This app feels like it was designed by males with limited input from women on what would be useful and lacks some of the key data points I’d like to see including a simple display of day count. I’d like to use cycle tracking out of convenience with other health data but I think I’ll keep using the Flo app until Cycle Tracking improves.
My wife says this is too simple and lacks needed features. She didn’t say what though and said she would write her own. I know she wanted tracking, an estimation and notification of when it was about to start. Ability to track flow and how she feels physically and mentally during. I’m sure she has more. It this is just what I hear here complaining about.
I set this up years back to see what the UI looked like and there’s no way to unenroll from the app. I am a Male. I do not have any Cycles to track but remnants of the app still pop up in Health and other places. Please let me unenroll
Cycle Tracking provides a convenient and discreet way to track your menstrual cycle using Apple Watch. Easily log your period, including flow levels, symptoms and fertility information. Choose to receive notifications for when your period or fertile window is about to begin. Features • Use the daily log to note flow level and any symptoms such as cramps, headaches and bloating. • Easily track results from ovulation prediction kits, or readings from a basal body thermometer. • Cycle Tracking will display a prediction for when your next period will start and your fertile window. • Turn on notifications so you can receive an alert before your period or fertile window is likely to start. • See additional detail including your cycle history and statistics in the Health app on iPhone. • When your phone is locked with a passcode, all your health and fitness data in the Health app — other than your Medical ID — is encrypted. Your health data stays up to date across all your devices automatically using iCloud, where it is encrypted while in transit and on Apple servers.
