I found this app about 6months ago and started. I have lost 60lbs!! I’m a 37yr old female. Start slow, it takes a few weeks for the hunger to go away completely. I’ve tried so many of the recipes and only didn’t like a few. I’m not a very good cook and like stuff you can make fast so there are lots of choices. I have never felt so good my entire life! I have so much energy which is kinda the opposite of what you would think. I have a thyroid issue so I gained a bunch of weight due to that. I had a really hard time losing weight likely due to that so I can’t say if intermittent fasting was my success or the fact the doc got my meds right. But I do know it has changed how I feel on a daily basis. I’ve continued using the app even though I’m about done with my weight loss. It helps me remember to drink more water, I do use their exercises sometimes and of course the recipes. Haven't had any issues with the app itself, always works. It has everything all in one place instead of using multiple apps. If your looking to give IT fasting a try, this app is the best!!
If you’re new to fasting, this app will be helpful in choosing an option that works for you and learning about the biomechanics of the regime so you can proceed safely and hopefully reach your goals. I am not new to fasting, but was intrigued by the offer of half off the monthly rate. While I was researching the app, that offer timed out and when I went to pay for it, it had switched back to the full rate. I now was invested so proceeded to use the app to start an intermittent fast. In the first day I was disappointed that it only tracks steps, hydration, weight and the hours you need to wait to eat. They give you recipes to try when it is time to eat, but the nutritional components that really add to the success of fasting are overlooked by not helping you track them: calories, fat, protein and carbs. I quickly realized it would mostly be a timer for me. There’s a lengthy refund policy, which I read and made sure I adhered to in case this now double the price app didn’t live up to my expectations. After the obligatory 14 consecutive days logging my fast, I contacted the company to request a refund. They responded quickly, but will neither honor a full refund, nor a reduction in that monthly charge citing the necessity of sending them a screenshot of the half price offer. That happened 18 days ago! Done with this app. I have a timer on my watch that costs nothing. Again, not for seasoned fasters.
Scam- will charge despite cancelling through Apple
I downloaded this app a couple months back and purchased a subscription. I canceled said subscription through Apple (the subscriptions page under settings) a couple weeks into trying it as it wasn’t the best fit for me. I just woke up to being charged $53 and some change from them. I have reported the charge through my bank, I have to get an entire new bank account and I have bills due tomorrow. DO NOT USE THIS APP. I’m thoroughly disappointed as I’d really love to know how the DIRECTLY took my money out when it should’ve been an Apple charge but instead was a direct charge from them. Something very fishy going on here. Not to mention, I’m certain the last time I tried the full benefits it was around $20/month. Anyways, please heed my warning. Under NO circumstances use this app. You just may end up like me - on a 2-3 day delay until your new card arrives when 2 bills are due tomorrow. UPDATE: I have reported this app to Apple. I am contacting my lawyer tomorrow regarding the legalities of them taking banking information and charging despite a cancelled subscription. Will update when I know what next legal course is to be taken. Upon seeing the many reviews of people being scammed, I decided I will willingly pay my lawyer (of course when my new card arrives-ugh!) to look into this and start a case against this company.
The Fast Easy App is exactly what it says: an easy way to fast! During COVID I gained quite a bit of weight. I tried several different diets, but felt deprived, defeated and very frustrated! I had given up trying and decided to schedule an appointment to get medical (Rx) help. Fortunately, I saw an ad for FastEasy, checked it out and thought I might as well give it a try before using medication to lose weight. Much to my surprise, I found intermittent fast (using the Fast Easy App) very successful! At first I tried the 16:8 fast, ate whatever I wanted, didn’t really exercise, yet I started losing weight. I am not an overnight success story, but my weight loss has been slow and steady. I started late April and as of today, I’ve lost 20 lbs 4 oz. I’ve switched to the 18:6 fast, do not feel deprived or hungry! I’ve started eating much better, exercising more and I feel fantastic! I’ve adopted intermittent fasting using the FastEasy App as a lifestyle choice! I highly recommend the FastEasy App. There are so many helpful tips, recipes, reminders, statistics to help you on your journey to better health!
