I the. successfully did a second raid, and then I somehow got added to two more raids without my knowledge, and I am now out 200 coins. This is a rip off. I don’t think the developer is a fraudster, but the design is so poor and there is no control. I feel robbed of 150 coins. Upgrading to 3 stars because their customer service is responsive. They really should have a pop up before you take an action that costs coins. I was quickly down 200 coins because I didn’t at first understand how the auto join feature worked. I was confused and took a series of actions that resulted in debits to my coin balance, but I had no clue that I was doing something that cost coins.

Nice try.. impossible to use
8/10 times all the raids that pop up after refreshing are completely full.. the other two times the raid is full after you click on it. I have been attempting to use this app for weeks but i have NEVER gotten into a single raid from the general home menu. The only times i managed to get in a raid is through the search raid function. i got the coins waiting a whole week using the app everyday (or you can buy coins... DONT) finally i was able to search the raid i wanted and of course there was not near enough hosts... i was number 400 in a queue. I decided to wait a few days for a different raid, when i finally got in, it was all level 20s, i wasted a raid pass i had paid for. Fast forward another week of not being able to normally join the raids and building up the free coins i searched for another raid only for the host to not invite anybody, i had to wait another week if i wanted to join any raid off this app for free. If you decide to try out this app you need good internet connection to get a spot in a lobby and a lot of patience. i would never suggest to buy the coins as theres no guarantee youll get all the way through the raid youre searching for. Just find a raid discord, you can get in the raid you want without having to pay.

Frontliner Host Rewards tysm
Achieving a high host rating in PokeRaid rewards the user with credits to earn gift cards in which they can spend however they please. I have a 4.64 rating currently hoping for a 4.9 or higher overtime but with this in mind, you get users of Pokeraid joining your raids and helping you clap 3-5 star raids in which you might not be able to handle as a solo; and also earn credits for successful and positive host sessions. Always make sure to wait until everyone (or at least 90% of users add you) to invite everyone AND make your guest count “10” users; including your gyms team and if it’s weather boosted or not, people appreciate this very greatly and will increase your chances of becoming a frontliner. (From a business perspective I shouldn’t be giving out information like this bc then I lose out potentially on some store credits but it’s fine because I work hard to make the people happy and in return I become fulfilled and more successful overtime.) stay blessed and RAID ON!

Great app if you’re patient
I highly recommend this app. I’ve been using it to find raids for a while. Out of the 20 or so raids I’ve done, I’ve only ever lost one (one person didn’t join in time). I don’t have too much to say, everything works great. The process of joining and inviting people to raids is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. One thing I would like to note is that you do not have to pay money to join raids. Yes, you can pay to get in a queue, but if you keep trying manually, you will be able to join a raid without waiting in line. It can be hard to get a spot, especially when it’s for a raid like Mewtwo on the first day, but it IS possible. You just need a bit of patience and luck. Your experience may vary depending on your internet speed. With that being said, if you can afford coins, it probably isn’t a bad idea to support the developers since alternatives to this app aren’t great.

Effective but expensive
Raid organization mechanics have been well thought-out and the end result is a very user-friendly raid coordination experience. On the downside, this app takes the cake for the most extreme “nickel and dime“ approach I have ever experienced in any app. The price (in “coins”) for doing anything beyond the very basic essentials is obscene. I’m actually surprised I have not yet come across “Want to breathe? 50 coins”. The developer really needs to step up the amount of functionality available in the “free” version to something worthwhile. After all, they ARE collecting ad revenue from those annoying banners. One can bypass those ads for…you guessed it…an insane amount of coins. But even then, you will still be nickeled and dimed for selecting any parameter beyond the very basic offering, every single raid. This developer reeks of greed, almost as much as Niantic. Bottom line, there needs to be a “premium” version that bypasses ads and delivers full functionality—and for a reasonable price. I think that would make this app the #1 go-to app for raid coordination. Until then, PokeNav-enabled raid servers on Discord is still the better option in my mind.

