pretty awesome with minor issues

i’ve had this app for almost a week and it’s been pretty awesome! the only problem i’ve personally had is with my profile images being reported as AI or impersonation when i’m just using my own person images of myself. support seems pretty responsive though and i haven’t had any issues with it since i asked about it a few days ago. i wanted to fully recommend this app but when i did a couple of my friends tried to join and their accounts were immediately created as men when they are women so unfortunately the friends i tried to recommend the app to, weren’t able to have success with it :( if this gets fixed, this app would be perfect!

This app is legit

So I see most of the reviews are from males, but this review is from a female that uses the app. And I’m just going to say this app is genius! Men do have to pay coins to talk to you and you get 10 cents per message (the company gets 40 cents) and the money does add up on your account. I added the money to my pay pal account and it is legit. The money actually hit my account and it is not a scam, that’s what I was worried about. If you’re on the app, try your best to be your genuine self because men will ask for proof and if you’re a catfish then you are screwed and will lose that connection. Me being my genuine self has helped me have so many conversations with men and build legit connections with people on here. This app is genius and I will definitely continue to use it!

Failure to disclose information

Just a thought but you might want to put a section on the app store or your website that says, women get to chat for free while the men have to pay for every message sent. If i missed that section please show me where it is disclosed. I would not have downloaded your app if i had seen that piece of information. False advertising and failure to disclose certain features of your app. Also i think the person who made the initial contact and started the chat should have to pay. At the moment the women are sending random men first contact messages in order to get them to respond and have to pay for the conversation. I literally downloaded the app last night and this morning when i woke up i had messages from 5 different women trying to start a conversation so they could drain my money away. They know what they are doing and know how to take advantage of your system for a payday.

Okay I Understand guys have to pay for coins but if your having a genuine good conversation I don’t think it’s bad and I like that this app is legit I wish they had more apps like this , I mean y’all can or should update the features money feature can stay bc it’s legit but like make voice call or video chat or genres we can go through honestly I like it sometimes it does glitch but overall it’s a good app consider some of my ideas maybe ? Best App Ever I love it

Best app ever, a must try, I love everything about it the app is easy to manage and gives you the chance to meet new people from around your area or all around the world, not only is it easy to manage if any issues (which there rarely is) the support team will help you out immediately; it’s a really great experience; I must say I’ve made some really genuinely connections on here and would recommend it to anyone looking to be social and juzt have fun and get to know others; the app also has some really cool features like being able to video chat or send photos and videos which makes the experience so much more fun ☺️👏💝

This app is a huge scam do not download it. Please report their deceptive advertising to Apple so they are removed from the App Store indefinitely. It advertises itself as a way to meet people nearby. It doesn’t specify which gender. However, once you download it, it automatically knows your gender and charges you money to message women. While get this… the women get paid everytime you message them. It’s essentially a pay as you go ONLY FANS. So unless your a simp or incel, don’t download it. It makes no mention of men having to pay but not women. Besides which, isn’t it illegal to for a business to discriminate based on gender? This app is all kinds of messed up and the dude who invented it is chilling on a yacht making millions right now because of the deceptive get rich quick scheme. Please report this app to Apple and stay away from it

I have been a verified user on chaty since the app was first created. I had the ability to send pictures and video chat. I had tons of regular people I chatted with everyday. One day I logged onto my account and had lost access to EVERYTHING! All of the sudden I wasn’t able to message anyone anymore. I reached out to the support team over 10 times and they did nothing to help. It’s been over 6 months of me trying to re gain access to my account but today I finally gave up. I’m assuming they removed my access to give someone else the access to be verified since there’s only a certain amount of verified users allowed. Either way, I made the app a TON of money. I lost access to a lot of really cool people that I really bonded with. Has anyone else had any similar experiences?

Get Rich Scheme For Developers

The only point of this App for the developers to get rich off of desperate men , they pay the real women 10cent a message. So , this is strictly here to pay women poorly to message men to spend money. Then not to mention I’m sure there are bots that message inactive male account in the hopes you’ll buy more coins. Developers say they charge a “ small amount “to keep the App safe and ad free ( sure ) but to have a real conversation a male is going to spend upwards to $50-$100 on a women who certainly is only replying to get paid. Just use Facebook , POF or Tinder at least on those Apps you know when someone’s trying to screw you. 1 Star for a man using the App 2 Stars for a woman using it cause if that actually valued you ladies they wouldn’t pay for a crappy 10 cent a message. Stop making these con-artist rich.

Have So Much Fun

I’ve been meeting a lot of new friends and even went on a couple of dates. This app is pretty cool. Just so you know, this app works on coins and I don’t mind paying to talk to people. I’m a bit irritated at times that people constantly ask me to go to another website to talk. I’m a public figure so paying to talk to people and make an honest connection is worth it to me. This app is fun to use and you don’t have to worry about putting up a bio that no one is gonna read. You just throw up a few pictures and that’s it. Definitely love this app.