I’ve tried apps that I can live with to help with my health, even an employer paid and sponsored program and so many others. I’m NOT a big eater. Had chemo and radiation with continued nausea, at times, and I’m still on so many dehydrating medications by mouth after 8 years of survival. While I realize hydration is my KEY, it’s next to impossible to get enough. There are days I fast because I’m NOT hungry. All the apps and programs most concentrated on food, eating, counting, cooking….I got discouraged, (and half nauseated), always considering FOOD. This app feels streamlined, fresh, easy, and, in my case, NOT about food. Amazingly comforting in my case. All about hydration and not eating, which doesn’t bother me at all. I have days I can’t eat. You’d think I’d lose weight like a boss. Nah, the hypothyroid issues keep that from happening. (Sorry for the ORGAN RECITAL). I like the app very much and I’m hoping to feel better.
If I could give zero stars I would. I downloaded this app a little over a month ago and tried it out for about a week or two. It wasn’t the right fit so I canceled my subscription and deleted the app, no problem. However this morning I open my bank app to see a charge from FastEasy, for thirty one dollars. I was appalled and confused as I had cancelled my account so I wasn’t sure why I received the charge. I looked up my account online and was shocked to see it was still active. Since I had canceled it I’m not sure how that could be, so I reached out in a very respectful way to discuss and request a refund. I was belittled and told they would not process a refund and accused me of not canceling or not reading the terms and agreements. I explained that there must have been a technical error because I did sign up but I also did cancel and I don’t have the extra money in my budget for this monthly charge, and on top of that I haven’t used the app in a month anyway. They were just extremely rude and refuse to refund me. I do not recommend this app to anyone and I definitely don’t recommend even attempting to get in contact with them as they are just going to be disrespectful and unprofessional anyway.

Surprise, surprise- one month later I got charged an annual subscription. Wrote back immediately while the charge was still pending, but a guy (who is i am assuming the owner) refused to issue a refund, and instead offered a lifetime subscription (ahem, no thank you!) Apparently cancelling through Apple ID is not enough. You have to go to their website and cancel there as well. Wish this was made clear from the beginning…I am sure he is making a fortune with cases like mine. Here is your warning - DO NOT TRUST! Updated: the developer’s response is fake - just to give you an impression that he cares. Not true! I have communicated with then extensively and they bluntly refused a refund. This app is so dumb that it offered a date that you can lose a certain weight by and then it went to a whole different thing. It may as well just offer you eat frog legs and gizzards when it tells you to go buy tofu and some kind of tofu noodles I’ve never heard of. I would have to go to six hours worth of work to shop just follow the app. It’s the dumbest thing ever, do not purchase it. You can just Google fast on the Internet and get more out of it than this app. As soon as I saw it I immediately wanted a refund because of how it missed stated information what you were getting and they gave you these recipes with food you wouldn’t even eat with a 10 foot stick. And then they refuse to give you the money back but then he offer me a lifetime policy on it now if I didn’t want telhe dang out for five minutes why do I want it for a lifetime LOL it made no sense whatsoever. We can’t give you back your $25 but will let you have the app for a lifetime. Give me a break. And then it asks you to pick a name to display so I decided to pick don’t get this and it says it’s already taken so that tells you all about it all you need to know! SCAM FRAUD ALERT can I try to use the nickname dumb app it said that’s taken too 😂😂😂
I love this app. It is easy and flexible. It allows you to really try out and find which level of fast works with you. I started out with the longer fast time and found it was unideal for my schedule and ended up lowered the time of fast from 20hrs, to 18hrs to last 14hrs. I obviously lost weight fast with the 20 hr fast but it was not working with my outrageous work schedule. With fasting my sugar levels were improved, which was the reason for me to join this fasting quest to begin with; although even though I have improved with my water intact, sugar levels and eating habits, I will have to end my journey, because I just found out that I am pregnant. If it were not for that, I would definitely love to continue my fast journey, but for now that will need to wait. I love this app, and its makers are so accessible when you need help, they even contact you after the issue is resolved just to make sure you are still ok. This is worth the subscriptions, and I will be back. Thank you FastEasy for the amazing short, but very positive journey. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I had attempted to cancel my subscription, and according to the website was successful and would have access to the subscription through the remainder of current period which ended on Nov. 22. I decided to take a screenshot, as I was sure that I had cancelled previously but was still getting charged. On nov. 22nd, today, I was once again charged for the month of Dec. The subscription status page now stated that my subscription had been cancelled and I would have access until Dec. 23. I reached out to customer support immediately after receiving the charge with my screenshots, and asked for assistance. Support stated that my subscription has already been cancelled, but stated they do not issue refunds. This is ridiculous, as the cancellation button was no longer even visible since I had already cancelled prior. Maybe it was a bug, but regardless that is not the fault of the customer. The cost was not high, but I can’t imagine how frustrating it would have been had I auto-charged for a yearly subscription that I had been told was cancelled.

