Go Gaia

This is a big step compared to the previous app. However, a lot of the futures barely work. While playing lake kindred: -App is too big for screen -Bugs out to the point I can’t interact with buttons in app -Having 4 pets will stop you from being able to interact with anything on the home portion of the game. Rendering it impossible to play -Having 2 pets will cause the “My kins” tab to freeze the game forcing a restart -Item pictures won’t show up in your in game inventory While using the general app: -Inventory won’t allow you to open boxes ore presents (pretty much anything requiring the inventory section is broken) -Several functions related to the forums aren’t implemented yet (viewing anything in the ... submenu -Cat walk doesn’t load -Shop only includes the cash shop -Avatar isn’t present at the home screen (is it supposed to? We may never know.) Ending thoughts: This app has a ton of potential. Once the unimplemented portions are added, it will make this app better by at least 50%. I’ve been having a ton of fun with Lake Kindred before I hit the soft lock, pleeeeeease fix that. I have been with this community for the better part of a decade. I’ve been a member since 2005 and I have to say I’m pretty content with the app so far. This was the kind of thing we asked for way back when and I’m glad to see it finally coming to fruition. However, there are a lot of things to work on and some missing key features, like the Marketplace. The Forum is much better than the last app but the aesthetic is not there. I feel like Gaia is going for a more Facebook-y look and it’s just not doing it for me. It destroys a lot of the artists creativity in the art shops and makes things a bit difficult to navigate because everything looks the same. I would have preferred they stick to the original forum formula and stay as true to the desktop version as possible, with the avatars showing and options to Favorite, go to user profiles, etc. Maybe find a way to make it so that users can press and hold onto an avi and then have a navigation pop up. I will say that changing clothes is more seamless on the app and I’m happy I can easily play dressup whenever I want without waiting for everything to load or a menu to go missing on the Safari browser. Definitely a huge step up and I’ll be using this app for that. I wanna see this thing get better and hopefully bring in more users!

I was just looking at all the comments from Monster galaxy the zodiac islands and exile it seems that the people are begging you to upgrade it to be compatible with iOS 11 i am with them Since it is one of the best games that I have ever played and a lot of people would like you guys to work on it I just searched up your developer names and saw your most recent activity it seems that this game is your most recent activity and I really really really want you guys to upgrade monster galaxy exile and the zodiac islands to be compatible with iOS 11 please hundreds of people are begging and so am i just look in the revs of the monster galaxy game PLEASE SEE THIS i am sorry if this is completely off topic of the game to you guys Just please upgrade...... and respond if you cannot i will understand .......

Definitely a step up from what Gaia on the Go had to offer, but there are key components missing. The chat feature does not work for me, and having the option to look at my messages and notifications would be big. Know that adding user signatures to posts would clutter up the screen pretty bad, but really wish I could see that added too. Love the look of the forums though, so I wouldn’t change much about that. Please keep continuing to add and tweak things, because having a functional app will be what keeps Gaia alive.

It’s not the best app but it’s still really fun and simple to use. I have a really hard time with depression especially at work but now that I’ve rediscovered my love for Gaia online I’ve been given something to look forward to. Once I found out there was an app it was even better!!! Now I can deal with the extreme stresses of work by escaping for a few minutes on my phone and getting to revisit the first game I ever truly got addicted to (besides Star Wars: battlefront on original Xbox... that one was another strong addiction)

Its nice to see the efforts of the gaia team finally coming to fruition, and Im glad that theyre able to make something thats a bit more modernized than the conventional ways of accessing the site. Although, its not perfect you can tell the gaia team put a LOT of effort into making this for everyone and it shows when compared to the old gaia interactive app. You guys have been making great progress and it makes me glad to be part of the community~ thank you so much

I’ve been a player since I was 12 I’m 27 now holy crap is this app garbage I got it just to have Gaia on the go with me since I mostly just buy items and change my outfits!! I paid 8.99 for a special of 1710 Gaia cash it took my money but gave me nothing!!! I reported it to iTunes App Store and demanded a refund with proof that they took the payment out of my bank but never gave me what I paid for!! I also emailed them stating I put in for a refund. HOW DO YOU FIND THIS ACCEPTABLE TO TAKE MONEY BUT NOT GIVE THE PLAYERS WHAT THEY SHOULD GET?! That’s horrible marketing and leaves a bad taste in consumers mouths on the company as a whole! Please fix this and give the cash to the players what they paid for or give them their money back!!