SCAM!!!!

I don’t know if it’s a sexist scam or not, based off other reviews I have seen. I myself saw the fake accounts and fake pictures as soon as I started. All these models suddenly wanna talk to you and yet you have to pay per text to talk back. They don’t have any info in their bio, just pictures and a made up name. It doesn’t say it’s a dating app but when you start up as a man, all I saw were women, if it was just a chat app then why can’t I see at least one guy. I was on the app for less then an hour and I had more then ten woman wanting to talk, and in order to talk I had to pay…..instant scam right there. If it wasn’t a scam then they should charge a monthly or a weekly fee to talk as much as you want, not per text like back in the day. Don’t waste your time or money.

Don’t waste your time.

You’ll spend $100 having a short casual conversation with someone. Sure, the first 50 coins are free. But it uses 5 coins every time you send a message. So, your out of coins by the time you get past “hey, how are you”. There’s no way to know if the person you’re talking to is actually, as they claim, near you. There’s only the option for a few profile pics and a user name and it seems like a ton of people just on there for “other” reasons. Could be useful for plugging local events and letting people know in your area what’s going on. And could be fun to actually meet and chat with people in the area. But, it’s too basic and for the price of “coins”, not worth it at all. I’d deal with ads if it meant losing the stupid coins thing.

Great app for meeting new people and easy to use

I’ve been using this app for ages now and have met some awesome and fun people here! It’s super easy to use and getting around it, I love the features like video chatting 😍 they made really good improvements, plus their customer service is amazing. Anytime I had a question, they were quick to help me out, and every purchase I’ve made through the app has been totally worth it. Anyway, I highly recommend this app if you want an easy and fun way to meet new people 🥰

Was good while it lasted.

I loves this app in the beginning but ever since April I will randomly get a message that says my access is denied for suspicious activity when I have done nothing suspicious and the few times it actually allows me to sign in there is no one online to chat with even though before I login there are tons of people online. I’ve asked support many times and all they say is their is an issue with some verified members and have no update for me on the situation since April. I asked if I could make a new verified account and they say no. Also took forever to get a reply. I sent emails a month ago and finally sent another one and heard from them yesterday and they were of no help at all. Just the same no update on the issue.

Terrible app, Don’t download!!!

All this app is good for is putting a hold in your pockets. The coins runs out quick and you have to keep paying for more coins to talk to women. The women gets paid to interact with men, and the men don’t get nothing but lose money using it. Even some of the so called women on the app are catfishes because they use the same style of texting. The only way you’ll see through their bull is if you think with your head and not with your stick! There are actually real women on there to converse with, but then you would have to figure out which one is really interested in getting to know you and which one is only there to make money off of you!! Stay away unless you’re rich or a simp!

Worst app I’ve ever downloaded EVER

This app is filled with bots and fake five star reviews from users that are not real. I was thinking it was similar to tinder or something of that matter but it’s not. You start out with chat coins. Each message you send to a person wastes two coins. Once you get to zero you can’t send messages at all. You then have to spend five or ten dollars to get more chat coins. I spent the money cause it wasn’t a big deal. There was not a single real person on the entire app. It is designed to trick men into paying money to send messages to bots that try to engage you to send more messages which wastes the coins causing you to have to spend MORE money. These bots are idiotic and are quite useless. You don’t have a profile. You just upload your main pic and three others. Most usernames are weird lazy unicorn or tired giraffe as it pre populates user names for you and it stays that way unless you change. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. Biggest waste of time EVER. Try tinder. Even IG would be better or Facebook. If I could rate this 0 stars I would. Absolute filth.

Specific area!

This app would be 10x better if I had the option to talk to women in my area and not on the other side of the U.S. And also if we could have a profile with a bio and more options for photos and displaying our likes and dislikes. I’m not going to spend money to talk to someone in a completely different state. If anyone is reading this I suggest you don’t download this app! They don’t want to give you the chance to actually meet someone in your area because they want you to continue using this app to make money and drain us males. Ohh and btw Women message free so you will get a lot of messages from different women mostly fakes because if you message them back they also get paid.

I’ve had this app for a little over a year and I enjoy talking to people all over the US as well as other countries and learning so many new things from people and their cultures! I am thankful that it does make you verify your age and identity prior to talking to others and if you find anyone being suspicious chaty support always takes it into consideration to review as well as any other issues you have! I am happy to have found the app!

Great way to make new friends

Chaty is a really great way to chat with lots of different people in your area and all over the world. I’ve made tons of new friends and a few people that I would be interested in meeting in person and going on a date with. It feels more genuine than going on a traditional dating apps and I like not having to match before you’re able to start a convo. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to meet new people!