The Instagram ad promised a personalized plan to follow if you fill out the form. I’m not sure what they did with that info, but the app is not personalized at all. They don’t email the plan to you and you have to select a fasting plan after you get in. There isn’t any kind of nutrition or workout tracker so I’m not sure what kind of personalized plan they are promising. Also, they won’t refund your money even though they don’t give you what was advertised. They cite their “refund policy” which is binding upon purchasing or using the app, even though it’s not presented before purchase. Asking for a refund involves proving you used their personalized plan for 14 days, which they never send to your email or load into the app, so it’s impossible to do. I’ve reported the ad as a scam and I’ve requested a refund through my card. Buyer beware!! The Apple App Store should investigate this app and remove it. Response to Developer: As I stated, they do not give refunds. “Alex” from customer service and his manager “Peter” treat you like an idiot and engage in gaslighting. They are rude and condescending.
I’ve just gotten exhausted with apps (like this one) that aren’t explicitly clear on how much they will cost or if there is a free trial until after they’ve asked you to answer a long list of questions (what is your height? Weight? Sex? Name? Weight loss goal? Dietary restrictions? Etc. etc. etc.). Only after they ask you those questions do they then let you know that it’s $20 per month, and there’s no free trial and no free version with reduced features. I actually am fine with paying for quality apps and there are quite a few that I do pay for, I just don’t like the lack of clarity around what the cost structure is until after they’ve wasted a bunch of my time. I chose not to commit $20 to this app since I couldn’t even test it out to see if it was worthwhile. There are other intermittent fasting apps that allow you to use basic features for free and then upgrade to the paid plan if you’d like to. That’s what I’m choosing to use instead of this app and it’s been a great experience with the other app. Best of luck to you on your fasting journey!
Is this literally the only way to get a response from support? This paid service supports various methods of intermittent fasting with a countdown timer and short articles about fasting and nutrition. It’s helpful to be held accountable for drinking enough water. But the UE is barely average beyond that. Numerous emails to support went unanswered. Statistics are literally drawn from data the app logged incorrectly. (I see two days in my stats when the app confirmed that I fasted beyond my goal as I entered my eating window, yet stats now show goal not met?) There is no historical data beyond the beginning of the calendar week. You cannot go back and review your intake quiz/starting premises. There is no breakdown or analysis of food intake, even though you are asked to qualify everything you eat in the app. You’re left to review journal entries, which should be searchable and displayed on several metrics. For instance, I should be able to see how many home cooked meals I’ve eaten over any period, how many mornings I drank coffee before breaking my fast, how many meals eaten at work etc. I’ve been asked to GIVE the app that data. Now give it back to me please! I’m doing IF now, in the middle of my regime. If things don’t improve soon I will end this experiment with EF, ask for money back, and rate it two stars. I see no excuse for such a shoddy performance.