Bugs and glitches and low leveled players.
When I first got this game I loved and played it all the time but now whenever I open the app it usually only shows 2 raids at a time and others disappear all the time. There are a lot of low level players around level 20 who always get in first and a lot of moderately high level people can not join the raid because there is a level 22 person in the raid room. And I know that you can waste your coins to make it higher level people joining the raid, it costs 100 or 50 to activate it. I feel like low level players shouldn’t be allowed to join other peoples raids until they are at least level 30+. Another thing is that level 30 people all together in a raid will most likely defeat a raid boss Pokémon depending on what it it. Thus the game developers should do some research. So basically they should fix the bug where there are only 2-3 raid rooms at a time and they should be strict on low level players so a lot more players can have fun enjoying the game and do research on the raid boss Pokémon that is out.

Good app, but opportunistic for your money
To be clear, I have never had a problem with this app and use it faithfully…until now. It’s designed so the most rarest or sought out Pokémon only acquirable through them if you become a member and or buy coins from them, It was fine at first until they actually started restricting Pokémon to only members because it was “limited by region”. But there’s always limited Pokémon per regions (northern hemisphere vs southern for instance, world events in other cities, etc…and they never have the membership requirement. But now that there’s a poke that everyone wants and it’s talking about there’s a membership requirement for it and on their app they state it’s because it is limited. basically they’re using Niantic’s release of necrozma , as a way to raise their profits because they know it will be highly sought out. However, in the same statement, they said that it’s only for “a while” but don’t share how long that is. However, other than that, it is a good app.

Don’t listen to these reviews
Yes sometimes you have to use coins to “auto-join” raids. But most of the time it’s pretty simple to get into them without having to. It really depends on how sought after the current five star Pokémon is. For the most part I’ve spent at most $10 on coins, but have completed an upwards of 20 raids. And even then, the daily rewards are quite easy to rack up. Even on days you don’t join a raid, you can get 5 coins for your first login, then 5, 10, 10, 20, 20. And on the 7th day you get 50, and if you keep logging in every day it counts as your 7th day in a row logging in. Maybe I’m missing something but the other people that left reviews seem to have no idea what they’re talking about and are simply mad about user error. This app has made Pokémon go so much more fun for me and the service they bring is extraordinary.

New update killed “host a raid” process!
As the title suggest it is no longer a smooth and easy process to get a “full” raid room in a short amount of time. Ever since the new update I have encountered waits of 15-25 mins to fill up a raid room of 5 people + myself as the host. Prior to the update I would host a raid and have 5 individuals ready within the blink of an eye. I don’t know what you all did but it needs to be fixed. I should not have to wait 15-25 mins as a host for 5 people. This is ridiculous and you’re doing a disservice for the PokemonGo community. - Also I would like to add that I attempted to manually join any raid group for the same Pokémon (Latios) manually without auto-join assuming it would be easy and explain why there was such a long wait to find 3-4 people for my raid group that I attempted to host and found it next to impossible to join as a raid group would appear and fill up within seconds. Something is very wrong. How can it take 15-25 mins to unsuccessfully fill my raid group I’m hosting then find it impossible to manually join a raid group for that same Pokémon?????!!! Very disappointed.

Poorly developed, Lazily coded
I’m not going to write too much, but basically if you try to join any legendary raid and you aren’t using their “auto join” feature, you can’t get in. If a raid says 4/5 people, you may as well ignore it because by the time you tap it, someone will have auto joined their way in. Guess what? The only way to use auto join is with coins. You get these coins by, you guessed it, paying money. You can also host raids and get coins, and I currently have no complaints with hosting, but in the TINY off chance a raid room isn’t full, it says I’m too low level, as if it matters that I’m a level 34. Speaking of that, the way you update your profile is ridiculously inefficient, and doesn’t even work anymore. When I first verified my account, I was a level 33, and now I’m level 34, but can’t update my profile because for some reason it can’t see the HUGE number that clearly says 34, and says to make sure it’s in the screenshot. So that’s my rating. If you’re reading reviews and you see this, I highly suggest a non pay-to-play app.

Actually a 1 Star
You’ll just need money to buy the Special PokeRaid thing to get into the good raids. Any of the bottom raids that no one goes in, are practically free and unused, but when it comes to raids that are special for example, The Creation Trio, also known as Dialga, Palkia and Giritina. These Pokémon are on the “Special” chart and you’ll need to but the Special PokeRaid in order try to go into one (also if you try and Auto Join). It’s a possibility to join for free but it’s almost taken because of the Auto Join. Just like Go Raid Party, you’ll need to spend money in order to go into the raids faster if you even wanna be in one. (Again, going for stronger Pokémon like The Creation Trio, you’ll need the Special Pass in order to enter in a lot of them). Would not recommend in all honesty.