Customer service is horrible.

I’ve been trying to figure out what’s going on with my account for & havent received a response from customer support since December 14th. My account doesn’t show me anybody that’s active and multiple features are suddenly gone & can’t be used. I’ve been using this app very successfully since April 2023 and I’m to the point I might just move on to another similar app. Pretty sure it’s because I’ve given my Snapchat out to a few people which I think is crazy to basically be “punished” because someone wants to exchange snapchats. I don’t get what’s so wrong with that. Hopefully the situation can be rectified. I can’t even get anyone to reply about my 1099 form.

Great App

Honestly I don’t understand about some of the bad reviews. The support always gets back to me for whatever I need and answers any questions I have. And this app does not allow you to be scammed by people that sell content. You just report them and they get banned. I’ve met some fun people and met some crappy individuals that life on the web though. You don’t have to worry about catfishing on here because you can easily verify through video. Great App love it!

Scam and girls work there to get paid.

Not good at all. They all say the same thing and drag on the conversation so you can pay more for coins. Total scam and if you wonder and want to test it. Ask for a phone number and you get the same exact response so no they dont want to be friends or have anything to do with you other to drag on the conversation to get paid for there own time. So yes they are baiting you to steal and scam your money and most of the people who write the so called 5 star reviews are the people that work there. Be aware and try to find a real review from actual customers not from the workers on the inside. I will be opening an investigation into this scam.

Dumbest app for men ever

If you wanted to get contacted by a hundred women in a day, you’d think that sounds great? But the women are paid for each message they get you to send. And you have to pay 5x that to send a message. ITS RIDICULOUS. The women are scammers, selling porn, or just trying to make a dime per message. There’s no one looking for a date or to meet. And even if you wanted to meet, there’s no way to see their location or filter who you see. The app says “chat with local women” but none i chatted with are local. It’s a COMPLETE AND UTTER SCAM. The developer response is a joke I reported dozens of them but how many coins does it take before they’re revealed as scammers. It’s a JOKE. Do not waste money on this scam crap

Men run away! You’ll be poor in a single night!

I saw an ad for this and thought it was an interesting app. Well after reading other reviews about how this is a scheme for women to make money and lonely guys to lose out I was blown away. I was blown away from how many women were trying to talk but after learning about the monetization of the app and how it works I immediately deleted the app. $10 for 100 coins. Needless to say each message is a single coin. Imagine every text you spend you pay your carrier ten cents. We send hundreds if not thousands to friends and family. Cmon guys don’t fall for this app. It’s just a way for women to make money and you get screwed over.

Chat short, costs money for good chat

Upon installing my thought was trying to make valuable connections but first chat being free, then 6 coins for each message after and 20 per minute of voice call? I get that limits bots and you find more legit people but 50 coins being minimum and being like $6 is rough especially since some chats might not take off that fast. For those looking for chats know you’re paying per message and really make it count. Otherwise you’re throwing money to the wind. I feel like the devs have a good thing going but I don’t think it’s worth all of that.

Greedy and ban for no reason

Chaty claims to be a great app for chatting with others, but it falls short in several ways. First, the fact that you have to pay to chat more is incredibly frustrating Second, I've heard numerous reports of users being banned for seemingly no reason. This lack of transparency and fairness is a major turn-off and makes me hesitant to invest any time or money into the app. Overall, I would not recommend Chaty to anyone looking for a reliable and user-friendly chat app. There are better alternatives out there that offer more features and a fairer user experience.

Very easy to use

So I downloaded this app a few days ago and I was hesitant at first but I love how easy it is to connect with new people here, the app is straightforward to use and most people are very friendly. Compared to other apps I’ve seen out there, chaty feels very safe to use and I can just be myself without judgement. I’m so excited to continue to make more friends :)

WARNING to Men - It’s a SCAM

I downloaded this app a few days ago and all was going well. I’ve received many messages and sent messages out. The thing is the guys have to pay while the women get paid. It’s 6 coins per message while it cost nothing for the women. I was under the impression that you get coins and pay coins from messages, equivalent exchange. This is not the case. The creators also took down my last review with these details. DO NOT download this if you’re a male. All the females are there just to get your coins so they can cash out at 200 coins while you get nothing besides paying $9.99 for 100 coins to have normal conversations….

Number of chats

Look the site is really nice…….however, being able to chat with some free more than one time could be very beneficial for you!! It’s impossible to find a connection with one free chat but, if you have several free chats it would allow people to establish a connection with the other person and more likely to pay into you company then?? Pay To Talk To Women

They advertise themselves as a way to meet new people and right away I had 5-10 girls messaging me which i thought was odd considering i didn't even upload a photo yet. You quickly come to realize that the way this app works is not only preying on lonely men but also sexist as well, and they aren’t transparent about it. Men have to buy coins to message females and females make money if you use coins to chat with them. I also saw each message costs 6 coins to send and its $12 for 110 coins…like what are we doing here. This is just sad. I hope this thing gets shut down because its a misleading and predatory app.