I have been using this app for about 10 days. I initially lost about 7 pounds after day 8. The last two days I put two pounds back on because I waa so hungry I ate a couple of meals with larger portions. So, even though the system seems to work you still have to eat small portions and watch what you eat. The app has stopped the weight gain. I was packing it on pretty good. The fact that I don't eat after dinner has helped a lot. And, I really don't have to much of a problem going 14 to 16 hours. But, there will be days you will feel really hungry so stay alert. I will say that when you look at the first graphic called (Visible Results with Fasting) if you think you are going to see that kind of change from WEEK 1 to WEEK 3 you are dreaming. Not possible! But, so far so good. I'm committed. We shall see how things go in a couple of monnths.
I downloaded this and did the free trial. When the renewal date approached, I decided I didn’t want to pay the monthly fee, so I contacted the company to not charge me and cancel my account. I never heard from them. They attempted to charge me 2x unsuccessfully, so I emailed again requesting to cancel and not be charged. I never heard back from them. I then was charged the fee, somehow. I immediately chatted in to the live chat with GARY and was told they can’t help me with refunds, and to wait for his “COLLEAGUE TO CONTACT ME VIA EMAIL” - which makes no sense as the live chat has a “refund” option. I chatted for about 45 minutes, and just kept getting the run around, until Gary no longer could help me and I got Irene in the chat. Irene just kept Repeating herself, “one of our colleagues will contact you via email within 24 hours” - I called my bank and put a stop payment on the transaction and reported it as fraud. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS OR GIVE YOUR CONSENT TO CHARGE. The only way I will get my money back is the dispute with my bank at this point.

This is a glorified timer at best. That’s basically all it is. I was hoping for much more becuas they ask you so many questions in the beginning that you think they’re gonna provide something but it’s not much. I like the recipes but it’s nothing I couldn’t look up online. I guess it’s cool because you can pick what kind of foods you usually eat and they will give you recipes based on that. But again, nothing that can’t be found by doing a Google search. There’s an app called Lose It! And you can pay for the premium version for a year for less than their 3 month option. And it will give you a fasting timer along with calorie counter, macronutrient counter, and you can enter your exercises and update your weight. For the price, this app does very very little. If all you’re looking to do is fast that’s easy to track on your own. Don’t waste your money on this.
Buyer beware - misleading tactics and reliance on “fine print”
I purchased a plan with the understanding that there were free refunds within 30 days. That was what the big print said right next to the place I provided my credit card information. When I applied for a refund only a little later that same evening (having decided against intermittent fasting as a potentially unhealthy approach for me) - my refund was denied. I was directed to a long policy I had apparently agreed to when opening the app. The policy contains several detailed conditions to qualify for a refund that do not match my circumstances They are unwilling to make any exceptions, ever. While they offered me extended membership, that is not what I requested, and not of use to me, as I have concluded that intermittent fasting is not a healthy approach for me in light of my health conditions Classic case of luring you in with the big print and changing the game with the small print. Terrible tactics for a company that is ostensibly there to help people. So disappointing.
Very poor / unclear user agreement & customer service
I bought this app on a whim when I was very sick and then checked with my doctor and learned that fasting wasn’t a healthy option for me. The automatic renewal went through and I was told I couldn’t get any of my almost $50 in charges back, even though I never used the app. They said I need to prove that I didn’t get the results that they said I would get in order to get my money back. The best health apps out there have clear user agreements and clarity around who should fast and who shouldn’t, checking with your doctor first, etc. This company appears to be struggling financially and their health recommendations are not approved by most sane medical professionals, hence the back and forth about not reimbursing me for even one month. I didn’t even ask for the initial month to be reimbursed and I took responsibility for that, but they just are trying to get your money until you realize their recommendations are in fact not healthy.
