Message connection failure

This has never happened before but now it's happening. I've lost all of my connections in my messages. Plus it all disappeared and say I have no connection. I'm still on the internet but the app is not working right. Please fix it. I've been talking to my boyfriend for 3 weeks😥😥😥😥😥😥😥

Improvement!

This app used to be an absolute disaster. There was a time (before the huge update) that men had their private parts as their profile picture! I love the new system of matching and seeking, that way, there is more opportunity to meet different people. It is nice to be able to be on here and not having to explain what you are all of the time. The self descriptions allow insight into a person and whether you purchase the membership or not (I am not a member) you can still have fun and chat with people! Making posts and sharing ideas is a great way to communicate. Before, there was only a long group message that people would randomly message and post their most erotic feelings and thoughts. Love this app! Would recommend. Just like any other dating app and site, a lot of people will want to have sex with you! It really just depends on the person. If you are trans, straight or just starting out, this app will help you connect with people. I recently helped out a girl that recently started transitioning and gave her some pointers! Now we reconnect and just chat to catch up. Now, Trans lets you create friendships too! Good luck to all! Xoxo

it's a good place to meet people from anywhere in the world

I have not had any of the issues that others have described. You get to meet people from all over the world and have a good conversation. Yes, it is pricey but that is to protect you which I found out later. I met my current guy here and we are very happy to have had this site to meet. And no I have not been paid for my review and no I am not an employee of the site. I am a regular ordinary person an RN to be exact. Yes, I agree that the price can be better and offer more options for more exposure.

A difficult app to operate.

Honestly, I’ve deleted the app from my iPhone once before only to try it again almost a year later. Low and behold it still had all my messages and notifications from the last time. I’m not going to upgrade to a premium app when the free app doesn’t let me read or delete notifications. I have I’ve 275 notifications that I cannot access or delete. What’s the point of being on here if only a handful of communication occurs and then it’s painful. Twitter and Grindr are much easier to chat with people. If I’m wrong I’ll admit it, but so far I see no hope for this app. Maybe support will read this and respond hopefully.

**update The spacing problem was fixed. Honestly this app is pretty cool, I've never used an app like this before but with the personal questions you can choose to answer privately or publically, I feel like they can accurately gauge the character behind the profile. There's even room for you to comment, to further clarify your answers. I am relatively new, so I haven't gotten any messages but it looks promising. It's an app you should definitely check out.

its okay

So far when compared to 5 other dating services I have used in the past, I like this one the best. I feel like they match compatibility and location better than other programs and the number of people I would be willing to meet was much higher than other services. I am pleasantly surprised but also disappointed I did not try this site sooner! Why is this the best-kept secret? Thanks, transgender dating

Pure garbage

This app is not designed for real people to connect. On the contrary it appears to be designed to keep people from connecting. It’s hard to tell the bugs from the features, but it’s all just smoke and mirrors anyway. The sad thing is that real people are trying to use this “platform” of shifting digital sand to meet each other. It’s inexcusable that this “product,” and the countless others like it, can even make it to market with the only reliable feature being that when you give them your money, your money is gone. That one works every time.

It has been 1 year since I used this app so maybe it has gone downhill but when I used it I was pleasantly surprised. I had never used a dating app before and assumed that everyone contacting me would be a weirdo but there were a ton of people I really connected to. I had a few really great dates with guys I met on this site and have been in a relationship with one of them for over 1 year now.

The Woes of Transgender Dating

I was very hopeful when I downloaded this app. It promised an opportunity to weed out all of the bigots ahead of time. That’s something I was immediately excited by. True, you don’t see trans bashing or threatening messages. Unfortunately my experience was still very unpleasant. The site is full of people with fetishes for transgendered persons. It felt like some kind of escort service. There was little to no emphasis put on matching interests or likes. I was a transgender piece of meat on display. Its hard enough dating as a transgender person, and I feel like this site actually managed to make that process feel worse. -Kat

Yes I pay for this app.

So I’m a trans woman and pay for this app. In their terms of what are acceptable pictures to upload, no where does it state you can’t upload a picture with someone else. I’m a widow, and this app does have an option to list yourself as “widowed.” So when I try and upload a picture my my late husband and I, it doesn’t get approved. It’s just upsetting because that’s a piece of me and my life. Sorry but for someone who pays for the app and I can’t upload a normal picture of my deceased husband and I, that’s a one star review for me.

I'll give 5 because in this Apps I can see all the messages that I have received I can read instantly.. even though I can't see all the likes who liked me?? but it's ok it doesn't matter. unlike other App, I need to pay more expensive to read or to reply to the messages. So Transgender date you are great for me.. thank you

easy to use and fun

This is the best dating app. It runs very smoothly. I love the Discovery section because you can find people based on all different criteria that you won't find in the matches they suggest in the swiping section, called Double Take. You're not forced to make a decision before you can see the next person.

it's good

New to the city so signed up for both dating and new friends; so far finding loads of people to message about happenings as well as lovely potential dates. Site was re-vamped and took a little getting used to, though overall its a pretty simple format and does precisely what it offers: connects strangers to possibility. Good luck!