Pay to win
To be quite honest with you this has been the most disappointing 5 hours I’ve experienced in a long time. After waiting an hour for my account to verified, I had the pleasant discovery of learning how much of a pain it is to get into a raid lobby. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I found a raid room woth 1/6 or 1/11 or 2/11 people I would join in and try to join the team just to find out that a bunch of people with the auto-join people had joined it. And I might leave that menu empty for 2-3 minutes but when I wanted to join it it would randomly refresh and suddenly 8 people would appear. I tried it with the thundurous, rayquaza, and a swellow raid to see if maybe a non legendary would be like easy just to but completely and utterly disappointed that no in fact I basically need to shell out 25 US dollars for a chance at a chance of joining a raid group for a chance of battling a raid pokemon and a chance of catching said pokemon. I’m not sure if it was great before but it certainly feels like a waste of space now.

Kind of a scam?
The app does what it’s supposed to do, and I’ve caught a ton of legendary Pokémon from it, but my only complaint, and it’s a big one, is that this app literally eats your money. You need to buy in app currency to join raids and you need to wait in a queue before you can open Pokémon go to join the raid. That’s all good and dandy, anybody would expect that. However if you leave the app for any reason while your waiting in the queue it uses up your in app currency, I mean if you switch apps for a second you need to rejoin and you’ve lost the money you just spent, if your low battery banner pops up you need to rejoin the queue and you’ve lost the money you just spent, if the app bugs out you need to rejoin and you’ve lost the money you just spent. I’ve lost a lot of money without realizing this. I still use the app mainly because I’m addicted to Pokémon go and don’t know any other raid apps and again I like the layout and the app does what it’s supposed to do in terms of getting you into raid battles.

Review from a host
I’ve used this app to host over 300 raids and it works very well. You can knock out raids with up to 10 other players, and it’s a quick & easy process. As a host, you can select minimum level or minimum rating requirements, which I really appreciate. The guests have a great option to wait in a queue to “auto join” raid types. This makes the waits fair when everyone is trying to get into a raid for a new release. The only complaint I have is the “kick player” function. Hosts with ratings above 4.5 should be able to kick players without needing other votes. I constantly have to waste my time asking 2 other players to kick non-responsive players. Update this feature and this app will be truly excellent.

Amazing app for coordinating raids
This app came around at the perfect time and helps a ton when trying to find the last few raids, especially with the new collection challenges. Their support so far has been amazing as well, so on the rare occasion that the raid leader abandons the group or is a troll that leads to wasting coins on an auto-join, they have refunded the coins within a couple days. Most recently, I was unable to do a raid as Pokémon Go itself was not allowing me to use the raid pass and tried to use a normal raid pass which obviously wouldn’t work. This wasn’t even a problem with PokeRaid, but the team still refunded my coins as a way to help me out. Such a great service and team of people.

Good App - Overloaded with Users
Look PokeRaid is good and easy to use. I’ve been happy with the opportunities I’ve had to catch some nice Raid bosses. However, it’s become well known and overcrowded. Raid sniping has become increasingly difficult to do and almost impossible during peak/surge raid times. I’ve once spent 20-25 minutes trying to snipe a raid spot and even when I selected the raid I wanted to enter (with status saying 1/10 trainers in raid room at the time I tapped the room) it told me raid room is full. So options are quit/delete the app, keep sniping with the hopes you get incredibly lucky and secure a spot, or wait in a line of 6,000+ trainers in auto-join which could take literal hours to do so. IDK I’m kinda tired of competing with crowds on this app. Wasting time sniping is literal minutes/hours lost in my day - maybe time to find the next best app for this and let the masses fight over spots in raid rooms on PokeRaid.

