No way to get to their support team

While on Alignable, they solicited me to spend $200 promoting my business and my ROI was close to a BIG ZERO for 2 months and now I want to cancel but there is no way to get in touch with them and I have posted many request to groups to show me how but there is no hope. This os the worst app ever what a waste. If support team reads this then contact me to resolve my problem and I will improve this review. HOMEREDI on Alignable.

Terrible app doesn’t work

90% of the time I use the app, it doesn’t work and I’m forced to use my laptop instead to login. This is often troublesome because I’ll see a notification of a message but I can’t get to it to read it in a timely fashion to respond. I also have to login every time because it doesn’t keep my info. The ROI for Alignable is pretty much zero. The leads I do get aren’t what I’m looking for or they don’t come in at all. I have recommendations, I’ve filled in all of my profile and I’m even in some groups. Problem with the groups is you can’t promote yourself. Isn’t that why we are all here? Disappointed in the app, and overall service.

Horrible Refund Policy

I bought a 1-year platinum membership thinking my referrals would increase exponentially. Long story short it wasn’t worth the money. So when I found out 15 days in that the year contract auto-renewed, my request to cancel and refund the subscription was denied because it wasn’t “within the timeframe.” Then support felt the need to say I signed in 8 times since it renewed. Easy to do when you’re just accepting requests and clearing notifications. Doesn’t justify taking 11.5 months of payments from me when I’m only 15 days in. Long story short, it’s overrated and unnecessary. If you have to use social media for referral business, just use LinkedIn.

Do NOT download this app or join this platform!!!

I received a legitimate looking invitation from someone I trust asking me to join Alignable. Turns out they had no knowledge that this email existed and never sent it to me, they were hijacked because they were on someone else's contact list. Before I knew it, all of my own contacts including my own mother were getting spam invitations from me to join this platform. I specifically declined to import my contacts list so this wouldn't happen, but they stole my personal information without my consent. I am deleting the app and investigating what would be the proper Government agency to file a complaint about this sketchy behavior

This app offers no value

I just discovered alignable has been taking money out of my account for the last 10 months without my consent. I’ve received so little value from what I thought was a free membership that I unsubscribed from their constant and worthless emails and forgot about it. Until I noticed a recent charge to account. I called my bank to dispute and discovered they’ve been hitting my account for months. I’ve tried calling but am directed to leave a voicemail as no one will call me back. They will only respond via email. I’ve requested a full refund for all unauthorized payments withdrawn from my account.

Clicking on App Converts to Sign In

Overall, good experience. However, many times when I open the App, it takes me to a log-in page outside of the app (and I’m already signed in on the app.) Recent update didn’t fix this issue. Also, for messaging to contacts, the default is not set to begin a sentence with a capital letter. Why? This is basic software default.

App needs work... a lot of it.

I’ve tried to like this app but it needs a lot of work. Good idea / mediocre execution. It may evolve so I’m not going to delete it yet but it isn’t ready for prime time and I don’t recommend it. Definitely don’t give them your contacts as Alignable is a spam machine. Things I don’t like: You cannot join via the app (yes, really) Poorly design app and function Every time you log in they try to get you to spam your contacts. At every turn they ask you to invite you contacts and then want to charge you to connect with them! You have to pay to connect with businesses after a limited number of “credits”. To upgrade is expensive for an app without a proven track record of being a valuable service Glitchy interface Overall, I give the company an A for the idea a C- for app design and a failing grade for their value proposition.

Don’t download this app

If you’re looking for a reason not to download this app, look no further. I’ve never posted an app review and am doing it because of how much this HURT my business. Aside from the fact that it’s a bad layout, poor UI/UX and requires a bunch of convoluted steps to get started, the worst part of this app is that it can spam your ENTIRE EMAIL LIST. Alignable has now spammed every. single. contact. I had clients emailing asking if I meant to send that to them. So if you don’t want to spam your clients, ex girlfriends, 3rd grade teacher, and grandma then just don’t download this app

Be careful with your contacts

Whatever you do, as the system will preload all your contacts to have invitations sent out. Do not click on deselect. This will send anyways as it has done for me and now hundreds of invites sent that I did not want to send. The system layout is very busy and to much going on. Since this is a recommendation site, I recommend to redesign with minimal features.

Spammy Email Collector

This app seems built for one purpose - to collect every possible email it can. Every time you login, it prompts you to connect with every person who you have ever emailed that is already in their system, or to invite every person you have ever emailed who is not in their system. The idea seems reasonable (like Nextdoor for small business), but I haven’t seen any useful activity other than their multi-daily no-reply auto emails prompting you to add more info to your profile.

It’s a mess

You get an email saying you should connect with someone. “Okay I agree” click on it and it just takes you to a page to invite your contact list. You try to search for your friends name but it’s impossible because the search is only for groups lol. Cherry on top is their is no way to contact them that their website is broken. To me that’s the number one way to say you don’t care about your customers at all.

