I don’t think I have ever successfully logged in with my credentials on the first try. The app is constantly making you change your login information and even after you change it, you can’t get in. This problem has been existing for well over a year. No other app that I have is this adapt at the basic login function. If you ever can get into the app, it’s fairly user-friendly. But who would know that, since you can’t log in!
As others have reviewed, this app changes passwords so often it’s hard to enjoy features. Very frustrating. I have deleted app several times because of this. Overall user friendly but other than that useless.
Every time I go to login, it wants me to change my password. And, it never updates. Keeps asking me to enter new password, then it doesn’t accept them. Tells me to create a new account. After going through all the steps to create new account, it tells me I can’t have another account with the same email address. No other app requires me to change password every six months. Next open season, I will have to reconsider staying with GEHA.
The constant password change requirement makes this app a royal pain. How often do you think people need to look at their health insurance app anyway? Seems like I have to change the password each and every time I want to access my information. Then, once in, it’s a crapshoot as to whether or not any detail is available on a claim. Usually there is not. This app has gotten progressively worse instead of better.
The app crashes every single time I try to log in. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled. Still no dice. I see I’m not the only person with this issue. What gives? And why is the only response from the “developer” is to say to a handful of reviewers that they can’t access before the policy is active. Why doesn’t the “developer” address the hoards of other reviewers, like me? My policy is active. Please fix this app so it can be used.
I have been a member for years. It used to be a message about API but I knew I could wait a few hours and try again. Now the connection says can’t connect to server…all day! More importantly what happened to FaceID because now I have to keep figuring out which of the many passwords I’ve had to save for the various GEHA platforms is used for the app. Please fix it!
The app crashes every 5 to 10 mins and does not stay logged in even after checking off the remember me box. Cannot search for providers because the app crashes too much. All the $$$ we pay and the company can’t provide a reliable app. I will be changing my family dental insurance this fall!
What is wrong with this app? Every time I login I need to create a new account. I try to ask for help and it won’t let me put in any info for my birthdate, so it won’t let me ask for help. It’s so frustrating. It feels like GEHA doesn’t want to be helpful but keeping us away with technology. I shouldn’t have to call in every time I need something.
The update seemed to have helped for enabling logging in. However, it’s very basic. I wish they also had a feature where you can send the ID card to smart wallet, like Kasier.
I’m shocked that GEHA’s name is even associated with this “app”, if that’s what you want to call it. It crashes constantly, I have been unable to login to the app EVER, but at least I can log in to the website on my laptop. GEHA really should do something about this … like hire a new app developer. First time as a GEHA Member, not impressed with this JUNK.

This app is garbage! Every attempt to log in ends in frustration and contemplating why I haven’t changed insurance companies. Doesn't seem like GEHA can keep up with technology to ensure customers have a working app to manage their care and account.
Useless if cannot login. API error through the app, but no issue logging in from a web browser on iPhone. Provide update for insurance card to be saved in Apple Wallet would be extremely useful.
If you could log in, it displays basic insurance information as you would expect. For me, each time Face ID is enabled the app crashes rendering it unusable but seems to be ok when I log in without Face ID.
It just spins and spins. And spins. My only hope is that they’re building a brand new app which is why they’re ignoring this one. We switched from Standard to High Option coverage this year, but unfortunately the app is the same. Sigh.
I was excited to get the GEHA app. It doesn’t work very well. GEHA needs to make updates with speed and efficiency. I cannot get to any of my items to view because it’s stuck in spinning mode. Very slow.
The app just auto closes each time I try to log in. Tried username/password and Face ID options. Even tried reinstalling. Literally can’t use it at all.
Bounced around trying to create a password the system will accept and ultimately am told to call customer service. Hopefully paper billing is reliable.
This app does not have the practical functionality that I expect and need from a health insurance company app in the year 2019. For instance, I can’t search for providers, I can’t send secure messages to GEHA, and I can’t search my claims history. I’m glad GEHA finally has an app, but I’m still very disappointed in it and I expect more out of this app for it to actually be useful. I hope GEHA is actively working on incorporating more usable features behind the basic information that is currently available in the app.
I am not able to get in the app. I’ve called Geha support 4 times. No one has called me back. So, maybe writing a bad review will make someone call me. Kimberly Parker
Can’t login. I maybe was able to login once but this app is so frustrating! Hope you have a computer to see your account. Something about an API error. I deleted my previous app, downloaded again but still not able to login.
I’ve tried multiple times to log in and I get an error. I uninstalled and reinstalled still does the same thing. It would be nice if the app was further developed. It was handy to have your cards on your phone as a backup. Reply to the developers: Thanks for the response. I use the key chain to log in so it isn’t typed incorrectly. When I go to log in it says “ERROR!”At the top of the dialog box. In the box it says “an error occurred during authentication.” I have no issues logging in through Safari and had no issues logging in initially the first time (when it worked) then using Touch ID. I think it is an app issue. I logged in today using Safari using key chain. Just tried again with the app same error.
So glad this app exist. It performed better than expected
I’m impressed about with GEHA rolling out this mobile app. I was concerned app would turn to be a gimmick but it performed solidly. Probably I got lucky with logging in today compared to other people’s experience. BOTTOM LINE: I wouldn’t re-enroll with health insurance company that does not innovate by providing an app like this one which makes access to plan information easy and straightforward. No one has time to fumble through webpages when app gives straight access.
Can’t even get past the login screen properly. FaceID doesn’t work. Fails to authenticate. Bare bones info and it isn’t even current. Provider search is cumbersome and doesn’t retain your info, so you have to repeatedly enter the same info over and over. It can’t even remember your state. If you click on a map or something, then go back, it will reset the entire process and make you start over. It logs you out while you are actively using the app. I haven’t seen an app this bad since the iPhone was first released. I would have submitted developer feedback instead of a review, but that too doesn’t work right.
I think there's something wrong with this app. It does not let me log in to view my account, It constantly closes out. I've tried to uninstall it and reinstall the app but I'm getting the same exact problem. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP!!! I need view my medical ID.
Easy to use. I don’t have to carry my insurance card, I can fax or email my card to the provider right from the app. I see everything I need plus more. I can monitor my claims right from my phone from anywhere. If there is a dispute and the provider says I owe I can go to the app and look it to see exactly what I need to pay.
No real complaints. It’s as good as any other insurance app I’ve ever had. One thing that would be nice is being able to save my insurance card to Apple Wallet but that’s not a particularly pressing problem.
The new ‘login experience’ on this app is terrible. The app now pushes you to create a new account and pushes you to the web site which allows me to login without issue. Returning to the app with the same information results in account not found. The app wasn’t great to begin with but now it is all but useless. If I could rate lower than a one I would. Trash.
Unless you only need a copy of your card, this app is pointless. It does not have any claim information and no coverage information -- nothing but a copy of your card and a provider lookup feature.
Basic as it was, it used to at least work. Now I receive an error that says there was an error connecting with the server and to contact them if the error persists (no information provided on how to contact). So here is your notification.
I keep getting an error message when trying to log in. I know for a fact that I’m putting in my correct credentials to log in, but still doesn’t work. I go on safari and log in through their site with no problems. The app on the other hand is complete garbage, it doesn’t work.
Won’t let me sign in most of the time. When it finally does there’s nothing there. No content at all. Keeps bouncing me back and forth between logging in and creating a new account. Nice looking graphics in the App Store, but haven’t been able to see them in real life.
After having to create a new account with a new email (previous email wouldn’t reset password) finally got to login on the app and it crashes 100% of the time after logging in
This app is useless. More than half the time there are log in issues and if by some miracle you are able to log in, there is no functionality. Online website is not much better.
