The app has potential, it’s a great idea, it would be great for car communities to start using more. But the way it’s used now makes it a lot less enjoyable. Thought it would be more quality content from people but its a lot of just garbage posting of pics pulled from google. Good content gets over shadowed by people just spamming random, some barely car related, pics and content.
Developers Please Read. Literally cannot do anything. Nothing works on this app
I’m giving it a 4 star because it has great potential and I absolutely love the idea. However, I’ve given up on this app after trying it for the past month. Was FINALLY able to make a profile after nothing loaded, then it wouldn’t let me upload pictures or maneuver anywhere in the app. So many simple bugs. Awkward wording for it to allow access to photos for example; “CarMeets require to your photo library”?? CarMeets requires what? For an app that has this many downloads I’d expect double checking on grammar. Then I can’t choose photos I’ll allow access to. It’s making me give permission to my full library at all times, which is unnecessary. Red flags as an app developer. Unless this app is a plot for data mining… Get an investor, fix your bugs, and market this app. The car community will react so well to this. Even if there’s different competition with fb groups etc, your name is literally CarMeets. So much potential!
The app runs very slow, I can understand that it’s a new release app with some bugs and slow speed, but this is too slow in my opinion. Pages take about 10-20 seconds and upload speeds are even worse. Also, advertising, the app is fairly new so I get that the app population is low, but it would really help if it was advertised more so it allows more people and more clubs to migrate into this app. I know that quite a lot of clubs post events on other social media platforms, but that can sometimes get rough due to law enforcement kicking everyone out even if it’s just a park and chill event. I can see the future of this app, hopefully it gets really popular. This might be a next safezone for clubs, crews, and car folks. Thanks for listening to my whims.
I gave this app a 4/5 because of the potential. This all is incredible but it has a LOT of fixes. To begin it is slow at times and has bugs around every corner. There are features that can be added and huds that could make this app feel more up to date as well. With it being 9 months since the last update I hope that it won’t be forget of since it can be something very big. I saw this app on tik tok and so did many so I have hope for a big update coming soon with the rising attention bur the potential the app has to be amazing is incredible. I hope the Devs take this into consideration but for now the app is doable.
I’ve had this app since August 2018, and I absolutely love it! It helped me find events near me I never even knew existed! I like how I can also add my vehicles to display on my profile for people around the world to see too! They even have clubs of all sorts where you can post the coolest car content to a large community of car enthusiasts! You’re into JDM? There’s a club for it! More of a muscle car person? They have a club for that too! It’s a wonderful app, and the devs are very respectful and always open to suggestions and taking care of issues! I definitely recommend this app to anyone who’s into cars!
Tried this app for about a month or more now, was cool at first, everything worked fine. Then I proceed to have to deal with fake accounts just like your average social media bs…. People trying to sell you stuff, bot accounts trying to get you to sign up for things…, it’s out of hand and clearly whoever is the developer has given up on trying to fix this app. Messages never work, notifications don’t come through till days after it happens… if you’re not going to keep up with the app why even have it still active at this point🤷♂️ think I’ll keep the app another week or so to see if anything gets fixed, if not I’m deleting it and never recommending it🫡
I got this app about 2 years ago and it was pretty cool. I just tried to get back on it and now everytime i try to make any changes to my profile such as the profile pic and background photo, it says “The AWS access key you provided does not exist in our systems” and doesn’t save any changes. Also when i try to post with pictures it says “saving photos 1/2” then pops up “error unable to upload” and then posts it anyways without any pictures and just the description. I’m quite sad as I was hoping to get back into this app as it was a unique social media specifically for cars but I guess it’s time to give up on it.