Looks like my negative reviews are going to get lost in all of the other negative reviews out there. You folks have an issue with the way you roll out this application and the other subscriptions there of. At first, I thought it was just me, but after reading all of the other reviews, I realized that there are obviously some deceptive practices in your subscription process. You have two choices, either correct them and refund those folks that were sucked into it, like me, or continue to carry on in the same unethical manner. Your call. There are other fasting apps out there. Stay away from this one. Their subscription website is very confusing and before you know it, you’re paying for your monthly membership in addition to a number of other one time purchases that they refused to refund on. If you feel like giving your money away, feel free to do so otherwise stay away there are other choices out there.
I thought I’d try this out to see if I liked it, I believe there was a 3 day free trial (I could be wrong but I think there was), after a few days I had never even opened the app so I decided to cancel, here is where the trouble starts!! First within a week I had 3 charges from this company all of different amounts and I have now been trying repeatedly to cancel and while I have been told that I have indeed canceled my account I keep getting charged. Even upon showing proof of my cancellation email they still had a reason for not refunding my money. Also it seems extremely suspicious to me that each time I deal with someone at this “company” it’s the same guy “Alex” so either this “company” has a weird practice of hiring only people named Alex or this is some guy in his basement ripping people off, refusing to give them their money back even when he is blatantly stealing it- BEST NEVER TO DOWNLOAD IT! I’ve noticed I’m not the only one to have these problems so BEWARE!!
In no way is this app worth a cost of any kind. At best, it’s a basic timer and tracker — and not a good one at that. If you miss a day, it’s very clunky to add any fasting details back in, and it’s completely impossible to EDIT a fasting window once you’ve recorded it. There’s no logic built into it — for example, I forgot to “turn off” a fasting window, and the hours racked up to 53+. When I finally clicked “end fast” the app told me “HOORAY! You fasted for 53 hours. How do you feel??” Another time I accidentally double recorded on the same date and the app showed I fasted for 35 hours on July 11. It’s worthless. Find something better. One other note: I haven’t experienced the fraud/spam issues that many others are reporting. I paid for a trial, realized it wasn’t worth it, emailed them and cancelled it. Got a friendly confirmation email and haven’t been charged since.

It’s a good idea of an app however the execution leaves everything to be desired. What subscription tab does not have a cancel subscription button? This one. And the FAQ tab to cancel subscription takes you to the subscription tab that does not let you cancel. Go figure. On top of that this subscription does not appear in my apple subscriptions so I can’t cancel that way. Also, like others have said when reaching out they offered a lifetime subscription but dodged the questions I sent about how to cancel and a refund. Check their BBB and find a lot of complaints, should have checked sooner. I do like the simplicity of use on it. The articles are meh, easy to log hydration and check fasting time. But is this worth $30/mo? No, go to another app that does the same for less, even free ones. Also, this one does not track calories which for the price you think they could add.
If you are looking to just see if you like it through the trial period thinking you won’t be charged if you cancel on or before your week is up, I would recommend not doing it. I looked at the app the day I signed up for the trial week and I didn’t look at it again. On the last day of my trial week by 3 am I was already charged $30. I emailed to try to get a refund and was told no refunds, purchases are final but they will instead offer you a year for free! So they won’t refund $30 but they instead will lose much more then $30 by giving a year for free.
I really love this app! I’ve had it for a week and I’ve already had so much improvement in regards to energy levels, and it’s helped me lose 4 pounds! I love the updates on drinking water (which I can never keep in mind), and I love the workouts that are not only quick but easy to do at home. My only problem with the app that keeps me from giving it 4 stars is that the recipes have no search function, nor can you save them so you can go back to it later. If you saw a recipe and wanted to go back to it, it might be pure luck if you see it again. But I love that there’s a large library of recipes, the selection is nice as some of them I wouldn’t normally consider or think of.
The app isn’t helpful. Fasting didn’t help me lose weight so I quit using the app. I have now been charged 53$ for a new 3 month subscription that I don’t remember signing up for. I for sure wouldn’t agree to that price for 3 month knowing that the app isn’t even helpful. It basically a timer If you purchase online you can’t see the subscription or manage it on the app. Just another way to hide stuff from you. They say there is a 30 day money back guarantee but it’s not true. When asking for refund they just send you all the ridiculous policy that basically say they aren’t responsible for anything! Set your own timer and track all the same stuff on a good app like my fitness pal. It’s free!!! You can get the premium version on my fitness pal for a whole year for around 70$. Way better deal and it has so many features! This app wants to take your money and is no help!
