Amazing healing app for anyone experiencing change
I have been through major life changes in the last few years, and I never associated any of my struggles as "grief." This app has changed all that. Grief is not just about death. This app has helped me learn that any changes in life can cause grief, and appreciating each stage of the grieving process as a learning and growth experience is instrumental in healing. Rachel's meditations take you to the place you need to go mentally as you work through each particular stage of grief. Also, don't miss her artwork within the app... it's beautiful and soothing. For the visual learners, the charting and calendar elements supply the data our brains need to process our own behavioral patterns. Nothing like this app exists to date, and no one has been able to better channel the grieving process into a step by step process of self-love like Rachel VanKoughnet.
I really want to like this app but the resource tab always says “unavailable” and the meditations are the same. I also am not able to enter any information about myself.
Tired of using your own shirt as a Kleenex? The iHeal helps you heal from grief. Grief comes from change. Heal your feelings of anger, depression, bargaining, denial and acceptance through mindfulness techniques like meditation, calendaring and journal exercises. Use the pie chart to help you understand where you may be getting stuck and help yourself move forward with the customizable healing techniques suggestion page. Feel all the feelings and remember: iHeal because iFeel. Don't know the difference between bargaining and denial? The iHeal defines each stage of grief for your reference. The more you feel, the more you heal. The goal is to make the pie chart look like a rainbow. Acceptance is not the finish line, do not resist the other stages of grief, as this is just resistance to healing. Let go and allow yourself to heal naturally. Good grief indeed.