Awesome, but needs severe fixes
This app at first seemed like an awesome idea. I even managed to catch a Pokémon that wasn’t in my region. Unfortunately, the amount of time spent to do this is exhausting. I had my phone waiting for almost 12 hours today because I was in an auto join l, not even the manual. Once I finally got into the raid (after eleven hours) I didn’t manage to catch the Pokémon, meaning all that time was wasted for nothing. The worst part was that if this app was fixed, I could have waited at most an hour and lost, which would have been perfectly fine with me. Overall, this app has a great idea but they can’t seem to monopolize on it because they are either lazy or don’t know how to properly incentivize the users in order to get them to host raids. Also, the auto join addition to this app has absolutely ruined it. It is impossible to join a raid unless you spend in app coins to auto join, where it puts you in a line of over 15,000 people. Fix your app please.

Good app...for the most part
This app works great if you’re committed in finding a raid room. Sometimes I spent a good while refreshing rooms to enter a raid and for them most part, it’s effective. You get to use the coins you accumulate to auto join raids which is cool. Now for the most annoying part of this app: raid hosts. Sometimes you enter a raid thinking you’re in for a specific Pokémon, and it turns out to be another. Sometimes raid hosts don’t answer messages, or they add you in PoGo but they don’t invite you to raids. Sometimes you have to wait 15 minutes for a host to show signs of being alive. Sometimes they forget to close rooms. Sometimes they won’t add everyone in the room. It’s a waste of time. I strongly suggest an update where we can review and rate a host and the raiders, just so we know who that we’re pairing up with a decent group.

Useful to raid but can’t confirm weather boost
If you’re hosting a raid, this is awesome. Can usually depend on at least 3-4 to actually join the raid with you, but often all 5 invitees join the raid. Very useful if raiding by yourself and need to get help quick. If you’re trying to join someone else’s raid, it can be difficult to get into a raid room because there’s so many users on the app now. The wait times can be quite long, upwards of 30+ minutes before you get into a room during peak hours. Otherwise, still very useful, especially when the raids aren’t active in your region anymore due to the hour of the night. My biggest feedback is there must be a way to confirm that raids are actually weather boosted. Some trainers lie about it being weather boosted, and we get tricked into wasting our raid passes, which we spent money on to use. m0rb1u5scuni is one such user who lied about a raid being weather boosted and everyone in the room was incredibly frustrated about this false information which we only knew after it was completed. Please integrate coding to be able to verify the weather boost before we use our passes please! I’ll give it 5 stars because it’s actually a genius platform that just needs more development.

App is frustratingly unresponsive
Trying to host a raid has been the most frustrating app experience i have had in a long time. The app refuses to verify my Azelf raid screenshot even after manually entering the pokemon name in the proper spot. And just to get to that point is frustrating. The app asks you to select pictures for the app to access, but the selection screen doesnt automatically upload it. I have to select it, then hit ok, then pull it up and deselect it, then do that again, and then the third time i allow the photo to be used, it finally lets me upload that photo to the app... which then proceeds to get stuck in a perpetual “verifying screenshot” screen. I waited 10 minutes for the screenshot to verify even though it says it may take up to a minute, and it just never happened. Whats the point of asking me to manually enter the pokemon name if it cant read the screenshot, but then making the app verify the god dam screenshot anyway?

Horrible support team
Just to get in a raid you have to pay for coins in order to even join these raids first off, which is stupid and profiting off of the Niantic'swork. So I pay the 50 coins for the auto join and it gives me like a 10 hour wait time. After waiting all that time I don’t get invited. Well the app says that they’ll refund you your coins if you don’t get in. They do not refund your coins. I used the feedback section on the app to ask for a refund. And here’s what the support team says “Thank you for reaching us. We have received your feedback, please respond to this e-mail if you have further feedback or questions.” HOW DOES THAT HELP WITH ANYTHING. Not only did I sit waiting for a Darkrai raid for 10 hours I don’t even get a refund. On top of that they flat out lie about giving you a refund. Don’t expect the support team to help. Helen Keller is more helpful then the support team

Don’t waste your time downloading this app
The premise is simple enough pick which Pokémon you would like to raid and if the room is not full your in or you can auto join for 50 poke coins. Then after auto join the host of said raid wants you to send them a friend request in the actual game that once done they will accept and there you go your in the raid room. Disclosure when it says your in it means your in the messaging screen not the actual raid. It is at the discretion of the host who accepted your friend request as to wether they invite you to compete in the actual raid. If they do not invite you then no raid and apparently no refund on the coins used to auto join too. Who wants to spend 50 poke coins to auto join a raid room where they never actually get to do the raid. I made the mistake last night and now am out 50 coins without ever actually getting to do the raid I auto joined

