I’m so very disappointing, because 75% of the people that are on this site are located in Canada a totally different country than the United States. I specifically said I didn’t want perspective dates more than 50 miles away that didn’t work out and I’m just tired of filling out forms that look so promising and then I get home teen fellows to choose from that are miles and miles away from where I am, so it’s useless to me and then the fact that you keep on wanting people to update and go to the next level and try different things and none of that is helping me a bit. I’m very disappointed. This is how it works for everybody. I don’t need it. Please respond.

Password reset loop

I forgot my password so I submitted my email address to have a link emailed to me to reset my password. I get the email and I hit the reset password button and it sends me to the login window where I have to put in my email and password, or I can select the link that says “forgot password” which then sends me to a screen that asks for my email address so they can send me a link to reset my password. And it just goes back into the same loop. At no point do you get to reset your password. After many, many tries I eventually got the password reset. Entered all the necessary information into my profile. Looked at the matches created and decided to just keep looking. Then the next day I see that others have viewed and liked my profile. When I tried to see who liked me, I find out I have to upgrade to the premium account, which is more expensive than I care to spend so I just deleted my account. Wasted a lot of time and effort to get into my account for nothing.

No way to search

I thought that after becoming a paying member that I would be able to search, but no you just keep spinning and only get so many spins and then have to wait 24 hours until you get to spin again, just like before I was a paying member. I contacted Help and they did get back to me confirming that there is no search. I did find someone I liked. But some how deleted it. Now I have to spin once in 24 hours and hope I come across her again? Not cool. They also tell you that you have messages but this is not true when you click on the profile that supposedly sent you the mail there is no message. Don’t be fooled by that, it’s just an attempt to get you to join. The only benefit of being a member is that you get to mail another member. I definitely won’t be renewing.

Solve this please

I am currently experiencing issues with the app. Initially, I was able to use the messaging feature for free. However, I have noticed that certain messages that were initially free now require a premium subscription. This has disrupted my conversations with other users, and I am unable to reconnect with them. Not everyone has the financial means to afford a premium membership. I kindly request that this matter be addressed to ensure that all users, regardless of their financial capacity, can continue to use the app and its features. Good idea bad application

The app had potential. You spin and randomly get several people to choose from. It’s different than swiping. Unfortunately the app beyond that is utterly useless. There lots of bots and fake accounts. Absolutely no way to localize your spins. No preferences to set. It starts by showing a few people close but quickly you’re seeing people across the country. I absolutely can’t under how these companies think people want a dating app where it’s impossible to actually meet the person. That’s only useful to scammers. And now they’ve removed most of the features including messaging without buying the premium. It’s not worth it. Feels like a scam app now. Don’t waste your time.

JOKE

I took my time to answer the question, wrote a paragraph about myself, paid the money. Every day I get emails saying someone has messaged me but I can't see anything because it says I haven't downloaded any pictures and it won't let me download the pictures I've already downloaded. It worked for 2 days now nothing and they haven't answered any of my emails from the past week.

I’m unsure how this really works. I’ve had it for a year and when I first started, it was fantastic. I ended up coming out of premium and going to basic and I was still able to lease to answer some of the calls that people would send me. Now I can’t even do that so nothing free, which is normal so I’m very disappointed, same thing with the last young lady. I picked it within 25 to 50 miles and I’m getting people from out of State out of the country. It was fine when I started, but it’s seems to go downhill after you been on here too long.

About the person

I like that the choices are within my area. I like that the app shows town & distance…also name & age. I wish the app would specify no sunglasses or hats & require at least 4 pictures of the person…not his dog, truck, boat, fish or motorcycle. He also needs to text a reasonable idea of himself. Pictures need to be close of the person’s face & not dark. I like the bio that’s provided.