It’s a bit clunky and not everything works right now, but I’m glad they’re finally working on putting a functional app out. 🙂 Very eager to have all the forum stuff working, along with a way to send and receive PM’s. 4 stars for them putting the time into doing it, but we’ll see in due time if I get to make it 5 or if I will have to make it less. 😣 As long as it works like it’s supposed to literally anything will be better than the old app or having to use mobile browser imo.

My history with Gaia is long. My oldest account (not actively used just a keepsake of time spent). Is 3,800+ days old. I’ve played forever and still find myself making new avatars. Anyways, the app.. The dressing room panel is great, the overall layout is amazing. User friendly and everything. As for more reasonable requests... I’d love to see a messages panel, guilds, account settings, market place, and the various “unsupported features” fixed. Maybe the flash games. A more... far fetched idea, zOMG. The ability to play real time with friends cross-platform on zOMG.

I’d really like to see work put into this again, if anything these things I’d like see added. -Forums are great but no notifications about threads or replies makes the app obsolete for forum use, a notification system instead of the dropplr thing (whatever that is). -Access to Marketplace! That’s the main income source for long time playing users, no access to it in the app should have been questionable from the beginning. -My Gaia page instead of Gaia Homepage. All in all if the work continued or kept up I think it would be successful now.

I don’t know who wrote “it’s nice to have a functional app” because it isn’t functional at all whatsoever. You can’t participate in forums, no working chat function, no commenting, you can’t easily navigate the shops, and errors pop up left and right when you tap simple tabs. It’s the least user friendly app I’ve dealt with in a long time. You will have an easier time on an actual browser on your phone than you will with this app. I don’t know what the point of making the app was if it isn’t useable by now. I waited a good bit for updates or improvements and they aren’t happening. I’d give zero stars if possible.

Definitely a couple different bugs that need to be worked out. Hopefully devs will be able to fix them soon. I like the app so far but if things aren’t fixed then I’ll have to quit the Gaia app for a while. Hopefully not though because I miss Gaia so much and was ecstatic to find a mobile app for it, but if some kinks aren’t worked out then my nostalgia won’t be able to keep me using this app. Please please pleeeaaaseeeee do some updates soon!!! 💖💖💖💖💖

I saw this app and thought “why don’t I make online friends while remaining ominous irl”. So I’m still really new to it. I’m glad this exists but there’s a lot of problems: 1: When I click on almost anything it keeps saying “alert feature not yet supported” although I was able to get the app how is it not supported?? 2: When I give something a like it keeps deleting my thumbs up so it just goes back to the number it was 3: When I tried to change my character it wouldn’t let me select the option for a human so I had to reload it. 4: One time I was trying to go into a forum but it kept sending me to a page that explains how the forums work.

It’s insanely basic, you can’t view “my subscriptions” or “my topics” it just notifies you the feature isn’t support yet (what?) but the cash shop works to buy Gaia cash. Go figure. It’s been out long enough you’d think most of it would be functional but no. It’s better than the old app but I’d rather just browse it through the web browser on my phone. Also where is My Gaia? I can’t see friends’ statuses or anything like that. Overall it’s fine it’ll work and you can browse forums at least but it won’t beat mobile browsing.

Its 2021 and nothings really changed. This is a shadow copy of the previous app and I understand why but its still a copy shadow… gaia gotta change both app and site, games should be added to work in app if not in site update and upgrade add new games add new things to do because you’re losing us… app pretty basic and glitchy at times . It’s a great start for a new app! I would obviously love to see more features as would everyone else but so far so good. Everything looks great and seems to work great so far. Would love to see messages,marketplace,guild,town integration as well as daily chance ☺️

You can’t really do anything in this app, the other app had more features and quite honestly worked better. The switchem doesn’t work, can’t trade, can’t gift items. The inventory is the dress up and that feels clunky. The items are loaded as you scroll down and as someone with over 8k items color coded, its impossible to create new looks. There’s probably more issues but this are mine.