Zero Free Functionality

This app has essentially 0 free functionality whatsoever. You can’t see who has liked you, can’t message anyone without them being premium and messaging first, very limited number of “swipes” per day, and all to constantly push the BS premium version! I don’t pay people who try to screw me over, I pay people who provide a legitimate service. If there was actual functionality beyond the most basic, and they had a reasonably priced premium I’d probably buy it, neither is the case. Terrible app, don’t bother with it.

Catfishes, Trolls, & Horrible Admin

I signed up for this app and only used it for a few days. In that short matter of time, it was easy for me to tell that most of the profiles were imposters posing as the hot guys in their profile pictures. I was also targeted by trolls that commented on my profile just to make fun of my height, weight, or what I have written on my profile. I’ve reported the catfishes and the trolls but apparently the horrible admin that look over this app decided to suspend my account without warning.

Be prepared to UPGRADE

Seems you are not able to do anything unless you pay for it. Honestly I have had better luck and results on Tindr!! You would think they would allow you to do more than just put a profile up for free. UGH. Don’t waste your time. Not sure how long I will last on here! Someone should create a site that does not extort money but rather celebrates us!!

Been on and off Transgender Dating since '10. I've weathered changes to the site and site rules for better and worse. Still, I favor Transgender Dating over the other sites/apps. Some reason I meet better quality ppl here than the plenty of flakes I always seem to run across elsewhere.

Straight up with the best site that I've come across I believe it's truly better than Zoosk and match I've been getting hits on this unlike match and Zoosk a lot of fake profiles scammers and robots, not a Transgender date and they're real people. Very good dating app. There is an excellent questionnaire that matches you up to people of similar values, interests, etc. Only joined last week and I've already been chatting to several people. The transgender date was recommended by a work colleague who has found it similarly a very good site.

Nothing but gross guys

Don’t waste your money. Most of the men I’ve come across are not very appealing. Add to that, the app lists CD’s, TV’s and transgender individuals all as one category. Personally, I believe that there’s a big difference between someone who identifies as transgender as opposed to someone for whom dressing as the opposite sex is just that, dressing up. Anyway, I live in LA and have not met anyone through this app so time to move on.

For an app that hasn’t been updated in months claiming to be the best transgender dating app around is a joke. This app is a waste of time! After making a profile, your stuck unless you pay some sort of fee, which are outrageous. There is NO way to do anything, so how does one evaluate something to see if it’s worth them paying for? You don’t on here. So run away, it’s a waste of time.

Bug with iOS 13?

I can't seem to use the mobile app anymore now that I have the iOS 13. I can't see the login page. I can still use the mobile app on a different phone without iOS 13 though. Please fix!

So I downloaded the app made my account once I finished it I tried to chat but couldn’t kept saying too many messages sent which was only just one message and then it said there was unusual activity then I was unable to do anything so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it tried to log back in and it wouldn’t let me due to unusual activity I only had this app less than a day

Takes a while to fill out a profile properly, but the match percent is really indicative of relationship compatibility. And the descriptions really help you to understand the person. This is the greatest place for the transgender community

Ladies don’t waste your time.

This app is a glorified grinder app. Filled with nothing but Trolls and Pic Collectors. Everyone you talk to on this app have no intention of actually meeting and only want to further sexualize you and request you to post or send more pictures. Without wanting to video verify they are real. There needs to be some other way to verify new accounts, because there are way too many fakes. Also we are living in a day where being trans is always under attack, this app has a plethora of MEN that dress in women’s clothing pretending to be trans, and confusing those that don’t know what a real trans women is. Poor app, and needs A LOT of work. Wish I could give zero stars.

So far so good.

Probably the best dating app out there at the moment, since this is mostly for people interested in serious relationships. Also, there are a lot fewer cat-phishing or fake profiles here than on other sites due to community monitoring.

App will delete face photos

This app deleted my public profile photos immediately after I became a paid member meaning that users would not be able to see pics until they were approved which was unlikely. My photos were up for months and then overnight as I’m getting flooded with messages, my photos and profile content are changed without warning or reason. Site developers blame Apple and Google.

An App With No Identity

What is the intended use for this app?? It seems all over the place. Worse than that is the inability to determine what’s real or fake. I randomly get messages then the profile shows up as “null” The people using the app aren’t helping things either. It’s seems like they only want to live in secrecy. I joined the app to get to know trans people but have yet to connect in person.

Restrictive!

Save your money and find a site that has a bit more liberal policies. This site edits pics and profiles at will and indiscriminately. It’s unnerving to know some troll is going in and editing your profile. Also, there isn’t consistent policy enforcement. That is to say what some may get away with in a profile, others cannot. The site is also full of bugs and fake profiles. You’ve been warned.
