This FREE app offers a good selection of workouts. I love that they're only 12 or 16 minutes but are still challenging. I was planning to purchase the PRO version, but won't buy it until the sound issue is resolved. There is supposed to be a "beep" which alerts you to the start and end of each interval. Unfortunately it only works through my bluetooth. After much research and several attempts, it still would not work via speakerphone. The workouts are too intense to wear my bluetooth so my workouts are less effective because I have to constantly look at my phone to check the timer. If you have a fix to this issue, please let me know. I will be happy to upgrade to PRO once this issue is resolved.
I use the interval timer and create my own personalized timed sets. There are audio cues that also work while listening to music on the same mobile device. I think the app would be improved if one could change the volume of the timers without turning down the music and I am not too find of the emails but otherwise good app. I will keep using it for sure.
This app is great for when you don't have time to do the popular HIIT training tapes, more customizable. A huge improvement would be if there would be audio cues so you can use the app without needing to look at it.
I have been working out at the gym. I am transitioning to home workouts with HIIT training. These are intense yet short enough to keep me moving. I use the blog also.