Ok I am currently having difficulty with this new update, for some reason I can’t access the chat. I go to the menu and hit the chat icon but nothing happens. Also I have a Samsung tablet and the app works on it even though the tablet is outdated and I have a iPhone 11 and it ain’t working correctly

It’s as if they don’t bother looking at any complaints. I’ve had a ticket filed under them for over a year, maybe two years even and still haven’t heard a single response from them other than an automated response, I’ve been consist in updating the ticket as well and STILL nothing. Don’t bother with this app, or this dying game. They don’t care about a single user on this site, only about pushing items and getting money.

Ive been using Gaia since 2008, and I just recently logged back into my account. I decided to buy Gaia cash and bought two different packs. It’s been days, it’s not in my account and contacting them has done nothing. I’ve sent proof of purchase twice now or so and they still haven’t gotten back to me. It’s very frustrating. I still like Gaia on the computer but now I know not to buy Gaia cash ever. I don’t trust it.

Good app, or it was until the catwalk broke..which is the only reason I used the app since I can just log in on my phones web and get access to all the other stuff like the market and such :/. Without the catwalk there is no reason to use the app. And I’ve been waiting for awhile for it to be fixed and still no update. Once it’s fixed I’ll fix my rating

I use the website frequently, but it’s much easier to use this app to dress your avatar. You can see each pose of each item better, and it’s easier to find certain items.

It’s missing the marketplace which most people use, email and a few things the old app had that this one doesn’t The dressing room is ok but if there was a way to enlarge your avatar so they aren’t a small thing in a large room

App kicks me out if I press on certain categories within avatar customization. Just re-joined Gaia after not being on it since the early part of the last decade and was excited to see that not much had changed but maybe that wasn’t for the best…

I love this app, it’s very clean and concise but it misses the mark in convenience. I hope that daily chance and marketplace gets added in soon. And the ability to post in the forums and guilds would be great, too!

For some strange reason the dropplr tab stopped working and I wish you guys could add rally on this app it would be so awesome I remember having an acc with gaia since 2006

I’m logged into my account on the app but they do not have a place where I can update my active email and password so I cannot for the life of me remember my password or my password for my old email and the secondary email I was using is now deactivated due to inactivity. - what can I do?

Bro I can’t even get past the sign up page, when I enter my birthday it tells me I need to be at least 14. I was born in 2005? When I struggled past that for 15 minutes it then just said “unknown error” so… it looks cute but I can’t even get into the game :/

I just bought some Gaia cash. The $8.99 deal which would give you 1,710 Gaia cash and I never received. I emailed them and they sent back a BS reply explaining nothing. I will not be buying anymore. App has been deleted. If you need Gaia cash get it from online itself. I’d put no stars but I had to put one to be able to post this.

Chatting from the app was such a handy feature for me, but now it’s totally broken along with other features in the “more” section. Just make the buttons work again, please. How has it not been addressed yet?

Completely terrible app. It doesn’t allow me to finish the questions it asks me to fill in the beginning of the setup. It’s ridiculous and a waste of a download. Fix this mess. I used to play Gaia all the time when I was in high school and loved it, now it’s useless. One star for sure.

This app could be amazing if the creators were not so disconnected from what Gaians actually want. The interface is smooth but we want freedom to move throughout the site. This app just feels like it’s leading us to what they think we want. Man, I miss the old Gaia community. (Member circa 2004)

i love gaia and evening more cus i’m new and all but, some buttons just don’t work ? like the chat, catwalk (which used to work) and dropplr, also the captcha is a good thought but it’s not as good when you can’t use it, maybe have it look at how many days you’ve been logging in? or maybe just fix it so it takes u back to the app at least,,

App is definitely an improvement but why on god’s green Earth would you not let us access the marketplace to sell our items while on the go?

I purchased Gaia cash through the App, and never received the in game cash. Tried to get a refund and Apple said I’m not eligible for a refund even though I never received anything! Waste of money and a scam. Purchase through the real website and not this trashy glitchy app.

I made in app purchases and I never got what I paid for but they still took my money. Something that basic should not be a problem on a running app. Fix it or take the app down!!!

Your plat/cash amount won’t show, avi won’t load, catwalk won’t load.. the only thing that seems to work is dress up and the forums. I’d give it a higher rating if this was fixed :/

There isn’t much to do here. Most the features are broken or outdated. What’s worse is the customer service is absolutely abysmal. Do *not* spend your money here if you value it at all.