I could definitely do this other ways but wanted to give this a try. I’m confused as to why there are NO recipes that contain meat of ANY kind - just tofu. Secondly, the insights for fasting are almost always showing “did not meet goal” yet I certainly did meet goal each of the days which is confirmed in my profile for fasting. This does not encourage positive reinforcement if users are doubting what they did. An email to support asked me to send screen shots which I did. An email from Alex came back and told me i should have set up my personal goals and starting weight, age, etc, WHICH I DID! When I replied back to say that I did that when I set up the app, it responded thank you and to reach out if I needed any future support. Is AI customer support? Or is customer support not really reading support contacts? Frustrating to say the least.
Hi everyone, I decided I wanted to try intermittent fasting so I downloaded this app. To be quite honest I was happy with the app until I ironically tried to cancel from my weekly subscription to a monthly one. I contacted them and was told to cancel my current subscription in order to upgrade to the one I wanted. That’s where the problem began. I have been trying to cancel my subscription for over two weeks now, I reached out to them plenty of times through emails. Even though I was emailing that I’d like to cancel my subscription they continue charging me weekly. No further responses to my emails in regards to canceling was answered. I had to call my credit card company to remove them, I will be deleting the app and looking for a new one, I can’t deal with apps or companies that don’t stick by their word.
Initially I found the app to be easy to use. It was pretty much a no-brainer anyhow in terms of knowing what times were your fasting times. But as I used it more I found it to be very basic and no longer necessary. They are pretty tricky in auto-charging you after the initial sign up (similar to other apps). I got the email notice of the renewal and immediately (within 60 seconds) notified them that I did not wish to continue with subscription. They've refused to refund. Offered another year of subscription (which isn't worth anything to me since I don't use app). So they kept my $49. I can imagine they've done this to MANY others. Guess that's how they make money from the app. Very disappointed in their business practice.
The price for this program is a commitment. Unfortunately, life took a turn on me (I’m writing this from a heart hospital), and this app was not the lofty priority it was at first. Since I had not been recently using it, I missed my opportunity to cancel and was charged more than I can afford for something I didn’t use. I asked for a refund, but was told NO. They, instead, offered an extra year of membership for free. To me, that’s the sign of a company that doesn’t have the most confidence in their product. They’ve a reason to doubt. Update: I was contacted by the company. They sent me a long email that would’ve made any lawyer look lazy! To not allow a refund on the day your bank notifies you of the withdrawal, and you’re in the hospital with heart issues…very poor customer relations! “Apology” rejected!
At first I was excited for this app as I liked the idea of it keeping me accountable. Come to find out it’s just really a glorified stopwatch I can do with me phone. The recipes which at first I was super excited about as it tailored to your preferences until I find out has only vegetarian recipes, and many are the same ideas for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I was super excited for the idea of this app especially because of the potential help it could be for helping me control my pcos. It took my 9 year old to say it sounds like a scam when I decided to cancel my trial and saw the price was so high. Like you are so greedy to take that amount from people. Why not make it free and build up to that model if you really want to. WW app charges less than this and offers so much more. You had the potential for a customer lost that.