Makes navigating easier.

Very happy with the app and it is a great marketing tool for growing your presence in any business, small or large. You don’t have to be super tech savvy to use it and is super beneficial to boosting business, promoting events. Try it, you will like it.

Dollar store LinkedIn WARNING!!!!

If you register on their app or online they will have access to your contacts and they automatically send emails to YOUR contacts spamming them in YOUR name as if you’re sending that email invite. Check all the sensitive info they have access to if you download their app. As a business owner this app is useless, unhelpful and at worst damaging. Their support is just as good as their app.

Confusion..

So.. I’ll keep this short! For networking with businesses in your area? Amazing. Actually being able to use the app? Impossible. Every time I open the app it’s a constant loading screen for 80 years, and then if I try and use the website I have to verify my email address EVERY time - but then when I verify through my email it takes me to a webpage browser that NEVER loads. Now I have missed my regular BNI because Alignable do not wish to fix minute issues. Thank you.

Sending request on my behalf without my permission

This App sent requests for connections to people in my contacts without my permission and played if off like I was accepting an invite from someone else. I only discovered this when a contact of mine asked me about an invite they said I sent them when on my end I had accepted an invite I thought they had sent. Neither of us had sent the invite. Not an honest way to do business.

Alignable connections

It’s useless for finding new contacts. They just want yours. So if you allow them access then you can connect with people you are already connected with. AND SO CAN THEY! But if you don’t, even if you find people in your network; they will tell you that connection is outside your network. I had one that sent a request to connect with me; and they still denied the connection when I asked to confirm it! It takes a lot of work to find anyone and hope they may let you connect with them. If I hadn’t already connected to a few of my accounts. I’d delete the app for sure. Now I’m debating. But I’ll probably delete it.

Fake networking messages

This company clearly is demonstrating some shady networking efforts by falsely acting as a company, and messaging another local company pretending to want to connect. When this happened to me, I reached out to the owner who I know, and he confirmed he never sent the message. Further more, he never even set up an account. Not a good way to start off a brand.

Doesn’t load

Does not make sense to have an app on my phone that will not use it unless I am strictly in Wifi. I have unlimited data and every other app works. Makes no sense that I am unable to continue to network unless I am at home in front of my computer in the web. What is the point of having an app?

This app seemed to be too risky to use. It crashed several times. It doesn’t make it easy to close/cancel your account. I received an invite from a friend to join who didn’t send me the invite. I sure hope this app hasn’t done the same with my contacts on the crash tonight. I would like to delete my acct.

CONTACT STEALING SCAM

This website is nothing but a scam to harvest email addresses and contact information to spam people with. If you ask them to delete your information, they require A PICTURE OF YOUR GOVERNMENT ID in a written request and then they claim they’ll get back to you in a few days. This app should be removed from the App Store and investigated by the feds

Alignable can do better

I spent an h with this app yesterday just so I could recommend a business owner. I typed in what I thought was my Rec and…that wasn’t it. STILL have no idea how to recommend someone…which I thought was the point of Alignable. Do better.

This App is Worthless

It will not allow you to login on the app. It’s a continuous frustrating process of sending emails to supposedly allow login on the app but keeps sending you to Alignable website instead of the app on your device. Don’t waste your time like I did

Several Complaints. No Leads

If there is a way to block invitations from going to everyone in my contact list, I haven’t found it. Reaction has been along the lines of you are smarter that this and should know better.

Feels unethical, this fast bait and switch— what is the fee and is it automatically renewed or one time only? Otherwise it seems like a good networking app.

No sign up?

I downloaded the app but there is no sign up, only login. The developer responded that sign up is on the website and let me know the app description states that. That is so lame. Add signup to the app and I’ll both sign up and change my rating.

Message all my contacts multiple time

Horrible! This app messaged all of my contacts multitalented times trying to get them to sign up. I had gone through the registration process but did not notice the part where it was going to reach out to my contacts. I have had friends, colleagues and family reaching out asking if it was me or a phishing attempt. Very poorly done.

I’ve had a pretty terrible experience with Alignable. It really doesn’t work for me that emails seemed to come directly from me, rather than on my behalf.

Glitchy

The sign in is so glitchy I can’t get in to the app. There isn’t a “done” button after entering the password so the keyboard won’t go away.

Won’t let me cancel

I honestly never subscribed. This is a scam! Have been trying to cancel numerous times. I am a small business owner and do not write reviews unless I have tried every single outlet possible. Please, just cancel my subscription. Unreal.

i was an ambassador for them. for over a year. beatrice abuses ambassadors regularly. she is a cruel woman who causes suffering. i stood up to her and reported her to her supervisor. they punished me on the platform. they fired me as an ambassador. i would avoid this placemarker and technically inferior platform