Nice but need improvements
The app is really nice for those looking for raids that aren't common or in their area at all. I live in a small city where the raids aren't that great. However this app does need some improvements. One of the things that is in need of serious improvement is when the auto join coins are taken. Instead of taking it out as soon as you join a room the developers should change that from when you join to when the raid is completed. I have joined several rooms through auto join and had my coins wasted by people who advertise the wrong raid, and by people who fail to invite. Auot joined a Mewtwo raid with my last 50 coins, and the raid host never started the raid. They added people but never invited the group. So everyone's coins were wasted.

This is reason why this app is unreliable
I have used this app time and time again and at some points it has been working. However after taking some time on the app, as time went on I have found a lot of cons and very little pros such as not being able to join any raid whatever the tier may be it forces you to use coins in game just to auto join a raid that may take 1 hour when the word auto means automatic, also when playing this I realized that even when you do find a raid that says 1/11 when entering it changes to 10/11 allowing time for the screen to hold you there thinking your joining when you are really not, after seeing this I have realized they are trying to copy Pokémon Go’s success and get a quick buck, I know this one comment won’t change anything but please at least look into the app and think about it before just settling and ask “is it really worth it a waste of time.”

Great app but...
I love the app and have been using it almost since its release but with the most recent update it bars certain level trainers from joining a room becuase there level is too low. personally for me this is a big problem i have done upwards of 60+ raids and have only ever failed if one or two people just outright leave. Im level 33 and can more than handle the legendary raids but due to the most recent update i cannot join raid rooms if there are other level 30s in it which is a big problem. it makes the app almost entirely unusuable unless i spend money to auto join raids.

money sink
so i've been playing pokémon go for a bit and i mean a bit and this app while functional is not very practical while playing remotely. and i mean everyone's gotta get their own bag and whatnot. but ideally this is a poorly executed communication app, as a free to play player you sit there and refresh the screen hopefully you can get an open raid and when one pops up you find out it's been auto filled. so your forced to refresh again hoping for an open raid. what's auto fill? oh i'm glad you ask it's a pay to use feature that the utilitizes so if you pay your guaranteed an open spot. yeah it's only 5$ but that's not the concept we already have to worry about pokémon go increasing the price yet again for remote raid passes not to mention limit them. but wait you can earn daily coins so you can do 1 auto join a week if you log in every day a week (if it isn't bugged) so you can then finally join those raids you want. in all honesty i would be happier with more adds and less purchases. but who am i but one person. my point is this app has very little use unless you pay for the extra services. if you don't live near a gym you can't really use this app unless you do

Campfire killed PokeRaid
I was someone who used to host a lot of raids here with no problems. Since niantic released the campfire app to find raids within the game, this app has been unusable. Not enough people will join the raids now, 1-2 people sitting in 10 different rooms instead of forcing people into one room at a time so at least someone could do a raid. queuing time is longer because of this and people back out or don’t join the raid when it starts leaving my host rating to go from 5 stars to 4.5 in a matter of days. I don’t think booking needs it’s own slot. Booking could be lumped in with rooms. And the best thing left in the game, the friendship finder for vivillion is hidden away in the setting tab. People are hardly even using that feature anymore, so I doubt I’ll have this app much longer. It was a good run though. Gg everyone

Successful and Decent
These other negative reviews may stem from people who don’t like to be mildly inconvenienced, but I had just downloaded this app an hour ago and was able to successfully join 3, 5-star legendary raids without money coming out of my pocket other than in the actual game Pokemon GO (for remote raid passes). I was even able to catch a shiny Thundurus! The only downfall of the app that others are saying is that it is very tedious to get into a raid without others already auto-joining. So you have to be fastidious in refreshing and mashing every raid you want to attempt to join! I find this a part of the thrill and even though it’s somewhat annoying, hey, you’re getting free raids without leaving your home!

Great but could use some improvement.
Honestly the concept and the app itself is amazing, but it could use some fixes throughout the experience. One thing that I have noticed in the app is that a lot of the time it shows closed raids I find that rather inconvenient to the experience. If you were to only show the open raids I’d think and I bet many others think that would make the app better. For the auto join if you are to make it fifty coins to use I would at least make the daily gifts a little more but to the people who say that’s bad EVERY GAME HAS IN APP PURCHASES DEAL WITH IT! Overall the app is very helpful and is great. Thank You.