Don’t try it

I have bought a one month subscription and still wasn’t able to do anything on this app then I was thinking well maybe the charge didn’t go through so I bought a one week subscription and still wouldn’t work. I checked my bank account and both charges were taking from my account and can’t submit an refund request through Apple because the subscriptions aren’t showing up. So now I have to call my bank to charge it back to this app. One way or the other I’m getting. My money bank app developer.

Locked out

I signed up for six months and my thing has not expired yet I have gotten locked out of my account. I have people viewing me that I cannot see them cannot contact them. I am very disappointed. I asked for help. He said log out come back in which I did I've got no support for them trying to find out what happened to my account and so basically I never use this service again.

Nice concept, if only it worked

The spin concept is a nice idea. Especially when you can win a free message and other perks. The problem is that it doesn’t work most of the time. Every day it says I’m out of spins even though I didn’t use any. Kind of defeats the purpose of using the app. It worked for a few days and then stopped. I contacted tech support and was told to clear the browser cache. I’m using the app, not a browser. Shouldn’t have this kind of problem.

What a joke

This site is the biggest hoax for a dating app probably ever. The messaging system when you send a message takes anywhere from two hours to four days for the person at the other end to get it. Every profile on there said they were from Texas I live in Texas I didn’t talk to one person that was from Texas or in Texas. If you encounter a person who’s messages com The best part is I canceled my three day free trial subscription 56 hours into it and was still charged for a month. Horrible site just horrible.

Scammers Delight

The program is full of female scammers trying to get money out of us. The management team is obviously unwilling to police their own application. BEWARE If they appear too willing , if they won’t give a phone number it’s probably a man pretending to be a woman. The first thing to do when you meet someone is check to see if they are available for video. The last one, she made me quit the program and I want a refund, just ignored me when I asked for her phone # after several days of talking. She said she wanted to fly out to be with me and give her the money to pay for it but would not let me see her live, just pictures of a younger woman than she was supposed to be. Then she wanted me to buy things for her. SCAM! I want a refund. This is an obvious issue that the owners of the sight have no desire to fix.

Very different but nice

Through the years I’ve been on several different dating sites and e- date is by far the best. I’ve received several hits mostly to far away but did manage to meet some nice ladies. Still looking for my partner in crime. Great site I definitely recommend it.

Very disappointed

Ok, this kind of stupid. It won’t let me edit my profile, add a picture, it used two of my spins and gives me only 6 people to much with, and it also won’t let me request for help to solve the problem. It actually turns out that I can’t even use the app or click on a someone to look at their profile without a photo. But than again, I can’t upload a photo because it’s not letting me do so. I ended up deleting my account because it’s pointless and a waste of my time.

Disappointing your service

I don’t like the way your service is working it says I win things. It doesn’t let me chat with the people that I’m supposed to be able to I considering delete your app because of this reason I tried to talk to a lady the other day which I did a couple sentences, and then you shut me off so that I had no more chat time left

Dealing with fraud, cannot get a response

Someone used my (very unique) email address to make an account. They aren’t in my state, nor are they my gender or age. I have been trying for weeks to get a single response for to delete this scam account, not one reply. It’s absolutely disgusting that they are unreachable. I don’t know what profile is attached to my email address; it’s a horrible way to handle customers. FYI, I’m single and NOT dating. This isn’t my account. 9/10 Emailed as suggested above, still ignored. Fraud persists

Never or always hard to stay on site have to back out and reset and people as in women not I no the same area or ages ! We pay for this won’t download what a joke I want my money back. Having it hard to subscribe

Will not allow me to access my premium

After paying for my premium subscription, it will not allow me to access anything very disappointed and this seems to be the only way to try and contact anyone. There is no contact information on the app itself. So at this point, I feel like I’ve wasted my money. This app is looking more like a scam I have yet been able to communicate with anyone on this website.