The app does nothing other than add a timer which your phone already does have plenty of timers, the account does not sync to your Apple accounts so when checking my subscriptions this never showed until I had a random charge on my account after the app was deleted then wasted an entire day with their customer support or lack there of for them to state no refunds, we email all this supposedly PDFs which they don’t, hence why I had nothing and had to google the charge to even track where it was coming from, and they over charge ridiculous amounts for timers your already up to date phone can do, seriously do not waste any money there is nothing of use from this company just taking money for garbage they never send but blurb they claim to send
Be aware, if you have a subscription. You will only see it in the app. You will not see it under your Apple Subscriptions. I thought I canceled, and I even deleted the app. Later, I was charged 8.99. I did not have a subscription in the app store. I had to download the app, login in, to find out I still had a subscription. I canceled again, disputed with Apple card, and requested a reversal. You can't see any features unless you pay for it. It says at the beginning that there's some trial time, but it is entirely false. As soon as I pressed the trial option I got charged around $26. I tried the app for two days and didn't like it because it is too simple for all the things I want to do, so I canceled the subscription in their website. Contacted them by customer service asking for a refund and they replied through email saying that the refund is not possible because the only way they do a refund (according to their policy) is if there is some kind of failure. I understand that if you have been using the app and already went through the free trial and liked it, but I used it for 2 days only and didn't like it at all. Almost $30 lost. Please, save your time and your money.
I just want to first say THANK YOU! For creating this app. I have been looking forever for an app like this. I have been using it about a week now and I haven’t been very productive and consistent, keep my fast. For some reason, this app makes it easy to fast. I signed up with a 50% discount for 3 months! So many of the bad reviews are because people don’t like to pay for anything, I like that you HAVE to pay SOMETHING because when your money is involved, you will utilize it, instead of just getting a free trial and never using it. The subscription was marked down TREMENDOUSLY AND FOR 3 MONTHS? The bad reviews could definitely sway someone’s decision, but I assure you that this app is NOT a scam, very useful. They give you the ability to track water intake, they give you meal plans, they give you exercises, and on top of giving you KNOWLEDGE! This is BY FARRRR the best app and I’m so thankful for this. Not worth money. Find a free app that does better.
I put in all the answers to the many questions but none of them were addressed in FastEasy. It’s the same milky app for everyone. I told in the questions that I was keto, but the recipes ignore that. I told them I eat meat, but the recipes ignore that. There is no place to put in the exercise I do apart from walking and even that doesn’t count for me since I don’t always have my phone in my pocket. It doesn’t count my biking and there is no place to add my exercise. The only thing I can see this app doing is keeping track of my weight, water and fasting periods (which doesn’t even count unless you remember to go in and click when you start and stop. I would ABSOLUTELY get my money back for such a simple app, but that is not allowed (read the small print).
Good luck, after you purchase this, when trying to cancel. It doesn’t have any way to do it via the app or thru your apple account. They don’t send you a receipt or email with any instructions how to cancel. I canceled immediately when they finally sent me a receipt for the $45 renewal! Yep $45. But now I can have it for free according to them. Big deal. Total money grab and scam. Edit: I did contact the support team and they refused to refund my money. And the key word In your response is BEFORE you sign up. After you sign up you never provided a receipt or any information on how to cancel. So the only time you see that info is on a screen one time as you sign up in small letters at the bottom. Never to be seen again. I invite everyone to view your app and try to figure out how to cancel.
If I could enter a 0 star rating I would. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing this useless app and being charged $46! After the first day of having the app I logged into my subscriptions to cancel it immediately so I would not be charged again. I could accomplish the same thing by setting a couple of alarms on my phone. After cancelling the subscription I wasn’t expecting to be charged for a renewal, but then a month later I was sent a receipt for the auto renewal. I immediately reached out to the customer service and they told me I should have called to cancel, so they would not be able to process a refund, but they would offer me lifetime access to their piece of crap app… no thank you!! They should not be allowed to charge for this useless app. Don’t fall for the scam!
It’s a timer. That’s it. You click when you started fasting and when you stop, I already don’t eat sfter 5 or before ten. It doesn’t count calories at all! How does doing what I’m already doing help me lose weight?! I asked for a refund, as the app offers nothing I didn’t already know (a calorie defecit plan is what I was going for. I’m actually a personal trainer who had a catastrophic injury and went through a depression and gained 20lb. I thought some community, accountability, etc would help me get back to where I was, and the app seemed to be asking the right questions, but it doesn’t give much sfter that. I know no one loses weight without calorie deficit and this isn’t even addressed on the app! How are people losing 60lbs just not eating after dinner?!