Developers won’t fix app

I had what they call “verified account” female account. I got paid but developers won’t fix my account after 6 months now. So yes I’m telling men the secret. No the females won’t text your number or add social media. We get paid for each message we received. I had made $500 pretending to be interested in men, even interested in their fetishes that I absolutely thought were disgusting in reality. Females also verify their ID to support. And then put fake profile pictures. So yes you are talking to real people, but with fake pictures and serious interest in you physically or sexually. All pretend and a job to us 🤷🏼‍♀️

This app is not a dating site. It’s not even a freind site like some girls posted on here that they made some good friends. You have to pay to talk to that friend. The girls will say anything to get you to keep the conversation going. They get paid out on how many messages they receive. You ask for there number after a week of talks of marriage and your the right person. But the corporate reply is “ I feel more comfortable talking on here” that’s the first thing you ask if you hit it off with someone and you will know. 20 out or 20 you get won’t get any information. I doubt that some of the picture perfect girls models aren’t even the. They even won’t allow you to send a text if there are too many numbers involved. I have confirmed it with multiple girls and it’s true. They all get the same. But the get paid on how many. It a digital text that took place of the 1-900 calls for sex that cost you big money. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!!!!

Nothing but bots

The app is full of bots that messaged me before I even added pictures. The goal of the app is that you pay money (a lot of money) for coins PER MESSAGE, in order to find out if someone is real and not a bot. This obviously will take several messages so you can see where this is going. Almost all of the user names are an adjective followed by a noun (Clever Cat, Mysterious Bear, etc), so there’s your hint you’re dealing with a scam app. Very similar to how that anonymous questions app NGL operated. You paid money to reveal the person asking a question only to find out the company was scamming people by asking bot generated questions.

Couldn’t recover my account

I like Big Bots and I cannot lie

This is absolutely delightful app. I’ve given so much of my real money for Chaty coins to chat with bots. Those cute lovable bots like to use up all of my chatty coins so now I gotta go and buy more. Great chats; awesome app!

Surprisingly, there are a lot of great conversationalists there! I'm glad I gave it a chance. Don't judge a book by its cover — just ask questions. There were a few girls who had crazy stories to tell and another who is so open-minded I can tell her anything. Definitely worth the coins. I might actually make friends there, unlike any other app I've used so far! Overall, it is pretty interesting experience and a quick way to chat with people around the world.

The people are REAL and you have all types of people to converse with, and the way they have it set up is BRILLIANT!!!! Manipulating people in the worst way!!!

The developers of this app are the very definition of scum. This is not a site to make real friends, it is a total scam. All about squeezing you for money. They lead you on and provide you with plenty of people to talk to but it is all fake. The more you participate the more money you spend. The objective of building true relationships with local people is non existent. I would not be surprised if they paid people to write reviews. This is a joke

First off I love how men are forced to pay while women get paid to. This is the most sexist app I’ve seen so far. This app needs a rework you can keep meaningful legit conversations with out a pay wall for men. I can think of a great way and I’m not even in the business for this. Start off with every person gets to chat for free. Then make a limit to how long you can message in between and make the coins used for instant response or use the coin feature to reach out for ex amount of time so many ways yet you choose exploit men. Sexist

I don’t believe apps should be geared to only woman making money chatting. That’s sexiest. It should work both ways. Too many woman out there on social media now days only talk to guys for money. This is another one of those. I want to meet and chat to people because they want to talk to me, not because they are getting paid to talk to me. The way social media and apps are geared for woman and not for men needs to change. Let’s go back to online chatting when money wasn’t involved.

Female review- total scam!!!!

I am a female and I came here to let other females know this app is a scam. It’ll lock you out of your account right before you can payout. I’ve contracted their joke of a customer service three times about it and I’ve gotten the same copy and pasted generic message that I was engaged in fraudulent activity. I must’ve used a third party or VPN. Which is untrue and they immediately close the ticket. I open up a new ticket to let them know I haven’t done any of these things and I get the same copy and pasted response. Do not waste your time. This app is a scam

Got banned on less than 24hours

I downloaded this app because I’m like ok I get to meet new people but I up late last night around 12:30AM I don’t know why and they thought I was a bot or AI or something I chatted with a few people and then I open it up it said I’m banned for violating the terms of service and I read everything so for new people that want to download this app just be careful because you might get banned in 1 day for talking to people and isn’t this app was designed for to chat with people l. I personally had a really bad experience.