Terrible app

I thought this was supposed to be an app for Educated adults. Maybe 1 out of 10 men have any college whatsoever. Having 19 spins a day with 6-8 men on each spin doesn’t matter if none of them have the educational background promised. After 5 days of using the app I’m now getting people well outside my dating radius. The one match I did manage to make was rude and vulgar to me. Par for the course for dating apps, but I thought this was different. It is a complete waste of money.

Has to be the worst dating sight out there. Payed for 6 months but after 3 they close out your account and try to get you to pay again. Then trying to talk to anyone to fix it is a bigger joke. Don’t waste your time and money on this. I ended up chatting with approximately 7 women on here and everyone of them tried to scam me in one way or another. So if you enjoy being scammed and told lies this is the site for you . Thanks for everything edate 👍👍

Filled with scammers

On it for a over a month. So far every connection is out of the are I’m in and they all ask for money because they are taking care of their sick mother. My first connection to my last. The site seems to do well on removing scammers pretty quickly but I have yet to meet up even if it shows that they are in my are they are not. Which is why they need money fly back and see me. Sadly not worth the time.

Cannot log in or reset password

This site does not let me log in even though I know my password. It keeps telling me it’s wrong and when I go to the reset password instructions it bounces me back to sign in with my email and password. Never do I get the prompt to change my password! I’ve tried it 20 times! And there is no email address to get a hold of someone for help, just a mailing address.

This is the second time I’m subscribing to this app, after my purchase is successful, I’m not given access to send messages nor check people who liked my profile etc, I just think it’s not fair. I paid the 9.99$ and I still can’t even message it even check out the messages I have received, I’m disappointed. I hope you can help me fix this problem.

Totally disgusted

Started my membership the 1st of Jan, by the 4th, I was ready to quit this site. And have indeed cancelled my subscription. This is a totally bogus site. I would estimate that 95% of the women that I’ve tried to contact were NOT who they claimed to be. Nothing but a scam. There was no respecting what I had filled in -as to wants, distance, age. If I had wanted to be hustled, I could find a hooker, as they are definitely on this site. What a shame.

I joined in August. After all the problems I met a young woman. Said she was 57, looks closer to 25. Said she couldn’t change her profile. We started chatting anyway. She is half way across the States from me. She doesn’t even fit what I am looking for. Now we no longer talk, she was just looking for a sugar daddy.

Not worth the money & scammers

I wouldn’t even give a star if possible for the app being so glitchy and constant scammers. Not worth it. Had someone use the pic of a glamour model under the name “Marie”. You all should make where everyone has to verify there pictures in order to have an account. Especially at the price you pay. Very disappointed…

Horrible App for Men!

Gentlemen, I recommend that you do not use this app and go find a different dating app. I am a straight single guy who is interested in women. At first, eDate only provided men for me to pair with. After addressing this issue, it took multiple days to get approved and for them to stop providing only men to choose. Even though I could start spinning and choosing women, every morning I get at least 1 email with the app pairing and finding only men (pictures to prove it). After asking the company to stop this multiple times, they haven’t done anything. Don’t use eDate and go have success from other dating apps!!!

Do not waste your money on this god awful app. The women are all fake and scammers. Also the app doesn’t work on iPhones and never loads or it makes you restart your account over and over again and it still won’t load. Biggest waste of 10 bucks. Don’t waste your time.

Disappointed

I’ll keep this short and to the point. Too many people located in other states. When you do match with someone you have to pay to see who you matched with. Other apps have way more people near you and when you match you can see them and message them for free.

Don’t expect much

I tried it for a week. It was only $10 and I figured “why not?”. Well, I’ll tell you why not. First, the site is glitchy and the spins are deducted even when you spin and profiles don’t show. It seems that the majority of users are just catfishing and setting you up for scams. Out of over a hundred messages, only 2 seem to be who they say they are. I’ll finish out the rest of the week I paid for then delete the app. Don’t waste your time and money.

If you forget your password there’s literally no way to reset it. There is a button. And they will send you an email to supposedly reset it. But all it does is take you back to the main login page. You cannot reset or change it.