Just used for the first time and I love it!
I love how you can refresh and filter raids with spots available. It is easy to navigate. I have never beat a top tier raid but with PokeRaid it made it possible! Yes you do have to be quick on the draw to join a “raid room” before it fills up but it’s honestly worth it when trying to take down a raid you really want. And I absolutely love being able to host a raid. I post it up on the app with a screenshot, and boom! It fills almost automatically and it is up to me to orchestrate the invites. With this app, my girlfriend and I will never miss another big raid boss! Thank you PokeRaid!

Amazing!!
It is the perfect way to join raids from home. I have used it a lot because I really don’t play with friends and this is a good way to make some! It is an easy way to catch legendarys and other Pokémon that you may want that are in raids. I think that there should be more ways you can earn Raid coins like maybe through the raid battles or something? Over all, this app is amazing!! I’ve noticed that there is a bug with the Lugia raid where it is always telling you, the raid room isn’t strong enough. I don’t know what happened but I’d be grateful it was fixed please?

Very helpful and good for what it’s used for
This app is very helpful for rural or young Pokémon go users. If you can’t access raids and don’t have much friends that play this app is amazing! It allows you to become friends will other people, which gives xp, and you can get gifts, but also you get get more raid invites and invite high level people to raids. The other feature/main feature is really helpful in finding raids too! Although can be a bit hard to get in sometimes. Amazing app, if you want more friends and raids definitely download the game.

Great when it works—horrible when it doesn’t
What’s great about this app? Host raids and instantly get guaranteed participants. Raid locations all over the world. Virtually meet people from all over the world. What’s horrible about this app? The people who abuse it. From people who write offensive things in the raid rooms to hosts who start a raid, don’t communicate with you then leave, there has got to be a version of this app that allows you to report those who do these things. Today I lost 100 coins in two raid rooms because the first host ghosted us and the second host started the raid then left. My review would be a 5-star review if it weren’t for these issues.

Not great
Not sure why there are so many high reviews. Start with trying to join a raid. Near impossible unless you use an auto join. I used one and got into a room, added the host never got an invite. But hey the app still took my 50 coins. (Kind of a problem when they charge money for these coins, or time consuming to earn them) Went to host a 5 star raid about 20 minutes ago, couldn’t be as bad as trying to join one right? Spent about 5 minutes waiting for it to verify my screenshot of the raid... tried 3 different shots all just sat there waiting. So just did it the reliable way, manually posting it on another app and had a team in a little over by a minute. No good experiences with this app so far. Not sure how much more I’ll give it a try. But may try to host a raid tomorrow and if it still doesn’t work, I’ll be deleting this

Decent but good luck getting into a raid
You pretty much have to buy coins to get into raids. They let three people join with auto-join leaving only two spots open for the rest of the world to fight for. I have tried for hours to get into raids with no success because they are full. Could have something to do with being in the US and maybe the servers are somewhere else, who knows. Another down side is you can’t see the level of people until you join the raid so you get low level players expecting to get carried which doesn’t always work out on harder raid bosses. Three stars for functionality though. It does make it easier to get into raids at off hours if you use the auto-join feature.

Hit and Miss
Some times don’t waste money and others times just throwing it away and it isn’t just the trolls that make fake raids for you to join but also what seems like group organization of up to three players including host with good rating to make seem legit but then host leaves after closing room and players leave with exception to the ringers/fake profiles that filled up queue with troll host. Possible money grab to make spend more coins is what feels like but if can accept them scamming you sometimes then this good place for you.