Perfect app, my only wish is that more people would use it. BUT THE IMPORTANT THING IS I CANT SIGN UP ON MULTIPLE DEVICES!! I had this app for a while on an iPad and when I went back to it today it wouldn’t work. Like nothing was loading AT ALL. So I decided to download it again on my PHONE and it would give me an “error” message for each way of signing up. Help. I bet the software is just crashing or sum but PLZ FIX ASAP 🤍💪🏽
I’ve been a faithful customer for over a year, bought the stupid decals & membership, but this app has MANY flaws! The protection from toxic users preventing you from stereotypes against your vehicle is ZERO!!! Just like all social media platforms, you have critics that say “criticism” is suppose to mean “constructive”, but obviously forgot to add “constructive” before “criticism” from being uneducated who also is a follower driving a Civic thinking he is an enthusiast with the basic modifications. Anyways, in the end, i thought this will be an app without any toxic vibes, but am clearly WRONG! Deleting & will upload a clip cutting my decals on my IG.
The CarMeets app is a great app for finding events, meeting different people, and more. The app has a bunch of different clubs that you can join including Car Game clubs to irl Car Clubs. Its a great app, but it has minor bugs. For example, I would click on an event and it would kick me out of the app at random times. This is also happens randomly when trying to view someone's post. But all in all, this is a wonderful app and I hope the all the issues get solved.
This app focuses on the map, the events, the users, and the users’ cars. It is really a good platform for car people to find others with the same interest and share their on the app or in real life. While there are still some areas of improvements. The app is updated on regular basis and getting better each time. 👍
I had use the app previously on my iPhone 8+. I recently inherited my moms iPhone X. On my 8+, the app worked as intended. But once I downloaded onto my X nothing would load. Eventually I had to delete my account because I could not save any changes being made when I went to add a new vehicle. Once I tried making a new account, the “select 3 interests” would not let me select any buttons. Though I could click the arrow to move on, but I get the message to “please select 3 interests.” So I cannot make a new account. This app has awesome potential but very neglected it seems.
Rarely works quickly/consistently. Often breaks and will be ultra slow or non-working for months at a time. 50/50 whether you can upload a video or not. It has huge potential, but they just can't get it working right. For the last 2 months every time I open the app its just blank... no feed no photos no posts no messages. If I had to guess the server hosting this thing keeps running out of storage, which makes the app dregrade into nonworking condition. Seems to happen every year or so.
I think the app is grate i’ve seen a lot on it but on the start page there is a glitch where on the interest it won’t let me pick any but i am able to go back and forward at the same time it says you have to pick three interest first.
It has its days of servers being down or buggy. The fact that they keep fixing things and got the app this car. Im enjoying seeing it get better. If you are here for the cars and car people, this is the app.
I made my page and all was working well till today when my car was deleted and my account was reset. Believing this to be a glitch of some sort I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it to only find I can not log into my account due to ‘incorrect formatting’. How can I not format an email and password correctly?!
I’ve had this app for a while, but now it needs to get updated through the new software of Apple other than that everything is super fine. There’s one more thing I prefer this app to what it is cars and that’s about it no girls half naked and layoff. That bad juju.
App is very buggy, too buggy for something thats been out for years apparently. The log-in process has taken over a week to complete, due to originally not being able to make an account no matter what way I signed up. Still have not fully created an account because I can’t select 3 of my interests from the list, and its the last thing preventing me from making an account.
Has a decent amount of bugs within the app that have to be worked out. Some which really affect the quality of life for users. Work those out and do more advertising and it would have a lot of potential to become an app that every gear-head has installed.
I really liked this app, using it for a couple years. However, the app no longer works and their website no longer works. It has been months so it appears to be abandoned. I also emailed the developer but never heard from them. Roadstr is a good alternative.
I would love to give this app a 5 star but since I had this app I can’t seem to configure my stickers to my car, which is very disappointing because it’s a great app for all car enthusiast all over the world. So once the configure button is fixed I would definitely change my rating from 3 star to 5 star.
