This app has so many problems. The first thing is, it doesn’t send notifications even though I’ve allowed notifications for the app. Also, the rules are very unregulated and people will pretend to be 17 and under to talk to younger girls. A lot of the people on here are catfish and reporting them doesn’t do anything. Also there is a lot of people with overly sexual usernames like “inzestlovr” or something like that, not using the actual word to bypass some sort of filter. There aren’t just bad things about this app. I like the interface and the online chat room, as well as being able to view people online with similar interests, ages, and sexualities. I hope the developers take my issues into suggestion and work on the problems to ensure a better, safe environment.
I downloaded this app, completed my profile, loaded some pics and now I can’t send or receive any messages at all. I have deleted and reinstalled the app and still nothing. I checked all settings and nothing. I have reached out to ChatHour using the only contact link I can find for them and have emailed them multiple times and absolutely ZERO reply, ZERO help, ZERO fix. And since I can’t use the app and since they will not respond and fix this, I am leaving this review.

I don’t like this app you guys are having problems with it people go in and they get kicked out right when they send a message or right when they login it kicks everybody out it’s done it to me y’all need to fix the app
this app has loads of potential but it’s unstable and outdated especially for the newest ios versions (14+), which causes it to have bugs and sometimes not display messages properly, they literally disappear and people you sent them to aren’t able to read them. for what it’s worth, it’s slightly less annoying than the mobile version on browser. at least we can read emoji on the app and save certain things.
I have been using this app on and off for several years. As of yesterday ( January 9,2024) I have not been able to log onto the app or the site. What happened?
If you’re a woman or trans stay waaaay away! I’ve never had such an awful experience on a platform before. Been called every slur known to man and the admin team couldn’t care less
At least on the iPhone you cannot go into a chat room (even mobile only) to chat. You have people message you just as if you were online but really do not know where from. I feel like there seems to be more options to a person's profile on the mobile version. Maybe it's just the layout.
I like this app way too much but the support and updates are lacking why too much would be awesome to have new message notification for iOS and fix some bugs
It would be better if I got a notification on my phone whenever I received a message. I never know when I have one until I get on the app. Please make this an update.
I don't like how I have to wait so long for my profile picture to upload I mean it's one picture it shouldn't take hours but other than that the app is fine
Nothing but perverts asking gross things & no way to report it other than hitting “stop sign” to stop messages. Minority based rooms are taken over by racists. If you are looking for wholesome chat then avoid this app/site.
It isn't allowing me to receive IMs even after refreshing it, uninstalling and reinstalling, and even turning the app off and starting it back again. This is both on wifi and with no wifi. Not only that but most of the guys I have gotten who message me are all from Africa or want something sexual and I have blocked and reported so many yet the profiles are still up. Something needs to be done about that.
I have no friends that’s why I like to use the app. It lets me socialize. My only issue is a lot of people tend to message me at once (which is fine) but I can be in the middle of writing a reply and when I get a notification, everything I wrote is gone. So if 30 people are messaging me it takes FOREVER to respond to ONE person. 🤦🏻♀️