Waste of time
When there’s thousands of people waiting for an autoraid(you have to pay for) sometimes it will kick you off the app and make you start all over again. Then there’s people who make fake raid rooms to waste your time and money, waited over three hours for a raid and was thrown into a room where the host never invited and disappeared. Wasted time and money. There’s no way to get support from the makers of the app and no way to get a refund for there stupidity. They need to make it where people have to prove there’s a raid when making a room so people who actually waited for so long and spent real money don’t get screwed over(screenshot and location scanning)

Please can I get a Response!
So I downloaded this app today. I did my first raid and it worked great. Shared a post to Facebook to get the free coins and tried doing another raid. I got into a room, then the host left and I lost my coins.... no big deal they were free. I tried manually looking for a room but EVERY SINGLE ROOM that says an invitation is open won’t let me join. It just gives me a message saying “there are no open invitations”. Please what is the point of allowing a free join if it never works? When I downloaded this app, I thought it would be a fun, community friendly way to get cool Pokémon and make friends. But this app only works if you pay money. The auto join takes a solid 15 minutes to join and that is the only way I’ve been able to make it into a raid, and I’ve tried it on my home internet and on cellular service l.

No refund when you do not get invites
This app worked great until we got to a busy weekend. I was thrilled with it, until Mewtwo and multi-lengendaries came out. I bought extra passes, they charge 50 cents per raid if you don’t mind waiting. I waited repeatedly, got friended, then got no invite....and still got charged over and over. There is no process to stop them from charging or getting a refund. When it works, it’s great, but it’s very frustrating to wait in a 300 person queue, then get charged, and no raid, no customer service, no refund.

REVISED
This app is great at its base line, some raids are more popular and harder to get into, but others are easy, and you can always host a raid yourself. HOWEVER, the concept of spending cash, to get into a raid, and having NO way to be compensated if the host doesn’t invite or is a troll/fake raid is a complete scam. If something is implemented to reimburse lost coins on fake/troll hosts, I’ll change my rating to 4-5stars. REVISION: By using the feedback form in the app, the app customer service reimbursed my lost coins due to troll raids from auto join. After personal experience using this feature and how quick CS was to respond and return my lost coins due to troll raids I am changing my review to 5 stars. I can honestly say I currently have 0 issues with this app. It’s great and growing well. As an added note, if you can’t get into someone else’s raid on your own, try going outside and finding and HOSTING a raid instead. There are 2 sides to every coin.

Good app but…
App itself is amazing. However, with Niantic now putting a cap on daily remote raids as well as raising prices, the app is half crippled. Now it takes much much longer for a lobby to fill up. I would imagine this is because the high price tag discourages players to remote raid. Even if the lobby fills up, often times there is one or two players who cannot join the raid in game because they have reached their daily limit. This posts a serious problem since lacking one player could be a difference between win or lose for the rest of the players, and wasting a remote pass on a defeat is the worst thing that can happen.

App is poorly ran.
Great concept for an app for sure. But not this team running it. They have zero remorse for anyone that spends money on the app. They continue to allow people below Legit Raid levels to host raids. Not to mention you can sit for an hour in the auto join lobby only to join a lobby that’s ended and or started already. But the moron hosting doesn’t know how to close the room. Costing numerous people their money and time waiting. There is no refund policy nor does anything happen to the morons that continue to screw people with their inability to operate the app properly. All it does is give you a bad rating. But auto join still puts you in the lobby risking you wasting your money again. When I first got this app is was good. The updates and lack of response from the creators or police of the app make this rating a 1.

Works but has a lot of bugs Poke Genie is better
It works and when Poke Genie is over flowing with people in queue it still has a chance to get you in a raid quicker but lot ls of bugs including people not receiving invites a lot and the menu saying there’s a open slot in a room when there isn’t. And this app lacks a lot of the features Poke Genie has like giving you tips on what move set is best on specific Pokémon, and even picking out the best Pokémon you have in your deck for raids. Not to mention Poke Genie tells you the exact IVs of the Pokémon you have caught and keeps a list of all of them. And its Free, no need to buy coins with real money or anything like that. Also it’s easier to host ur own raids on Poke Genie too

Wish I could use it!
My fiancé had success joining some raids with the app, so I figured I would download it too. Unfortunately, it won’t let me progress past registering my account. No matter how many different screenshots I took of my trainer profile, I kept getting the message that I could not be verified because it couldn’t see my trainer level. My trainer level was painfully, obviously visible in the lower left corner with no obstructions. There isn’t even a way to contact anyone involved with the app because the only option for contacting anyone is to “Send Feedback.” What good is sending feedback when they don’t ask for your email address or anything so they cannot get in touch with you when you have a technical issue that NEEDS to be fixed for you to even use their app?!