I am actually excited about getting started with IF. However, I am NOT a vegan or vegetarian and I cannot seem to find any recipes with meat or chicken. I originally entered Keto as my diet preference but when there were no meat options I changed it to Paleo, but still no meat. I went back to the food preferences thinking that I missed something and there are NO meat 0or even fish options under protein. I CANNOT eat strictly vegan or vegetarian. What am I doing wrong? I really want this app to work for me but I am fearing I will have to cancel my subscription. EasyFast, please reply!
Continued charges after I cancelled my subscription.
I have cancelled my subscription and deleted my account. However, Fast and Easy continues to charge my account monthly. I’ve spoke with my end and they said I might have to close my entire account to stop charges, but that would be a heck of a hassle, and to try to speak with the company. Of course, I don’t have an account with them, because I cancelled it.. so no one knows what I am talking about when I call them. Fix this please. This app really just wasn’t for me, nothing negative to say other than I couldn’t afford to make some of the meals suggested.. but that isn’t the apps fault. But the customer service is awful and frustrating.
I signed up for a free 7 day trial during which I decided this was not the app for me. I’m not new to fasting and I didn’t want to pay for a timer. The timer on my phone or calendar alerts work better and don’t require a subscription. Now the catch is, you cannot get out of this free trial without paying for the subscription! I canceled through the app and apparently that wasn’t enough, I had to contact them as well according to the very fine print, so they charged my card and did not cancel my subscription. They will come up with every excuse under the sun to justify this scam and you will not get a refund. So DO NOT BE FOOLED, there is no “trial” period. Unless you’re willing to pay a monthly fee for a timer, I do not recommend using this app.
I wanted to try out this app because I heard some good things about it. However, I cancelled my subscription with them because I had bills to pay. I could not afford 50 + dollars on an app that I hardly even use. I deleted it and all, and I got charged. I told them about it and all they said was all sales are final. Talk about a scam, the only thing they offered was a free year of it. Why? If I don’t use it, why would I use it for free for a year? The most helpful thing would have been to refund the purchase. One that I didn’t even need or want. The purchase was declined the first time and it was charged again. This app is a scam, they don’t care. They only care about the money they took from you and won’t give back.
I should’ve known something was off when I was asked to buy a subscription prior to receiving my “custom plan”. I could’ve found the information they charged me $30 for on webMD for free. Then I realized there are zero meat recipes! Only tofu and other expensive veg ingredients that’s extremely hard to find and not sustainable. So after 1 day I asked for my $30 back. Nope! Despite touting “Money back guarantee” all of their website, they have a sneaky little scam of a refund policy tucked away in their terms and conditions that states they don’t issue refunds under these circumstances. This is why I use my credit card 100% of the time when shopping online. You never know when you will get sucked into a scam and I know Chase has my back!
I recently signed up for the app and like the majority of what it offers in terms of fasting. However, they also claimed to offer recipes specific to your diet and lifestyle. After filling out the questionnaire I realized they don’t allow you to choose meat products of any kind. The protein section included eggs, and plant proteins only so all recipes generated for you are vegetarian and vegan. It’s fine to be either of those things, but it’s not what I choose to intake for my protein source. I think it would have been prudent to state that recipes they offer are vegetarian and vegan only so that people like myself can make an informed decision on whether or not this plan will work for them.
The app is impossible to cancel. There will be no email sent about an upcoming payment being taken out. If you inquire with customer service they will reply back letting you know all the terms and agreements including payment are done in the beginning when you first sign up. They offered me LIFETIME access after I said I wanted to cancel 🤣🤣🤣 I think it’s pretty much a scam on their end. They get at least $50 - $60 off you before you can cancel. I appreciate all the apps through the App Store who allow you to manage the subscription through your settings. Applications such as this that “hide” your upcoming payments definitely know they are scamming. I see that there are so many reviews with the same issue. Please resolve!