Love this app, it’s a great platform for enthusiasts to make profile for their cars and view others for ideas, only complaint is u purchased from the store and never received the item, tried emailing, contacting there social media platforms, no responses ever, it’s as if this was abandoned

I’m sure this is a while spread issue, but still wanted to point it out. I got to make my account, that works fine but when I go to choose my interests, the app completely freezes, making to where I can’t finish setting up the account. If you want an app the works this isn’t the one for you go somewhere else unfortunately, I hear Facebook is a good place to start. SMH
This app introduced me to some nice local car people, and helped me find events around my area. This app has a lot more potential and I'm waiting for it to blow up even more. I tell all my friends to download because of it’s cruise gps feature. Love it.
This app is awesome but I have trouble accessing my photos to post on CarMeets. I like how this app is bringing hundreds of different car enthusiasts out to connect and share with one another. Over all I would suggest this app to everyone car enthusiast or not.
I am a big fan of this app. However I haven’t been able to upload any content for weeks. I’ve deleted the app reinstalled and nothing helps. May try one more time before I delete forever. Such a shame tho because I really enjoy it.
For right now the app is still very unresponsive and slow to use but it definitely has a lot of potential to grow and I can see it being a big social platform for the underground car world
So I got it to go to carmeets near me, and the layout of the app is so confusing, the only things that show up are people posting about their cars. Also after a few weeks of inactivity, they EMAIL YOU. Saying “We miss you! Come back!” Or something like that. It’s creepy and i don’t like that..
I had to delete my account several times only to find out the same problem keeps happening. I haven't been on the app in many months from being busy with my work, I go log in and my pictures are all gone. When I tried adding my pictures back it says something about AWS Key or something? I have no clue, but I'm real angry.
Ive tried numerous ways to sign up after downloading the app.. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my phone, changing wifi to LTE and still nothing, it just gives me an error message every time
It allows you to enter everything to describe your car, even custom parts that you make your self, or custom cars made by you. 12/10 will reckoned to all my car friends
Even over WiFi this app runs slow, not a lot of active users or posted events it seems either. Worth keeping around for a bit but will likely not use much.
This app was working wonderful for the first 2 to 3 days and then afterwords began crashing… Now I can’t log into it at all due to an error saying email address and password is in the wrong format please do an update so I can get back to this amazing app
My feed won’t load for days on end and my collection will go missing. Seems unfinished in terms of quality. The community is sparse - you’ll have better luck with Instagram and Facebook groups finding events and people to drive with. This is a waste of time.
There are tons of meets on the map that are from months ago that still appear and I can’t find anything that is coming up soon. The app is a very good idea though and with work could be amazing.
Saw this on IG and was excited to see something that was car meet related. From the start, very buggy when trying to create an account and even after. Needs more filters for events and sorting too. Overall needs work and major bug fixes.
Update: worst app ever 👎🏽 I’ve always encountered issues with this one. Sometimes embedding videos is a problem. Other times as recently, the app doesn’t display my own profile information at all. It asks me to add a vehicle which I did a long time ago. There aren’t any posts from others appearing either. What is going on with this???
The app is good for what it is, except i cannot host a meet because it keeps saying “ set a start time” when a start and end time is clearly there! Please fix this asap!
Awesome idea for the car community, just needs ALOT of work, can’t even add a car to the garage let alone any pictures loading nor being able to save my profile.
I liked this app a lot I used it almost every weekend and the one day it wouldn't load so I deleted it and reinstalled it. Then when I went back into the app it wouldn’t let me sign in or sign up because “the data was not formatted properly” so I have just given up on it.
This app has lots of awesome features from recording the sound of your vehicle to locations of car meets. Definitely recommend getting if your a enthusiast!
I really enjoy this app. I love being able to add the different mods I have for my vehicles. There are a ton of neat features tucked into this app. The community on here is great too.
So a day ago, the app was working perfectly and then yesterday I opened it back up, and all of the sudden nothing shows up, no post, can’t open the map, and can’t really add my vehicle back into my profile. Is anyone else having this problem?
